Perfect unpretentious neighborhood spot in the UES for casual French brunch. Recommend the croque madame with the side salad. Service was very friendly. Very reasonably priced as well.

The 3.75% credit card fee is highway robbery.

The 3.75% credit card fee is highway robbery. It needs to be eliminated because it will prevent first time customers becoming repeat customers. There are so many other establishments that do not charge a credit card fee. Customers can go to nearby Orwashers instead.

Cute spot with plenty of seating, doesn't feel too crowded. Good for both getting work done or meeting up with a friend. Several outlets, but a couple don't work! Luckily the employees are very friendly and let me know exactly which ones did. Good for both coffee and actual meal/food, not just pastries. There's a smaller side room that I absolutely adore. WiFi password is at the register. Tables are an ergonomic height so you're not slumping if you need to use your laptop. Lots of natural lighting. One of my favorite places to pop into

I was looking for a place to sit and have a quiet cup of coffee but the first 3 places I went to had no available tables. Someone suggested I try Le petit Parisien and I am so glad he did! It is a charming little place on a side street, easy to miss (yay, not crowded and my choice of tables!), and what a lovely selection! I had a vegan spinach pie which was delicious, and an excellent cappuccino with oat milk. Excellent service, very Parisian atmosphere, fairly quiet.... and the amazing dessert choices include vegan macaroons, which are close to impossible to find! Oh, and vegans..... there is a vegan sandwich on the menu too! I am looking forward to returning again soon!

Amazing as always. The foie gras sandwich might be the best sandwich I've ever had. Seriously worth a visit!

Left the house without coffee, huge shoutout to the nespresso machine for acting up. UGH. Rushed to get to our touristy day ahead we knew we needed to make a pit stop on the way to the MET. Coffee called. Yelp app came through. Life is perfect! A little hard to get in this street since there was some work being done but IM SO HAPPY we came here. The day officially reset as we walked into Le Petit Parisien. You can get a million coffees in this city but a million croissants are a bit harder to come by. Le Petit Parisien's sweet owner and awesome staff is here to take care of YOU. They have the coolest cafe vibes with lots of French inspo. Am I in France now? Is this Paris? ABSOLUTELY THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. You can order to eat at the cafe at one of their little tables, relax by the nook/sitting lounge (so cute and cozy btw) or take it to go. My first bite of that chocolate croissant was instant glory! I mean, the layers and layers of that flaky, crispy, crust was everything. The barista made my macchiato just how I like it and I fully approve! Obsessed with the mini prepped baguettes. The funky powerful spreadable Camembert cheese and fig was DELICIOUS with this sweet touch at the end. Melted right in my mouth SO GOOD. The owner was so welcoming and nice and extremely interactive. Love this new spot, thanks Yelp for the quick recommendation!

    Croque monsieur - yummy

Delicious warm croissants. I had an almond croissant. They are a serious competition to Miss Madeline not too far from here. I split a Croque monsieur from brunch menu with bae. It was delicious, perfect, comes with a side salad. Ordered a cappuccino- it was meh and not worth the almost $6. Will get a drip coffee based drink next time. They have an ongoing promotion- free cream puff dusted with cinnamon with any coffee you order and it's delicious and warm. Plenty of seating but still cozy. Will be back to try their sandwiches, macarons and other goodies.

Sandwich/ baguette eatery. Can eat in or take away. Paris themed. We have been twice, the ham and cheese and smoked salmon baguettes were both great. The baguettes are a good size and bread tastes freshly baked. You can eat in, or take away. Indoor and outdoor seating. They also have desserts and other mini cakes. Brunch menu too.

Cinnamon rolls, mini croissants with custard, raisin and cheese danishes...and more!

Most people are in and out. The coffee is rich and flavorful. The pastries are not bad either. Definitely a good neighborhood spot for those that aren't looking to spend their whole day in a coffee spot but instead are looking to grab and go.

Let me tell you why this coffee shop stands above the rest:…read more 1. They use quality beans. I'm a home barista and use Oslo's beans for my americanos. When I moved to the UES, I was worried finding a new local roaster. I've had bad experiences where the beans are too oily or something is off that messes with my usually grind size/extraction time. No issues with Oslo's beans. 2. They actually know how to make a proper americano. Every coffee shop takes a standard cup, puts in the espresso shot, and then fills hot water to the brim of the cup. This destroys the flavor of the espresso. You end up with hot water that tastes slightly like coffee. Oslo chooses quality over quantity. They don't fill the water up to the brim, so you have a cup with 2/3 of liquid; however, this is a proper americano. You can taste the difference. At other shops, I just get drip coffee because they don't know what they're doing. Oslo knows what they're doing. That's why I come here.

Unfortunately, it was totally bland and not large at all. The side sauce added nothing and over 30$ with tax/tip. For entrees, we shared the lobster pasta and the guazzetto di Pesci. The pasta was good. Reasonable amount of pasta but we would have liked some more chunks of lobster for the price. I thought the sauce was only ok but my girlfriend liked it. The guazzetto di Pesci was only fair. The sauce was lacking flavor. Also a very small bowl of broth with maybe 3 small shrimp and muscles, a few small chunks of fish. and two sad, tiny pieces of bread on the side. Since we were still quite hungry after the meal, we ordered the lotus chocolate caramel dessert. This was the only dish we really liked. kinda hard to mess up gelato though. It came with a hard outer candy shell and a very small cookie center that was sweet and delicious. Overall, an average meal at best that we both felt was lacking in taste and size. Won't return.

They did bring out complimentary bread, which was appreciated, though it felt like something that should be standard rather than a highlight. One item someone in our group wanted -- the octopus burger -- was unfortunately unavailable, which was disappointing, especially given that it was brunch and still relatively early in the day. That said, the dishes we did order were good and well prepared. The space itself is nice: the front functions as a cute coffee shop, while the back has tables for sit-down dining. Because of that setup, the vibe feels more casual, but the menu offers solid options. Overall, it was a good experience, just not a great one -- a decent brunch spot, but nothing that blew us away.
