I was suffering a small cold and after leaving CVS Pharmacy next door spotted this tiny bistro. Upon entering I was greeted by a very nice gentleman who asked if this was my first visit. As I replied yes, he continued by giving me an idea of the menu and what it included. He was very polite and helpful upon hearing that I was feeling under the weather. Not gonna lie, I wasnt expecting much when my wife and I came to Le testimony. Being in redding ive come to expect mediocre food and service. However, Le testimony exceeded our expectations! Our breakfast was so incredibly delicious with balanced flavors and no over bearing qualities at all. We were greeted by the chef and owner and he was such a sweetheart. We immediately felt so welcome and informed about the menu. We got the turkey bacon omelette with house potatoes and toast, it was great! We also got the seasonal berry crepes and it was INCREDIBLE! Very tasty healthy organic meals! I always feel good after I eat there and the food tastes homemade. They are open for pretty much any meal which is convenient for me. The BEST food! Consistent food and service! I didn't know that I liked savory crepes until I came here. Everything is always fresh and organic! For someone who is gluten free and dairy free, finding restaurants can be hard but Le Testimony makes it so easy to still eat great food without allergens. I always feel so good and energetic after eating here. The portions are big enough to split into two meals or with someone. Not going to lie, I did not have a pleasant experience at this establishment. The food was good but the older man who works there (not sure if he is the owner or not?) was very rude to his employees while I was there. The girl who took my order was very pleasant and we had a good connection but as soon as I walked away, I could hear the man snapping at her for something small and something that was not a big deal. This was a huge problem for me because I know that this business is proud to be associated with Bethel and I expected nothing but kindness and that is not what I experienced.
