Basil chicken with brown rice and Diet Coke- lunch special $13.50
    Jessica W.

Food: lunch specials M-F for $13.50 and it includes a drink! I had the yellow curry chicken and hubby had the basil ground chicken with egg on top. The steamed white wasn't ready so we went with brown rice. The portion size was generous and they also refilled our drinks several times. The unsweetened ice tea is really delicious. They can't make the curry zero spice level because it's already made but it was fine for me with a little kick. The basil chicken was very tasty (spice level zero). Service: they kindly offered to put our drinks in to go cups, but we had already had a few refills so we didn't take them up on that. Ambiance: bar area and tables inside with some outdoor seating. Street parking was a pain, so many homeless people and trash on the streets, so we'll try their other location next time.

Fenomenal Thai restaurant, the best we ever tasted and served hot, flavorful and perfect portions to fill you up. Service offers Thai eating training lol in case you don't know what to order or if it's too spicy for the kids. Yes it's family friendly and ready to seat the whole family for a feast! Parking is for pay at the two public parking lots.

As first-timers, we were pleasantly surprised by Le Thai!! We started with the papaya salad, which was super tangy and refreshing. The waterfall beef was mouthwateringly delicious, and the oxtail in the Thai oxtail & meatball soup was melt-in-your-mouth fantastic. Now, the star of the show was the flavorful short rib fried rice, which definitely deserves all the hype! On top of everything, our server was so helpful and attentive. Thank you, Le Thai--we will definitely be back!

Recommended to visiting, and couldn't agree more after our visit. First, Gwen was our server and she's amazing. Friendly, attentive, and informative. It was also her birthday - Happy Birthday again Gwen! Ordered a variety of food, and a shirt to go! Fresh drinks, savory and delicious food, and their Uber Crème Brûlée?! MUST HAVE. Small spot but seating inside and out. Cute location.

A friend introduced me to Le Thai back in December 2024 and it has stuck with me ever since! I frequent the Charleston and Rancho location more when I visit Vegas these days, but these locations are somewhat district from each other so try both! We shared the short rib fried rice (bonus tip: order with an egg and a side of gravy - I'm told the other location doesn't have it!) and either the Pad Kee Mow or the Pad See Ewe with pork. Both were really delicious! The term unctuous comes to mind - you'll want to keep eating despite getting full. I also think the prices are reasonable. This location is a bit busier than the other, unsurprisingly with being located on Fremont. Because of that, parking will be trickier. I can't recall if they take reservations but it's worth calling ahead. Our severe was friendly and attentive and the interior of the restaurant is nice and clean. I think it might be a bit smaller than the other location. If you're looking for a great place to eat especially while down on Fremont, check out Le Thai!

Wow! Le Thai has some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The hype for this place is seriously well deserved. Great location too, as you can easily walk right to the casinos / shops that are on Fremont street. We got the Crab Rangoons, Awesome Noodles, and the Short Rib Fried Rice all at a spice level 3. The fried rice here tasted so rich and delicious. Probably some of the best I've had, as it stood out as a very unique dish that normally isn't served at other Thai restaurants I've been to. I also enjoyed that the crab rangoons are a smaller size, which makes it easier for sharing, as well as more crispy. Definitely add this to your Vegas list!

Beautiful Thai spot tucked away next to Fremont street! Came in on a Wednesday and waited a while for a single seat at the bar. They were pretty packed so service was a bit laggy. I ordered the appetizer portion of the waterfall beef since it came with the sticky rice and asked for a side of lettuce wraps like the laab has. This confused the kitchen quite a bit, but eventually through some back and forth with the servers we got it right. It was a good portion size and tasted pretty good. I noticed the portion sizes on the rest of the menu were a bit small for the price, but that's to be expected in a tourist area.

Le DELICIOUS! It is all about the Short Rib Fried Rice. That dish is money. It even comes with gravy drippings on the side which make it extra, over the top flavor bomb. Honorable mention for the cucumber salad, ube creme brulee and the Tom kha soup. Service was attentive and nice at the bar. Very personable and gave great recommendations on food. Portions are a bit smaller than normal Thai places. Restrooms were clean, but there is only 2 of them.

Garlic fried rice with Dungeness crab
    Carmen C.

The ambience isn't anything special, but the food is out of this world. I have the garlic fried rice with the Dungeness crab, and it was the best fried rice I've ever had in my life. I had one of the cocktails on the menu, but all I remember is that it had coconut milk. I was not overwhelmed. The service was great and I really enjoyed the people watching in there.

Le Thai is one of the best thai places in the city. They've been around for a very long time and they just never miss. This is also their original spot on Freemont. I love their tom yum soup, one of the best I've ever had. Eggplant dish was a hit. This place is busy and just fun vibes. Service is always good. If you never heard or been to Le Thai, then make this your next visit. You'll definitely enjoy it!

I'm updating this review because my husband ended up with severe food poisoning from here. While we were eating he started to feel sick and then as the day and night progressed it became even worse. He ate everything pictured below except the pad Thai which is what I ate. Servers were super helpful and quick with everything we needed. The place is relatively small so I could see it becoming very very in here. The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free and the menu is very well marked. I was very disappointed because I wanted to substitute the noodles the had in a different dish for gluten free noodles so I could eat it but they wouldn't allow it which was insanely disappointing and frustrating to me. Everything we had though tasted good and I like that you can customize the spice level. The short rib fried rice is their thing they are the most popular for and I can see why, it was good. The biggest negative on the food was the steamed sticky rice. It was dry and hard and really difficult to eat.

Dying to try this place and OMG-- Food-10/10 Service-10/10 I mean, they definitely surprised me. We ordered spring rolls-7/10. So crunchy and filled with yummy goodness An appetizer with Beef and sticky rice-20/20 This was a table favorite and it was big enough to be a great lunch or light dinner for 1. Short Rib rice...still dreaming of it. By far some of the best fried rice around. Crab fried rice. Delicious Chicken pad thai- very good. It is sweet. And a shrimp dish with peppers and onions . So good. The staff was very good. Funny and fast. Greeted us immediately, sat us quickly and had great recommendations. Parking is easy. Free lot about 1 minute away. try this place.

Last stop on our #lips smaking food tour. This was by far one of the best restaurants along the tour. We had so much food. It was really good. The food was delicious. It was hot, it was a different taste. I really enjoyed this location. The servers where were very nice. The service was good as well. The atmosphere is very upbeat and busy, but very cool. Definitely will be here again if I ever visit Vegas.

No biggie, I understand that things get busy. Both dishes tasted far too sweet for me. Personal preference, I suppose. Biggest issue was the amount of rice given with the basil chicken. This place does a great job on Thai curry. I know many reviews will say "the curry was good"…read morewithout any details, but let me give you the details. -They seem to use actual whole spices in the curries, you'll see flecks of coriander and lemongrass and such. I suspect they make their own curry paste. -The coconut milk is very rich and thick and the curries are thick (not just like water) -Each curry tastes like what it's supposed to taste like and they all taste very different. I think the best taste is in the yellow curry, Massaman curry, red curry, and pumpkin curry. They represent the flavors that are supposed to be associated with that curry. The curries are not oily, no layer of oil or little drops of oil, and don't seem to have seed oils in them (we asked and were told the curries are a good dish if you want to avoid seed oils) -The curries are consistently good and I've had them maybe 15x between dine-in, trying my husband's food, and delivery -- been great every time -The curry fillings are good -- chicken is tender, they include lots of vegetables, the pumpkin in the pumpkin curry is melt-in-your-mouth -They highlight the taste with fish sauce (more authentic), they can probably leave it off if you don't want it -They'll actually make the curry spicy if you request it, I have a high spice need/tolerance and this is one of the only places that will make it taste spicy to a level where I can feel it if I ask for their highest spice level -The jasmine rice is the best of anywhere I've eaten in Vegas -- so fresh, so bouncy/springy, high-quality rice grains, clearly handled well and rinsed prior to cooking, cooked perfectly every time I've had it. It's a big part of the experience of curry to have bouncy, high-quality jasmine rice to contrast with he creaminess of the curry, and this place does a great job with it. -The portions are large and I almost always take some home, delivery portions are pretty large, too There are only 3 Thai places in Vegas that I can say that about, and this is the only one in SW Vegas that I've found to be like this. the service is also great and you actually feel like a guest there. they have little extra touches like real candles. they do a great job with refilling water, lemon in your water, mints by the door, lots of extra touches. above-par Thai restaurant, please support them!
