OMG!! I really don't understand how there can only be a 3 star rating overall for Cheesecake Factory. Every time I go I get great service, great food and a reasonable price. Last night we had a gift card to use and I didn't feel like cooking so we came here. I got the Parmesan-Herb Crusted Chicken: Sauteed Chicken Breasts Coated with Parmesan-Garlic Breadcrumbs and Herbs. Served with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans. Let me tell you, this was absolutely one of the best dishes I've ever had at any restaurant. So good I couldn't stop eating so I have no leftovers :( My wife got the Pasta da Vinci Sauteed Chicken, Mushrooms and Onions in a Delicious Madeira Wine Sauce Tossed with Penne Pasta which was also excellent and loaded with mushrooms. We brought our daughter here for her birthday lunch, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we walked through the door. The entryway had an overwhelming sewer gas odor that carried throughout the restaurant. We nearly turned around and left, but we had promised our kids the food would make it worthwhile. Sadly, it did not. We were seated with dirty silverware, waited approximately 20 minutes for our server to take our order, and then another 35 minutes for our food. The restaurant was nearly empty--we arrived around 2:30 on a Tuesday--so the delays were especially difficult to understand. We could see our food sitting in the window for at least 15 minutes while our server chatted with another employee. By the time the food arrived, it had clearly been sitting under the warmer too long. The plates were unbelievably hot, while the food itself was dried out and unappetizing. We decided not to risk another long wait for cheesecake, so I went to the counter and purchased a few slices while my husband waited for the check. I was able to order and receive the cheesecake before our server returned to the table with our bill. As we walked out, my daughter looked at me and said, "Remind me why you liked this place again?" But was served barely warm-ish. The sandwich which was, served on a wonderful, tender, tasty bun. But it lacked flavor! I ordered the Asian Chicken Lettuce Wrapped Tacos. It has grilled chicken, carrots, bean sprouts, cucumbers, cilantro and rice noodles wrapped up in butter lettuce. This is on the SkinnyLicious menu and let me tell you it's a very light item. It does have a great taste but the amount of chicken is not much. The dipping sauce is the best part! I read reviews before I went, as I tend to do and couldn't believe how many bad reviews CF got, the menu was always vast. and the food was always pretty good. 2026 Cheesecake Factory was not what I remembered, the menu was vast still but every entree was $25-40$ ! I got a Cesar salad and honey truffle chicken the food wasn't terrible my meal alone was $35 for fried chicken? The server was grumpy, I get some people have bad days. I wish CF the very best thanks for the memories I will try again in 10 years if they are still open. read more

I hadn't been to a cheesecake factory in a while. We went to the location at 6675 W. 119th St., Overland Park. It is a very big location and I did not realize that the ambience and decor was that style very cool, love the bar area, gorgeous bar. We were able to get there right at 11 o'clock when they open no one was there was seated ordered water and our drinks I ordered a chocolate martini very very good. Our other drink was a coconut island soda drink non-alcoholic. We had our complementary bread which is always a fan favor. Appetizers was avocado with toast. Very very good. Our entrée finally came out. I ordered Mexican Fiesta salad was not a fan not sure if the dressing that they put on it made my salad my lettuce wilted, but it looked old. Yeah didn't care for it. Natalie ordered chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. I believe that was it. She said it was just OK also. We had a wonderful dinner here. We didn't have to wait too long for a table and could've made a reservation on the app if we'd been rewards members. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was as really good and all three of us enjoyed our chicken themed entrees. The complimentary bread is always nice to snack on before the meal. The desserts are amazing of course. I forgot to take pics of our cheesecakes, but all were great. Chocolate chip cookie dough, banana cream and Oreo. The prices are a bit high, but portions are big and the menu is ginormous. Years into its existence at this location, TCF keeps on keepin' on! We popped in with a couple giftcards from recent holidays on a Friday night, right in the middle of dinner rush. The wait time quoted was 30-45 minutes; we waited about 40, and then were seated. The menu is as huge as ever, but other than the overwhelming plethora of options, it's actually a good thing, as I still have yet to have something to eat at a TCF that wasn't at least a solid "B" in quality. The cooks are well-trained, and pretty darn consistent. Our party took advantage of the diversity in the menu, and ordered salad, pasta, and steak. Everything was delicious! I particularly love that they have a large health-conscious (or, at least calorie conscious) menu these days! Our waiter was very good: professional, well-spoken, attentive, and helpful! He offered, numerous times, to help with selections, and was around for refills multiple times. The ambiance is what it is: big, busy, loud, tight...and extremely cramped up front for waiting to be seated. But, it should be said, they've done a nice job keeping this place feeling decently fresh over the years, as I didn't get a dingy or dank feel in any part of the facility. Paint, upholstery, tables, chairs, floor...all were in good condition and clean. ...which is not something many places that have occupied a building for decades can say. Props to the chain for that! My mom had an outpatient procedure done in OP at KU Med, afterwards we went and had lunch at Kmacho's but I insisted we stop at The Cheesecake Factory for a slice of Cheesecake to go. The Cheesecake is So Amazing and Delicious-it never disappoints! I ordered my usual Tiramisu Cheesecake, my Sister ordered a slice and also my Dad who has never had cheesecake from there. I was stuffed from lunch so I waited until I got home to eat which was an hour away but it held up fine. The restaurant itself was pretty busy but they have a To Go area and a showcase with the cheesecakes in it off to the right hand side when you first walk in. Well first off I took my 2 teenage grandkids for late lunch clearly dinner on a Tuesday after school. This is traditionally a quiet time and we just wanted to get a bite to eat real quick. First off very quiet not a a loud crowd. It was extremely cold and I am never cold but it was freezing in the restaurant so bring a light sweater to be comfortable. We ordered a few apps and they were great the avocado rolls, Korean fried cauliflower and the street corn "ribs". All 3 were great but my favorite was the corn ribs they were Devine. My grandson oreded the vegan Cobb salad as his main and it was delicious. Granddaughter ordered the classic burger well done and she enjoyed it. I ordered the skinnylicous Tuscan chicken I order this through door dash often as I love this dish, the one thing I find lacking is the Farro in the dish. So I thought if I came in sat down and ordered I would get different experience well I sure did. I got no Farro at all with my food. Totally not the servers fault he was super attentive and even indulged kids in going to look at case for cheesecake options instead of menu. I do recommend CF as a great place to eat but make sure you get what is described on menu! my food was missing ingredient that my grandson had in his meal. I'll start with service. It was absolutely 5 stars. We were a party of 9 women ages 60-88, so you know it wasn't easy. They accommodated our special seating request and assigned Tyler to be our server. He was polite and was happy to take down the modifications needed and made some good suggestions. He was patient and checked on us regularly. They also let us bring our own cake and table decorations as we were celebrating a birthday. And Tyler even offered plates for the cake. The 4 stars is because the food and drinks are expensive for what you get. My Marco Polo dish had about 6-7 very small pieces of chicken in it. For $18 I expected more protein in my dish. But the taste was very good. Soft drinks were close to $5 and $17 for frozen piña coladas also seems high. We will keep CF as a place for special occasions, but for my budget it can't be more than that. read more

My boys and I got to experience the Cheesecake Factory yesterday for the first time together on a snow day. Our budget does not allow us to experience anything like this on a regular basis; however, we were blessed with two Christmas gifts that led us to enjoy the experience. All I can say is ... WOW! Never before had we received such special service. Tyler was so patient as my oldest son and I leafed through the novel of a menu. He refilled our drinks at least three times, and we never felt pressured to order. He loves steak, and when he ordered the filet mignon, it was hands down the best meal he had ever tasted. SO worth the price! Tyler likewise checked to make sure it was cooked to perfection. It most certainly was. My shrimp jambalaya was divine, and my youngest son was mesmerized how they put sugar around the rim of his lemonade. The three of us shared an Oreo cheesecake to finish off our meal, and I can guarantee the leftovers will make a remarkable lunch for us today. I highly recommend the Cheesecake experience! read more

I was directed to stand by the patio door while waiting on a DoorDash order. I waited approximately 12 minutes before politely asking for assistance from an employee who appeared to be a manager. I understand it was a busy time, and multiple employees walked past during that wait. Shortly after I asked for help, two additional drivers arrived behind me. Despite my having been waiting longer, Thomas assisted them first and then returned to me. His tone and demeanor were dismissive, and he appeared visibly annoyed that I needed assistance. I understand busy environments, but courtesy and professionalism should not disappear when someone asks for help. This experience left a poor impression, and due to the lack of professionalism shown, I will not be returning with my family or recommending this location to others. Ever. read more

Just left dinner, celebrating my moms birthday. Her food was good, however my food and service was sub-par. Ordered the steak medallions. After originally receiving my food, I mainly noticed that my mashed potatoes were old (not fresh), the steaks were very small and barely had any vegetables. After speaking with my server, he sent it back to get a new one made. I appreciate that, however it took the entire meal for both of my parents to finish the meal before I received my new plate. Once completing our meal and receiving the check I noticed that I was charged twice. Yes our server did remove it. Why was it charged twice in the first place? As I was leaving, I had to talk to a manager and brought up the situation to him and he was sorry but did and would pass that information on. To me that it is still bad customer service that you had a customer waiting an entire meal to get a remade meal of originally bad food. I expected better customer service from them. I am convinced that The Cheesecake Factory is rigged. I can never get a time or a table at this restaurant. Even if I try to reserve a time it's never a time that is close to what works for my schedule. I even show up at the restaurant hoping to get seated to enjoy a meal and there is always an extremely long wait time. 6pm on a Friday night I was told 1 hour and 45 minutes. HOW?! Are they short staffed? Restaurant not big enough? Sometimes I'd like to sit and enjoy my meal rather than take it to go or find an alternative. Very disappointed. read more

Our server was very friendly and provide great feedback for menu items. I went with the Renee special and it was delicious! I loved the pasta packed with veggies and Parmesan cheese. Plus, the lunch portion was very filling. I received a free slice of cheesecake for joining their rewards program ahead of time.
