Stopped in on Saturday morning, conveniently Leann's was right by my hotel and was able to fit me in for a pedicure. I opted for the deluxe pedicure, which included a sugar scrub, hot stones. and paraffin wax, which felt heavenly. I hadn't treated myself to a pedicure in years and was delighted that Holly provided excellent service. Leann was also in the shop and it was nice to meet her, she was very friendly and accommodating. I also have arthritis in my hands pretty bad right now and asked if I could add a hand and arm massage, which they were able to accommodate for an extra $15 for 10+ minutes. Next time I'm in town visiting family I will definitely stop by.

I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience to prevent others from a similar experience. I just moved here and was looking for my new go-to nail salon. I went in for a Gel-X set with a thin French tip, done by Leann (presumably the owner). I've been getting my nails done for years, and this was one of the worst experiences I've had. Within five days, my left thumb nail became loose. The next day, the right thumb's French tip chipped, and the same day, the entire left thumb nail popped off. Also the filing and shape were uneven, plus it's clear that French tips are not her strength (See photos). I called to address the issues, but she immediately became defensive, claimed she hadn't done any Gel-X that week, and said she doesn't guarantee longevity--fair enough if the set had lasted two weeks, not barely one. For $90, I expected much better quality and service. She refused to offer any solution. On top of the poor work, she called her employee "stupid" and snapped at her, saying "What is wrong with you?", for making the simple mistake of getting the wrong shade of red. I feel that was unprofessional, mean, and was quite frankly uncomfortable to witness. I felt horrible for her employee and feel ashamed that I didn't say anything. Out of the entire negative experience, this part stuck with me the most. Despite scrolling throw numerous photos on yelp of perfectly manicured nails, with a high level of skill and quality, my experience, plus the fact that the salon was empty on a Sunday, makes me doubt their transparency and whether they were the artists responsible for the work in those pictures. I strongly advise avoiding this place to spare yourself the frustration and disappointment I went through. Feel free to scroll through my nails after only 7 days.

Extremely disappointing and unsafe experience. I came in expecting a simple gel manicure, but the technician aggressively over-filed my nails until they became extremely thin and sensitive. One finger was even cut and bled during the process, and no proper care or apology was given. Within one day, the gel started peeling and lifting, which clearly shows poor technique and lack of care. For the price I paid, this is unacceptable. not only is the quality terrible, but it also damaged my natural nails and caused real pain. I truly regret not reading the reviews beforehand because many people mentioned the same problems. I will not be returning, and I do not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their nails or safety.

Leanne and the women at her salon provide the best quality care! The salon is very clean and organized. I always leave in love with my nails - either simple or with colorful designs!

I am dumbfounded at how horrible my nails came out and appalled at the behavior of the salon owner and her employee (or daughter?). I came yesterday 5/5 to get a gel mani and pedi yesterday, and my manicure was genuinely the worst manicure I have ever seen. Not only were my nails filed into different shapes and lengths (too short, crooked, rough edges, scratchy) , but the polish was uneven, bumpy and SO thick. She filed my nails so hard I was left bleeding. Nails aside - I have never encountered such an impatient, aggressive, rude, and unprofessional salon owner. I left the salon as I was the last guest and they were closing, fully knowing I would have to come back to get them fixed. I came in today, 5/6, to get my hands redone after calling because it is actually comical how horrible they look. When I came in I was met with more impatience, aggressiveness and disdain for the fact that THEY did a bad job at doing my nails at the nail salon that THEY chose to open up. They seem really unhappy to have guests at their salon that don't just agree to whatever they think is best. Ex: I KNOW my nails are scratchy and uneven because I can feel them hurting my skin when I touch anything and can see that they are filed diagonally (?). Leann does not agree and says that my nails look fine to her and I am "picky". She began by reshaping my nails which required filing them down so short, none of my nails matched and when I brought this up, the owner pushed the nail file at me and told me "do it yourself". If I wanted to do it myself I wouldn't have come to a nail salon. I also kept repeating that I was not trying to upset her but my nails are SO scratchy, uneven, and I'm BLEEDING. Her tone was dismissive and annoyed, then angry and confrontational even though I repeatedly said I was not trying to be difficult I just wanted my nails fixed OR taken off!!! I would have gladly went somewhere else if they took them off but I spent $60 on a manicure and have an event in 1 day! It is not a nice experience for me to have to come in twice while being berated and spending my money to walk out with nails that are physically scratchy and clunky. I also don't appreciate being spoken down to which seems to be the only way this lady communicates. After I did not bow down to her demands on how my nails should look, she had someone else (maybe her daughter?) do my nails, and she was equally rude and begrudgingly finished my horrible looking nails. After painting my nails the wrong color and trying to gaslight me into believing it is the correct color, they finally finished another horrible nail job. At this point I was so exhausted with how they were speaking to me that I just wanted to leave and would have paid them at this point to just never touch my hands again. All in all I got to spend 2.5 hours being disrespected and getting the worst set of nails I've ever had. Walked out the 2nd time AGAIN with uneven nails, more bloody fingers, and a now headache from this horrible experience. Don't come here, please.

I really appreciated these ladies for redoing the nails without any additional fee when I unintentionally messed them up while there. I could tell that both women took their time with them. They trimmed my nails to make them even, and were attentive. My nails were done nearly a week ago, and I have been told that they still look new! A coworker had recommended them to me. Glad I went.

This place is the worst nail shop I've ever been to. DO NOT GO THERE! 1. They are more expensive than other places (straight after my appointment going to another place to fix them) to find out the price difference. 2. The owner and staff were very impatient when you point out issues. You are paying for a service and should reflect on their work. I left the appointment with crappy nails. Gel polish was not painting evenly. They did not remove my previous polish properly and just keep filing my real nails so thin to the point it burns. They did not do the final orange polish filing before painting the colours on so everything is patchy and uneven. The photos look better but in person is SHOCKING.

Ignore my dry cuticles. This picture was taken right after work, where my hands get beat up, but Leann's manicures last me weeks!

Since living in Alameda I've been to a few places, but I'll highly recommend Leann! I've been coming here for a few months and absolutely love Leann and her team! Leann is the only one I will trust to get my ingrown toe nail out properly. It's so hard to find someone to remove them and she's an absolute pro! She makes sure I'm well taken care of and makes my experience here luxurious. I try and come every 3-4weeks because they last so long! I always get a gel mani pedi and takes less 90min. I appreciate that they don't rush and a very consistent with quality and service. I'll continue to come and support this fabulous nail salon.

Amazing quality and attention to detail! Leann is one of a kind! So so hard to find a skilled nail tech, and pro! She is the best, suggests great colors based on skin tone, and super special art details. I can go on and on. She's super nice, great person, and truly cares about you, it's not Just a transaction. Not recommended. The owner is rude and impatient, and her manicure skills are very poor. She couldn't remove all of my previous gel, didn't smooth the nail surface properly, and there were bubbles and cracks afterward. I asked her to redo it, but it was still bad. Throughout the entire appointment, she was defensive and impatient. Don't waste your money here.

I paid almost $70 , only for my gel toenail polish to peel completely off same day.

It is my first time coming to this location. I had the pleasure of having Leann doing my nails. She's the sweetest person ever. I recently moved to Lathrop and I must say I miss the way Bay Area does nails. Leann took her time and didn't rush her work on me. I was excited to come here since a friend got me a gift certificate. Unfortunately they have an expiration date of the gift certificate (despite the fact that expirations of gift certificates are not legal based on California Civil code) and I didn't want to spend the energy fighting. Bummer, they might do good work but unfortunate that they don't want to honor a gift certificate that's slightly more than a year old. read more

I came in here on a Wednesday there was no wait. The ladies were really nice even offered to keep an eye on my car since the meter outside wasn't working and that's about where that ends. I got a manicure! of course they upsell so she advised that I get some hard gel which I went ahead and tried for $50, the gel is already cracked! Three days in ... She soaked my nails in a bowl with a slice of lemon for 30 seconds she barely trimmed my nails and did not clean underneath my nails NOT TO MENTION! The gel was not covering the edge of the nail which she blamed me for not putting my hand evenly into the LED lamp then it bubbled up when she tried to apply more gel to fix it at which point I said that it wasn't OK so she filed most of it off and redid them. They were a little better but not what they were suppose to be then she sent me to wash my hands she took out the lotion to do the massage which after I paid she didn't do! and had put the lotion away I said my nails aren't shiny like they're suppose to be and she laughed and put one more coat of clear and oil and said I was done !!! I didn't say anything else I just wanted to leave at this point . I don't recommend this place. They're nice but they don't do good work! read more

Had a lovely experience here today! I had a basic pedicure and a gel manicure. Both services were good, and the result looks great. I loved that the manicurist, Holly, offered to do a fun ring finger look (sparkly gold with my burgundy nails), and that they asked if I wanted to upgrade the pedicure. I declined both, but I loved that they asked! Ultimately, I think the best part was watching the three gals interact. One was Leann, and you could tell she loves her employees and her salon, and the vibe between the three of them was just so silly and fun, and it made it fun for me too. My only recommendation was that the gal who did my pedicure could have applied a lot more pressure during the foot/leg massage, but otherwise it was fine, and she was sweet. read more

My nails look a hot mess. The acrylic is lumpy and uneven. Under the nail had extra gunk from filing dust that I had to pick off. There are small fibers that were embedded in the polish. These nails ain't it & were sloppily done. I trusted the high Yelp reviews, but I'll be getting these redone once my flight lands tomorrow. Customer service was friendly & my pedicure came out nicely, however $90 is is too much for this work, smh. read more

This is by far the worst nail salon I've ever been too... I really don't understand how it almost has 5 stars. My whole left hand is crooked, the nail she "fixed" is crooked and uneven. The full i got was not filled all the way and the way she did a HORRIBLE job with the paint job. They were also very rude to a couple black women that came in, she let me pay with a card BEFORE 7 but made them pull cash out at the ATM! I'm not one to demand a refund but my nails are so bad I wanna cry! Someone please recommend a good nail spot read more

I am a habitual nail biter since I can remember. I've always wanted to stop but somehow, never could. That's until i came to visit Leanne at her nail salon. I read much online that some places won't touch nail biting clients but that did not deter Leanne. She knew exactly how to help and listened to what I wanted. When I came into the salon, my nails were short, uneven, and simply disgusting. Leanne added some extensions to my nails and powder. As a male client, having nail extensions never really came to mind. After Leanne did her magic, my fingers finally looked normal and very natural! For the first time in my life, I actually got complimented on my nails. I'd definitely recommend! read more

Love going to Leann's! I came here for the first time when I first moved to alameda and I was very very pregnant. I felt treated like a princess by all the staff there. I didn't go back again for a long time after having my baby and Leann remembered me which I thought was so sweet. They have brand new chairs and an updated and professional looking "menu" of services. Leann is so kind and gives the best massages when I get my pedicure done by her. Everything is very clean and organized too. It is also a perfect location on Webster right next to a soon-to-be ice cream shop! read more

My hubby thought I looked a little down when he came home for lunch today so he left work early to sit home with our dogs and told me to go get my nails done! I hadn't done this in over a year because of covid so I found Leann's based on their awesome reviews! They DID NOT let me down!!! I started with the best pedicure I've seriously ever had!!! Hot stone massage plus the best leg and foot massage I've ever had at a nail salon!! Holly was phenomenal!!! She even plugged in my phone for me!! Then I went to sit with Leann for my nails!! She was so thorough, gentle, and detailed I was in heaven today!! I don't have a single cuticle cut, red mark, or sore spot when she was finished and my nails are absolutely beautiful!!! Leann was so sweet and so fun to visit with! I felt like I was talking to a dear old friend!! There was not a lull in conversation! She told me how much trouble her home country of Vietnam is in. She has been sending care packages of Tylenol and vitamin C amongst other much needed supplies! If anybody wants to help you can really help by buying these at Costco and bringing them in with you! She'll ship them, she can only buy one of each at a time due to limits right now. These people desperately need help! They're a world away from the kind of support we have here in America! After calling what used to be my home nail salon and not being able to secure an appointment for the third time in two weeks. I began to search on yelp. I stumbled across Leann's business, saw her star rating, checked out some photos and read a few of the most recent reviews. I was willing to give them a try. I called and was able to secure an appointment for that evening so I could go immediately after work. The location was easy to find and parking was available on the street. I walked in and was greeted by who I now know as Leann. My temperature was checked at the door by another employee and I was asked to sit at the nail table (I was there for a fill & pedicure). I sat down and Leann began filling my nails making small talk. She was familiar with my previous nail salon home and how the ownership had changed. What really stood out about Leann was that she saw how my nails were previously done (with chrome) and instantly knew that I wasn't a nail polish type of girl. I need some pizazz!! Okaaaay! She pointed me in the direction of other chrome colors they had as well as a new cat eye design. Sold! There were so many colors to choose from but I went with the pink/purplish cat eye. I am satisfied. Although the employees speak limited English they are very courteous. As well as Leann. She made sure I was comfortable in her establishment which is something you do not feel these days. Kudos to Leann and her team. She doesn't have a lot of bright colors but I'd purchase my own gel set polish and return just because the service was just that awesome. read more

I went on here looking for a nail place on a whim. Leann, Holly and Ann are amazing. Everyone was so hospitable and we were the first to sit in the new pedicure chairs. I'm not one to get my nails done often but Leanns has got me thinking that maybe I should! I needed a last minute mani-pedi before my trip and Leann was able to accommodate a same-day appointment. Her business is conveniently located on a Main Street in Alameda, and I had no issues with finding nearby street parking on a Thursday afternoon. I didn't know what I wanted, something subtle but pretty and Leann delivered! I showed her a reference photo, she asked me what color my outfit was and she added her own creativity. Also note that I've always been cautious about getting my nails done because I'm afraid of the pain (lol) but Leann and her team were so gentle and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. We had great conversation, and her place was very clean - it is clear that she is very passionate about her business. Thank you, Leann. I will definitely be returning! Update: Removed one star for retention. About 4-5 days in, the gel polish already started lifting on all nails like regular nail polish. :( I was hoping this gel set would last a bit longer. I work from home at a computer all day so I'm not doing anything different that may reduce the longevity. Maybe I should request for more layers next time! read more

The acrylic set ended up being different lengths and thicknesses. It was all over the place and really really bad. I also feel nickeled and dimed. Anyway, when I went to a different salon for a fill, they were like, "omg.... This is awful. I'm going to redo this for you..." read more

LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE. Best acrylic nail set I've ever ever ever had. I got them done august 3rd and it is now the 28th! ----they ARE STILL ALL ON. Looking so beautiful! The owner, Leann did my nails. I came late- about 20 mins before they closed and asked for a spa pedicure and a mani w/full acrylic set (for a last minute shotgun wedding lol not for me...+the bff*) and Leann totally with no hesitation said yes and took me in. My nails were done perfectly. Another lovely employee stayed with her to help- and they both did my extremities at the same time. It was not rushed at all, but it also didn't take FOREVER. The massage for the spa pedi was incredible!!!! H ok menu as soon as possible read more

I honestly had some hope for this place this was my fourth time coming and she did a horrible job on my gel manicure! I was keep telling her you didn't paint my whole mail through and all she kept on saying was, the nail polish you chose shrinks and I have to put more coats on lol! I gave up honestly! And it was only Two mail techs that day. My nail chipped and wasn't even a week! Won't go back! They don't even have varieties of nail polish to choose from! You may be thinking after looking at my photos (included below), "No way. She must have painted that herself." That's right, no way. I can paint better. It's only been three days, and I can't believe how hideous my nails look. But then again, it looked bad from the moment I walked out of that nail salon. Let's start with the good -- the price. The mani + pedi combo (not gel) is $50. But fair warning to my dear Yelpers not to ask Leann, the owner, whether they have a combo price for gel mani and pedi. She'll look at you as if you just said the most offensive thing in the world and ask, "Do you still want to do it or not?!" Another positive -- the person who did my mani and pedi (not Leann) was extremely nice. My one star (and my 18% tip) goes out to her. As you can see from the photos, though, she wasn't very good. She smudged one of my nails while struggling to move around a stone to the right spot. I kindly asked her to fix the smudge. Other salons would just remove the polish and start fresh. She instead kept on applying additional coats of paint on top. Okay, now to the bad (though I acknowledge that all of the positives have been not-so-positive thus far). Leann's service is by far the worst this place has to offer. And that's saying a lot given how bad they are at paint jobs. For example, before I walked out, I noticed a nail that was extra streaky. To be fair, the color I chose was pale blue, which can be difficult to apply. It did not help that the polish was super thick (presumably because it was old?). So although most of my nails looked pretty streaky, I didn't complain. But I asked Leann to redo my one extra streaky nail. Can anyone guess what she did next? Ding, ding ding! Yep, applied more paint to just HALF of that nail. She did more damage than good and then walked away. I didn't bother asking her to fix again. Oh, and here's a fun episode. While Leann was applying the polish on my streaky nail, my friend asked her what color the polish was because she liked the color. Leann wouldn't tell her! At first she made some excuse about having to focus on painting half of my nail. After she was done applying the polish, she TOOK the polish and placed on top of a table that was two tables away from where we were standing. ??????? Last minute wanted treat myself to a mani/pedi, stumbled upon this place via Yelp and called to make a same day reservation. The staff was extremely friendly and made my appointment right away, I even made another last minute time change and they accommodated. Arrived at my scheduled time and was seated right away (which was extremely refreshing because most shops make you wait even with a reservation!!) Sat down on the massage chair (much needed!) and picked out the color I wanted, the gel options here are average. The service was great, the lady took delicate care of my hands and feet, deep cleaned my cuticles (it's been a while) and the hot stone massage was the cherry on top of it all! Leann's is such a sweetheart!!!! They do not skimp on the massage. Tammy's massage was awesome, i was falling asleep. My daughter and I had the deluxe pedicure, it was amazing!!!! We've been to other nail salon and paid way more and received less service!!! UPDATE: Leann reached out to me after reading my review and offered many options to fix my nails. I really appreciate the offer, unfortunately I've already been there twice and left unhappy both times so i declined her offer first time coming here and now I understand her reviews. Leann is very friendly and polite. she's definitely a hit or miss. from the other customers I saw she takes good care of her regulars. I got a pedi and acrylic full set. this is the color I wanted but the nails are not symmetrical. some are thicker than others too. my pedí didn't have a massage and almost immediately smudged and had to return next day so she could fix them. I told her my nails weren't ready and she didn't listen. she unwillingly filed my thumb nails i feel like those are just crazy wide and didnt match the other nails. Very disappointed at my last appointment. VERY POOR customer service. My pedicure was rushed to accommodate another customer who decided she wanted to add a manicure. But when she said she couldn't wait any longer, the woman doing my pedicure said I was done after the owner spoke to her. I had to remind her I wanted a clear coat so she hastily put ONE messy coat on and said I was done. The owner put my feet in a parafin wax bag while I was sitting in the small waiting area after I repeatedly told her I didn't want one if it wasn't part of the "Deluxe Package". Mind you, it was part of the package during our two previous visits. Smh We drove out of our way to come here. Not coming back. They just saved us gas money and parking headaches. read more

This was my first time coming to see Leann and I'm so happy that I did! My partner and I were looking for a shop that was open on Sunday and lone behold Leann delivered! It's clear the shops clientele is so loyal because it's probably better to get an appointment--despite us being a walk in, we were given such a beautiful and warm welcome. SLOPPY work, LEANN has HORRENDOUS attitude ... I really didn't want to leave this review but after thinking about it more I just think I need to share my experience with Leann herself applying a full set for me/ the pedicures with my fiancé and I this past Monday 7/31. **PSA for those you want French nails-- she does not hand paint the white.She will just stick on white fake tips instead of the clear ones and have that be your white french tips and trim them. Idk if this is standard for many salons, but where I'm used to going, the white tips are always hand painted. I don't know why she did this because I showed her a photo I edited of what I was looking for and explained it was the THINNER white tips of French I was looking for. I even called in advance to ask if she was able to do thin white tips before coming. I was shocked when she cut down the white fake tips and said that was it. I attached the picture of what I showed her I wanted. You can be the judge if she did what one would call "thin" tips. My fiancé was with me so I didn't want to be a buzzkill and complain, because at this point I just wanted to get out of there after how rude she was being to me earlier-- which is why I put horrendous attitude in the above title. That all started after the beginning of the appt during my fiancé and i's pedicures. She thought he was SUCH a wonderful man and was praising how young he looks for his age (Asian don't raisin baby!!) so I was just having the greatest time hearing her rave about him--him and I are newly engaged and I'm just feeling so lucky and proud to be his girl. But right after he left--(he needed to go to the bank bc she told us all payments are Cash Only)--she quickly switched up her attitude. Suddenly her "You are so lucky to have him!" flattery turned to "He's definitely the polite one, I can tell you are the one to be angry." I was like....??? what...?? I was literally stunned to silence trying to figure out wait is she trying to diss me rn?? I took a minute then asked "Why do you say you think I am angry?" She chuckled and said "Ohhh because I can TELL. Because other people you know, they are easy, but you-- I can just tell." At this point I started to think Omg is she pissed about my toenail?? Because right before I got out of the pedicure chairs, I did say "Hey,do you think you could cut this toe a little shorter to look like the other toe? It's just kind of crooked right there". And that must've really sent her because she got hella defensive and said "No it's just from your eyes, you're looking from up there but here in front I see, it's not gonna look good." I replied with "Okay welllll Idk...do you think you could still cut it though? I'm sorry I just kind of want it to look like the other toe." (She cut them all shorter on the other nails I just wanted it to be even sorry idk). And so she cut it, I thanked her, and was like Omg yay it looks great!! after. I thought we were fine because I said thank you Im so happy and she said Very good! and we wrapped up a nice conversation after-- but as soon as my fiancé left she just went IN on me. So at this point I quieted my voice a little bit and just said, "Is it because I asked about the nail over there? Im sorry if that was too much I didnt mean to be demanding" :/ and she said "No no, no no, no need, thats okay thats okay." *5minutes later* Starts up personal insults again... I dont have the time to type out all the stuff she said to me but essentially she ever so subtly landed dig after dig on me, with my hands in her hand applying the acrylic. She became gradually more insulting and more unprofessional as the minutes went on, and it's annoying to see my hands turn out so sloppy because the very least she could've done was do a complete job on my nails while she relieves herself of her frustration and roasts me. I literally did not talk back at all and just replied with mostly Yes's and Mhms after because I just wanted my fiancé to get back already so we could leave. **In summary, logistics and price-wise info: - Cash Only facility -French nails are NOT handpainted -Deluxe pedicures $50 -Signature pedicures $60 (longer massage time and additional products put in the water/on your feet for moisturizing etc) -French full set is $60 -$10 for design on 2 nails, more $ for more nails, but she'll probably give you $5 off **In summary, results/customer service: -Worst I've ever had -Sloppy acrylic work, will lift off after 3 days -Acrylic won't be applied on entire nail surface -Nails will be tilted and uneven -Leann's will get petty the rest of the appointment if you want anything different than how she did it -Leann will personally insult you at her leisure -Insult duration time slightly less if bring your hot Asian fiancé **Advice: go anywhere else. Not worth it. You can find full set for $45-60 many other places in Alameda i.e. Alameda Nails, Me Nail Spa, Classy Nails, etc and better customer service for sure. read more

Meet the Manager: Leann T.

As a mother of 2 children, Leann knows what it means to truly care for the people she associates with. She came to America in 1991 and in less than 10 years, she opened Leann's Nails and it has been successful ever since. She understands the value of the dollar bill therefore she understands the quality and satisfaction that her costumers deserve. With English as her second language, it has been a struggle for her to get to where she is today, but she managed to open her own nail salon and keep it open for the last 15 years.

She's thorough and very knowledgeable about nail care to ensure my real nails still thrive under the acrylics and her pedicures are super relaxing. She's also in a private suite so you don't have to worry about other people being in an appointment with you which was an added bonus for me.

So when I moved back to the Bay Area, it was a struggle trying to find a black hairstylist who knows what they are doing. I would read every review, scroll every pic on their Instagram page and nothing! Then I stumbled across TTP Yelp page - excellent reviews and IG pics showing off their work didn't disappoint. I sent them a message via Yelp and Starr hit me back immediately. GIRLFRIENDS!!! ....My forever new stylist Starr is the TRUTH! Girlfriend has skills! My cut and color is on point and people are constantly stopping me and telling me how beautiful I look. She is the BEST!!!! I plan to dip my feet a little more in the cut and color world.... I went in on 4/11, texted her on 4/12. It was raining pretty hard so I was stuck at home not doing anything crazy to justify the chipping. It's now the 16th and crickets. I spent $150 ($50 deposit, $100 day of service) for gel nails that haven't even lasted as long as regular polish. Not to mention, when I arrived there were no instructions on how to get into the building. No signage. No way to communicate with her. I almost left until she texted me 7 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. I'm pregnant and I was out waiting in the rain as I had taken a Lyft there. I want my money back! I work hard for what I have and this is definitely not worth $150.

My grandma has been going to Leanne's for about 30 years. Recently, she's been ill, and it's getting harder for her to get around. She's in a wheelchair. On this particular day, it was storming. My grandma and I were getting our nails done, and afterward we planned to go get something to eat. My aunt dropped us off and was going to pick us up later at a restaurant about five blocks away. We told Leanne goodbye and that we were leaving, and she asked where my aunt was. I explained that we were meeting her later and that I was just going to push my grandmother--it was only five blocks, we had an umbrella, and it would be fine. Leanne immediately insisted on driving us herself. You can get your nails done anywhere, but the reality is that it's rare to find someone who is genuinely kind and truly cares about who you are as a person. Leanne does a great job, but more importantly, she's a great human being. She's worth your time. read more

When I first went to Leann's on my way to work I was in a hurry so I asked them if they could just change the colors for me and give me a lil massage in their chair--and they did! Then the next time I had time so I just let them do their thing, very carefully. With two girls, one did the manicure and the other the spa pedicure, completely from nail trimming to cuticles to buffing, then the gorgeous nail color and top coats. I just sat back and stayed on the massage chair for as long as I had time--till all my nails were dry.The girls there work quietly (without the noisy chatter) and I am all relaxed and happy when I leave. OK, I've been back again and again on Webster Street in Alameda, just beyond the tube from Oakland. Parking is good too--in the back. At $26 how can you beat that! I have been regularly visiting Leann's for about 4 months and my whole family comes...2 girls and my husband. Leann remembers what is going on in your life from the last visit so it is like spending an hour with friends with the benefit of getting a wonderful pedicure at the same time. My daughters love to go and are treated wonderfully by Leann and her team. I feel confident in the cleanliness of the tools and like that the salon is "Green" without toxins. My pedicures last and last and I don't need to touch up between my monthly visits. I would recommend this salon to anyone who is in the area and I always look forward to my next visit!! read more

The service was ok. They were extremely pushy for more expensive services and when I declined their quality of care seemed to reduce.They were extremely rough with my delicate feet. They have no signs anywhere in the shop but requested cash only and had issue when i didn't want to enter a dispensary to use their ATM. They then took my card anyways and used their card machine to pay for my pedicure but they were very rude about the whole thing. And it took a few minutes after knowing they took card for them to give in to letting me pay with card. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Excelent service. I went today after 6 pm and it was just two more ladys ahead of me. Lean told me to sit and put the massage onthe chair, it was soooo goood . I bring my own nail polish because i wasn't sure if they will have the silver that i wanted :-) and they kindly puted on me. Plus the massage on my feet. I get the manicure gel or how ever is call. LoL I love it. Every single thing they really care about the costumers and the good looking of the job. I will be back for sure. Came here because it's close and within walking distance to my place. Service was bad on many levels. I told the lady that I moved here recently from Oakland and then she took liberty to talk trash about several local businesses and their owners as though it was part of the service which made the vibe super negative. After bad mouthing several of the surrounding businesses she rushed the last half and my nails looked like I did them myself. I won't be coming back here. I have been going to Leann's Nails for 5 yrs.! Not only is it very convenient, since I had a stroke 8 yrs. ago but THEN and NOW the girls and of course Leann, have ALWAYS been so kind and helpful, between aiding me in and out of the chair, to giving me a great and thorough manicure and pedicure! If I've needed to go in for a touch up they readily have done so......if one has any comments...I feel that Leann would be most open about hearing about it at the time....she is VERY adamant about providing great service! this place is nice the lady is nice but the quality is terrible i special showed her a picture what i wanted and did the complete opposite not only that the way she painted the coatings are not even smooth looking it is bumpy and not even and towards the root of the nail is all over the place and messy over all. some of the finger nails aren't even the same damn shape! i am very upset with this outcome i did not say anything cause i felt bad but i WILL NOT GO BACK THIS PLACE EVEER AGAIN! read more

I've been coming to Leann's for many years now and I've never had a bad pedicure. Leanne anyways remembers my name and makes sure I have the massage chair running my entire visit. The nail technicians give good massages and make my toes look neat and pretty. The salon is very clean, and masks are always worn, which works for me. I'm literally sitting in the chair getting me pedicure and falling asleep while I'm getting them done. ( if I can tune out my friends voice whom keeps asking me questions....lol).
