As a step parent, I often see my views of stepping up as a parent differs from others. That being said my stepchildren have attended this school since they were small.one started at 18 months. The other at walking age. My fiance at the time was on assistance. Not once did she ever feel less than other parents. The kids learned So much before attending primary school that once they began We got many comments about how intelligent they were , my 10 year old stepson now is in gifted and talented as well as advanced math. It could not have been possible without learning tree day school, Mr.. Shah Miss Cathy among other teachers who did everything that they could good to give our kids the best step forward in life. As a parent it hurts to see someone so upset that they will make false accounts with friends, as well as communicate with neglectful parents, and post videos that are not even the schools classrooms(they have no full carpeting in any room, nor mirrors at child level). It's very concerning as a parent to see this, because if what has been claimed was so true, why are so many falsehoods attached? So strange. I would also like to let Mr. Shah know that there were witnesses to the parent who screamed and cussed at him for 25 minutes DURING a known naptime and while older students were walking down the halls for swim lessons and from what I saw she started recording after he cracked the door so the children didn't have to hear any more. We see you Mr. Shah and understand how everything happened. Sorry that this is happening! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, your understanding of my wife's struggles as a single parent are not unseen. I would like to also challenge any parent who honestly feels that the dueted videos were this school's to go tour them themselves. I know this school since my stepsons went through each room over time. My kids miss yall so much! And Miss Cathy! She was always extraordinary!!! Also a side note my kids are very challenging and Miss Lolly and Miss Becki were always there to console each transition. It is amazing to be able to entrust your children to people that so obviously love them. The best investment was the time they spent here. Thank you. read more

I will just start off saying, in my opinion, this daycare staff is always friendly and helpful to my family. I have not encounter any mistreating from the staff to my kids nor me. The after school program will pick up your child(ren) from school and when the child(ren) arrive to the school they will have a meal, which is different from the last daycare my kids attended. The teacher(s) have my kids do their homework and provide help if needed, GOOOOd Job Ms. U. The teachers are fair to all children (from what I have noticed). Learning Tree also have a preschool program and I have a daughter that attends, she likes it and her teacher is awesome. Her teacher also inform me on what they covered that day, what they are working on for that week, and how my daughter is doing in the class (if she is improving and what she needs to work on, things like that.) GOOOOD JOB, MS. P. The staff at the front desk always greet me when I am entering and when I am leaving, that lets me know that they are paying attention to who is coming and going. GRRRREAT JOB fronk desk. Also again great job to my children teachers. Sorry I can not speak on the other teachers and their classroom. With that being said, I would recommend this daycare because my kids like it. Also the summer program is great too. I told my sister to check this daycare out when she needed to use child care for my nephew and would also need my help once or twice a week in picking him up because of her school schedule. I had different foster children here over a several year period and really liked the experience. Although CPS caseworkers aren't allowed to recommend centers (they can only tell you which ones they won't let you put them at because of too many write-ups), my caseworkers always said how much they liked this center when they would drop in to do their visits with the kids. The Director when I was there before was Ms. Jackie and I have to say she was a much better manager than the current one but my nephew doesn't interact with the Director, just his teachers and they are wonderful !! I was also pleased that there are several teachers still there from before and although my nephew doesn't have them now, hopefully they will get him when he moves up. They still have Ms. Loll and Ms. Beckie up front and they are so friendly to the kids and helpful if we have any questions or concerns. I would not listen to bad reviews, go look for yourself because we are picky people and we have had no problems that weren't resolved at once. If you can keep myself, my sister and several CPS caseworkers happy, you are doing something right. It is always very clean which makes it so pleasant to be there and all our kids love their playground (they call it the park!). read more

Hello first of all I would like to say I am also a former employee from 2009 and still a current parent to 3 children that attend Learning Tree. My Kids LOVE their teachers, Ms. Samantha, Ms. Unis, and Ms. Lacey. They enjoy going to daycare everyday to see their teachers and fellow classmates and get sad when not able to. Like all daycares, they have their rules and if you don't abide by them, there are consequences, like the whole world!! But the director Anna Marie Rider is very up front about the expectations of the parents, the kids, and the teachers so there's no surprise. As far as back packs, they are allowed but must stay in the front, which is reasonable since space is limited. Learning Tree is a clean, happy, and a love able environment. The staff makes sure our kids are taken care of, and they communicate with the parents on a daily basis and they also express the awesome things are kids do, not just the negative things like most daycares. They also share the new things our kids are learning which makes me feel good to know our kids are actually learning and not just running around like wild hooligans all day. So I would recommend this daycare to anyone. So don't look at Anonymous' comments. Obviously she is an angry former employee trying to make a former employer look bad. Hey it happens. read more

My four year old has been attending Learning Tree Day School since he was eighteen months old-and he has learned so much and made so many friends! When he first started, he was behind in speech, but after a few short months he could already tell me his colors and shapes and knew several nursery rhymes by heart! Every teacher he has had has been very patient and understanding. They have been very open and honest with me about his behavior, progress, and development. I can tell that he is being well cared for and is not only a student, but a well-rounded and well-loved child. A few weeks ago, his teacher showed me how he could read all twenty-four "sight words". I was so proud! It brought me to tears and his teacher applauded his progress as well. :) I watched as he used scissors to cut an art project, and am so impressed by how his fin motor skills have flourished! He will be graduating from the school's Pre-K program next year, but I will, without a doubt, have my younger son continue to attend! It is wonderful having a place I trust where not only can my children be exceptionally cared for, but can learn and grow and have fun with their peers-and be more than prepared for the day they begin elementary school! I enrolled my son in The Learning Tree Day School when he was 22 months. In no time he started reciting his alphabets & numbers; started identifying the colors, shapes, pictures, and rhymes. He could do them in both English and Spanish. Looking for a daycare is not an easy task. The real challenge begins when you have to leave your child into a stranger's hand for 8 to 10 hours and make sure they are safe. I found The Learning Tree to be one such place with a highly experienced and reliable staff. Ms. Becky and Ms. Lolly are always watching out for the kids. They promptly use the webcam throughout the day and make sure that parents are being made aware of any odds. They make surprise visits to the classrooms and inspect the kids on a daily basis, especially if the child is sick. There is never any shortage of food to the kids.They make sure that all the teachers and class assistants are considerate towards a child's needs. I am glad I could find a spot for my son at this daycare and he sure has come a long way since then. I am very happy with the quality of care and service offered to us. I placed my grandchildren here and I have been happy ever since!!! My grandchildren have attended Learning Tree for 3 years. When my youngest grand child was ready for school his new kindergarden teacher asked me, "if he had some kind of tutor because he was advanced for his age," I told her it was Learning Tree Day School that had been working with him. This daycare belives in education and less TV. Everyday my grand-babies bring home work they have done for the day. The two women at the front desk Miss. Becky and Miss. Lolly are the nicest, and they really care about the children's wellbeing. The owner Mr. Shah truly cares for the children, he really goes out of his way to please the children and parents. He holds a gradation commencement ceremony each year for the children that are going into their first year of elementary school. Its literally just like a graduation. The kids take professional pictures in their cap and gown, and parents are invited to the ceremony as well. Mr. Shah is very transparent and honest with the parents. read more

My son has attended the Learning Tree for nearly three years now. There is definitely a reason why I have not taken him to another daycare. It is simply that the Learning Tree provides a warm, learning environment that my son has flourished in. The staff is down to earth and friendly, especially Mr. Shah and the lovely ladies at the front desk who always greet parents and their children by name. The staff takes the time to know every parent and each child on a personal level which truly makes a difference. My son truly loves it there! He loves his friends, teachers, and tells me the wonderful things he learns every day.There is never a day when he doesn't want to go. They provide healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack items, which is also a plus. Me and my daughter love this daycare! She started back in March of 2023 and it's been a wonderful experience. I've gotten to know the teachers and staff very well and I'm grateful to have a daycare like this one for my daughter. She loves the food that they serve for lunch and snacks and the portions are perfect for her age group (2-3 years old) Aside from that, the environment that the kids are around is amazing. The playground has many different activities for the kids to do and they have just about 3 of everything outside. In the classroom, there is a large variety of toys, and I've seen my daughter play with them all. there are also many books for them to read during story time. Mrs Catherine does a wonderful job at teaching my daughter her numbers and shapes. Overall, this daycare is amazing and my daughter has learned so much in the time she's been there. read more

I went to Learning Tree day school since I was 3 years old an I really enjoyed it and I was theire till 11 years old and now I'm a 18 my favorite there were the activities they were really fun and the field trips . Mrs. Jackie was the first owner and then Mr.Shah is the owner and has been so nice and he would always buy us things that fun activities for the after schoolers and now my younger sister goes there and she is 9 years old and all she talks is her friends and the field trips it's nice daycare they teachers are all kind Mrs. Tina was one of my favorite teachers but I loved all of the staff and Mrs.Becky and Mrs.Lolly was always there for us we never had issues with them and my dad is very comfortable to know that my sister is safe. read more

I want to begin by saying that my 4 children have been attending this facility for about two years I have never had an issue except recently my youngest child didnot want to go into class he would go into the facility running and then as soon as he reached his class room he would hesitate to go into his class, i spoke to a few of the staff memebers reguarding my concern and as of a few days ago everything is back to normal he loves his teacher and attends runs to his class without hesitating to go into class anymore.... as for my other 3 children which are older, they have been attending and have never complained about anything except they want more play time and less homework time but what kid doesnt complain about that....lol read more

Learning tree has been a mainstay in our family. My wife attended Learning tree and now our two sons are there and we've enjoyed watching them grow every step of the way. The front desk staff and management are an amazing team and it's hard to go wrong with two experienced "grandmas" running the day to day. Further, Mr. Shah is a fun and caring director who truly has all of the kids' best interests and well being at the forefront. We've had the opportunity to review other learning centers but Learning Tree has proved to be one of the most warm, welcoming and diverse centers in town not to mention affordability. Reading some of these other parents reviews saying all these bad things about this daycare just baffles me. my 2 boys have been coming here for 4 years now, (the longest I've had any of my kids at a daycare) as a single mom i receive ccs thru the workforce commission and have NEVER felt like the staff belittled me for it. even before I got ccs benefits, they're prices were the cheapest in town! since day 1 the staff has been so friendly and personable. they do so many fun activities with the kids, my boys have so much fun!i truly appreciate everything they do bcuz I know this kind of business cannot be easy to work in. I have 3 boys, all of whom have or still attend, my oldest being 9. I have nothing but good things to say about the owner and the staff, to include the teachers. As a parent of young boys.. I know that things happen, especially amongst toddlers. Given any situation that has occurred, I still never doubted or had serious concerns about the care that is provided here. My daughter and I had a very good experience at Learning Tree Day School. Although we couldn't be there for a long time since we had to move to a different state, we truly enjoyed our experience at this daycare. My daughter was in Mrs. Mary's class (the equivalent of Pre-K), and she showed so much improvement with the alphabet, colors, and shapes. I love learning tree!! My 15 year old son attended this day care from 18months until his 5th grade. My younger son attending Learning Tree at the moment. Learning Tree is like family, I would not trust my kids with any other day care. The pricing is reasonable, they provide extra activities during the week, and provide swimming lessons during the summer. But the best is that they provide education for the kids so they are not watching TV and playing all day long. The establishment is always clean! read more

I have my chidren enrolled at Learning Tree and they absolutely love it. During the summer they take field trips every week and because this facility has a pool on site they would go swimmingevery week as well. The staff is very friendly and courteous.
