If I can describe this food with one word I would say authentic and also delicious but that's two words. It reminds me of me being back home and Egypt the chicken and the beef the rice was just spot on portions were great and the tahini was also very tasteful. If you're looking for a place to cater your next event, you need to use Lebanese Eatery. So far, I have had two parties and ordered from the catering menu and my guests raved about the food. The presentation alone was incredible and everything was fresh and tasted amazing. For my first party, we had the mixed grill per person. It was perfectly packed and delivered as well. It came with rice, salad (with an amazing lemony dressing), hummus, baba ghanouj, bread tray, soda, baklava and various sauces for the grilled kababs. We ordered shawarmas from this place. The standard shawarma meat is lamb with beef. When we placed our order, we stated, "regular Shawarma sandwiches" and never even mentioned the word chicken, but they gave us chicken instead. We called them after we realized they screwed up our order and they lied and said that we ordered chicken which is totally false. They weren't willing to correct the order even if when we were willing to spend more money to correct the order. If they weren't sure, then they should have asked to confirm if we wanted chicken or lamb/beef. We know what we ordered and wouldn't waste our time writing this review if they weren't inconsiderate. They swapped out chicken for lamb/beef because it's cheaper for them to make and they can make a few more cents on each sandwich. We ended eating the chicken shawarmas that they imposed on us, and it was like eating slop sandwiches that were falling apart. They are rotten cheap, over-priced, rude, nasty and don't have any customers in the store, probably because they don't care about customers. read more

Decided to try this place based off of the reviews. Ordered a variety of grilled prepared meat a few days back; roughly 10lbs. Order was excellent, no complaints. Fast forward a few days later purchased the same order today; preparation was very sloppy, everything was randomly bunched together, food was extremely dry, burnt and very over cooked. Needless to say very dissapointed especially being the fact that it was a large purchase of food. I will be bringing my regular purchases back to Makkah Market; being that I never experienced such disappointment and there consistency is fabulous. read more

My husband and I picked the vegetarian mix tonight which included Hummus, Babaghanoush, Taboolie, Eggplant salad, and Yogurt cucumber salad (minty and refreshing); these were delicious. The definitely use authentic spices to make these. The Hummus was so good I have decided not longer to buy the store brand. We had the Chicken Shawarma combo with well-made lentil rice with fried onions (Moojarara, something like that) and potato samosas. We added a Kunafa dessert made of semolina and sweet cheese. omg!! Everything was so tasty and fresh and we were there around 5 30 pm, The cashier was a very nice young man and gave us hints on how to order the combo sides. The combo comes with rice and two sides, I am so please by the customer service and attentiveness. And Hubby and will be back again. The prices are very moderate and the food is top-notch. This little Lebanese restaurant is outstanding. When I say little (it has a total of 4 tables), and is in the back of the food market. Tonight we ordered babaganough. It was so good we ordered two. The kibbee balls were hot and tasty as were the grape leaves. The spinach pies were seasoned just right and we are ordering some for Christmas Eve. I have a middle astern background and let me tell you, I have eaten in many bad middle eastern restaurants, and this place is the worst. The chicken shawarma is dry and the meat smells. The chicken touk over salad is a great healthy option. Their burgers are fresh. They have a lot of middle eastern, albanian, and arabic products to choose from. Happy to have an authentic Middle Eastern takeout joint close by. The chicken kabob was perfectly seasoned and served in a pita with housemade pickles and veggies. I had some eggplant salad on the side and my socks were knocked off! It was very tasty and fresh. I also had some tabbouleh, which was also very good but could have used a touch more acid and tomato for my taste. Again, the freshness came through in everything I had. The falafel combo platter was plenty of food (6 falafels + 2 sides, salad and pita), the mini spinach pie was delicious, dolmas were wrapped tight and good flavor. The salad that comes with the combo platter was delicious - I thought I was going to just add the salad to my falafel pita but I ended up eating it on its own as well.
