When it comes to pizza, it's really tough to beat the absolute yumminess and delish that is Ledo's. I've mostly only ordered via phone or online and the quality has always been superb. They also have a decent selection of apps if you prefer a little something extra, however, the pizza is really enough to fill one up. Tonight, poor marks go to the employee on register at 6:40pm. After thinking my pickup order was mushroom (it was meat lovers), and thinking I had not paid (I had online), when I mentioned it was an online order, everything clicked for her. She printed out the receipt, grabbed the box, flipped it open and said, "Next time, say it's an online order and you'll get it faster." It was said with attitude with no "thank you," "come again," or anything. So, the tip is noted but perhaps if that makes a difference, ask the patron if the order was phoned in or made online? read more

My pizza is always cold when I get home and I only live 1 mile away. Maybe it's because they don't have a heat lamp and it's just sitting on the counter when you get there within five minutes of it being ready and then they open the box and let all the heat out. I'm gonna start ordering elsewhere because cold pizza is like a cold McDonald's hamburger it just doesn't taste good. So I don't know if they think when we order we expect cold pizza by the time we get home but it's definitely not what I'm looking for nor does it taste that good cold. horrible service, burnt food, and a screw in the food! I went and bought a large pizza and the lady who answered the phone was fairly rude. When I arrived, the pizza was burnt and presumably the same lady was fairly rude when picking it up. Later when eating a slice at my friend's house, I found a screw (LITERALLY) inside the pizza!!! My family loves Ledos pizza and my mom has eaten there since when their first restaurant opened. My wife and I ordered a barbecue chicken pizza for lunch today. I went and picked it up and my wife noticed something different, but we dug in anyway because we were hungry. Then we figured out what was missing "no bacon" my wife called to make sure I did not order the wrong thing. Typical wife move, but the young lady tried to tell her, I asked for "no bacon " sorry, wrong family, we love bacon. We did not want another pizza, my wife wanted to make sure I did not place the wrong order, which is what wife's do. The  young lady became very defensive and argumentative with my wife. Saying she took the order and I ordered it with no bacon, when I absolutely did not! Ledo Pizza is by far one of the best Tasting pizza joints I have found in Maryland to date. You can tell that quality cheese in the right combinations are used, and that is what makes a pizza truly great besides the crust and sauce lol. I've worked a pizza maker in several independent pizza joints which were excellent as well and I can certainly say Ledo Pizza ranks high on my life of favorite pizzas. As for the Columbia location, it's fairly small. I haven't been on a busy night so I'm not sure if the seating is adequate for the customer base but the one thing that bothers me about the small space is the central location of the restrooms. The rest room doors open within a few feet of the tables and are fairly close to all tables. One of my biggest irks is being seated next to a restroom. We all go to the bathroom so I have no issues with that but I don't want to be blasted by unpleasant smells as I eat. Another thing about the restrooms are that they are also located close to the kitchen. I don't want the restroom and the kitchen mingling (not saying this is what's happening at Ledo Pizza I just don't like the thought of it). I understand that Ledo Pizza is limited as to what they can do in this respect. I haven't ordered from this location so I can't speak to the pizza that is delivered. I will be a repeat customer. My sister and I walked in at 9:35 , we were greeted by a not so friendly staff. We had three hungry little kids that just had to have ledos, we the girl behind the counter asked if we wanted the meal to go we said no , she then proceeded to look at the server on and he responded that they were closing in 20 mins . My sister asked him what does that mean? He said well the kitchen will be closed soon. It was a horrible experience. Whoever owns this franchise should really train their staff in customer service. I received better treatment at Mcdonalds . The mgr then proceeded to tell his employee he wasn't wrong and that he didn't refuse us service but now he was because he was done with this conversation, just to add the website says they close at 11. So we had a party at Skyzone then did pizza and cake here at Ledos. As soon as we walked in they said to us we typically don't do big parties we were like okay we understand but we are here will you serve us ADEI said yes but there will be a 30% gratuity fee. We weren't happy but it was my grand babies 5th birthday and we had at least 15 people with us most were hungry children so we decided to stay. The service was HORRIBLE I mean the absolute worse. Most times of good customer service is provided you can kind of overlook the lack of service such as forgetting our drinks or our pizza etc but everything was horrible well not the food the food was good when we finally got it. ADEI forgot many items. Drinks, someone individually ordered a separate pizza she totally forgot that. It took forever to get drinks when we needed refills the way she talked to us was rude whenever we would ask other servers passing by for a refill or a straw ADEI would come back to our table and say IM THE ONLY ONE TO SERVE YOU. I mean she was just rude and nasty for no reason. We will never return here also if someone ie: an adult that wanted something different from what we were ordering for the party they were also charged 30% gratuity on their bill this lady DIDNT DESERVE that much gratuity. Not a big fan of thin crust. I usually get customized stuffed crust from other local joints or pan pizza. Bertucci's was pretty good but prices were out there. My first time having Ledo's pizza was when I was 18 but I was too drugged up to really enjoy the pizza until recently. My brother brought home 3 different kinds of pizza, all leftovers from church. I saw the thin crust and waved the pizzas away. My brother told me "Dude, just take 1 bite and you won't stop". So knowing my brother and I have similar tastes, and good tastes too, :) I decided to take a bite. Mmmmm....... It was good. So I took another. Then another. Then another. And there were a total of 24 slices from the 3 pizzas combined. When I was done eating, there were 4 slices left. And I already ate about an hour BEFORE the pizzas came. Ledo's pizza does thin crust justice. This is the thin crust that I just started to love because of Ledo's. And even though it's a chain restaurant, I have to give them props for making thin crust likable. read more

People that complain about Ledo Pizza annoy me. It's like complaining about Buffalo Wings in Buffalo or Philly Cheesesteaks in Philly. I realize we're in HoCo but please try to respect a Maryland tradition! If you don't get that it's good that's perfectly fine, but we locals like it and don't appreciate the hate. Not every kind of pizza is for everyone, so I can understand that some people do not like Ledo's. However, I cannot understand the vitriol. In my opinion, Ledo's makes good food a good prices. If you are a fu-fu pizza snob or hecks bent on Neapolitan, it's not for you. However, if slightly different is find with you, then it is something new to try. Hello Rob Beall,  I am writing to express my concerns with the Ledo's restaurant in Columbia, Maryland. On August 15th, a party of 13 people (3 adults and 10 children) attempted to dine-in and the manager stated that he could not take parties of 12 or more. We then suggested to split into either groups of 2 or 3 and we were told no!!! The manager's response was that we could not split up because we came in as a group. This response made no sense especially when a white family of 6 came in and were seated right away! Also, on top of feeling mistreated, we were asked to leave the restaurant! As you can imagine, we are very frustrated and felt this was totally unacceptable! Let me start out by saying that I am a HUGE fan of Ledos but this particular location ranks as the WORST location I have ever been too. Unfortunately this rating has absolutely nothing to do with the food. The food here is always on-point. This review has 100% to do with the employees and their lack of customer service. Every single time I go to this place the employees are rude and unaccommodating. The owners need to look in to hiring people who excel in customer service because after all those are the people who keep your business alive. One thing that I will immediately agree on with the previous Yelpers is the abundant use of oil on their pizzas; using a napkin to soak up good amount of oil is never a good look. Once that was taken care of, the pizza (Pepperoni) wasn't that bad. I stopped by Ledo's Pizza for the first time during lunch, which I might add was busy with patrons. Once you go in, there's the front counter where you can order take-out. On the side going towards the back, there are sit-down tables for waiter service. I'm pretty confident that Ledo's gets a steady amount of customers being in the Columbia area. I know Ledo's is known for their pizza; I just wasn't digging the pizza here as much as I would have liked. Was the pizza at Ledo's the best I ever had (best I ever had)? Absolutely not. My husband and I were out in the Columbia area one day and hunting for new places to eat. We were in the mood for pizza and Ledo came up among the results, compared to other offerings, it looked good, so we thought we'd give it a try. I'm so glad we did! This is probably one of my favorite pizzas. The pizza sauce is a little different, kind of sweet. They actually sell it by the jar if you want it. It's definitely real cheese, so it's super stretchy & delicious. The crust is a bit of a cracker-like texture and I really like it compared to commercially owned pizza places. My one and only complaint is that some of the toppings are meh. The ham is wonderful, but we tried ham & mushrooms today and the mushrooms were literally just sliced mushrooms from the can and put on a little late in the cooking process. The only other food offering I've managed to try are the Ledo breadsticks, which are cheap ($1.99 for 3 sticks, I think) but wonderful. Served with a side of that sweet Ledo sauce too! I'd love to try other menu items, but we're not out in this area all the time and I can't pull myself away from the pizza to try something new. Service is usually seat yourself, and the waitresses come ASAP. All I've seen are middle aged ladies, but all very attentive and sweet. Take out is quick and easy too. Good prices all around as well. They have an eclub you can join for coupons too. read more

Today was my first time at Ledos. I had heard it was good, it was a rainy day, and in the middle of errands thought I'd take my young son in for a slice. (They actually don't serve pizza by the slice - strike one). We walked in, and there was a counter directly in front of the door and a sign off to the right that said, "Please seat yourself". So I ordered a pizza, paid, and started to walk to the right to go sit down with my son. Out of nowhere an employee barked at me in a rude way, that we could not sit down because we just ordered from the pick up counter. She was like the pizza bouncer. I told her, "We came here to sit down." Still they wouldn't seat us. So we sat and ate our pizza in the entry way by the front door, since they wouldn't give us a table. I love ledos and this is the only reason this review is getting stars as opposed to one. I called in at 9:30 on Wednesday May 6th and asked the gentleman on the phone if we could put in an order of pizza so that when we got there it would be ready. I've worked in the restaurant business for years and I know closing time is when everyone wants to get out. Knowing this you figure the employees would be happy to make the food when I called so we could quickly eat and get out of their hair, right? Nope. So wrong. The man on the phone said two words. Absolutely not. Never in my entire life have I ever heard a host at a restaurant say "absolutely not." If ledos is looking for quality employees fire this man. My girlfriend and I had been looking forward to ledos all day and this man completely turned us away. In his defense he proceeded to tell me carry out is carry out, not for dining in. I have been to numerous restaurants less casual than Ledos that let me do that. Smh so hard at that employee for turning us down. read more

Worst service I've ever received at any restaurant... First of all, I was told to take my party to Grotto's because they didn't like to accommodate groups of people. Hmm... then (very rudely) they added that they'd also charge 30% gratuity, which would've been totally fine except the service staff did NOTHING besides bringing out a couple pitchers and our 2 pizzas. We EVEN bussed our own tables. I definitely won't be going back to this location... Maybe I'll take them up on their recommendation and spend our money at Grotto's. Ledo pizza is amazing! I love the that they cut the pizza into little squares and you can get some with no crust! We order Ledo's pizza whenever we feel that we have exercised enough to indulge a little. I have to be honest and say even though we live essentially around the corner, we have never eaten in, we always order a pie (or sub) to go. My husband like the supreme, or ultimate, or whatever it's called that has all the meat on it. I have to say I like it a lot too even though it's really not up my alley. They have an option of pre-cooked bacon on it which cuts down on the grease and is a nice option. They also show you your pizza before you pay for it which is also a nice little service. That way everyone's time/money is saved if something is wrong you find out before you leave the shop. We've also ordered some subs, mostly chicken parm, but nothing really beats the pizza here. read more

I walked in to get something to eat, to take my mind off the searing pain of a surgery I just had elsewhere in the same strip-mall. The guy at the counter seemed nice enough, explaining the menu items, and I said this was my first time at a Ledo's and I didn't know anything about how to order there, so I was glad to have him guide me through. After I ordered a personal pizza, assuming I could sit down at the table and eat it, I tried sitting down and the waitress came over to take my order. These booth seats didn't look any more like a sit-down restaurant than any other pizzeria, so how was I to know that you aren't allowed to sit down if you order from where I had just got done ordering my pizza. I asked why they had this policy and she told me that people who order in the front of the pizzeria, like you would do at most other pizzerias, aren't allowed to sit down because they are probably not going to tip, where as if you order at the table (which I had no idea I could do) that you would probably tip with the payment, so that pays for the waitress, so you get to sit down. There was a three person wide bench for people to wait for orders, and I was told I could eat there, if I didn't want to go out into the snowy cold, and I kept thinking to myself: "Why didn't they just offer to let me carry my own pizza over there and not have a waitress, or offer to pay some kind of surcharge to make up for the tip? If I bust out some paper money and stuffed it under a salt shaker, right then and there, would I not get tossed the hell out of the pizzeria? About once a year, for the past three years, I've been in a Ledo's, so to say I've never been there would be a lie, but I'm not there enough to be familiar and the other TWO Ledo's I've been to did not do this to me and also did not have a waitress hovering around, if I remember correctly. I'll never go to this Ledo's again, and the only reason they don't have one star is that the guy at the counter seemed nice enough, and other than throwing me out, the waitress was pleasant. The only thing I didn't like about my experience at Ledo's was that the carpeting was littered with little bits of trash, on the evening that I ate there. Other than that, the service from our waitress Nina, was efficient and courteous and the pizza was tasty. Ledo's cranks out a decent pie - square, thin, crisp around the edges, fresh toppings, a slighly sweet tomato sauce. The cheese is neither oily nor rubbery and there are ample toppings to choose from. Other than pizzas, this restaurant serves up pasta, salad & sandwiches. The price is just right and it's a good place to take a hungry family. read more
