This place was recommended while we're were traveling in the area for a few days. They were having kids night so we decided to check it out - since it was close to our hotel and we have our they're kids with us. The service was excellent the pizza is awesome- different from your average pizza place and they had a balloon artist there that our kids thought was awesome. The place is Very family friendly and we definitely will go back if we're in the area again. The pricing was affordable too - especially because places in this area are more expensive than we're used to at home. This by far is the best Ledos in the area. My boyfriend and I have eaten here twice in the past month. We always dine in. We get a medium deluxe pizza. We love it from this location. Normally when we get this pizza from different locations it's so greasy and not crispy at all. When we have ordered it here both times it was crispy and not greasy. Toppings loaded on! The wings are amazing. Crispy and the blue cheese is great! We drive from laurel to Columbia just for this Ledos even though there is a Ledos in laurel. read more

Horrible experience. I will never patronize Ledo's pizza especially this one. I had the same experience as another reviewer. We had a party and while there was room in the restaurant which was filled with white patrons I was told that they couldn't accommodate our party. I used the concept of basic math and suggested to do separate tables and checks( which was doable) and was told no that cheating the system. Please keep in mind that I walked in with one other adult a teenager and a four-year old who wanted pizza for her birthday. I was basically told I wasn't gonna get served and that I had to leave. They say they don't cut corners but the did on my pizza . no corners on my pizza they were rounded . not enough sause some slices had none . plenty of mushrooms , not much sausage . whoever made this was in a hurry and it was not as good as the usual Lido pizza I have been eating for years. I love this pizza for take-out. As someone else mentioned, it's much better than the chains around here, namely Pizza Hut and Papa John's. I'm not usually a fan of thin crust pizzas but the flavor otherwise and cheesiness makes it worth it. Glad we live within ten minutes of this location. Not fond of the service. Had two tables with one family where the waitress took orders at one table and forgot about us sitting right behind them. My boyfriend had eagerly asked if we could order more food. We were as nice as possible and said it was no problem, I'm sure she was new or nervous for a table of 8. At the end of the stay she didn't even clean up her own plates but instead extended an arm and pinched her fingers not even asking "may I pick up your dishes or are you done?" I am a waitress myself and found this very rude. Ask for the plates or do your job. We are happy to help. read more

Other than the difficult-to-find location this is a good little family restaurant. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The pizza is perfectly good and made with fresh, tasty ingredients and is not particularly greasy or oily. It's not a $$$$ gourmet bistro pie, and you can't get lobster or brie on it, but for the money what can you expect? Either way it blows the doors off of any delivery pizza. Also of note are the crispy salads. My personal favorite is the Buffalo Chicken Salad. This location serves it with very generous quantities of bleu cheese and sauce conveniently on the side, so you can make it as mild or wild as you like. read more

I've eaten ONCE at Ledo Pizza, and that was only because of hearing about it on the radio station every day. I figured what the heck, I'll give it a try. The pizza was edible, but probably ranks down there with some of the worst pizza's I've eaten. I don't care for Little Caesars pizza either, but I think that tastes better. My advice if you want a really good pizza, stay away from the pizza chain stores and find a nice mom and pop pizza shop, they know how to make a pizza. read more

This is my favorite pizza in the world! Great customer service, especially this location. We get Ledos all the time! The only thing to watch out for is- their website, google, AND yelp says that this location is open until 11, THEY CLOSE AT 10! This was just super upsetting, my boyfriend and I were going to go here as a date after being apart at different colleges for two months!! Ledo's pizza is the pizza that all others are judged by. Like Aaron above, you can tell a local by their preference for Ledo's (of course, his distatse just shows you that outsiders wouldn't know a good meal if it hit them in the face ;). This isn't your standard pizza: the cheese is a mixture of mozzarella and provolone and the sauce is considerably more sweet than your average pizza sauce. From one location in Adelphi when I was a kid, this has blossomed into a booming local business (thank god there is one close to the house). Don't let the Maryland hater's fool you. I love Ledo's food (especially the pizza), but I don't like this location. They could do a better job of being friendly to customers. I was there a week ago, and the young lady at the counter was quite aloof toward me and my family. There were 8 of us who came in to place about four separate carry-out orders, of which two were incorrect. Imagine if we'd have had one large order. I would have been more tolerant of a mistake had I been treated with more kindness. I should have checked before I left. Good pizza and it's easy to order and pick up. We order two pizzas to and ended up having plenty left over and had some for lunch the next two days. We have been visiting Ledo Pizza for the past 6 years. This is one of our favorite place. We love Buffalo wings and the Buffalo chicken pizza... I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a better pizza than DOminos, Pizzza hut or any regular chain. But the employees can be more cautious. Especially we have been to this place for more than 5 years and not once they manager or anyone cared to greet or treat us as their regular customer. Also looks like the franchise changed or something, the customer service is bad in the past 1 1/2 year. 1 star because I love Ledo Pizza but this particular location has some issues. Recently I tried to place an order on the phone but the woman who picked up said if I didn't give her my real name, she wouldn't take my order. My name is really Ulysses, and I asked if she wanted to see my license when I went to go pick it up. She hung up on me. Called back and spoke to a manager to get it sorted out but it was still annoying. Tonight, I spoke to (I think) the same woman on the phone and tried to order a pizza and a cheese steak sub. I asked about the two different types of cheese steaks they had and she walked me through the differences, and I went with the South Street version. When my dad went to go pick up the order 15 minutes later, she told him that she only had the pizza on the order, and there was no sandwich. Ledo Pizza is probably my favorite type of pizza and I've grown up eating it, but I can't recommend anyone going to this one. I went to this location with a group of my family. I was told they couldn't seat us even though we offered to divide up. Per Lindsey, their policy states they can only seat groups of 12. They have twelve booths, I don't see the difference in seating twelve individual tables vs a party of 12. Lindsay suggested after speaking with Kevin the owner that we go to Wegmans instead. So, the reviews for this Ledos Pizza were a bit mixed, but we were hungry and had a hankering for Ledos Pizza. (If you are from the Baltimore/DC area you know what I mean.) Ledos Pizza ate individually franchised, so it is hit or miss depending on the owner. This Ledos was excellent. We went in around 7:00 pm on a Saturday and was seated at a table right away. The waitress was very attentive and our order came out right away. Wings (which were fantastic!) salad and pizza. All served in a timely manner (which was good because we had our 4 young boys with us). The waitress gave everyone in our family individual Oreo packages and mints at the end of our meal. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! I arrived there after leaving sky zone for my son's party. I arrived with six boys. The waitress was obnoxious and condescending. When I confronted her about it, she apologized and I thought I would have a better night after that. About 5 minutes later, my wife decided to take a picture of the kids at the table. A very old Caucasian lady, who claimed she was the owner, said to my wife "I need everyone to have a seat"... WTF... that's when I had enough of the horrible customer service, confronted the old Caucasian lady about the service and she started to raise her voice at me. I told my entire party to get up and leave, I'll spend my money someplace else. I politely left the restaurant and went to another Ledos establishment. My wife was under the impression that there was some racism going on since we are African American but I sincerely hope this was not the case. The restaurant has some of the best service I have ever had. I always order a mushroom pizza to share with my 3 year old. It comes out perfect. The crust is perfect- not too crunchy and not soft. Just right. My 13 year old son gets a meat lover calzone. They always custom make it with the meats he wants. Great food and great service. Highly recommended- never a bad experience in the past 19 years that we have been going there. My dad has been going since 1955 (Adelphi location). Lifelong fans! read more

I'm in a wheelchair and decided to roll up the hill on the sidewalk to order a pizza to take home. When I got to the top of the stairs I was blocked by a set of stairs and no curb cut to the sidewalk. I was stuck 4 yards from the front door. I called to ask them to bring me a pizza to the bottom of the steps. After being disconnected and waiting they said they would see if anyone was willing to come out. Hard to go wrong with Ledo's My husband and I are big fans of Ledo's! The food is good, the servers are friendly, and even though it's a small place, a wait is usually not very long (10 - 15 minutes) thanks to their quick service. When ever I come home and am not in the mood to cook, this is my go-to place. The only drawback is the location is small, so don't come with any big groups. I heard all the raves about Ledos pizza, so I came out into the snowy weather and ordered pizza. I wish they would just let you eat there without a waitstaff. It was really good actually, I loved the sauce, the meat was plenty (thick pepperoni and sausages) and the crust was good. I feel bad for the previous two yelpers, they didnt have a good experience like I had. I do have one complain. The Veggie pizza was bland and costs 8-9 dollars! Their rectangle, thin crust pizzas are really good - If you have never tried them, it is a must! Their prices are reasonable and the pies taste good. Different from Dominos, Pizza Hut, and Papa Johns; these pizzas are not my favorite, but are definitely worth trying if you have never had them before. The small squares are great for everyone since kids can eat small portions and adults can just stack on more squares. I always get to go, so I am not familiar with their dining room. read more
