My order was placed at 5:57pm, and the estimated pickup time was 6:27. I arrived to pick up my order at 6:30 and was told it wasn't ready and it would be another 15-20. That's fine. They said they had my number and would call me when it was ready, as I was just outside in my car. I sat in my car waiting for 70 minutes before going back in and asking again where my food was. It had been sitting on the counter for who knows how long, the kid said it had been ready for "a while" and they forgot to call. No offers for a discount or refund or free item or nothing to at least try and resolve the frustration. When I got home, the pizza was of course cold. The food was good but the service was lousy. One man who just walked around talking on the phone. There was no one else in the restaurant yet I had to find him and ask if we order at the counter or was he taking orders. We ordered and he tried to talk us into a bigger pizza. Never came to check on us. Never got a check. Asked for container for our salads and was given 2 bottom, 1 top. He tried to tell us we got 2 tops, as if that top costs a bunch of money. $32 for an 8" pizza, 2 salads and 2 drinks tells me he can afford to give that lid. Every time I order from here it's a problem & when you address it you get nothing but attitude. Last nite I ordered a pizza & spaghetti with meatballs. Got my order got in my car and checked no meatballs. Went back in informed him I had no meatballs he said very smartly you got what you ordered. I went and got my receipt and it clearly said spaghetti with meatballs. He sat the pasta down went in the back came back with another container with meatballs and sauce with two pieces of shredded cheese on top and handed it to me. No apology or anything. We got a personal Hawaiian pizza and a medium white Italian pizza. The personal size was perfect for one person. I really enjoyed the sauce on the Hawaiian pizza. The crusts was thin and crispy and you could tell it was handmade. The white Italian pizza did not interest me. It tasted fine but wasn't anything worthwhile in my opinion. read more

This place was great. We've been in OwingsMills/Reisterstown for over 10 years but have never tried here, until last night. The food here was really good. The fried shrimp were excellent. The wings were yummy and HUGE! I also liked the pizza, the marinara sauce is really good, flavorful. I just wish they had calamari and regular bruschetta or chicken bruschetta. Also wish they had pizza by the slices but a small pizza is only $5.99. Prices are reasonable. Our waiter was Reza, the owner. He was wonderful. Place was absolutely dead inside on a Monday evening around 7pm. Looked like 10 tables seated. No bad weather outside. I guess most of their business is Carry-Out. Which if you're able to understand a person with a thick accent on the telephone, you might not mind. Against our better judgement, we ordered Carry-Out. It went like this: Asked for Pizza "Lightly Done" and it came out well done. Ordered a Calzone/Stromboli that too came out well done and cooked more to our liking. And I can only imagine due to the language barrier, it was made incorrectly. It was fixed promptly however our pizza got cold while waiting. Either the oven needs Calibrated or the cooks just don't care. Or the employee(s) out front need to learn to communicate better... Lastly, I observed one of the employees in the kitchen without a hat or hairnet and handling food baked or cooked in the oven with bare hands. The employee would frequently wipe his hands on a dry cloth stored on a make table. I thought that was a bit strange and it definetly turned me off. All that said, I won't be rushing back to Ledo Pizza in Pikesville. I didn't get a good vibe from this place. Customer service and wait time is terrible. Went last night on a 1st date because we were both in the mood for pizza. We seated ourselves. As we walked in we saw that it was about 20-30 people in there (Caucasian). We were the only black people in there which didn't bother me at all. Thought I posted a review for this Ledo a while ago. I guess I go to so many different ones that I have lost track. This location is pretty close to my house so its probably the one I frequent the most. They are usually fast when I need a carry out, I call and get there in about fifteen minutes to pick up my order. I never have to wait much longer than that. The staff is always friendly and polite. They will let you take a look at your pizza before you leave to ensure its to you liking. They are generous when you ask for crushed red pepper or parmesan cheese. Lobby is always clean and they have a bar if you need a night cap while you wait for your food or dinning in. Price is the same as any other Ledo and competitive with other carry outs. I wish they delivered sometimes but its not much of a hassle getting there. I love the pizza and haven't had a bad experience here so I will keep coming back. read more

Have been a fan of Ledo's pizza in the past. When I needed pasta in a hurry for a crowd recently, I ordered 2 pans from Ledo's since it was nearby and they promised it would be ready in 20 minutes. When my son-in-law went to pick it up, it was nowhere near ready. For $91 dollars we got 2 pans of sauce from a jar and pasta from a bag. I could have done that myself in less time. The one pan that was supposed to have chicken had very little of it. There were no additional seasonings and no cheese. When I called to express my total disappointment to the manager, he was aware of the situation and apologized. He said he would talk to the owner and get back to me within the week. I work nearby, so this particular location is convenient for me. However, the food is hit or miss. Last week I got a southwest cheese steak (the Philly kind), which was pretty good. Today, I got a chicken parm entree, which leaves lots to be desired. The tomato sauce is pretty basic & plain, not very flavorful. The pasta is far from al dente...it's almost mushy, and it doesn't taste like the water is seasoned (salted) when they cook it. In addition, the pasta was not drained enough after dropping it back in the water, so the bottom of my to-go container has a little puddle of water going on. The chicken breast, which should still have some crispy texture to it after being breaded & fried, is water-logged due to the aforementioned water-logged pasta. Not exactly what I would expect for an "Italian" place. I have yet to try their pizza/calzones/stromboli items....but I hope the sauce is better on those. read more

I was at work craving for a cheese steak and one of my co workers suggested to look at Ledo's menu and see if they had it. I was so excited when I saw steak and cheese glowing off of my computer monitor! They didn't have an option to order online at this location so I called it in and went to pick it up 10-15 minutes later. I ate the sub and to my disappointment the meat was so dry and the sub was a bit smaller than some subs I've had before. I really didn't like how the tomatoes were round ones that were chopped up because it made the whole sandwich messy and fall apart. I was pretty upset the way my lunch came out. We're treated like visiting royalty every time we eat out here. The owners are increadibly friendly. They've taken time to get to know our family. The food is comparable to any other Ledos I've eaten at (which is AWESOME by the way). The place is clean, well staffed, and bright. The pizza is great, as are many of the other menu selections. I've been to a few Ledo's before, so I thought I knew what to expect here. I was wrong. This is by far the smallest Ledo's I've been to, and it seems they do most of their business by carry-out. The place looked a bit run-down. The TV behind the bar was tuned into the SyFy Channel with the volume on. My wife and I sat at the bar, and when I tried to order from one of the four visible taps, I was told they were "out of tap beer." The shelves are stocked with many, many duplicate bottles of wine (not the best way to store that...) and liquor, looking very odd. I ordered the Chicken Parm, which came out amazingly burnt on the top and soggy on the bottom, with a sorry amount of chicken. My wife ordered the Italian salad, which came with a measly two slices of meat and suspiciously dry lettuce. Both of these items were around $8, and for the quality, they were both horribly overpriced. Service was sparse. The bartender was never behind the bar for more than a minute at a time and was frequently nowhere to be seen when we needed him. A waitress was sitting at a nearby table playing on her phone, and when she got up from the table, she left her phone there, which rang at high volume. Come to think of it, there was a young boy waiting with his mother for their carry-out order who ran behind the bar more times than we ever saw the bartender. I'm a big fan of the Ledo's chain, and though I can't speak for how the pizza is at this location, I can assure you that I won't be returning. read more

I've been eating at Ledo's for decades. I ordered a pepperoni pizza (to go). When I got into my car, I saw that the pepperoni were two, thin slices of pepperoni rather than the normal/standard thick cut of pepperoni. Did Ledo's change their recipe/ingredients? Or is this location cheap? Or lazy? If Ledo's changed their recipe, that's too bad ... I sha'n't be visiting them again. But if THIS LOCATION is too cheap to provide the chain-standard type of pepperoni ... or if they ran out of the proper type of pepperoni and were too lazy to find it somewhere ... or to put MORE than enough slices (rather than LESS than enough slices) in order to compensate ... then SHAME ON THEM. I've come here before and it's always been an issue with the staff. They're slow and possibly on drugs. The most recent time that I was here with a friend the waiter was brand new. When we asked to do half and half of two different specialty pizzas he told us it was okay, but came back 5 minutes later and told us it wasn't. We were very specific about wanting our pizza Bianca (white pizza) without tomatoes. We waited over an hour for two 8" pizzas and buffalo chicken cheese fries. We watched other people get their food who were seated after us. We complained to one of the other waiters that this wait was ridiculous. Finally, when we got our food we asked for plates and our waiter said he would bring clean ones out and never did. We ate without plates for the remainder of the meal. Once we finally got the check we were so ready and annoyed to leave and we just threw down our credit cards without reading the bill. The charged us for an extra 8" pizza that we didn't order. Then we told one of the other waiters and he said he could cancel it out, but ended up charging the credit cards 3 times. They told us we could only get a cash refund and we would have to pay for the pizza. It was a horrible experience and I would never go back to this location. The food was good, but everything about this location made me never want to step foot in there again. The salads have always been very fresh, which maybe isn't typical. The owner aims to please every time. And he also makes great alcoholic drinks. I came here for dinner with my family on a scorching summer day. Little did I know they're having AC issues and they're using only ceiling fans to cool down the entire restaurant. The shades right next to the table we're sitting at is are also broken so I can't even get the sun away from me. I'm practically sweating here just waiting for my food. They really need to put a sign on the front door to warn customers before they sit down to eat. To put things over the top, there's a loud screaming baby that is driving us crazy. EDIT: our waiter brought my parents' food out, only to announce that they messed my pizza up and it'll be another few minutes. He offered to discount my order, which was expected, but then we noticed that they forgot to put dressing on our side salad and we had to send that back as well! I am giving this 3 stars only because I used to love the food here and it once made my stomach very happy. But I cannot say this is true anymore. I visited Ledos on Sunday and it was a really different experience than in the past. I used to get the cheese fries with bacon and pizza with black olives and bacon. I would tell everyone how amazing the food was and I named it one of my favorite pizzerias. Now that I don't eat bacon anymore, I got regular cheese fries and a pizza with black olives and broccoli. I don't know what happened to the pizza but it was not like it used to be. The dough was not as good, the cheese was all over the place, and it really just felt like a chore to eat. The fries were also pretty below average. I used to eat them at lightning speed, but this time I didn't really want to eat them. I will say though that the side Caesar salad was pretty good! Overall, I wish they would change the dough back because I think that's what made it really special and now it's just boring and average. read more

My first experience I had to look past the bad customer service on the phone, I ordered a spinach and tomato pizza and a order of wings for dinner, the pizza was so delicious and it still tasted great the next day! I was so hooked I ordered the lunch version the following week, the pizza was still amazing, however the chicken was over cooked and tasted like it was fried in old grease!!!
