We had Ledo's pizza many years ago and it was fantastic. We just ordered their pizza and it was not like the prior pie. It seemed flat and somewhat bland. Also, when we picked up the pizza the price was more than advertised on the website. They had jacked up their prices without informing the public. Bad business practices. read more

Ledos has not disappointed. I've been coming here since I was a kid and we moved back into town at the start of Covid and throughout they have been great food great service and always do their best to exceed and they succeed. Love the pizza obviously but I love the cheesy garlic bread and the Italian beef combo is fantastic. Highly recommend for a great pizza and movie night either alone or with friends. read more

Obviously they have had complaints about the front of house people's bad attitudes. Went here again with a big group as it's convenient for a lot of people with kids and again with a friend. lost a customer of 20 years...the rare time I decided to pick up tonight there was chaos. I moved from pick up line to order line because of one cashier working. I paid for my Pizza and was told it would be ready in a minute. 10 minutes later, which wasn't a big deal, the Pizza came out. They said here is your pizza, I said we also ordered wings and a salad...then I was told that would take 10 minutes. Admittedly I was upset, the manager decided to get involved. Instead of cooling me down he wanted to put the blame on me. He said I was told 35 minutes and that they were just barely over that. I said well if you would have told me when I paid for my order that it would have taken this long I would have gotten a beer(more revenue for the business) and relaxed. In the meantime my wife and daughter were in the car. I kept telling him this was BS and he kept telling me basically my fault and I was over reacting and that he was barley over the, 35 minutes which I was told when I called. Finally called him an idiot for the way he was treating me. Then he yelled at me so the whole restaurant could hear, shocker right. Then he tried to kick me out, I said credit my account and I am gone. He told me to never come back, which won't be a problem. I suggest you order delivery , the pizza is good, but you can avoid that guy. read more

I ordered pizza and figured if I picked it up it won't be that long! I waited 1hr in the restaurant got the pizza home and was very disappointed!! Great memories! When I moved away and then return for a visit, Ledo's was top of my list of "things to do". Family is gone now , it's a 2 hr. drive but I still try to make it once a year. Customer Service Lacking I have ordered delivered pizza several times from Ledo's, it's a good pie and has always been delivered within the hour, hot and fresh. Last night I decided to drive to Ledo's and eat-in with my Dad and daughter. We place our order at 5:15 pm as printed on my receipt. We had a pitcher of beer and the salad bar while we waited for our order number to be called. After 40 minutes I went back to the order counter to ask politely - how much longer. The order counter is directly in front of the kitchen, instead of checking with the kitchen she reviewed my order on the computer screen and told me it should be a few more minutes. After 50 minutes I returned to the order counter, this time she asked the kitchen about my order and I could see the cook just shrug his shoulders. I don't know what happened to my order but it wasn't in the oven. I told her and guy manning the counter I was leaving and wanted a refund, she had to get the manager to complete a refund. I now have 3 employees standing in front of me, not one of them offer an apology. In my book customer service is as important as the product you are serving. That my order never made it to the kitchen, hey I know things happen but that the employees didn't seem to care...says a lot about this establishment. read more

I grew up not far from Ledo's. It was a family tradition for us, growing up to order pizza for most family gatherings. So, it was only natural that over the years whenever I returned to La Grange I would make a point to always share a world class pizza with my remaining family... Until now. I don't know what happened but some genius decided to either buy cheaper ingredients, or change the recipe to the point that I will no longer patronize their establishment. Good pizza not good enough to make up for lousy customer service. Ledo's' owners have a saying, "The customer is always wrong." We've been going to Ledo's with family, girl scouts, baseball teams, Indian Guides/Princess, and more for over 10+ years. I've tolerated the abrasive folks behind the counter for the sake of an open seating area where the kids can get up and run around by the video games. I ordered a pizza for pickup this last weekend and when I went to pick it up, they couldn't find my order. No apologies, no nothing - only a "We can put the order in now and it will take 30-40 minutes". So I left and picked up Wendy's instead. When I get home, the delivery guy had arrived with the order. Would they comp the pizza for the error? No. Would they comp the delivery charge? No. Would they offer any discount or at least an apology for the error or inconvenience? Nothing. Goodbye Ledo's. There are too many other pizza places out there that understand what customer service is and live it out in how they treat their customers. read more

EDIT: Update- the manager did end up calling us. They viewed the security footage and said we are owed ten dollars. I didn't ask what happened. They are going to mail us a check. Here's the TL;DR: This place short changed us 10 bucks when my wife got a beer from the bar. They were utterly helpless in finding a solution. My wife went up to the bar at Ledo's with a $20 bill. She's absolutely sure it was a 20 because she just counted the money in my wallet. I saw it was a 20 as well. She got a beer that was $4.25. The bar tender handed her a 5 in change. She was like, "and the 10?" The bartender claimed she initially gave her a 10. Then took her name and phone number, and said "We'll call you once we count the drawer, if it's $10 over you can come back and get the 10." Nice customer service, right? Like, if it's $10 over, it's on us to drive all the way back and get our money? We ended up staying until they counted the drawer anyways, the manager then said the drawer was 15 cents over. (?) He said they would review security footage and call us if they saw the bartender pocket the money. I'm not holding my breath, I'm sure this was just said to placate us. I'm not sure the bartender stole the money, but where did it go? A bartender that randomly loses money is pretty crappy, the place wasn't even crowded and it wasn't late. My wife ordered one beer, not complicated. So, in short, thanks for stealing $10 from us, Ledo's. Your pizza sucks anyways, and this place was pretty scuzzy, dark and dank inside. They don't even have table service and you have to wait for your pizza order number to be called over this loudspeaker in the ceiling. McDonalds has better ambiance. Hey, at least with the internet I can warn others about these shady practices. If they had been cool and comped some drinks, a pizza, ANYTHING at all I wouldn't be writing this. read more

Soooo, my family and I loved this place. My husband grew up in Brookfield and he and his family have been coming here since he was a child, 40 years or so. I've been coming here the last 13 years. We drive almost an hour to come back here on a regular basis. That is until the last time we were there. There was a new employee at the register. He had such a rude attitude and thought he knew everything. We ordered our pizza and ordered shrimp as an app. We told him we wanted the shrimp first. We sat down and waited for our number to be called. 15 minutes go by. 25 minutes go by. I go to the counter and ask him about the shrimp. He said they take 20 min to make. Um no. I sit back down and wait, figuring they'd be out soon. 35 min go by. My husband goes up and asks about the shrimp and he tells him the same thing. He tells him that it's been 35 min and it doesn't take the 20 min he told me. The kid continues to talk over my husband and argues with him. He speaks with a woman who asks the kitchen about the shrimp. 5 minutes later she walks it out to us. 20 Min huh? Finally after being there an hr we get our # called for our small sausage pizza. This place and the customer service has seriously gone down hill. read more

The pizza is ok, but GOOD GOD FATHER IN HEAVEN! The wait on a delivery is FOREVER!!! My son was 15 when we put the order in, and when the pizza arrived, he was married with kids! I'm kidding obviously, but I can't see myself ordering a pizza ever again from them. It literally took 1 hour and half to receive my pizza. Today was my first time back here after not going since they started skimping on the amount of cheese they put on their pizza. I won't be back. My husband ordered a large pizza. My son & his wife wanted the salad bar, so ordered that right after ya, explaining that it should have really been part of the pizza order. The gal wouldn't let them add it to the pizza order, so as a result, they had to pay $6.99 more for it than what they'd have paid if it had been ordered with the pizza! In addition, we ordered sausage and pepperoni and they charged $4.35 for each topping! Used to be it came with cheese and one topping. The restaurant was almost empty at 5pm; there was only one other couple there. I see why. read more

It's hard to make a consistently great thin crust pizza; it's just as hard to have such consistently crummy food and service...Ledo's Pizza has perfected the latter. The crust is thin (a good thing), the toppings are too much resulting in a heavy, greasy, and just plain unappetizing pie. The table service is average, at best. The delivery service is typically an hour or more. The kicker is how expensive this food is! I would eat at a commercial / quick service pizza joint before I go back to Ledo's Pizza on LaGrange Road. read more

I go to Ledo's at least 3 times a year for there shrimp. Went today, the last thing I asked, is there sauce? The reply was yes it's in the bag. Guess what got home and no sauce. I agree with Chris! This is THE place to come to after any weekend warrior, or even youth sporting event. There are plenty of options here, and everything is so tasty. The restaurant is kid friendly, and rivals that of the "Max" on Saved by the Bell, because it is a local hang out for adults and teens alike. We ordered carryout from Ledo's last weekend. We opted for a cheese pizza with vegetarian toppings. When I called to ask if a 12 inch or 14 inch would be good for 2 adults, the person who took our order said a 12 inch is perfect for 2 hungry adults. The pizza itself was decent, good crust (thin & crunchy) and the sauce complemented it well. However, my husband and I were still hungry after eating the 12 inch, granted our appetites were not ravenous to begin with. For $17 excl tip, this is expensive carryout pizza, not sure if we'd be back. read more

We have lived in LaGrange for about a dozen years and have ordered from Ledo's for at least 10 of those years. They have good pizza but something has changed throughout the years.The first 5 years in LaGrange I can state with absolutely certainty that they would be 5 stars. I hope the owners read this and think back on what changes they have made to ingredients, it is still good but not the best in Lagrange. read more

I freaking love Ledo's. I never got much of a chance to try them on a regular basis until the last year when we started ordering them at work. Dine-in is fun because the place is so dimly lighted that it allows you to enjoy the television screens if you are there for a sporting event. They have house wines for as low as $2.00 a glass(and they aren't too bad, considering they are "house" wines). They do, however, sometimes take a long while to call your food out. I'm not quite sure why they proceed with the calling out the number system- I think they could do better with actual wait staff. Just my opinion. Anytime I have dined in, it seemed the wait for food was equal to delivery, so why not just order it from home and pay the delivery charge? Delivery- almost always right on the nose with their estimated delivery times, although the last two weeks they've been quicker, which is always a pleasant surprise. Drivers are always personable and know where they're going. You honestly can't say the same for Barone's down the block(2 hours for a gluten-free pizza the other night?On a weeknight when there were no sporting events at the time I ordered? Ridiculous) Menu Items that rule- Thin crust pizza is fantastic. Although it sounds disgusting, the italian beef pizza is fabulous. Cajun fries are awesome. Garlic bread with cheese(which I can no longer due to dietary restrictions, but when I did, oh, how I loved thee!) is perfect; just the right amount of garlic and cheese, their cheeseburgers are fabulous(I espicially like that they put the fresh items, ie lettuce, tomato, onion-separate. Not many places do that. Nice touch), and their italian beef is divine. I will argue that to those who 'know' italian beef, it is much better than Buona and Portillo's. Their pastas are great- the mostaccioli and raviolis are filling. You get your money worth, and plenty of leftovers(unless you're Mothra, then maybe not) Menu items that aren't so great: Beware the baked potato. If you order it with bacon and cheese, you will receive bacon bits. They are not real bacon bits, and I'm not sure what they are, but they're not even the demon doppleganger Bacos. They are, for the record, gross. The cheese is shredded, not cheese sauce. They are separate. If you order a baked potato with butter, make sure to ask your server to put "add butter" into the computer, or you will not even get that butter that you paid extra for. I wasn't real knocked out by their ribeye steak sandwich, for the record, the best one of those in the Lagrange-Countryside area is at Casciani's. i am not a big fan of their fried chicken. It was plastic-y and cold by the time it arrived. Not quite understanding: Why they do not carry Italian Ice. It seems to be a staple at most pizza places and Italian food places. Overall: I love them and will highly recommend them. Even if something does not agree with me, I will always find something else to try, rather than go elsewhere. read more

So to start I do actually like this place. Its close to my girlfriends house. They deliver and have a good product. The only reason they don't get 5 starts is that they messed up my order, they got my order backwards but the manager gave me the old pizza and then remade me a new one and delivered the new one. I remember eating here years ago and really liking the pizza. Either Ledo's has changed for the worse or my taste buds have improved in quality-detection. The pizza we ordered was either greasy or wet. We tried to identify the source but couldn't. By the time the pizza was 3/4 finished, the crust was quite soggy. The mushrooms are probably canned. If they are not, the texture is of canned mushrooms. The pepperoni was so thin it was barely noticeable. The sauce...watered down tomato juice??? It had virtually no flavor. We do not like spicy and hot, but a little bite/flavoring in the sauce would be nice. The good: at least the amount of toppings was respectable. Ordering is done at a counter. and drinks are picked up at the far end of the counter. The ordering process seems to be a jump in where you get a chance and order. It wasn't really crowded, but I would hope that it would be organized better when it is busy. The amount of time for the pizza order to be served was reasonable. The restaurant is clean and dirty plates do not stay on the tables for long. Seating is either in booths or family-style tables. The tables are long and have 10 chairs per table. However, I do not see anyway that 10 people could actually sit at the table and have any pizza on that table, There is not that much space on the tables as the tables do not have adequate depth for pizza pans and plates and elbows. If you do not like noise, this restaurant may not be the place to go mainly because of the games/arcade area. It is loud and designed for families with lots of noisy and energetic kids. It wasn't too loud when we were there, but then it only was about 5 - 10% full. The washrooms were very clean. read more
