I am a retired nurse with a long-standing history of neck problems. I have been under chiropractor care for many years but lost my practitioner during covid. By the time covid calmed down and I needed to look for a new practitioner I was having such bad headaches I could not work or drive. I knew I wanted a more comprehensive program now with the way technology has advanced. I saw Lee chiropractic had the decompression, laser and now shock wave treatment. I was impressed by the way Dr Lee went over all my x-rays being truthful about what the expectations were for healing. I did most of my treatments with Dr. Lee and the outcome after treatment (which were backed up by new x rays) was better than we expected. By the way those headaches decreased within a few treatments and are mostly gone. I go for maintenance now, I do see Dr. Malad or Dr Wil which fits my time schedule. When I first saw Dr. Lee a little over a year ago my neck pain was so intense that I could not raise my head off my pillow in the morning without severe pain! I could not move my head to the left or right more than 10 degrees. He showed me the scalloping on my neck vertebrae from an x-ray taken in his office and compared it to a healthy one. I followed up with an MRI, as well, and had little hope for improvement. Starting with 3 adjustments per week, to 2 to 1 to monthly today, I have no pain at all and can now turn my head to look behind me! I did decompression, electrical stimulation and followed his recommended exercises daily at first, and now include them in my weight training a few days a week. I also worked with Phil Lim at Apex Physical Therapy in Irvine to strengthen the shoulder and upper chest and neck muscles to accelerate my recovery. Dr. Lee knows what he is doing, is considerate about how he treats his patients, and took me from severe pain to no pain in a gradual but effective way. Went here a while ago and I have to say that they really try to sell you on these treatment plans that insist upon far too many visits. They are just trying to make money and really do not have your best interest or health in mind. I came here with my husband and we were both put through a consultation and given a treatment plan. The thing I really don't like about this place is that they try to get you to sign a contract agreeing to come in for 4 times a week for 4 months, that was our "treatment" plan anyway. Why would I have to sign a contract to agree to come in so often? Why can't we take treatment week by week? I really disagree with the way this office does business and I think there are much better chiropractors out there that are more concerned with their patients rather than locking patients in to a treatment contract for $$$ read more

I've had chronic back and neck pains for years and assumed it was simply a muscle issue. So I would make monthly visits to the Massage Envy and although it would solve the issue immediately, my back and neck would start acting up a few weeks afterwards. My friend/co-worker has been a patient of Dr. Lee's for years now and since we carpool to work, I would accompany her as she would do her monthly maintenance adjustments. I have been a patient of Dr Lee for 3 year and I would highly recommend him to my friends, family, or anybody reading this. When I first came to him 3 years ago I had constant pain in my lower back for as long as I could remember it that I thought I would just have to live with. The first consultation Dr Lee got some XRays and went over everything with me. Without telling him anything, he was able to locate the source of my pain and explain to me why I was having it and tell me what he could do to fix it. I started going to him regularly and my lower back has been pain free for 2+ years now. He has also fixed my neck that was giving me headaches and all sorts of problems. But the miracle that Dr Lee performed was about a year ago when I hurt my spine at T3 I had a bulging disc and I was flat on my back for 3 months. I went to several neurologists and orthopedic specialists for my spine, and they all just prescribed me drugs and encouraged me to get surgery.. ON MY SPINE?! No thanx! So I went to Dr Lee and over a period of time, slowly but surely, he FIXED IT and I was back on my feet and working in 3 months, with no drugs and no surgery. I am so grateful to him for this and always will be. Sometimes I still hurt myself during yoga or just ever day life and I go to him for "maintenence" a couple times a month and I always walk away feeling taller and better after an adjustment from him. He has also taught me exercises and stretches I could do on my own. His office is really nice, located near Whole Foods which I dig.. it's always clean, he's got flat screen tvs in every room, and I don't know if he did this on purpose or not, but a bunch of really pretty girls that work the front desk!:) And what I really like about having an appointment with Dr Lee is if you have questions, he will sit there and patiently answer all of them until you are satisfied. But if you just want to get in and out, he will adjust you and have you on ur way in 5 minutes! I'd also like to add that it's a big deal for me to give ANY medical profession a 5/5 star review. I don't trust most doctors, I have been to 5 chiropractors in my lifetime and only 1 would get this review. I tweaked my neck pretty badly -- the pain wouldn't go away for weeks and it was driving me crazy. I finally caved and looked for a local chiropractor, yelped it (like a millennial :), and scheduled my first appointment here. They started with some x-rays and a pretty thorough consultation. They recommended three months of therapy, to address my neck as well as some other issues that they pointed out in my spine. I will admit it was a little bit more of a commitment -- financially mostly -- than what I was expecting, (I was thinking that it was going to be a one and done adjustment) but I'd say it was worth it for the most part. The team is very nice, pleasant, and accommodating to your schedule/needs. The sad thing here is that Dr. Lee could be the best chiropractor out there, but because of their 'bait and switch' business scheme, I'll never know. I upgraded them from 1 star to 2 due to decent customer service from the staff, but what happened afterwards completely dissolved any relationship I may have forged with them. Because of my particular insurance plan, I am not covered for what they'd have to offer in the long run and would only have certain services paid for. Fine. HOWEVER, don't make me pay for x-rays and give me the go-around only to tell me I can't be worked on unless I sign this contract for a 3 month long treatment plan. I told Dr. Lee it was money I simply didn't have to produce out of pocket, but he kept pressing for me to try the monthly plan (which was still too much for me to justify). I then asked if I could be worked on that day and that I'd gladly pay for the one session only to be told "our office just doesn't operate that way." I understand that doctors and specialists still have a business to run, but I felt this was unfair and dishonest. read more
