Can't recommend them. Too many bad experiences. Have been overcharged for things, partly my bad because I did not get competitive quotes. One time they told me I had a water leak near meter and they needed to do an expensive repair which would involve digging a trench in my yard. I called Metro Water...no leaks. Called another plumbing co....no leaks. Recently used Lee to check a loud noise from the water heater they installed 2 years ago. Tech said it was because my water pressure is too high and recommended an expensive solution. But at this point I double check anything Lee says. I've called Metro Water and another plumber to come out and verify Lee's findings about water pressure and get estimates if needed. When the tech came out about the water heater noise, he measured water pressure at front and back spigots which required disconnecting my hoses and sprinkler timers. Immediately after he was here, the spigots made loud noises when the sprinklers came on. So I called Lee to come back out. He said I needed to pay their $79 fee for the service call. I politely said I wasn't paying anything because they caused the problem, and tell his office they can call me if they want to. The tech left. Then he rang my doorbell a few minutes later. My guess is he went to his truck, called the office, told them I wouldn't pay, and they made him come back to get money from me. I did not answer the door. All I can say about Lee Co is buyer beware. Their pricing is so high. They said they charged by the job but how can you justify 10 min worth of work to unclog toilet and then charge $240 for it. I hadn't used them in many years. I stopped bc they wanted to put in new HVAC system and charge $5000+ for it. I got a 2nd opinion, had a $250 part replaced and system is still running after 15 years! I used Lee company for years because they were always available when I had a problem with plumbing, electrical or HVAC issues. Unfortunately I came to realize they were much more expensive than their counterparts and not as thorough as I trusted them to be. After years of using them they sold me a water filter, hot water heater and UV filters for my air ducts. They inspected my systems but never mentioned anything about poorly configured duct work. Two other companies came to inspect and right away noticed that the duct work was installed in a poor configuration (by the original builder) and that the UV filters (installed by Lee company) were broken and improperly installed. read more

I had a dishwasher part replaced and then told I needed multiple others just streaming on and on so I said to take it out and just give me a refund, they came out got the part and I haven't heard a word since about my $350 refund. The only reason I'm giving two stars is bc they did come out immediately when the AC unit went out. We needed a whole new system and since it was a duplex, we went with a ductless system. They did get side down the very next day where the bedrooms were. Then it took a good 5 days to get the rest done. One side is neatly put to gather and the other side looks like crap. This was in May. Warren Wells is the supervisor of this crew and said they would be back to tidy up the other side bc he agreed, it did not look good. Fast forward, still not finished. Called Lee company yesterday. They said they would have Warren call me. No call. I said I wanted to talk to the manager of the AC dept. was told he was in a meeting and he would call me after the meeting. What in the world has happened to customer service. Our AC unit broke after 3 years, and they came to fix it but part was on back order 3 to 4 weeks is what I was told. After that 4th week I had to call them and now it's 5 to 7 weeks on back order. I have already went 4 weeks with no heat or air and had to buy portable heaters, they came put a part that will give me AC but does not shut off(the blower motor) which will cause my electric bill to be higher and then charger $300 for that and when said part is suppose to be here its another charge for that. I call Lee Company on Friday January 12, 2024 I told him I was having problem with my HVAC outside fan not turning but heat fan blowing and thermostat not reaching temperature, I said I was ok and have a space heater cause the cold spell had just hit very cold snow was coming too but someone needed help more urgent than I. He said is Monday morning good I said yes. I really was surprised they got to me so quick cause it was a lot of emergencies situations on the news it was freezing and the snow came. I was so grateful all those Lee Co. Techs were showing up so quickly one after another getting it rolling. Since the unit was over 12 years and burning out I chose to replace the unit it was time. The next day Tuesday I had a brand new HVAC unit, the Lee techs showed up in the cold breezy freezing snow ripping out the old setting up the new with a crawl space. I was feeling so grateful and blessed for their professional service and explaining the new thermostat. The price was more reasonable than I thought it was gonna be plus the 1000.00 discount for cash payment was nice also. This was my 3rd time using Lee Company's service and I have no complaints. I am a property manager in the Davidson County area. Over Christmas, due to the extreme temperatures, I had 4 emergency situations on water breaks. I made 4 different calls to Lee Company for emergency service (as my regular plumber was away for the holidays). As of January 5th, I have yet to receive a call back for even one service call that I requested. Obviously, I have resolved each of my problems with absolutely no help from Lee Company. If they were too busy, they should have a least responded to my call and let me know. I'm not sure why they even have an emergency 24 hour service line if they never follow up with customers. We started using Lee Company in the late 1990's but I am done. We have had a few issues over the last 2-3 yrs but most recently they were a no show for our fall/winter maintenance appointment for the second time. This also happened last year but I excused it being 2020/Covid. Last week my time block was 10-12 and at 11 the office called to say they were running behind and it might be a few minutes past 12 before they arrive. She told me a technician would reach out. No one did. We have the maintenance plan and a "priority line" to call but I repeatedly called only to be on indefinite hold. I eventually requested a call back and after finally speaking to someone around 2:30, the lady said I would be next on the schedule and again a tech would reach out. After waiting all day, no one bothered to show up or call. I emailed Lee Company that night, no reply. I called the office again 2 days later to make sure my maintenance plan is cancelled and requested to speak to a manager...still waiting. Lee company has become unreliable and inconsiderate of their customers time. We also have work/life commitments. Unprofessional on every level. read more

Lee Company tries to sell new HVAC system with scare tactics. Lee Company came to our house to tune up our HVAC for the winter (we were on a service plan...it has since been cancelled). The technician claimed we had a damaged main heat exchange after he inspected our systems. He proceed to explain to my wife (I was not home during this incident) that we were endangering our children lives with this issue and needed to repair ($5,000+/-) or replace the system ($12,000+/-). The endangerment was supposedly due to CO leak. (we have CO detectors in our house). Next, he proceed to shut the system off and scheduled a "sales appointment" for the following day. Keep in mind this is December 17th (its cold outside) so shutting the HVAC system down is an issue for a family of 5. This was all very fishy & seemed like complete B.S. We decided to cancel the appointment that was essentially forced on us and called Joslin Plumbing for a second opinion on the HVAC system's heat exchange. (BTW we recommend Joslin out of Franklin, TN). Joslin came first thing the follow morning and confirmed that our system was totally fine & we had been completely mislead. We were also informed that Lee Company has a reputation for doing these types of things and I suspect their technicians are commissioned on sales as well. Do not use this company...they are clearly attempting to take advantage of customers. If do choose to use them ALWAYS get a second opinion before taking them up on their "sales team". I would give them a zero star but its not an option. read more

On Monday 7-27-2020 Lee Company at Menzler Rd Nashville,TN sent Seth out to repair my unit.My problem was last year it was working.This year my air unit came on but was not blowing air through my vents.So Seth checked it out.Told me I needed to buy a new unit for $6,500.That I can finance it to make monthly payments.I told him no thanks.I got enough monthly bills.So he kept pushing to send a guy out to talk about the 3 different units for sale.Also wanted to sign me up for a program.Was trying hard to make that sale.So I sent him on his way with the $79 dollar traveling fee.So the next day I called another heating and cooling company.The guy checked it out and told me the problem was a back compositor.It powers my fan.I cost $164 and I gave him $170. read more

Had Lee company come out when it was in the 100s because ac just wasn't working. Well they said we needed a new system and upgraded duct work. They do the work now my master bedroom doesn't cool, it used to when old system was working, they said they need to add a new duct, and other $1200. I go upstairs because my son said the carpet is wet, so I go in attic and slip on water and partially fall through ceiling because the evaporator drain just ran 5 feet away to drain on the ceiling. At this point I'm pissed, I look around and see all the duct work is the same, it's all dirty has insulation on it and it not even sealed to the unit, remember I paid to have upgraded ducts installed because supposedly mine were the wrong size. So I remember seeing ducting in my driveway when I came home so I check my security cameras and I watch as the technician loads them back in van and drives off! So may lies told during the process and they just want your money. I hope the governor does something about his company and how it's ripping people off. Oh and if you see my other post about my septic system I found that it had collapsed due to Lee company parking their van on top of it when they were installing new compressors. read more

They told me they would at my house between 8-10, when I called they told me they no longer had the time they set up available. Rescheduled for between 12-2, the technician did not show up until 3:30. I was greeted with and "Oh there you are," Like he had been waiting on me all day. I'm beyond frustrated starting yet again at 4am this morning dealing with another loud water leak that awoke me. It's part of the ongoing problem I've been dealing with for months knowing we have defective Pex piping and have had Lee Company out for repairs and a full consultation and quote to replumb, replace and repair pipes, duct and HVAC units, along with the drywall, flooring, and mold damage resulting from this defective piping. I've been delayed and delayed trying to get a homeowners insurance quote started because the people who have come out, can't simply email me the quote. Hiller had it the same day, but I kept wanting to trust and reuse Lee Company for this massive undertaking based on years of experience, especially with my commercial properties. This morning is just my breaking point as I've got tons of emails where I have followed up with your customer service and been told, "No problem, we'll send it to the field manager and get that to you today." I am working w/ a home warranty currently, and you can tell a huge difference from using their inexperienced techs to my previous experience w/ Lee's caliber. They come no matter what time or day, and only take care of what needs being done.
