Overall, I like this nail salon because the manicurist is nice and does a fast job. Not to mention $12 manicure, which I think is a steal. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. The cleanliness of the place would probably be a 1 star- not hygienic at all- but again, you get what you pay for. I've been To Lee Nail Care a few times, and every time, I have enjoyed myself. The first time I went, I got silk nails on a few nails for my senior prom and they lasted for quite a while without chipping. The lady that did my nails made great conversation and told me tips on how to keep the mani last for a little while. She took her time to make sure the nails were put on correctly but did not take forever. The next few times I went to get my nails done, they were similar to the first. I also got them done the same way for my sister's engagement party and she went with me. Again, the lady made awesome conversation, giving my sister tips about things to do before her big day. I will be going back whenever I am in the area or need a few fake nails, if a few of my real ones ever break before a big occasion! read more

I got my yearly birthday pedicure (haha yeah) on a Saturday, and even though she already had two clients there, she juggled all three of us pretty well. It was $20 for just a pedicure, and she did a great job! I had this done a month ago, and my feet still look pretty good. The polish is not chipped and is in good shape. Only nail service here, no waxing or anything. I like that, one place for its one specialty. It is a small cozy place, VERY FRIENDLY staff. The owner has a really cute son too! Lee is very nice. Try to call in and get an appointment with her. I'm lucky -- I work very close, but there's always someone there or someone coming in. I had a gel set done once and I was going to Hong Kong for three weeks. I told Lee that I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it--what if my nails broke? I don't want a miscolored nail! She assured me that they wouldn't break and that they'd be fine. Lee was right. The prices are reasonable, and she does a great job. Needing a pedicure BADLY, I chose to go close to home and came upon this small, neighborhood nail salon. The owner Lee is a one-woman business owner, and is very grateful for any customers, since COVID. She is very warm & friendly, and she did a fine job on my toes. I liked that it was just a basic pedicure with no frills & that she got done fast and was efficient in making my toes/feet feel good again. There is no massage chair, or the plastic liner for your feet to soak in, but the place is clean and I felt relatively safe going in there with my mask on. She does provide a large plastic shield between her and the customer which i did appreciate. She work mask/and face shield and I had no problem hearing her, as sometimes both those things can muffle peoples conversation. I will return again, when I need a quick and no fuss pedicure. If you are looking for fancy service and relaxation, forget this place, she gets the pedi and mani done quickly and up to standard, she is usually on time for appointments and easy to work with, I would recommend it. read more

The people at Lee Nail Care (a lady who was doing nails and a man who was sitting up front, reading a newspaper and joining in the conversation every once in a while) are super-friendly and GREAT conversationalists. If I were to rate this place based on their ability to engage in friendly banter alone, I'd give it 5 stars. But let's be frank, good conversation is the icing on the cake for me and is not the REASON I go to a nail salon and I HIGHLY suspect that the other ratings were based on salon owner likeability only and not on the quality of the manicure/pedicure provided. I go to a nail salon to get my nails done -- in my case, usually my feet. I am religious about keeping my feet maintained and will even get pedicures on business trips to make sure that my feet stay presentable. But the quality of the pedicure is where Lee Nail Care failed. Coming with my sister, I was disappointed when I walked into the shop. The shop only had one chair for pedicures which was never mentioned to me when I called and asked about availability for pedicures for two. My sister pulled up a short stool and sat near me (not a comfortable arrangement but, hey, we're pretty easy-going) while I placed my feet into a portable plug-in foot bath and waited for the lady to finish a manicure on a regular. I felt crappy watching my sister sit uncomfortably (but with no complaints and a smile on her face which is the way my sister is!) on a stool while I sat in the only pedicure chair available. However, due to the high reviews, I kept my hopes up. Since there was nothing luxurious about the place, I was certain they'd make up for it with a good pedicure, right? Wrong. The pedicure in and of itself was the worst that I have ever had. It took about 10-15 minutes for the whole thing from start to finish (including the foot soak). I was surprised when the pedicurist removed my foot from the foot bath, did a quick one over with the pumice (I mean, it was a joke) and began doing my nails (pushing back cuticles and painting my toes) without a massage or a thorough foot scrub/file. So, on my second foot, I made it a point to state how much I value the pumice-scrubbing portion of the pedicure and ask that she use the pumice stone longer. In response, the lady said that she didn't recommend it since it would only cause my skin to thicken in response to the removal of skin layers. I've had a lot of pedicures and I've never had issues with getting my foot scrubbed with a pumice stone/sponge or a foot file -- in fact, it's usually an assumed part of the pedicure so I politely let the lady know that I would REALLY like her to use a pumice on my feet for longer than a one-over. I mean, I'm okay with skipping the foot massage (which she did) but the reason I get pedicures is because I want soft feet. So she did but, of course, only on that foot and for about 30 seconds rather than the one over she gave my other foot. She didn't return to the first foot. Even though we kept it friendly (my sister and I were in a GREAT mood) I was very disappointed and consoled myself with the thought that "Well, at least this pedicure is only $15 and I can go somewhere else next week for a real pedicure." Actually, I can't remember the exact advertised price (there was one of those fold-up boards near the door, advertising a low pedicure price of somewhere between $13-$15 but whatever the price was, it was low. It wasn't the price that I was charged though. Despite the low price we *thought* we were going to get, my sister wasn't into what she saw either because she made it a point to state that she didn't want a pedicure after all (after she left, she let me know that she thought the place was a rip-off even at the cheap, advertised price). When it was done, the lady charged me $25, stating that there was a mark-up for the french pedicure I had elected. I didn't even argue. Usually, there is at least a $5 markup for french pedicures done at low-end nail salons so, although I felt that her markup was unusually high, I'm usually a huge tipper when it comes to pedicures (and I'm talking at least 40% tip and up), so I figured that the difference would be her tip. The people were so friendly that it made me feel bad writing this rating but, to be honest, I can easily rate this pedicure as the worst one I've ever had (and I've had many). I walked out of there, $25 lighter, with a pedicure that I wanted to re-do as soon as possible, feeling like someone had just served me dog poop with a smile. One star for the smile, no stars for the dog poop of a pedicure. read more

I found Lee's on Yelp and it is near my son's martial arts school so I decided to try it out. They're really nice and she did an amazing job. 3 weeks later my gel polish is still in tact with absolutely no chips! Amazing considering I've been to many different places and their gel polish never lasts anywhere close to this long! The only drawback is it's a one woman shop so if you're going after work or on the weekend, you should definitely make an appointment. I will definitely return! read more

Came here last minute after being rejected from Sensi Nails. At first glance, this place looks kinda ghetto, but everyone is so nice and then it feels like an equivalent to a barbershop (a place where older women get together to gossip lolz). I got an acrylic french set and a pedicure. Lee is really fast, but does a really good job. She is really nice and is easy to get along with. It cost me about 30$ for the acrylics, 20$ for the pedicure, and 10$ tip. All in all a good experience :) Lee offered to do a fill and touch up for the pedi for only 22$. I'm new to Lee Nail Care and I'll be going back! She is a very sweet lady and makes you feel very welcomed! I've been a dedicated customer of another nalon salon but I hate to say it, I think they've lost my business to Lee. She is attentive and very professional and you leave feeling taken care of. Make sure you make an appointment as she has her regulars there and although her hours say 9:30 am - 7 pm, if the weather is nice or she's got something going on, you'll show up to a closed salon. Lee is very friendly and professional, she has been in the nail care business for a long time and has a lot of loyal customers. The salon is small, but clean and rather cozy. It's located at a very convenient location that you can easily get to via public transportation (I always take the L). Lee always makes room in her schedule for me and takes same-day appointments, which I really appreciate. Her manicures are quick, but efficient. She always makes sure that I'm happy with the length of my nails before she moves on, and does a great job for a 1 person business. one star due to the fact that she's nice. however i don't believe she's clean whatsoever and uses clean tools let alone the nail brush she used in me ( why did i let her)?!! i was in a bind and i was in the area and needed a quick manicure. i didn't have my personal tools with me so i just went with it. big mistake. i honestly was uncomfortable the whole time with her practices, in hindsight i i should have just left. i just took my polish off and there are 2 white spots on one of my nails. hopefully won't progress to much more.
