Absolutely amazing! They are all so talented and treat you like a lovely person having a day to feel good. So many nail salons treat you like your the car at the mechanic getting maintenance, but the ladies at New Elegant Spa, treat you like one of the gurls. I have never really been a nail girlie, just not my jam and my sensory issues would never! But sometimes I want that feeling of being pampered and treated to someone else's effort. So I tried them out for the classic Mani+Pedi and they talked me into nail stickers (it wasn't a difficult upsell lol) and I walked away actually feeling refreshed and reminded of that feeling everytime I looked at my nails. They were gentle and kind with the pedicure which is amazing as my feet are really sensitive. The massage chairs are also a definite plus! Since that first time I've been back every couple months and have challenged them with nail design concepts that they have always risen to the occasion of! Most places wouldnt consider a tri-color dinosaur design for man+Pedi, but she took it on and knocked it outta the park! (She draws with her small kids alot so she has so much creativity and practice with silly designs lol) They also have a 10 day guarantee on gels! She is absolutely amazing and my last set nearly lasted me a month! Since they don't do acrylics the shop never has that overwhelming stench that the acrylic process brings. 10/10 would bring everyone I can here and praise their skills to mountain tops! Cannot recommend this salon enough! Nu is super sweet and genuinely cares about her clients and gets to know everyone so naturally. She has so many regular clients including myself now. I have had really bad experiences with gel manicures in the past and had written off the idea of ever getting it again until I met Nu and tried it with her after she listened to my experiences and hesitations. Now, I have been more than happy with her gel -- she's the best !! They last me around 3 weeks if I'm busy and can't see her with no chipping which is super impressive, I use my hands a lot. She also offers 10 day gel guarantee so if there are any issues you can go back in for a touch up but I have never needed to. Also all the ladies who work at the shop are so sweet and really great, it's been so nice to get to know them. I never write reviews but had to because I'm such a big fan! Better prices for cash too! . This is by far the best nail salon I've ever been to in my life. I went for the first time yesterday and from the moment I walked in, they treated me like I had been coming there for years. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. The clients there seemed genuinely happy, chatting naturally with Nu, and you could really feel how homey and comfortable the place is. Every client I spoke with had amazing things to say about the salon and the team. What made the experience even better was that the service truly matched the energy. I was welcomed with tea and beverages, which was such a thoughtful touch. Yen did my nails and toes and absolutely nailed it. My nails were in pretty bad shape when I came in, but she completely transformed them and they look even better than I imagined. She took her time, was gentle, patient, and clearly cares about her work. I didn't catch the other lady's name, but she was also incredibly sweet. There were so many smiles, kind conversations, and such a positive vibe throughout the whole visit. On top of the amazing atmosphere, the quality of work was excellent. Hands down best mani/pedi in the area. I personally am impatient and do not like getting mani/pedi and am used to hack jobs. I was so impressed that the nail tech took great care of making sure my nails were filed and my cuticles done properly. Service was thorough and not rushed. The atmosphere was calm and professional and yet friendly and easy going. I love the long lasting nails. Going on 3 weeks for gel mani. The pedi was regular and chipped in a week. The service was on point. The three ladies rotated through the three guests and we were done in a timely manner. I didn't like that my nails were cut crooked based on how they were sitting. But it was just one nail. They did take care to paint and file all my oddly shaped and super small toe nails. read more

One of the best nail salons I've ever been to! My gel manicure, regular pedicure, with gel removal and eyebrow wax took 2 hours. Efficient without feeling rushed although I wish the leg and hand massage were longer than a minute. I was able to fully relax in their clean massage chair while enjoying some adult contemporary music in the background. The salon is well kept, they're just working on getting the bathroom knob fixed. Nu's hospitality is unmatched. She'll provide her expert opinion when needed and the team's work is excellent and gentle. They are very careful with your nails. There is complimentary tea, coffee, water or sparkling water. Complimentary disposable flip flops too. Metered street parking available. While card is accepted, paying by cash, Venmo or Zelle is very much appreciated. read more

My daughter and I both received lovely mani-pedis and were made to feel so welcome. Nu was very accommodating taking us for a short- notice appointment in the evening. The owner, Nu, is a delight! I was visiting town on two different occasions for work this October and mentioned to my daughter that I'd need a manicure each time. She immediately booked us for an appointment and I got a gel manicure with a vibrant silver polish that elicited lots of positive commentary from others. The second time I went back I got a sparkly rose set and the same - people told me how nice they looked. Both times the manicure lasted throughout multiple trade show booth set ups and tear downs. Nu is also just a kind person. You can sit and have a glass of bubbly, or have a cup of water while she and her team attend to you. Nu is also lovely to chat with - making the experience super enjoyable. Truth be told, Nu loves nails and nail art. My daughter got a very cool pattern perfect for fall and it looked beautiful after they had a conversation about what the design should be. The spot is smaller, and the parking can be tricky if you're not taking Muni or walking by. Go see her, tip well, and enjoy! read more

New Elegant Spa is a fantastic place to visit. I went with my daughter last week, and we had a wonderful experience. Nu is extremely friendly and provides excellent customer service. She did a set of gel nails for both my daughter and me, and they lasted a long time. Nu is very talented and can create any nail art design you want. If you have a picture to show her, she can replicate it perfectly. If you don't have a specific design in mind, Nu can create one for you. In addition to gel nails, New Elegant Spa offers manicures, pedicures, Gel-X designs, and a variety of other nail designs. We both had a great experience at New Nail Spa, and I would love to revisit when I have some free time. If you haven't experienced this nail salon yet, I highly recommend it. This is a really sweet shop with nice music. She really gets into the nitty gritty of your nails and files them to perfection. Afterwards she used some sandy soap to scrape your dead skin from your feet for youthfulness once again. Next, she scrubs it it with a scraper-like filer to really rid all of the old dead skin. Nu was able to accommodate me for a same-day appointment for gel removal on New Year's Eve; she responded very promptly to my Yelp service request message. Bless her for staying open on NYE so all the girlies could look cute for the new year!! Nu was so sweet, friendly, and treated all her customers like family! She offered us hot beverages (I got a Vietnamese coffee), let one of the girls on the massage chair while she waited for her turn, and offered me different books on nail samples to entertain myself while my acetone was doing its work. Had a gel manicure peel off three fingers after 48 hours. Generally just room appears dirtier & dirtier each time I go and there's lots of conversation between techs that feels like judgement of clients. UPDATE: Owner personally contacted me and wants me to try again. I have a service scheduled in a couple days. I do think they care,. I'm giving it another try. UPDATE # 2: Went in for my complimentary classic mani/pedi. They were right on it: no waiting, right to business. Both the mani and pedi went well. I did have to ask for a drying machine for my mani, just to be sure it would dry. I'm grateful they offered me this service for free and I feel better about it all. They care and really tried. I left a big tip for both technicians and I will consider coming back again. I should ask for specific people if I do go back. I think it matters.
