I had a HORRIBLE experience here. I will say that this was my second time coming and will be my last. The first time I went I did enjoy Chloe and she did a great job. HOWEVER, the next time I went I had my worst experience ever. The young lady who did my nails was rude and rushed to get to the next person. When she had finished with the lady right before me, I guess the lady didn't leave her a tip and she walked bac and said NO TIP and looked at her coworkers. About 10 mins later, the lady sent her daughter back in with a tip for her (she had to go get cash) and she was like ooh here I am and acted so nice just after she had just been so rude. Then she started my nails and did an ok job, however not 24 hrs later one of my GEL nails started lifting so I went back she fixed, two days after that 2 more lifted. Then a day after that 1 more (5 days total). I called to speak to someone and the MANAGER she would NOT give her name I asked if we could just redo because we seem to have a problem. I had been in there nearly 3 weeks earlier and no issues what so ever. Within a week (5 days exactly), I had to have at a minimum 3 nail fixed. The MANAGER stated that she would have to charge me to redo I stated I would not. She said I could come back and get my money so I did. When I got there she decided that she did not want to be there and gave my money to one of the young ladies so she wouldn't have to deal with me. This was not the best experience. My friend and I purchased a groupon for lee nail salon and will not be returning after our experience. Not only did they do a poor job, but then proceeded to charge me for taking off my old nail polish without telling me until I went to pay. They were not helpful about this and quite rude. The nail filing is completely uneven and the polish was put on quickly and carelessly. Just an overall bad experience and I don't recommend this particular salon. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I've been coming here for over a year for pedicures and eyebrow waxing only and should have stuck with just that. This evening, I decided to get a refill from them because I had a nail on the verge of breaking and my personal nail tech doesn't have any openings this weekend due to the holiday season . My original set was very detailed so I asked for a simple ombré fill with a nude or pink color instead of all the colors on the set. For the last 20+ years I have worn advanced acrylic designs and know an ombré is a simple solution to making colorful nails more uniformed very easily and efficiently. I have changed a full color set to ombré a countless amount of times. It just requires a little more drilling of the original colors prior to the fill. The tech told me that was not possible and sloppily plopped clear acrylic to "prove" the technique I was telling her wouldn't work. I should have left at that point, totally my fault. She then tells me how long she has been doing nails. I proceed to ask her what she suggested and after unclearly giving a uncertain suggestion, she proceeded to fill with a random pink acrylic that she said wouldn't work instead finding a color that would. After the application and filing, she piled ugly glitter on nails that were already quite busy to camouflage her sloppy acrylic application. At this point, I was ready to go and didn't feel like using any more energy. I got charged $30 for an ugly refill that was everything opposite of what I asked for. Still unsure where that price came from since she did little to no real work outside of a regular fill with a $15 max value. Will never be going back, not even for a pedicure or eyebrow wax. Listening to your client and trying to make what they're saying work should always supersede what you "think" you know. It might also be helpful to admit that you simply do not know how to do what is being asked and send the person on their way, then to continue on with something you know you won't be able to fulfill. I am glad I now know you all CANNOT! If you are brave enough to let them do acrylic nails, stick with the males that work there. You might have better luck. I was thoroughly reminded why I stick with African American nail techs for acrylic nails. read more

I have searched long & far for a nail place that I enjoy. I keep trying new places since moving here from NY and have to say this is the closest I have come to what I'm looking for in a nail salon. The massage chairs actually work with some power! The staff was very polite and not pushy like car salesmen. I felt like I really got my money's worth I paid $70 (before tip) for an acrylic fill in with gel application + pedicure with gel application. That's usually a $100 service. The only thing I would change is that they do not use the protective film over the pedicure tub between clients. Other than that it would've been a 5 star! read more

Don't waste your money. I've had several manicures/pedicures in my lifetime, and the service here was surely the worst. They were rude. Jenny HURT my foot when she was shaving off the calluses because SHE WAS LOOKING THE OTHER WAY. Not even paying attention to what she was doing. That happened twice. I usually do my gel nails at home, but thought I'd give myself a treat by going here. Wrong. I could have done better than Lien. My fingernails were filed crooked, as were one of my toenails -- if I hadn't noticed and had Jenny straighten it out. Very unhappy with the service here. Horrible customer service. I called a couple of hours before coming in to make an appointment. I was told I didn't need one because they weren't busy. I showed up and was asked what I needed and told told to pick a color and have a seat at the station. Not one minute later, a young man approaches me and asks me to come back in 50 minutes because the guy that does acrylics wasn't in. Please do not go here! Went here the day before my wedding to get acrylic French tips and had the worst experience. No one talked to me for over thirty minutes while I waited (I was so tempted to leave but was in a rush to get my nails done before getting married). When I finally was taken back to get my nails done, they were crocked, very thick and just looked gross. Multiple times I had to ask the lady to even them out and fix them.. I also wanted shorter nails and she proceeded to make them longer than I asked even after I showed her just how short I wanted them... Fast forward a week, nails were popping off... this was a full set not a fill.. so it definitely shouldn't have happened that soon.. Now after getting my nails taken off I have a raging infection on my right ring finger. Rude, unprofessional, unclean, terrible service. This rating is purely based on their customer service which is almost non-existent. I walked in, was asked what I needed done, I told them eyebrow wax, got no response, they didn't tell me a wait time or anything. I should've left at that point but I waited. 40 minutes went by and a lady said I could go in the back, I followed her and not another word was said, I even tried to let her know that I had a Groupon and she ignored me. They have became a favorite. I stepped away for a minute to try another place that was closer to home but had to return back home. Brian does an amazing job at natural looking fill ins and gel polish. I'm extremely picky about my nails so if I'm saying this its def a win. I really hate thick acrylic and his is perfection. Everyone is really nice. Emily does great manicures and pedicures and eyebrows. I would say they need more colors. I'm running outta options cause I get my nails done so often. But overall they are my faves out of the places I've tried to date and believe me I have tried some of everywhere! read more

I don't think he knows English bc I asked him twice to add more glitter and showed him he didn't paint parts of several nails and he completely ignored me. He hurt me scraping under my nails with his long nails I flinched and even said ouch but again I was ignored- he should NOT be doing nails. Terrible job even after I finally got him to add more polish he still didn't cover the whole nail. I gave up. Will never go back. This business has made their gel "manicures" a low price of $20... And it's quality matches the price. My mother and I just got our gel manicures done yesterday and both of ours are already all peeling off! Do not come here for gel manicures, or for any manicures period. They aren't friendly, and they rush through the manicures. They hurt your nails and do not know what customer service is. I've given this place at least 5 chances and I get the same result each time. I bought a Groupon for a Gel Manicure. I walked in and it was filthy and very dirty. There were nail clipping all over the floors and the place were you get your nails done. The chemical odor was so overwhelming. I felt lighted headed and nausea. The Gel Polish they use is very poor quality and lasted less than a day. They hold conversations with their peers and ignore you. I called Groupon and soon as I arrived home. They were very accommodating. They were gone to launch investigation into this matter. read more

Horrible experience. Have been here numerous times in the past when visiting Charlotte. My aunt actually turned me on to this place a few years back. Just moving to Charlotte a month ago I decided to go back, but that was my last visit! Upon walking in no one greeted me, they were busy but it doesn't take but a second to say hello. Finally after 45min of waiting I was seated and immediately the nail technicians had an attitude when asked if they could not drill my shellac off but instead File the bet top coat and let me soak. I had no probably sitting and waiting to soak my nail, that's the only way to ensure my nails don't become brittle and break (this has happened before). The manager ended up doing my nails..and instead of using a tool to get the shellac off he used his FINGER NAILS never have I ever experienced this. If I wanted that I could of taken my nails off myself! Needless to say after 3 days of having shellac my nails chipped and a week in 3 nails broke on the side. Although the shellac manicure is $20 it was a cheap job. I was generous to give them even one star! Never again will I go back again! read more
