Located conveniently within MSP Airport, this fast-casual eatery impresses right away with its clean, open-concept design. The layout is smart and streamlined--ideal for travelers in a hurry but still a hot meal. The serving stations are spotless and inviting, see my pic, with well-lit displays and staff that keep the line moving efficiently. The bar deserves a nod of its own--well-stocked and open, it invites travelers to relax with a quick pre-flight drink. As for the food, everything is easy to access for quick selections. I tried the egg roll, which looked crisp in the case, though once bitten into, the wrapper had lost a bit of its crunch. That said, the filling was fresh, tasty, and generously portioned, with a satisfying stuffing-to-wrapping ratio. The Orange Chicken delivered on flavor with a bright, sweet citrus sauce and juicy chicken. However, the breading was on the heavier side. A second chicken dish - possibly a soy-glazed variety - was equally moist and had a bold, rich sauce that layered well with rice.

I travel a lot and this time when I stopped in MSP I was hungry! I have walked by this joint several times and today the smells captivated me. I picked the choose three combo and got Mongolian chicken, Peking chicken, and Bourbon chicken. All were hot and freshly made: Nothing special, thus the four star, but cheap by airport standards! Service is friendly and quick.

I should have read the reviews before we got food from this joint. We have been eating southern comfort and American food for the last 2 weeks. My daughter and I needed some Asian food in our lives. We ran into this and decided to grab a quick meal. The food options were looking scarce. You can tell the food had been sitting for a while. Some of the sauces were dried up in the dishes from sitting in the warming plate for so long. It was truly slim pickings but there were a couple options that looked decent. I asked the cashier if they would be making more food. It was a little after 9 and they close at 10. "No" she said. "The kitchen is closed". I got noodles with the orange chicken and Thai chicken curry. My daughter got the noodles with tofu, orange chicken and some green beans. I asked if the green beans count as a portion. There was barely any in the first place. That's why I asked her if they were making more. I'm happy she didn't consider it as a portion, I would have made her put it back. My daughter literally got 6 green beans and 1 of the 6 was actually a long stem. Needless to say, the food was not worth the money I paid. The noodles were flavorless and so oily. The orange chicken was definitely cooked earlier and had sat for a long time. It had gummy texture from the sauce sitting on the breading for too long. The Thai curry chicken did have good heat to it but the chicken was dry and not rich in curry. Just know there are so many food options in this airport before you make the same mistake and commit to this place. Don't do it. You're going to eat it, regret it and then have shoppers guilt for spending your hard earned money on this food. Go save yourself some money and eat at Chick Fil A.

Garlic green beans, fire cracker tofu, & vegetable fried rice

Really kind staff, gave me recommendations and also made change for me. Great vegetarian option (though I'm not sure if veg food made in different pans, but with airports I'm happy to find anything). Green beans are super good! Tofu was yummy. Vegetable fried rice was a nice surprise with sprouts, mushrooms, & scallions (no sad peas and carrots!)

The photo looks good but it was the WORST FOOD EVER. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I didn't have high expectations coming into this already seeing as how it's airport food, but holy cow it is the only time I've thrown out food because it's not worth the pain to keep trying to stomach it. Everything tasted off, from the rice to the meat to the sauce. I don't even know how to explain it - everything tasted weird like it was stale? Cooked in a pan with burnt residue? Reused some old oil? All of the above? I didn't think it was possible to mess up fried rice but here we are... 100% do NOT RECOMMEND.

Last month, I was at Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport (MSP), waiting to catch my flight home to Toronto. When I got to the airport, my flight was automatically 1.5 hours late. Nothing new. It's Air Canada. This mid-afternoon flight rarely gets cancelled, so I knew that I was good. I did need to grab a late lunch. Where should I go? After I cleared security, I made a right. I normally don't do that. It was time to explore a bit. I saw this Leeann Chin. It's across from the tram that takes you to most C gates. The Chinese restaurant chain has been around for eons. I had never stepped foot in one. It was time. This eatery has a bar. No one was drinking at around 3 pm. It felt like going to a food court to grab some fast food. I had a helpful man as I tried to figure out what protein I wanted. I did know that I wanted a protein with two sides. I got fried rice, bourbon chicken, and garlic soy green beans. I had an iced drink from Caribou Coffee with me, so I didn't need to get a beverage here. I paid with a credit card at the counter. The transaction was smooth. I got my food in a plastic container with a lid and plastic cutlery. I proceeded to find a spot facing the tram station, sit down, and enjoy my food. I like that there are outlets. I charged my phone as I ate. My food cost $12. It was pretty decent for the price. The fried rice was yummy. The bourbon chicken was flavourful and moist. The garlic soy green beans were the star. They were excellent. If I could order a huge bowl of them alone, I'd be in heaven. They were done perfectly. I loved the garlic and soy combination. I'm drooling as I recount how yummy these green beans were. As someone who is sensitive to salty food, I was fine with the sodium in this food. Other reviews have said that the food is overly salty. I did not down a ton of beverages after my meal. I spoke to a male staffer as I went to throw my empty container. He said to throw all my stuff into the garbage, even though there were different places to dispose of your recyclable items. He said that it didn't matter, which was funny and odd. He was friendly. I wished him a great day and went to explore the terminal some more. I'm glad that I checked this place out. It's good westernized Chinese food if you want fast food at a decent price. I'd return for more, especially when I have time to kill before my flight and I'm hungry. (363)

I was going to Panda Express but saw this restaurant was closer and similar so I gave it a try. Even with prepared lower expectations for airport food, this restaurant still managed to disappoint us. We ordered a plate with 3 entries: garlic soy string beans, sesame chicken, firecracker shrimps. The rice here is less than the amount that Panda Express gives you. Flavor-wise: -String beans were very salty. If they make it less salty, maybe it'll be more eatable -Sesame chicken and shrimps were decent. The place ambiance and seating is pretty good. Seems to be clean and spacious. Not sure if the bar is still open because no employees were standing in the bar area. Service was definitely not good. They're not rude but not friendly. After my order, they ran out of rice AND noodles. All people behind me had to wait for at least 10 minutes to get their food. For me, I had to wait ~10 before I could pay because they had some issues. If I had more time, I'd walk a little more to eat at Panda Express.

2 Item Combo. Noodles with Mongolian Chicken and Bourbon Chicken.

I was excited to find Leeann Chin during a long layover at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport. It is located just outside Concourse D. This place has its own private seating area. Leeann Chin is very similar to Panda Express but with 3- 4 variations of orange chicken. I ordered noodles with Mongolian Chicken and Bourbon Chicken. The 1 side + 2 entree combo cost about $10. Service was fast with minimal waiting. The chicken entrees taste as expected. The noodles were flavorful. My daughter's order of steam vegetables were raw. If you're hungry for Chinese mall food, then Leeann Chin will fulfill your craving.

Asian food in the airport. I had low expectations but it was worse than I expected. We got the you pick three and selected fried rice, firecracker shrimp 4/5, sesame chicken 3/4 and garlic soy green beans 1/5. Everything was overly salty. The firecracker shrimp was the best option I tried. They ran out of both noodles and fried rice and there was long line because no one could order until they made more. That took about 5 minutes for the noodles and 20 minutes for the rice. Service was not great. I think they were overwhelmed because there was a line and the food was not ready but they were not friendly at all. The manager had to come out a one point to help the cashier and he was rude to the employee, I felt bad for the cashier. They have a bar but no one staffing it so even if you wanted a drink you couldn't order one. They have a decent amount of seats and the tables were surprisingly clean because no employee were available to clean them. They were likely only clean because customers cleaned up after themselves. Overall I was not happy with the experience and would not come back.

Great price. Food is not bad, not great. 2 meat plate is $10 and 3 meat plate is $12.60.

We grabbed seats at their tiny 4-seat bar, which turned out to be the perfect spot for the evening. The service was fantastic from start to finish with everyone on the staff attentive, warm, and friendly. We went all-in and ordered the Potsticker Feast ($95): two of every kind of potsticker they make, plus all four dipping sauces, Ribeye Noodles, Korean Wings, General Tso's Chicken, and House Cucumbers. The potstickers were awesome but given the name of the place I was surprised that the real standouts were the other dishes. The ribeye was perfectly marinated and tender, tossed with a variety of vegetables and stir-fried noodles. The wings were terrific and the General Tso's was perfect. Don't sleep on the cucumbers either...smoky, spicy, and sweet, with peanuts and sauce. My favorite potstickers were the Beef & Carrots and the Kimchi Pork. If you're looking for scratch-made Asian fusion with great hospitality, Potsticker is hard to beat.

The server was very friendly and informative, even joked around with us a little. It didn't look like reservations were needed, except maybe on busy days like Mother's Day. The food was amazing. Potstickers were, of course, super good, but so was everything else. Portions were generous. I got the pork belly fried rice and I think I have enough leftovers for another three or four meals. There is a small parking lot in back, but you have to walk around the building to get to the door. I would say it is not handicapped friendly. If you park in back it would be hard to get to the door unless you are able to make it half way around the block. If you park in front it is just street parking. My dad uses a walker and we were lucky enough to get a spot right in front of the restaurant, anything else would have been a problem. Spacing inside the restaurant is pretty tight as well. Once dad sat down they had to take his walker into the back because there was no room in the seating area. We were packed in pretty tightly and very close to the table next to us. Overall, delicious food! We will be back!

The staff greeted every customer coming through the doors and service was prompt and friendly. We got fresh fruit teas, Thai milk tea, ramen and a don buri to try. The drinks were really fantastic--got them with less sugar and you can really taste the tea. The fresh fruit teas have bits of fruit at the bottom which adds to the freshness. The Thai milk tea is probably the best we've had in awhile and we order them fairly regularly. There was excellent tea flavor with just the right amount of sugar and cream (@25%sugar). Highly recommend. The ramens were both very solid. Noodles had great texture, the char siu was well cooked with a nice sear, and the egg was just the right amount of runny. The broth had great depth of flavor but was a bit on the salty side. The spicy miso ramen was spicy for me but my husband could barely taste the spice. The beef donburi had well cooked thin slice beef and the rice was cooked to just the right texture. I wish there was a bit more sauce from the beef to soak into the rice, but that was minor. 4.5 for food. 5.0 for drinks, 5.0 for the ambiance and service--overall a 5 star find and we will definitely be back!
