I was referred to Lee's, so I was confident I'd be pleased, and I am. Raymond arrived on time (a little early, actually) for an HVAC check-up. Unfortunately, I didn't have info from the last people I used, who are now out of business, so it ended up costing more than just a check-up because he was unable to compare to what was done before, but I appreciate that it'll hopefully save the trouble of having to replace the whole unit. There estimator-technician arrived the same day we called and offered a next day installation. After getting a written estimate and a complete explanation of the work to be done, a crew of 3 highly skilled technicians were on the job the next day, and were able to replace the old system including ductwork with new - all in the same day. Before leaving the property, the crew ran a performance test to verify a proper installation, which it passed with flying colors. No mess was made during the installation, and all the old equipment and waste was removed before the installation crew left the property. I have a mini-split A/C system in my home, as it is much more efficient and much less costly to operate. I called around, looked in Yelp, and received a wide variety of responses to my simple request of simply topping off my 410A Freon. I knew what I wanted. Just about everyone wanted to up-sell me to a more modern and expensive system. Plumbing and HVAC is notorious for that bait-and-switch fear-inducing game. Then I was fortunate to speak with several members of the office staff of Lee's HVAC: Brianna, Steve, Brenda and Anna - all were great. They understood what I wanted, not what THEY wanted. They quoted me the labor cost as well as the cost of the 410 Freon per pound, (that is the honest method of selling Freon). Raymond, the technician came to my home, fully equipped with the tools, Freon and great wisdom. Within 5 minutes of arriving, Raymond attached his necessary gauges, installed the needed Freon, and everything worked as it should. Raymond was exceptional: friendly, knowledgeable, explained everything very well, arrived on time and departed with a smile. I had a big smile too. Lee and Jose were amazing! I have been unable to keep my family room cool during these hot valley summers. The roof isn't insulated and the current system just can't keep up. They had a very fast turnaround getting a mini splitter in and it works so well, my main HVAC actually gets turned off during the day and I just use the unit in the family room (I don't need to be in the back part of the house so I leave the HVAC on 78 just to keep it tolerable, but it really doesn't kick on). I can cool off my main living area in about 15-20 minutes and then turn it down to maintain a comfortable temperature without stressing my electric bill. Super glad we did this as we were talking about moving if we couldn't get the house to a comfortable place. read more

During a recent heat wave in Woodland Hills, my HVAC system shut down. Found Lee's on YELP, called after reading the customer reviews. Called late evening and spoke to Lee, himself. Lee was very professional and worked with me on a time to send a tech out. Of course I wanted ASAP and Lee was accommodating, even in a heat wave. So off to a good start. They kept me updated w phone calls and text the morning of, and arrived exactly on time. The gentleman who arrived, Edaan, confirmed my worst fear. My unit was trash. He took the time to inspect the attic and the unit on the roof, which is rarely done. I suspected that I needed a new unit, since I had already replaced every part on the unit. Although I still wasn't prepared to start from scratch, Edaan seemed honest and knowledgeable. Easy, professional, financing was available, and the installation crew arrived about 2 hours later ready to go!!!!! The installation was mostly done the same day, including a crane removing the existing unit, and dropping off the new unit on the roof. The owner Lee, even took the time to text me early the next morning to check in, seeing if I had any issues!!!!! Seems to stand by their work, which is very rare, especially in the HVAC industry.
