Stay away !! I ordered Mongolian Beef entree to take out. I got home, opened the box and it was filled with meat, hot freshly made. But when I served the first plate and started digging, the bottom half was filled with cold meat ! God knows how long this cooked meat was sitting in the fridge ! and the smell was bad !! These people are thieves. This was the worst bar experience I've ever had. Staff was rude and short with us, walked Out on us mid order too smoke. we ordered 4 drinks and got charged for 5. Had been going to this bar for Karaoke on Tuesday nights for over a month. Drinks were good, Jell-O shots were great. One night we decided not to drink and ask for water and was refused by the bar tender. She was very rude and treated customers rudely, she has a reputation of being rude and unfriendly. I didn't believe it at first but now I do!!! Even her co-workers said they don't like working with her cause of her attitude. So, I don't live in the Tri Cities, but I come to visit friends and family once or twice a year (mostly during the holidays), so I haven't been able to imbibe here before nor have I been here for karaoke either. But just wait til next year, we'll be baack. 5 stars given solely on the fact that this is a fun place to go as a dive bar and nothing more. When we walked in the main door around noon and an Asian descent man just glared at me when we bee-lined for the bar. Hmmm. Bar: cute crescent moon booths and ancient analog TV's up in the corner of the room showing old reruns of Bonanza. Just from the appearance of the restaurant and the fact that no one was eating lunch... I surmised that I would be very afraid to eat here. The alcohol pours however were quite strong and we were extremely happy. Something I noticed about the mensroom- while it was fairly clean, however it did still have that toilet sewer smell... Ooh, that smell, ... The toilet room was very small, I'm not sure if it was even A.D.A. compliant. Not only that, the commode was actually smaller than a normal sized toilet. Seriously- I didn't fit on it. I do not know how a larger sized person could fit on it. Oh, one other thing- no a$$ gaskets- not even a holder for one, so you have to line the seat with TP. GROSS!!! Went here this past Saturday night for my little brother's birthday (Happy Birthday, Joe!). Much about this place has already been said. Yes, dive-bar-ish. Yes, strong drinks. Yes, cheap drinks. Yes, bad Chinese food. Yes, tacky decor. However, Lee's has karaoke! And Pendleton whiskey! The karaoke is set up differently than any other place I've been to. There are no books with songs and band lists. Instead, it is all digital--the KJ has a laptop with (apparently) 19,000 songs on it. You tell him your name and what you want to sing and he adds you to the rotation. Needless to say this takes some getting used to--I generally use the song books as inspiration. So if you're going here to sing, make sure you have an idea and/or list of what you want to sing, because you won't be able to look it up when you're there. I had General Tso's chicken and Ms. K. had sweet and sour chicken. Neither was great--I would say about average in the grand scheme of things. Ms. K. and Jaime each had what was supposed to be an Alabama Slammer. But it turned out to be something along the lines of Robitussin in 80 proof form. They were both troopers, however, and forced them down. The karaoke was a lot of fun. If you're looking for a good place to karaoke--this is a great alternative. If you're looking for good Chinese food--this is not a good option. If you're looking for well-made, balanced cocktails--this is not a good option. If you're looking for cheap, strong drinks--this is the place for you. read more

I took my little brother here for his 21st. We went some other places but the T-Room was definitely the end goal/highlight. The whiskey sours were strong and good. The digital jukebox has an unbelievable selection. It even had Girl Talk, whose albums are barely legal. One guy was kinda trying to start shit with me, but I the bouncer came over, and I think when I went to the bathroom, kicked him out. The back of the building has been spruced up a bit since the last time I'd been there, with a paint job, a sign and some flashing lights. The old bench seat from a van leaning up against a tin shack next to the dumpster have been replaced with two wooden benches. I spend every couple Saturday nights here. The drinks are strong and always taste good. The bartenders are kind if you tip generously. They're not mid-twenty scantily clad bartenders, either, so you don't have to deal with the whole "I'm only serving women with large knockers" or "men with big wallets" mentality. I'm only knocking it down a start because it's super crowded and it can occasionally take a while to get a drink. The bar space itself is small so you can be crammed 6 people deep trying to order. Seating is another problem. You've got by the door/bar or over in the karaoke/pool area. On busy nights, I've never seen the pool table get used so it'd be nice if they moved it to the other side of the building (in the non-used restaurant at night) for those busy nights to get some sitting space. Over all, I love this bar. It was my first bar when I turned 21. Where I had my first drink, my first alone bar outing, and first place I've sung karaoke. read more

This review is mainly for the bar. The most important thing to note, the drinks are good and stiff and will stay that way if you tip your bar tenders. They are working hard and do a damn fine job. The drinks average out to about 5$ and they offer 1$ Jell-O shots. Karaoke is fun and almost always a good time. They will be guaranteed to get crowded after 10:30 on the weekends, so come early for a seat. If you enjoy people watching and dive bars, this is your kind of place. The crowd changes from week to week, but still has its regulars. The decor is retro tiki bar and it's so fabulous I almost can't stand it! Also as a side note, but important feature, their bathrooms have always been clean. Always. Now, the food. Not that great. Keep in mind, when you're drinking and having a good time, their bar menu does hit the spot for sure. I just wouldn't go out of my way to eat here when I'm craving Chinese food. So, tip well, come early or late depending on what kind of crowd you desire, eat off of the bar menu, and enjoy the kitschy dive bar mecca that is Lee's Tahitian. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Went there for quick beers with friends and got those no issue. My fiance went to ask the bartender for a glass of water and was told it was $2.50 incredibly rudely. The bartender stated "that's policy if you have a problem you can talk to the manager!" as she walked away from him. He wasn't asking for a bottle of water just from the tap and was told it's policy after 9pm to charge $2.50 for water. What in the hell kind of policy is this especially after the group of 6 of us had ordered beers?! Then the manager came out and was discussing this issue further with my friend, again, incredibly rudely. They stuck to the policy, but did finally give her a glass of water. Needless to say we will not be returning here. We headed to Silos where we got copious amounts of water for free after 9pm. read more

I never thought my favorite bar would be located in the back room of Tahitian restaurant... However it's cheap drinks made with an extra splash seem to keep me coming back for more. Unfortunately, after my horrible experience at Lee's, mind you, I was a frequent customer, I no longer want their service. The bartender, Yvonne,at least that's what she said her name was, was unprofessional, ignorant and a thief. I had stood at the bar for 15 minutes, she did not acknowledge me, I was able to order my beverage from another bartender and after I put my drink on the table, she ran over to where my friends and I were socializing and snatched the drink from the table. I was not provided any information for the reason or purpose. Security did not ask her what the situation was, my friends and I were kicked out. Before any of this occurred, she abruptly went up to our table and was upset because one of my friends did not sign her bill, but she was not given a pen and only given the receipt. I hope Lee's will solve future incidents like this from happening. read more

My husband and I have worked in the food industry for twenty plus years, and we have never felt so compelled to give a bad review to a restaurant as we are now for Lee's Tahitian in Richland, Washington. We have actually eaten lunch there three other times...all three times on Sunday afternoons...and all three times we enjoyed our meals. It wasn't until tonight when we ordered dinner to go that we realized something was very different in a very bad way. We ordered five or six dishes to take home...some the same as we had eaten previously...some new ones...but when we got home and opened up our dinner boxes, we could tell right off the bat just by looking at the food that it wasn't cooked properly. The thing that stuck out the most was the oddly white color of the so called tempura batter on the fried prawns and almond chicken. Not only was the batter bland looking, but it was also extremely bland tasting as well. I don't think there was even one single grain of salt in it, much less any other kind of seasoning. The next thing we noticed was the Mongolian beef...normally one of our favorite recipes. Unfortunately this time, even though it looked yummy, it tasted horrible...as we are fairly certain that the cook made it with some sort of odd tasting sweet and sour sauce! This obviously ruined the entire dish. As we continued to taste the other dishes, we took note of how bland and dry they all were...especially the barbequed pork and beef and broccoli. Nearly everything we bought was inedible, and we felt like we had wasted a much needed $50. So, I did what I thought I should do and called the restaurant to make a complaint and try to make sense of what was going on, as my husband the chef had thought maybe they had hired a new and inexperienced cook or something. We'd totally understand if that were the case of course, and we would also be happy to give him or her a second chance to redeem themselves. However...and this is what made the overall experience so bad...when I called to make the complaint, I was told by the manager called Jennifer that the person who had cooked our dinner tonight was the same cook they always had and that I must be mistaken, because the sauces and batter and everything else was the exact same as it had always been. I was also told that I would have to come back on Sunday afternoon to speak with the owner, whose name is Ming, if I wanted anything to be dine about the problem, because the current chef did not speak any English. I was naturally a bit offended by this person's lackadaisical attitude and her quickness to blame the customer's senses, but I quickly realized the issue after just a few seconds of listening that the reason for such a big difference between our previous Sunday afternoon lunches and tonight's dinner was the simple fact that one person cooks six days of the week and the owner, Ming, cooks on Sundays! Just to be clear, the owner's food is delicious, as we had experienced it three times already, but the other cook that's there the rest of the week either can't cook or doesn't care how his food tastes...one of the two. My hubby and me will be paying a visit to Lee's Tahitian this coming Sunday to speak with Ming the owner to let him know about our entire experience, and hopefully we will be getting a refund or a really good meal on the house. Whichever way things unfold, I'll come back ro Yelp to finish my review...hopefully to add more stars and a happy ending and not to advise others of poor quality food and service. Bartenders are great the bouncer and owners are discriminating jerks and don't serve disabled people with service dogs. I have a disability and have a service dog. She is licensed and registered and they said they refuse service to me because I have a service dog and kicked me out. By law my service dog is a loud in any public place. I called the owners to let then know and he had nothing to say to me not even oppoligize. I will take my business else where read more

Lee's is one of those places that is just always a good time. How can you go wrong with stiff drinks, karaoke, pool and good music (when there's no karaoke)? You can't. I haven't had the food at this bar but the drinks are pretty bad. A group of friends and I went there and they were extremely strong but tasted terrible. They also weren't that cheap. For 2 rail drinks it was $9, which isn't terrible on a friday night but I was expecting a little better There is a pool table so that is a positive. It is also nice that they have two different bars in different rooms, it spices things up a bit. As for the bartenders, they were much less than friendly. I figured it was just a busy night but they definitely didn't add to the experience. I just left Lee's T-Room. IT WAS THE WORSE CHINESE FOOD I've ever eaten! The food was ice cold. Asked to have it warmed ... it came back even colder from sitting in the back. We had to ask for our soup. My husband had the hot sweet and sour and he said, that it was temp. hot ... with no flavor at all! My egg flower soup? It too was tasteless. We never got our tea. We ordered Rumoki and they no longer carry it even though it's still on the menu. I can say ... the egg rolls were hot and good. The rest we brought home to HEAT and DOCTOR to make it eatble! I went there for the first time with a friend as part of her last night out before she moved far far away for the karaoke. It was jam packed with people hanging out, singing, dancing, drinking, and having a gooooooood time. There was a huge variety of people there so there is no need to feel like an outsider whether you're in a fancy dress and high heels or cut off tank top and dirty boots. There is a pool table if you wanna shoot, and a bar if you wanna take shots. I like to sing karaoke but I am a bit shy, singing there was the first time I ever got any real positive energy from the crowd - they were all singing and dancing along. One girl even shouted "YOU SING IT, GIRL!" It was so much fun. Everyone seems to know each other and accept newbies such as myself as part of their little family. read more
