I had my first visit to this location today and I'll definitely be back! The ambience was calming and what I would expect of a salon. Everything was very clean and organized. I got NexGen and decided to branch out and try chrome. My technician was very polite and asked me questions so that we were on the same page for what I wanted. She was very gentle and didn't knick my cuticle when she was working. There isn't glue or left overs under my nails and they feel very smooth. I super happy with them. I wasn't offered a beverage but others around me were. That's my only complaint. But that's not a big deal. Thanks for the awesome nails! I'm getting great compliments. I had a pedicure and dip nails done. They did both at the same time. It definitely cut back on enjoying the pedicure. I have to pay for both services but to save time for them, they expedited the process. I didn't like that. I got a French dip powder and it looked nice but cracked and lifted in less than a week. This has to be because he made them so thin. For the price, and the promise of durability, I should have them last a few weeks. Also, my toenail polish is super thin, as well. I'm just not a fan of either of the services I got. The girl doing my pedicure talked to the people working next to her the entire time and of course I couldn't understand a word. It just made me feel so out of place. I'll go somewhere else next time. Somewhere that will appreciate me being there and use the proper amount of product. Actually, in response to the manager response: Excellent work gets excellent reviews. Your techs work was not excellent. I should never have to ask for a good job-it should just ALWAYS be given. Why should I have to ask for more coats of powder or color?! Are you serious? There is a standard and your team is below it. It saves product...maybe that's why they did it this way. You have pedicure chairs and manicure tables. Not mani-pedi table chairs. Ever think about why that would be? To put your customer in such an awkward situation is less than professional and certainly not cordial. You tech talking to your other employees-no matter who sat down next to her was nothing less than rude. Your response? Also rude. My review stands and now I have a better understanding of why I got the treatment I did since this is how you behave. read more

This was my first visit to Legacy, and they did not disappoint. Chi Chi did a beautiful job of replicating a reference photo I provided. She communicated with me throughout, asking if the lengths looked good and if I liked them. The woman at the front desk was incredibly polite and even walked over to us to check and see how everything was going and asked if I liked how my nails looked so far. They were very accommodating and they took me immediately as a walk-in customer. I love my nails and would recommend Legacy to others. read more

I generally do not leave reviews for nail salons because there's so much variability each visit depending on who your technician is. That being said, this review is based on the salon atmosphere and Cat. Atmosphere: modern, professional and clean salon. You're offered champagne, wine, or non-alcoholic beverage each visit. The tools used for mani/pedi always come out of sanitized bags and or is new. This is really important bc I've had toe fungus from a pedi before. And the technicians do not talk/yell amongst themselves about clients. Technician: my go to person is Cat - I can't speak for others. I have eczema on my hands and feet so I constantly have dead, peeling skin; esp under the toes. Cat is so detailed and does a phenomenal job each time, she really takes pride in her work. She doesn't rush and makes sure you're satisfied. Give her a try, you won't be sorry. read more

I intially wrote a review at the nail salon and the manager (Angel/Angelina) just happen to get a notification about my review and offered me a 10% discount for the poor job/service. But as I'm home and really looking at my nails and my husbands nails, I have to post this because it is one of the worst mani/pedi I have ever received. The man that did my mani/pedi cut my toe and two of my fingers. He was rough even after my numerious comments of ouch. That wasn't even the worse part. My mani/pedi were done so poorly. The paint job and shape look so sad. Uneven paint and no proper shape to my nails. I had multiple bubbles within the polish which the manager tried fo fix. I haven't gotten my nails done in a while and I was really looking forward to this service being very pregnant and just wanting to get a little pampered. That was not the case here. Ontop of that, the mani I got came with a hand massage. I didn't get a hand massage at all. The pedi came with an 8 minute massage and I got maybe a 2 minute massage. The manager, Angel, mentioned several times that due to the weather several of her employees didn't show up. That's great but I called in advance and made an appt. So what's the excuse to the terrible service I received? Unfortunately, the 10% discount I got was not justifiable for my experience as I'm sitting here removing the nail polish I just got done and trying to salvage my nails the best possible. This deserved a straight refund. Honestly, go elsewhere as there are a TON of nail salons around. Read the negative reviews to truly understand the service. Came because of the rave reviews, and was not disappointed. Walked in with a friend, neither of us had appointments for the middle of the week around 6pm. Though they were reasonably busy, they sat us right away and took care of our mani pedis, even staying almost 30 minutes past closing to finish us up! My friend's technician was definitely friendlier than mine, but I totally understand being tired at the end of the day! My technician was still polite and did a great job on all my nails. There was some confusion about which mani/pedi options I selected, because I told a technician who didn't end up doing my nails, and it seemed like the information didn't get relayed correctly. If I hadn't been paying attention, I would not have gotten what I asked for. Which was important, because the reason for my visit was the manicure I chose and thoroughly enjoyed! I would come in and pay for the hand massage alone. Prices are not cheap, but comparatively not too expensive. Especially when you consider what you are getting. The salon itself is really nicely decorated, and has a really soothing effect with the water feature, great massage chairs, and complimentary beverages. I live in Denton, but I was in Plano for a doctor appointment. I stopped here to kill time to avoid traffic, and Michelle did my gel manicure. She did an amazing job! I've been to 3 places in Denton and haven't been happy with them. I'm definitely considering driving an hour just to come see Michelle! I can be a perfectionist, so I appreciate her attention to detail and patience with me. Terrible customer service. Came in with my sisters to get dip done- the nail technicians hardly said a word to us. They were rough on my fingers and seemed like they were in a hurry... it was 9:30- and the place was empty. Even if it was busy, no way to treat your customers! Offered us something to drink and when we said we would take mimosas, she mentioned the other lady would have to go get orange juice... so I guess no mimosas? With dip nails, they provide no cuticle treatment- didn't even give us cuticle oil?! Nail shaping was poor too- they just did whatever they wanted and didn't even CLEAN UP the product residue on our fingers. If you're thinking about coming here for a relaxing time, think again! i came here for the first time and honestly it wasn't that great. the price is decent! i got dip with tips and a pedicure. it was done less than an hour because i had two people doing both hands and feet at the same time which i didn't mind. my only issue is that my nails didn't look so great! it was very uneven and some nails were longer than others and it's bumpy. it's also somewhat thin and i feel like they're going to break easily. i also didn't know which color to pick and the one i got wasn't my favorite (which is my fault) but other than that, it's decent. i would come back again. lastly, i got the classic pedicure which is great but be careful when you start walking because they put some type of oil at the bottom of your feet and i almost slipped! read more

Moved to the Legacy West area from Dallas so needed to find a new nail salon. This was my first time getting my nails done since Covid. Reached around 6:25pm on a Monday and was told there was a bit of a wait. So, I waited around. About 6:40, I was put in a chair by the male owner/manager. He proceeded to give me a book and ask what kind of pedicure I wanted, no smile no friendliness. Right in front of me was the drink bar, but I was never asked if I wanted anything to drink. I waited around about another 10 min for the lady ,who was working the front when I came in, to eventually come over and start working on my nails. She did a quick but decent job. Clean average salon but I miss the service from the salon I used to go to in Dallas. Time to make the trek back there read more

I arrived for my appointment. The pedicure lady came over to speak to me about my choice in pedicures which was written down on a form. I confirmed and then she tried to change my selection to one that was 12.00 more. I said no. After that the technician informed me that if I did not get gel nails which were an additional charge of around 20.00 or more, that my toenails would not dry for two and a half hours. What a crock. i am surprised the establishment would tolerate this behavior from this employee and she would not stop trying to upsell me. Time and time again- four times. Lastly a bowl of acetone was given to me to soak off my next gen nails. If I were getting a pedicure, do you know how unpleasant and uncomfortable it is to have that bowl in your lap and take a leg out of the pedicure tub and place the leg back into the pedicure tub. This is not relaxing. You have to be careful and this is not safe and could spill all over you. I got up and left. I had my nails and toe nails done three weeks ago at this same salon. The experience was wonderful. but oddly enough both the nail and toenail technicians who did the work three weeks ago no longer work there. I don't feel comfortable with this place. Why do you think good employees are leaving? There must be a reason. read more

We are very unhappy with my and my husbands treatment today. We got there around 6:30. Before I left my house I called to make sure it would be okay to get two pedicures because they close at 7:30. They assured me that it would be okay and we could pick whichever pedicures we wanted. Well... we picked the most expensive pedicure which included a bunch of stuff including collagen socks, paraffin wax, and a 30 MINUTE hot stone massage - which was emphasized. Well, from when I got to the chair (with the staff fidgeting around) to when I left, the whole process took 45 minutes. I timed my hot stone because everything was already so rushed that I knew it wasn't gonna be 30 minutes long... well it wasn't. It was 15 minutes long. My nails didn't get filed or cut (until after nail polish application bc she was rushing that much). I also realized they never did the paraffin wax, when we brought it to their attention, they said they did collagen socks so don't do the wax. EXCEPT IT WAS ALL WRITTEN ON THEIR MENU! It was extremely rushed. And for half the treatment, I paid FULL price! I would've been okay with them telling me what they had time to do instead of half-assing the whole process and charging me full price. I used to recommend this place to my friends but never again. This is the last time I will ever be back. Very disappointed. Also... I never received my water. read more
