We tried two kinds: the leg cutlet and the legend chicken. When ordering, you select the spicy level: mild, medium or hot. It really is a large portion so be ready to eat a lot or potentially share if you're looking for a snack! This chicken tastes best when freshly fried and is both crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It's well seasoned and we tried both mild and medium for variety. Medium has a pleasant kick but is still tolerable though we probably both preferred the mild. Mild allowed the seasoning to shine through more. Between the different cuts of chicken, the dark meat (leg cutlet) was definitely tastier since the meat was more juicy than the legend cut (prob breast meat). The chicken comes in a folded piece of paper reminiscent of old style fish and chips wrapping. The location even provides disposable gloves to eat with since it can get pretty messy and this is definitely easier to eat with your hands. Be careful because the chicken can be very hot when it comes out of the fryer! Overall, if you're a fan of fried chicken, you'll definitely enjoy this spot. Important thing to note is that most places that have Taiwanese fried chicken uses chicken thighs but this place uses white-meat tenderloins so the chicken is a bit firmer in texture and drier compared to if thighs were used. Sadly had to dock off a star here for being served COLD chicken. I ordered their #1 seller Legend Pops (crispy Taiwanese-style bite sized popcorn chicken), which is proudly marketed as being freshly cooked-to-order. There's even a sign stating that any chicken dish may take up to 10 minutes for cooking time. Once I received the order, my boyfriend tried a piece and it was completely cold, but thankfully (or hopefully) the chicken itself looked cooked inside. I tried a piece and it was warm, but my second piece was cold. The entire box seemed like it had a mix of warm and cold pieces of chicken in it. We brought up the issue with the servers and they even touched a piece and confirmed that the chicken was cold.
