This last time we went, the order came out incorrect, the onion rings were overly breaded and nearly inedible, the taquitos were so hard that I nearly broke a tooth. So I really like the food here. I have pretty much tried almost everything. I highly reccomend the deep fried mushrooms with ranch. The burgers and crispy chicken sandwich is delicious also. I unfortunately have to give legends a low rating this time. When we came last time i asked if they were going to make fried chilis in the chili bar. The guy said yes but never made them, then i saw the cooks use their hands. I don't see what's wrong with wearing gloves. I asked for my money back from the manager because i felt grossed out to eat my meal. He refunded me only for the burrito and not the zucchini fries despite me leaving a good portion of them and i asked for a refund of my whole meal. The manager said ok and told me that he's sure the cooks wash their hands all the time before preparing food. Im sorry. There is no way to guarantee they are washing their hands everytime they are coming into the kitchen. Just because you have not had a sick customer doesn't mean its sanitary. I've been coming to Legends for years. Their food is absolutely delicious my kids love this place. However my last 2 visits this month via drive thru have not been very pleasant. The young girl taking orders in the evenings on drive thru is the RUDEST!!! She huffed and puffed because I placed 2 separate orders everyone clearly heard her huff and puff;So I just ignored it! Came in a second time 2 weeks later and again the attitude. I was trying to place order and she kept on interrupting me 4 times to be exact that she couldn't hear me. I had not even finished my 1st word when she rudely said " I can't hear you" and again still can't hear you. Well if she would let me finish my first word maybe she would be able to hear me. This place is a flashback to the 50s. Food is mostly decent (the grilled cheese sandwich was somewhat burnt but edible), the fries were good, the hamburger excellent, the dipping dressing was very good... ...but the music was TOO LOUD. I will be back but I will have my shooting ear protection in the car if it is needed. ** Update** It's about two years later, and again I was next door at Social Security, my business there was complete, and it was time for lunch... My wife wasn't with me so there was no grilled cheese involved on this trip... Well,it looks like there's been a 100% staff turnover... The order-taker was pleasant, he got the order right. The food is made to order (no heat lamps). They give you a number card when you place the order and they bring the order to your table. The food was excellent (double hamburger with mushrooms). LEGENDS.....YUMMY!! Went there today for lunch. I had the Carne Asada Taco w/tortilla chips. The meat was so good! This was the first time I had the taco, tho I have had the burrito before....tasty! And the price was right at $3.25. My hubby had his usual Egg Breakfast Burrito. He loves them!! Egg...potato....cheese...huge! We have never had a bad choice at Legends! Situated in East Glendora, Legends is the place to go for classic American food, as well a few Mexican food, for an affordable price! Its quality is better and quantity is more than what you would get at McDonald's. I usually come here for their avocado salad and grilled chicken salad. I like their warm and buttery pita bread that comes with the salads. my friends rave about their hamburgers and fries. the interior is amusing with 50's decorations. a only downside is that it can get crowded in the afternoon with annoying kids running around. read more

All I can say is WOW! It Sucks. The doable hamburger had about as much meat as a single McDonald's hamburger. And that was too much. It was bland and sat like a rock. It took me about 45 minutes to finish it because it was not good. The chicken fingers were pre made, just like their bullseye BBQ sauce. I've been coming to Legends since it opened, I'm a huge fan of their salads, And their ranch is some of the best. Its creamy and wonderful. A perfect addition to most foods in my opinion. Their chicken strips are fantastic, I suggest the chicken strips combo. Its fries a drink, salad, and three strips. For a VERY low price. The malts are delicious as well. The burgers are a bit odd tasting to me, though. And the breakfast sandwhiches are greasy, But huge.. All in all, I recommend it. She argued that she gave it to me with my card- it was in her hand. After having identity theft in the past, I always get my receipt. First time and last time coming here. I liked the 50's decor, but that's where it ended. My wife and I did not have an enjoyable experience. The service was unpredictable and unattended. We waited at the soda counter for 30 minutes before the waitress decided to tell us that we had to stand in line for a Malt. We had a long drive up from San Diego and we were both weary from the road. We placed our order and sat down at a both. When the waiter brought us our Malts they were in PAPER CUPS!! NOT GLASS.
