We came in when there was hardly anyone there. Waitress delivered a cup of coffee that was cold - not lukewarm, cold. We waited 15-20 minutes at least for her to take our order. Last year I am so sick of the absolute incompetence in ordering food. If I wanted breaded chicken nuggets I'd have order them. But since I am on KETO I order bone in wings. I'm honestly surprised by the positive reviews for this location. I stopped in to meet a group who had picked this spot for a Saturday lunch meet up. They were not terribly busy so we were seated quickly. Service was very attentive and friendly, I'll give them that. The restaurant itself has a very standard sports bar vibe. I don't know that it necessarily was dirty but it felt a little like it. The primary reason for my rating is simply because the food was not good at all. Our group ordered chips and queso to share, and the queso came out so watery. It was like cheese juice - I don't know how else to describe it. I ordered a chicken wrap that was mediocre at best, though the fries were food. My husband, who generally eats anything without complaint, got the nachos which even he labeled not good. The meat was not seasoned and the chips were stale. We could both barely eat them. Overall, I was just really disappointed in the food. It was a tough way to spend $40. Loved the drinks, liked the relaxed atmosphere. Ordered the patty melt and the patty was ENORMOUS, which to some would be awesome, but it was too much meat in my opinion. Good flavor and super hot and fresh, but could barely eat half. The fries were... interesting. They had that nice coating of batter that I love, but they had a weird taste of like, pickles or something. The pizza looked AMAZING though and next time I will get that. Service was okay, ordered a side of ranch that never came but showed up on the bill. We were stopping through on a road trip and tried this place out since we were staying at the hotel nearby. The service was not friendly or helpful, she was definitely just doing the minimum job. Both of our adult entrees were so bad we didn't eat them and the kids grilled cheese was literally toast with a slice of cheese, no butter was put on the bread and no pan was used in my opinion. The food was great. We started off with an appetizer sampler. Absolutely loved the cheese curds. The fried ravioli was tasty as well. I had a Southwest Chicken Wrap with potato salad on the side. My soon to be daughter-in-law lives close to Legends Patio Grill and Bar and it was on her recommendation that we ventured a little further north than we usually travel for a quick bite to eat. Patio diners were enjoying the sunshine. But we opted to eat inside so my husband could follow a baseball game on one of the large screen televisions that circle the upper half of the interior. We were warmly greeted by Dejah. who also turned out to be our server. This amazing young lady took our orders, quickly brought our drinks and checked on us multiple times during our visit. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries and my husband ordered the chicken fried steak special. My Philly was huge, (I took half home) and had just the right balance of mushrooms, peppers and onions. The seasoned fries were also spot on. My husband's chicken fried steak was ok, but he regretted not ordering the Philly when he saw my order. He expected corn but they subbed green beans and the entre was a little thinner than anticipated. We received excellent service and my meal was perfect. We will be back and both of us will probably be ordering the Philly--or possibly splitting one order based on the belt buster size! read more

We're Nebraska natives. Omaha is still our home. Our select baseball participation brought us near legends. It just so happened baseball coincided with our 10 year north high reunion being held at legends later in our visit. Upon arrival, after situating our comforts at the hotel, we where encouraged to patron legends right around the corner. Happy hour was happening. We assumed a need to be directed by a host, a sign or staff in some way like every other restaurant on earth. Waitstaff upon passing did notice us and encourage us to seat ourselves pointing out the one avaliable table. A sign saying seat yourself would been practical and helpful for all parties involved. Most guest in society expect such direction when patronizing unfamiliar establishments. We witnessed our host/waiter that greeted us notify the server responsible of his new guest and watched him handle 3 different tables needs landing at us en route. He announced the happy hour sale and daily special. We where impressed, took advantage of the happy hour specials, apps and drinks. Our drinks came in glassware, our plates came as paper plates. Our waiter apologized for the paper plates, announced it's the best i've got right now. Our appetizers arrived and we ordered another round of drinks for the adults. A tray of drinks in plastic cups arrived. My brother and husband made a comment to the server "we get demoted to paper and plastic?" jokingly. I instantly felt sorry for our server. He encouraged us to write an online review insisting it would help everyone. Our following visit was our reunion, and we all had a blast, everyone was happy. Paper and plastic was served entirely but expected for such a party. As a restaurant owner myself, and a guest of yours, completely happy with the environment an ill-equipped staff ultimately cultivated. Do your staff, your community, your bottom line... a favor. Provide the tools necessary to your front of house for them to sell. Paper/plastic table wear is a ridiculous expectation for your sales force to overcome. 4.5* for service and environment 3* for plate value read more

Came during Covid-19 to celebrate my sister's bday. We had blast. Very open bar and social distancing was in place. We had a great happy hour and several shots. Food was discounted during Happy Hour. First time here in forever. Just want to say it was a Tuesday night and pretty casual the entire night. Picked up w/ more people as the night went but I was gone by 8:00pm. I had 2 tall beers (at the price of the smaller ones) to drink and I got the fish and chips for my meal. Th fish and chips were better than average but not awesome'. Not complaining really just dropping facts. ;) It settled me nicely for the evening and was a large portion. I got coleslaw as a side and I looooove cole slaw. This was different but ok. Mayonnaise based FYI, and a tad peppery. It was decent too. I left happy but got to say what I enjoyed most was my waiter. Super nice, very prompt and extremely attentive. I'd hire that guy for my 5 star restaurant if I had one. Wish I would have gotten his name.... but I'll look for him next time and sit in his area. Thin guy, tattoos and a long hair pony tail. Had lunch here with my wife and son. Service was great! We were greeted right away and had drinks in a matter of minutes. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger and it was really good! Fries were seasoned well and hot! We sat on the patio which was nice, it wasn't too hot and they had fans outside to help with a breeze. Nice little bar and grill. I wish I had something good to say about the event I hosted last night for my daughter as we celebrated her WEDDING. We love Legends as well as the rest of the family, so picking a small, last minute venue to follow her elopement ceremony, it was perfect and we were excited. Leading up to the event we had planned a platter of food, veggies, and really just finger food for everyone to pick at while saying hello to the new couple. Unfortunately we learned very quickly that was all we were going to get. The waitress that was overseeing the event (wish we remembered her name) did the absolute bare minimum with an attitude and no hospitality. During middle of greetings of guests as they entered through the doors, we would find ourselves being interrupted with a "Hi what can I get you to drink and a name for the tab?" In addition, food was running out and we wanted to put in orders for pizza, or something more to provide to guests, and we were told we had to order in the seating area because our order would back up the kitchen. This meant we had half of our party having to go into the other room, flooding the bar, to put in their individual food orders. Not to mention, once this was done we were told that food from the outdoor seating area were NOT ALLOWED back into the venue area. So again, not only did we have half of our guests leaving the area to order food, then they were told they were no longer allowed back in. Made no sense. Mind you, this is a Sunday evening we are celebrating so there wasn't a lot of people in the building other than our party. If the waitress interrupting during initial greetings during the event, she also made sure to tell the bride that she was not allowed to buy a shot from the bar because she was our waitress, not the bartender. To end the evening, we found ourselves upset because we felt like we weren't given the opportunity to provide a good experience for our friends and family for this dinner, but that the waitress's attitude and customer service was the primary topic of conversation. We received our bill to close out food that was discussed, only to see that all sodas were a part of this tab. We didn't mind because at this point we were over the evening and wanted to be done with our waitress, but we were not told that this charge was something we covered, it was just assumed. We were told people's tabs weren't paid, so when we went to pay up tabs we found out from the bartender that they were paid only to get a half apology from the waitress for her error on telling us misinformation about tabs. Overall, this evening was supposed to be something we raved about to friends and family about Legends, but the business put such a sour taste in all of our guests mouth because of their poor choice of waitress for the evening. If they are over worked, or not in the mood to host a special evening for paying customers, then I highly recommend management to look into their staffing because this was so disappointing from a business we typically would love to use again. This will not be the case for anything in the future, let alone even a dinner night out. read more
