Ordered tonight for the first time. Will definitely not be back. Pizza has zero taste and was undercooked. Very disappointed

Friendly staff! That's the starter. They were all sweet and playful with one another when I arrived, but all stopped to greet. It's the little things that make your dining experience a little nicer. -We are entering your home (place), make us (the guest) feel welcome And they did. My kids and I ordered baked ziti, salad, mozz sticks and pizza. They wanted options, I wanted a salad, my wife ordered it all. I'm glad she did. We devoured everything. Salad was good, usual chop garden with peppers and full sized olives. The pizza was yummy. Kids kept biting, dancing, bite some more and then dance some more. They spent 10 hours in the car so the dancing was appropriate. The mozz sticks were ok, wish they were hot and gooey, but thats what you get for picking them up. The food was all warm when I got home, but thats what you get when eating in a hotel. You miss the fresh out of the oven part. The ziti was cheesy and because it was in a container, it was hot and cheesy goodness. This team had that oven to table quickness. I enjoyed, my family enjoyed. Thank you guys. read more

Stumbled upon this place while waiting to see my account in the same plaza. Don't let the lack of reviews fool you. This is a legitimate place for good wholesome pizza. Had 2 Sicilian for lunch, they rival some of the best places in NYC. I usually don't eat the crust on my pizza as they are always hard, dry and lacking flavor. I down both of my Sicilians and the only thing I left behind are crumbs! Will definitely eat here again! This place gets my vote read more

Come here constantly during lunch. This place has been amazing everytime. They treat you well and even remember what we eat regularly. When we come back from business trips, we also stop here when home. Portion sizes are great and the food is all very delicious. I have yet to order something that I didn't like. I once ordered a salad with avocado and they said they were out and if I wanted to wait they'd go get some from the grocery store. They try really hard to make you feel good and it's always there. Watching some games and decided to order for delivery. Was a bit apprehensive after reading the last few reviews and am glad I disregarded them. Ordered online.... Simple Family Special so its two Large Cheese Pizzas, Wings, Salad and a two liter.... decent price using their online coupon. Placed order and shortly later received a message telling me the delivery time. Five minutes before the scheduled delivery time they pulled in and delivered. Very pleasant delivery driver and everything was there. The Salad was extremely fresh! Amazing for a lot of places let them sit. The Wings are remarkable! The spice level was perfect and they we're cooked to perfection. The pizza was extremely crispy and delicious! No cheap ingredients. Should have added garlic, but.... sauce is tangy and I like a bit more but am not that picky on it. Four Stars... SOLID food at a decent price. One thing I love about CT: Clams Casino pizza at almost every pizza joint. Haven't had it? You're seriously missing out. My husband and i rolled into the area late night after spending a trillion hours staring at brake lights on 95. "Let's skip eating and go straight to bed!" I demanded. "Let's get a pizza!" he said. Enter Legends. As Legends newbies, we tried to order a medium which doesn't exist and get half hot oil and half clams casino which understandably cannot be done. So husband asked for hot oil on the clams casino pizza which was magical. I housed 4 slices (of a small pie), guzzled an IPA and dove into bed. Excellent pizza! We ordered for pickup late on a Saturday night, around 10pm, but it was all ready ahead of the scheduled pickup time. The thin crust buffalo chicken pizza was absolutely delicious. And so was the basil marinara square pie. Legends is a highly rated pizza joint for good reason! read more

Sorry to say we were extremely disappointed in their grandma's pizza. The crust was dry as a bone as was the whole pie...I don't know if it was due to the lack of sauce and cheese but nothing like some other Grandma's i have tried elsewhere. I saw awesome reviews, so I had to check it out for a quick slice. Reasonable price. I got a margarita and a cheese slice. First of all, there was so little sauce, and the sauce had zero taste to it. The entire pizza actually had no taste at all. I was very disappointed because of the positive reviews. When I please have such great reviews and I am so incredibly disappointed, I think that it might be a bad day? I don't know. I did try to separate places so I tend to think not. Roseland is maybe a tad more expensive, and you can't buy one slice at a time, which may be an issue for some people, but it is approximately 100 times better than this joint. I don't think that I will be back, even though I live very close. Why not one star? Friendly staff, clean place to dine. read more

I came from New York for 2 nights and didn't have high expectations for the pizza but wow was I wrong. I ordered the crispy chicken wings and lasagna pizza. The wings were perfectly cooked and just a little spicy, nice touch. The pizza crust was nice and thin and the flavor was awesome. Also they delivered about 15 minutes early then what the promised time on the yelp app stated. I don't leave reviews often but this place really deserved it. read more

Great pizza. If you love topping quality like I do I think you'll find the pizza great too. I'm a simple guy and don't order anything crazy so I personally love their bacon and pepperoni pizza. The bacon is plentiful and very tasty. The bbq chicken pizza is also quite good and'll hit the spot for a game night. I've always had pleasant food and experiences there and even though they cost a little more than surrounding pizza places extra is way worth it. My husband and I recently stopped into this pizzeria while out shopping on a Saturday and we were so pleasantly surprised we stumbled into this place. We have twin 15 month babies so we aren't always welcomed with the warmest reception at restaurants but Legends went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and treated us so kindly. The owner even came out and brought sweet potato fries out for our babies on the house- such a nice treat! The food was so good that we decided to order delivery from our house which we did last night and we were impressed again with the quality. The food was delicious and the driver was so friendly and professional- he arrived right on time and this will definitely be our go-to for pizza and delivery. I just did an order today with guys and we order from them very frequent but today I did a few different request with my order and was very pleased that they honored them to perfection. My only problem I've had with them which I did not bring to their attention was the other day I ordered a Babe Ruth wrap which is suppose to be roast beef but what I received was steak-um meat stuff and of course I didn't eat it, I just won't order that again but their Baked Ziti is the Bomb and their fried chicken wings are awesome. read more

We ordered through Grub Hub. We have been away with family and had no food in the house or the energy to go shopping. The food was delivered 20 minutes ahead of schedule and with no errors (thank you). My husband ordered chicken, bacon, jalapeño quesadillas to which he responded that they were the best quesadillas he ever had. I had the fish and chips. I was underwhelmed with the fish but maybe that is my fault for ordering it from a pizza place. My husband also liked the garlic bread with cheese. Monday night... wife and I stopped by unexpectedly and ordered small antipasto and hot oil pizza. Dressing for antipasto was very good and small was big enough for the two of us... The hot oil pizza was amazing... The owner told me they use a special tomato sauce for this pie that is a little sweeter than normal that gives a contrast to the spicy hot oil. Crust was thin but fresh and this pizza is worth every dime... First time there but I'm definitely going back.. read more

One hot oil, one standard cheese. Took 3 repeats of order on phone to get "order taker" to get it right. When I got there to pick up pizza, the order was for one hot oil and two standard cheese. This place has an excellent hot oil pizza with whole spicy peppers! Their house dressing (oil and vinegar based) is AMAZING. All of their ingredients are fresh and the service is outstanding. The only thing I would change is add alcohol! read more

They easily get my vote for best pizza in Shelton! Every pizza I've tried, from meatball, chicken, veggie, white Italiano , to hot oil , has been delicious. The sauce and cheese are very tasty, and the crust is a nice compromise between thin crust and regular. I'm eating a hot oil with bacon and onion as we speak and I am not disappointed . Ordered pizza and chicken wings for delivery and the order arrived an hour and 20 minutes later. The Zanzibar pizza was ok, but the mashed potato and margarita pizzas were bland. The crust was a little under cooked too. The wings were not your traditional Buffalo wings. They seemed to be breaded and fried...maybe even frozen and not very spicy. I've ordered from here before and they really aren't a top notch pizzeria. Probably won't order from here again, especially when there are so many better pizza restaurants in town.
