Well... i'm always looking for a place that can do you a great powder dip that's not too thick. Vickey was awesome! I can definitely tell she knew what she was doing. They also have a small selection of designs. My pedicure was OK. They do have massage chairs. The prices are fair for the neighborhood. I will definitely return. Leaving a review here so I can bookmark this place for the future. Loved this midtown nail spot! Went here with my mother-in-law on a Thursday afternoon and they were able to accommodate us no problem -- even after I changed up our appointment 2x after running late. A gel manicure is $45 before tip, an extremely reasonable Manhattan pricing structure. Designs range, and average $10 extra. My mani lasted 3-4 weeks with very minimal chipping. Will definitely be back! read more

Steer clear of this place. Horrible, horrible, horrible. If I could give zero stars, I would. For context, I got SNS dip two days ago and paid $50 just for the manicure. I had previously written a review and deleted it because I felt bad since they are probably a struggling business during COVID. However, I can't keep silent. Initially I was upset because they just did not do a great job with my sns dip. There was a huge gap between the cuticle bed and the start of my nail polish, and when I asked them to fix the issue, they basically argued with me until the cows came home that "they have to do it this way" because SNS lifts from the nail if it goes too close to the cuticle. That is completely BS, because if you look at the photo for reference there is a substantial portion of my actual nail that is not covered in polish. I had to cover up the cuticles with some gold polish myself to make it look okay. Then, one of my nails cracked. I had to cover it up with polish -- I ended up just using gold since that is what I had on hand (I wasn't about to go back to this horrible place with the worst customer service begging them to fix it). See pic 2. The straw that broke the camel's back: one of my other nails just completely snapped off in the ordinary course of my day. These are my natural nails that I have painstakingly been growing out for months. My nails are very strong. They obviously used some shitty product and completely weakened my nails. The woman who did my nails was barely paying attention and obviously didn't care, and she must have ground my nails down too much. I have absolutely never had any issues like this with SNS. Horrendous. Steer clear of this place at all costs. read more

i really don't want to leave a bad review. i made an appointment for 6pm. they had me waiting for over an hour and a half. if they were too busy they should not have confirmed the appointment. i'm sitting for 90 minutes for them to start on me! complete waste of my time. and they didn't even let me know it would be a long wait. ruined my plans for tonight as i had planned to go shopping to grab a few things before an outing tomorrow but i didn't know i would be waiting almost 2 hours for an appointment i made! there's fruit flies in the salon. they thin out the polish. in the middle of painting my toes, she gets up and puts something in the polish bottle. either remover or top coat idk. she rushed through the whole service, didn't cut or file properly. read more

wish I could give ZERO stara. So rude. Clearly speaking in their language talking about us because there was a comment any time I asked for something. Wanted to charge me for using more than two colors then wanted to charge me a lot more different color tips. Gave up and asked them to put a clear coat. I would give a 0 out of 5 if I could. It took them 1 HOUR to give me this result. Look at my thumb! Half of my nail cracked and the other half still got the acrylic residual on it!!! I don't usually leave bad reviews but this was one of the most terrible experiences I have ever had. I got dip powder and the dip was PEELING off the same day I got it. Dip powder usually doesn't "peel" off. Also, I asked the lady to cut my nails multiple times and she ignored me. I spent over $150 for all my "dip" nails to peel off the same day. Lovely, relaxing atmosphere with sweet and attentive nail technicians. I have gone as a walk-in, and never felt rushed. Large choice of colors. A regular mani lasts a good 8-10 days. It's also well-priced for the service you are getting (warm towel, massage). COVID-19 precautions are also closely followed. Temperature check. Separation screens. The jury is still out. I went to get my nails done there because I needed my nails repaired after a bad experience at Rogue Nail in Bloomfield NJ. I asked them to take all the nails off and start over from scratch. I was getting dipped acrylics. As they were taking my nails off I discovered that under one of my nails there appeared to be a fungi starting to grow. The nail attendant however stated it was a bruise. She tried to assure me by stating she's been doing nails for long time and she knows what a bruise looks like I continue to insist it was fungi. She placed a cotton ball of acetone on my nail to show that it was a bruise. After a few minutes she took the cotton ball only to discover that she did not completely take the acrylic off and it was in fact a fungi. I also had to show her that one of the nails was uneven and too long and one nail the color was not completely on. I only stayed cause she was the only person left. If I go back, I would not have her use work on my nails again. read more

If I could give zero stars I will. I visited this salon twice. On the 1st visit, I asked for filling and Pedi w/ gel. The woman today me they don't do acrylic filling only powder. I said OK. She said I had to soak off acrylic and then she will put a power base to protect my long nail from breaking and either gel or powder color. I decided on powder polish. Long story short one of my b Nails break like two days later. I go back for them to fix it, but then decided I wanted to change polish to gel. The woman seems frustrated with w/me. Remind you the place isn't busy. The woman takes off the powder color but doesn't want to replace the powder base. She only wanted to polish w/ out base. I said no you have to put powder base before gel. This way my nails won't break. She was VERY UPSET. she began to tell me this is too much. I don't want to do this. I don't understand the difference between powder color and gel. I understand the language barrier, but I was trying to explain I don't want the powder color just the base to protect my nails as I had done two or three days ago. We went back and forth while I became offended with her saying "it too much, just too much" I explained I'm paying for the service. I'm not asking you to do it for free. Every time she gave me a price I said ok. After a while I just said please cover my nail, don't polish so I can go. I will not return to this place again. It was such a disaster w/ the woman getting uptight all while I kept my cool. They ended up only charging me $10 to fix two nails & RECOVER my nails w/ powder base. I still left a tip but walked out after sitting for over an hour trying to explain with NO POLISH, NEVER AGAIN! read more

I used to come here all the time before the name change. It's the same people it's just a name change. Jessica did my pedicure and I got really grossed out because she started cleaning the tools she used in the water when my feet were still in the water. That grossed me out so much that I told her I did not need a manicure after I was just going to go after the pedicure. Also there were tourists in the shop who had their phone on speaker for a half hour figuring out their plans for a hotel. No one who worked in the shop told them to take their phone off speaker or to quiet down. I go there to relax I don't go there to hear other people's conversations. They also raised their prices so they're comparable to the nice place across the street, so the price increase makes coming here not really worth it. After being gross out by the practices by Jessica and then the loud noises that no one cared about, I will never come back here read more

Finding a nail salon that does high quality sns dip powder at an affordable price in Manhattan is pretty difficult. In theory, correctly done sns dip powder should hardly ever chip. A lot of nail techs use the cheaper and faster gel top coat with the UV light to set powder which actually doesn't lead to longevity. I have had my nails done 4 times here, 3/4 times they used the correct sns top coat to set my dip and the end product was great, my nails lasted 2 weeks without any issues. During my most recent visit the tech used the gel top coat to set my nails while I wasnt paying attention. Before I knew it I was under the UV light. It was definitely a short cut to get me out the door faster as they were getting busy. Two of my nails chipped after only 2 days. Overall I still think they are a pretty decent nail salon that offers relatively affordable prices for our neighborhood, just make sure you pick the right nail tech and pay attention to what they are doing. Also be sure to take cash for some money off. Win is my favorite tech there. read more

I was looking for a nail salon in the morning and they happened to be the only salon that was not booked and now I know why. I called over the phone and told them what I wanted exactly. When I came in I was sat down with nail tech that wore glasses, she was extremely rude & had very bad energy! I asked questions about the shapes the color and designs, she acted like I was nagging. When I told her that she was hurting me and if she can put down the drill the level of the drill she just ignored me I kept on saying ma'am probably 10 times, she hurt me many times. When she started to put on the tips on my nails I asked her why they looked like cat claws she told me that was the shape of my nail??????She told me that French tip is $30 extra but the then proceeded to tell the girl next to me that French tip is $15 extra. I got into a slight argument with them and the other nail tech proceeded to tell me why I am so sensitive! This place is extremely unprofessional I would never come back although my nails looked OK if I had the option to go back I would never. It is called leisure nail spa but there is no enjoyment that came out me doing my nails, I was not relaxed at all and it was a serious waste of time. Since I disliked the service and my nail tech was rude and hurt me I decided that I wasn't going to tip, I hate not ripping because they work hard. After I paid she told me where was her tip. Them she told me that I had to tip and I informed her that it is optional then she told me 15%. I laughed at how she demand a tip as if they were a top-tier good friendly nail shop. Please do not come here if you are a person of color or ethnic they treat you very differently than their other customers. They are racist and I felt uncomfortable in there. I only got my nails done two days ago and one already broke in half!!!!! read more

Never been happier than right now. This nail salon not only places major emphasis on quality nails but amazing customer service. No matter the nail tech, they always make sure you have the most amazing time. They are always open to suggestions and help your nails look the best possible. In addition, their prices are SO MUCH BETTER than everywhere else in the area. I have never left the salon with any complaints. Go there if you want to enjoy yourself. I paid $172 for a fill for UV gel and spa pedicure. Two days later 3 nails have lifted and one fell off entirely. Considering I paid nearly $200 with tip, this was a complete waste. I can only recommend the pedicure which was average at best. Save your coin and stay away read more

First let me just say that every time I enter this nail salon, it is always a delight. The two ladies who work there are always welcoming and excited to see my friend and I. We are treated with respect, care, and compassion. It truly is a de-stresser to be there. In regards to their pedicure and manicure services, I truly cannot complain. Everytime I leave the store, I am amazed at the finished product. They know my taste and cater to any design or shape I want for my nails and execute them with care and precision. Came here this week on my lunch break for my first mani in MONTHS. These ladies are amazing! First off - the place is so clean and bright. They took my temp (contactless) and asked me to wash my hands right when I got in the door so that I felt totally safe and like they were taking all the necessary precautions during this pandemic (in addition to wearing masks and having plexi barriers up at their stations). I was crunched for time to begin with but I asked for a full set of nails anyway and they couldn't have been sweeter about the whole thing. Book it now. This place was formally called Pans Nails & Spa, but has now changed their name to Leisure. This is my second visit to this salon and I've been getting the dip powder manicure. This place does not disappoint, customer service is great! Their prices are your typical manhattan prices but I do believe they should be cheaper if they want to compete with neighboring salons and gain more clients. Anywhoo Vicky has truly blessed my nails, she's perfectly skilled and always satisfies the client's needs. I've gotten so many compliments on my nails, I direct everyone to this salon. Dip powder manicure is $45 here which is not bad if you're wanting an acrylic gel set you might as well go for the healthier nail option and get the dip powder manicure. My nails lasted about three weeks, and I went in last night for a soak off and dip powder again. The ladies here are truly professional and definitely take ownership of their craft. I have yet to see anyone leave this place unsatisfied. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment, and you should definitely call because within a blink of an eye this place will go from empty to fully booked within seconds! read more

Great gel manicure and gel pedicure under an hour, was a little pricey $105 with tip. Gel lasted a solid two weeks, so no complaints there. Wish there was more variety in color. Don't fall for the cash discount bit. If they tell you to use the ATM right outside for a discount, know that it costs you 10% at the ATM. read more

I found Miss Bliss on Yelp as a business open Sunday evening and walked in around 5 (they close at 7). All the seats were full and 2 girls already waiting, so they advised the wait would be an hour bc of this existing appointments. No problem for me since I thought this was still plenty of time to get in before closing. They were able to seat me around 5:45. I requested Gel-x (my first time but also my nails were pretty short and damaged from my picking off the last gel as it grew out). Jenny began meticulously working on cleaning my cuticles and sizing me up for the tips. I don't know what they look for, but she definitely worked through the different size options, and even re-applied one of the tips bc she noticed something was off. Honestly, I don't think I have have noticed but I do appreciate her attention to detail, she obviously cares about her craft. So 7 pm rolls around, the 3 other customers that were still there and had wrapped up their nail sessions. Julie, the other nail tech offers to finish up my polish design to let Jenny go home to her kids. I'm definitely feeling bad for keeping them past closing, and I am secretly hoping they rush through the polish so they can leave. NOPE! my rating is between 3.5 and 4…read more i called ahead to see if they had any availability, and since they had pretty good ratings on google and yelp, i decided to go for it. my nails were getting way too long anyways. it was a very typical nail salon, the exact kind you would imagine when you think of one. she didn't ask what length i wanted and just went straight for the cut. by the time it came to filing, my nails ended up super short, and i am definitely a longer nail kind of girl. i'm not sure if she simply forgot to ask, but i'd like to think she was looking out for me and knew my nails would chip if they were kept too long. i went for a regular gel manicure since i told myself my nails need a break after this. when she was done, she gave me a shoulder massage, but it was very brief (shorter than the typical massages you get at nail appointments) and only on one shoulder, which felt a little odd. upon leaving, i immediately noticed a flaw on my left thumb. there were visibly tiny bumps, and once i noticed them, they kept bothering me. my conclusion: always go to the nail salon you trust, and that is exactly what i should've done.

I decided to stop doing gel manicure for my nail health - asked for gel removal and a regular manicure with clear touch. I'm satisfied with my natural colors. Gel manicure removal was $10 and regular manicure was $18 which is pretty budget friendly in my neighborhood. Got a little massage on my shoulder and hands during this visit. This place is a bit small but clean and cozy. The staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring I was comfortable throughout. The only downside was the temperature, which could have been cooler.
