My wife and I were shopping for a particular new car. We had been to 4 different Dealerships in NC then we came to Leith Auto Park "KIA". The people were fantastic to deal with. We first called and spoke to Sherwood, he asked for which model and then stated he would have one at the front of the store when we arrive. When we arrived the car we had been looking for was right in front with the salesperson waiting for us to arrive. Tanasia was a dream to work with, unlike the other Dealerships we dealt with. She listened to our wants and needs and we agreed the car they showed us was the one we wanted. No BS upsale tactics , the price was 2K below MSRP and then they deducted another 3K as a bonus from KIA. The whole sale was easy and no pushy upgrades, they explained all the options available if you wanted one it was explained and shown how it worked. The ceramic coating is a must in NC, I have it on all my cars. Sure it's a little bit expensive but well worth it to keep your paint and interior looking great, my 2005 truck the paint still looks new. Finance was easy not pushy and again they listened to you not talked down to you. All in all we recommend this Dealership and ask for Tanasia. They have the best prices and did not raise the price like all the other Dealerships went to . read more

Visited yesterday to purchase a vehicle in a certain trim and color. They didn't have it but I test drove what they did have. The salesperson put way too much pressure on me to buy that vehicle that I repeatedly said didn't meet my preferences. She kept asking "why don't you like it, I love it?". I asked questions about building and purchasing through KIA. She said "I don't know anything about that but why don't you just buy this one?". I plan to purchase a vehicle but not from this dealership. read more

Terrible service. While replacing the faulty sunroof, Leith Auto park Kia damaged the top of the windshield. They tried to fix the damage and made it worse. They then proceeded to blame the glass shop for poor install. When confronted on the damage, "service advisor" Michael Barrett, hung up on us. As anyone can see by the 2.5 star rating. Terrence Parker is a salesman at this dealership. He is also on a dating app called HINGE. He uses the platform as well as his job to prey on women. He is very charming and charismatic but in all actuality he's a manipulator and a conman. I should've seen that from the beginning but I was vulnerable as I recently went through a rough divorce. He knew I was a single mom barely making it but he used my story to get what he wanted. He padded the sale allowing it to be advantageous for him. Please ladies and even men , do not allow this man to con you. He is very shady. For example, he told me STAR GUARD is mandatory which adds $995 to the purchase price but in all actuality, it was optional. I requested help from customer service to have the sale reviewed but I'm not sure if I will get any restitution. Please don't allow yourself to fall into the same trap. read more

I am giving them a rating of 2 stars because to be fair, the actual buying process was great. There was no haggling, or back and forth. My sales lady was wonderful. I took my 2024 Kia Soul in on Friday, February 7 for my second oil change (the first one was complimentary). I also needed an inspection which was $13.60. My total bill was $160.92. When I got home, I looked over the invoice and found several suspicious charges. One being a $2.06 fee for "electronic document storage" and another $12.02 for "miscellaneous charges". I called today and spoke to David and questioned the fees. He told me the $2.06 was the charge for them to keep my information on file. He said I would be charged this every visit. The $12.02 was for things like the rags they used to wipe the car, fluids, etc. I realize we are not talking about a lot of money here, but it's the principal that makes me mad. I told him they had lost a customer, and he simply said, "ok, thank you". I will not be going back to this dealership for service. They don't seem to care about losing customers, which is too bad because I have recommended a lot of friends and family to them. read more

I only gave this one star because yelp wouldn't allow me to leave zero. I brought my car in on March 30th for a 30k mile warranty appt. On April 3rd I ended up bringing it back because I heard a screeching/scraping noise under the car. They took a look and said they needed to keep it because they found a leak in the differential and that they "highly recommend that I don't drive it off the lot for safety reasons." Told me they had to order a part and they'd give me a rental. They said it should take 5-7 days. David told me I could just bring the rental back to the dealership whenever they called to have me pick up my own car. He told me I could just bring it back how it is and not to worry about the gas cause everything was going to be taken care of because it was under warranty. Kia kept my car for 9 days and I picked it up on Wednesday April 12th, and dropped my rental off in the front of service department at Kia. I brought my own car back Thursday April 13th because there was a different noise. They told me they thought it could possibly be that I needed an alignment. So I paid for the alignment but it didn't help the sound at all. They told me it was my tire tread making the noise now. (They never made that noise the entire time I've owned the car for almost 2 years.) I took my car and went home. Friday morning I received a text from Kia that my car was ready for pick up. I ignored it as I already had my car. Then Hertz rental in Raleigh called and said they found a nail in the tire and the gas wasn't refilled so they were going to charge me for it. I let them know i hadn't had the car for two days now and they said to take it up with Kia. I called and spoke to Pam and she tried to tell me that the rental was left where I parked it on Wednesday. I let her know I was just there the day before and the rental was NOT parked where I left it. When I called back (because David still has not called me back) Pam changed her statement and said David had moved it into a parking lot because it wasn't "safe" where I parked it on Wednesday but that David didn't close out the ticket until Friday morning. She then said it's not "typical" for there to be nails in the parking lot and that it wasn't moved very far. But I did confirm with her that the car was moved after it was out of my possession. She then said "I just don't know what you want us to do for you." And I told her I needed them to let the rental Place know that it has been out of my possession since Wednesday and that it was moved by David. I let her know that the tire wasn't flat when I dropped it off and they said it wasn't flat when Hertz came to pick it up.l either. The rental place charged me $190 and said it was Kia's issue. I will NEVER bring my car back to this place, ever again. I will say that Ciara at the front office is always kind and I have nothing against her. read more

This company has been so unhelpful! They sold me my car, and did not inform there were two vin numbers. They, were so uninformed about the car, and sold me a car with the wrong information on it! When they inspected my car, it came back worse then it was! They have been so unkind, and despite having so much insurance that they sold me, any service needed is excessively expensive! read more

The service department here definitely needs new management and service advisors. Very unfriendly service advisor with Ciera. Her whole attitude and demeanor communicates that she's being put out with any question or issue and she's doing you a favor by even answering your phone call. John the service manager completely disregarded our complaint and issue. Like not even a response! Besides not standing behind the complete engine replacement they completed, which was done just a few months ago, an 02 sensor went faulty and instead of replacing it for a reasonable cost, they tried to charge us over $600 to replace a $99 part. If parting with your hard earned money and being fleeced is something you enjoy then by all means use the service department here! If you don't appreciate being ripped off, then avoid for sure. John, the service manager didn't even bother to call or respond to an email about the issue I raised... I called three other service shops in the area and all of them were 50 to 60% of the price quoted by Ciera. If you're looking for any level of Kia car repair or Kia auto repair in the Rolesville, Wendell or Raleigh area, I would highly recommend avoiding this particular dealership. Just super unhappy with the lack of friendly customer service, and I despise being ripped off by dishonest repair shops like this one. These scam artists even included $190 diagnostic fee in the repair even if we decided to go with them for the repair. We're talking about a five minute hook up to a computer to get the Kia error code. Hopefully this review costs them a lot more than $190 by helping a few others not get ripped off and have to be subjected to terrible customer service in the process! Brought our car in which has already had multiple recalls to get an estimate, I told them we knew what the issue was and we just needed a price for work. They then proceeded to quote an astronomical price for work which would cost no more than $500, at any non-criminal mechanic. They then charged us a $150 dollar diagnosic fee for an issue we told them about. 2 recommendations 1.) Don't buy a Kia 2.) If you do be prepared to bring it in twice a year, and be over-charged and nickel and dimed at Lieth Kia Wendell. read more

First if I could give lower than a 1 star I would. I bought a 2020 Ford Ranger from the dealership in December. I recently went in for an oil change. A couple of days later, I noticed that they had not replaced the motor cover. I called the dealership to let them know. The service manager told me that my model did not come with an engine cover when I know that there was one there when I made my purchase. He stated that service videos showed that there was never a cover but even though two separate people said they would provide proof. I never received such video. I called Capital Ford to ask if my vehicle comes with a shield. They took my VIN # and stated emphatically that my year and model included an engine cover. I called back and spoke with a manager over the service department. He repeated some of the same lies about sending a video as their proof which never. He even had the nerve to chuckle as if my situation was funny to him and refer me to the parts dept to buy the piece. If it was never a part of my vehicle how could it be attached. Because of their negligence and lack of regard, I had to spend $250 for something that they lost (at Capital Ford of course. I will never do business with Leith Autopark in Wendell again and suggest you don't as well. read more

We went to Leith Kia Wendell because we were very interested in purchasing a used Kia. Because Wendell is a bit of a drive, we called first to make sure the car was available. The salesman (I won't say his name because I don't want to impact his livelihood) said the car would be ready and he would pull it up front for us to look at. Upon our ARRIVAL, we learned that they had loaned the car to people. The people were cleaning the car out liked they were summoned to rush over from their house so we could look at it. It was sticky and gross, a 1,000 miles higher than what was advertised and it was completely awkward and unprofessional that we had to walk by the people we were obviously inconveniencing. It also had crazy scratch marks on one side of the car that were not advertised in pictures or anything. Any of those situations would have been okay to handle if they had been honest about it, but they chose not to be forthcoming with honest answers about the car's availability. Therefore, we chose to visit a different, honest salesman to buy our car and found a great deal someplace else. In case you are wondering, no one wants to buy a car from someone that straight up lies to them in the name of making a sale. I know your job is to try to make the sale but not when it comprises your integrity and the integrity of your company. read more

2023 Kia Telluride first Kia I have ever owned and I really like the car, however with the way the service department handles customers this will be the only one I purchase from Kia in Wendell. I had an oil leak, David called and told me it was a cracked housing and they would have to order the part and it would take 2-3 days to get. I asked him since it's a warranty issue could he set me up with a loaner. He informed me that they don't do loaners just rentals and only from Hertz in Raleigh which closes at 6pm, I also can't be promised a vehicle of the same size as the telluride it's whatever they have on the lot. I told him that would not work for me because I have to be at work until 5pm then drive home 30 minutes to drop off the truck I borrowed then get a ride to Raleigh which was over a 30 minute drive, I'd never make it. I was offered $45 a day for a rental at a place of my choice as another option but I'd have to cover the rest. You can't get anything of decent size for $45, I couldn't locate anything for $45 a day. I find this to be crappy considering the amount of money I just spent there in February on this car and your warranty promises me a loaner but yet I have to leave my job early and get a ride across town (NOT GOOD). Now the service work story what a load of crap, remember I was told it was a cracked housing when they checked it over, but they ordered a O-ring because they only diagnose the problem then they send it to the engineer who then instructs them on how to fix the problem and then parts are to be ordered and they can't go against what they are told even if they think/know it's wrong. They ordered the O-ring and of course that didn't fix the problem so here we are on Thursday having to order a housing that the engineer finally decided we needed to get to fix the CRACKED HOUSING. This part was being picked up a few hours away is what I was told on Friday but because of the late notice it would be Saturday before it was ready. I was told they were bringing in a special technician to make sure it gets fixed correctly. I had to leave for out of town on Saturday morning early and I really needed my car, I had others traveling with me and the truck that I was borrowing wouldn't hold everyone and their luggage. I was told that the rental option was still available, you can't be serious this is all you have to offer a new customer that's car is under warranty. Not one time was I ever offered to talk with a manager and I did tell David that I know he was only passing the information he was told to but this was terrible customer service and if this is the way they treat all customers I can't understand how they are in business. I know that when it comes to warranty they look for the cheapest way to fix it because they are having to eat the cost but when you are told it's a cracked housing and then told they ordered an O-ring seriously get it together. read more

I purchased TWO new cars from this dealership in 2019. While I really like the cars, the service department at Leith Kia in Wendell, but I purchase your Kia vehicle at a different dealership. The employees are rude and argumentative, they suggest repairs that are not necessary, and then they charge you the same amount even if they can't make the repairs. Don't expect the head of the dept, Pam, to back you up if you report a problem. While, if I was an employee, I would appreciate having a boss that backs me up, as a customer, it is just more poor customer service. Most recently, I was told that my breaks needed replaced, and it would cost $290 for pads, and the auto tech said they could replace the rotars. I was later told the rotors could not be replaced, and I would need to pay the full price, but my brakes were unsafe. The lady said she could maybe order rotars, but they were not going to be able to do that today. I questioned why they did the work and charged me all that money without calling and telling me the situation prior to doing more work. She responded, "we have told you several times before the breaks needed to be repaired." That is just not true. I would not endanger my family with bad breaks. I also told her that if I had known I needed new rotars, I would have waited until they had the parts before having it done, and I would have had the chance to find/compare other options. Last time, they told me I needed to get tires for more than $1000; I found the same tires for $600 somewhere else. Beware the service dept at Kia in Wendell. read more

We went to buy a van from them today we were told it we had any problems with it in 30 days to bring it back for a refund, the salesman told us that twice and the sales manager told us the same. My wife asked the salesman again when he wrote up the sale and he stated the same again. When we went to do the title my wife asked the finance person again and he told us no that wasn't true. When we were leaving the salesman thought it would be appropriate to roll his eyes at us and call me a son of a bitch. Do not deal with these people they can't be trusted. read more

He was talking about me while I was standing right there and refused to acknowledge my presence. Since there was no prior interaction with him at all, and I had not spoken one word to him before getting this treatment, I can only attribute his abhorrent behavior to discrimination. I purchased a Kia from Carvana, and the warranty department asked me to find a Kia dealership outside of their network that would make a key fob for me, so I contacted Leith Auto Park Kia in Wendell. I spoke to John Parrish, and he said he could email his contact information so that I could proceed with getting a key fob made there. He emailed me his contact info, and I immediately sent him the warranty department's number so that he could contact them to set up payment for the key. He never did. I emailed him and asked him if he had contacted SilverRock (the warranty department for Carvana), but he didn't even have the decency to respond to my email. I called SilverRock to see if he had called, and they said no. TERRIBLE customer service. But no worries, Kia of Raleigh handled it SEAMLESSLY. Sold us a car that didn't even make it 30 days and the engine blew. They wanted to make it right but kept getting caught in lies and misinformation. I understand it's a money making business but the amount of scheming and disorganized untruths was appalling. I will never deal with them or recommend them to my worse enemy. The bank I deal with stated they just had a previous member with the same issue from the exact location. I would also like to state that throughout all this the make in their finance department made up for the loss of integrity. I can not thank this dealership enough. My husband, my baby and myself was traveling through NC on the way to visit family in sc when our 2017 kia broke down. We ended up getting it towed to the dealership where they had to keep it about a week, being that we lived in a different state they gave us a rental. The service guy Clint was so helpful and kept us informed throughout the whole process. When we went to go pick the car back up the sales manager David was just as helpful as Clint. He came in on Sunday the day they are closed just to make sure we could pick up our car. During such a stressful time for our family, David and Clint made it a much easier process and took some of the stress off of us. I would give 10 stars if I could. I HATE dealerships to begin with and you can imagine running my own shop and taking vehicles to the dealer for warranty work isn't exactly ideal for me. However, I have officially changed my mind due to the ABSOLUTELY fantastic customer service by Pam and the technicians that worked on my kia optima SXL. I had a hard knocking in my steering collomn, made a same say appointment, and it was diagnosed and fixed under warranty in less than 3 hours with 0 out of pocket and no hastle from me. I just purchased a 2014 Kia Soul from Mark there at Leith Kia. After looking all over Raleigh for a Kia Soul, that was the right price and low miles, I was convinced I would not find what I wanted and could afford. Most dealerships would not negotiate the price, they said we don't do that. We went up the road a few miles to Wendell and met Mark a Kia salesperson, it was 8:45 on a Friday night, he had been at work since 9am but he took time with us, went to bat for us on a lower than asking price and I got my car! It was 11 pm when we left and Mark was the most courteous sales person I had encountered all week, no games, no leading us on, no pressure to buy. Saturday morning, Darnell the finance guy had the paperwork ready for us to sign and we were in and out in 30 minutes. This was the best car buying experience we have ever had. They will put you in any vehicle. The vehicle I purchased had everything from headlights and brake light to go out with in 3-7 days after. I asked them to replace the bulbs.That was like pulling teeth for a vehicle that they had not inspected. Inspection sticker on windshield states the last inspection occurred March 2018.I purchased the vehicle Febuary 22 2019. Exactly 2 months later my passenger door paneling started to detach form the metal door frame to inside the vehicle. I have called for 3 months and still no resolve. Now my car is having electrical problems and the window will not go down. So, they knowing put me in a vehicle with prior issues and will not fix the problem because I didn't get an extended warranty. I am paying 391.00 monthly for a malfunctioning vehicle that they assured had no electrical problems and that it self is against the law in the state of NC itself. The sales manager Sherwood Evans has a terrible attitude and is lazy. Douglas Durham is the store manager I had to call cooperate for him to call me back. He talks to women any way he feels. I bought I traded a Saturn in on a used Hyundai sale price $16498.00, I was told they would give me $5000.00 for my trade-in. When they came out with the paperwork the sale price was at 17500.00, when I pointed this discrepancy out to the sales person he told me that in order to give me the $5000. on my trade-in they needed to charge $17500. for the Hyundai! I should have walked right then. I stuck to my guns and they honored the original deal. I was told I would receive the new registration within 30 days. Three weeks later I'm contacted by the sales person and asked to send a copy of my drivers license as they had lost or misplaced they copy the made at the time of the sale. 35 days latter and still no new registration I called the DMV to check on the status and was told that no paperwork had been received from the dealer! Called the dealer and was told they had sent it in but it was returned because they had forgotten to put the lien holder on the Title form and they would be sending it back in . No apology, no sorry for the delay, nothing ! I thought I was dealing with professionals, WRONG!! I guess this was the first sale they ever made and are clueless about filling out paperwork properly. If you want a stress-free purchase experience for a new vehicle, I would recommend Leith Kia of Wendell. My transaction was not completely stress-free based upon the conditioning from previous encounters with auto dealers. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, but there was no other shoe. Since I live in Raleigh, I first went to a Kia dealership in Raleigh. For some reason they seemed to have no interest in selling me a new vehicle. I then looked online for recommendations for all of the Kia dealers in the greater Triangle area. The dealer that had the most and recent positive comments was Leith Kia of Wendell. So I sent them an email asking what the out-the door-price would be for the vehicle that I was interested in. I was not really expecting an answer but rather an invitation to come in to see them. However, within an hour, I received a quote. It was competitive but I was leery that I was missing something so I asked does it include this, that, and all the components that usually are charged for. I immediately received an answer "yes." I was still leery but decided to proceed. The Sales Manager, Bo, began searching for the car that I wanted even though I would have been happy to wait and order one. He thought that he had found one near Charlotte, then Florida, then Georgia. None of those worked out. He next found the car at a dealership in Nashville, Tennessee. To seal the deal, he offered the sales manager there several pounds of Clyde Cooper's barbecue. That worked. Rather than putting extensive miles on the car, he sent a driver with a trailer to Nashville, TN (that is a good day's drive from Raleigh) to pick up the car and return it to Wendell. To make the dealership pickup process faster for us, Bo emailed us the forms that we needed to complete. We filled them out and sent them back. The car was ready for us when we arrived. There were no surprises. I would not recommend Kia Finance unless there is an incentive in doing so. I had a problem with Kia Finance but the dealership solved it. Unless you enjoy stress, I would recommend Leith Kia of Wendell. The drive will be worth it. I have no relationship with this dealership except being a customer. read more
