Went there to look a used 08 Mercedes. Was told that the car would be there for me to look at and possibly test drive. Went there and was told that the car was at ANOTHER dealership. I drove nearly 2 hours to come see vehicle and it is not even at the right dealership. When I finally saw vehicle, it was in ok condition. I had cash so I figured that I could get a deal on the car. NOT!!! They would not budge for $500 dollars! I guess they don't like cash, took my business elsewhere. Truly a sad experience, won't be coming back to these brain dead zombies. read more

I would not recommend Leith. I had an appointment, but was ignored while walk-ins were favored, for over an hour. Everyone was nice enough. They seem to want to sell you cars with the biggest incentives, and not those you are interested in. Fair enough. I've been in sales before. My biggest concern is that the warranty is garbage. After agreeing to a monthly rate, you are then UPSOLD into warranty packages that should be included with any new car package. This was my first experience with that. I was exhausted, or I would have gone back to SS or Flo. Both include a 10y powertrain, discounted service, and honor the monthly rates they offer at contract. read more

I brought my wife's 2018 Honda CRV AWD that we purchased from them to get a tire or TPMS looked at. After setting an appointment to have her tire fixed, I was told that the technician did a visual inspection they didn't see anything and if I wanted them to dig any further it was going to be $79.99 + tax and then whatever they find. I told them to just bring her car back around, while waiting I contacted (Elias @ Crossroads Ford of Fuquay-Varina) he got me in and didn't charge me to look and see that it had a nail in the tread that was very visible. Fixed and out for $32.71 Thanks Crossroads. Leith Honda told me that if we need anything just give them a call. I have tried several times to schedule oil changes or for just services, I was told the earliest available is 2-3 weeks out. We have the oil package that I knew better to buy at the time of purchase, but figured they would do right by the customer and I would be able to let my wife take it in instead of having to do it myself. Customer service sucks! Bought my car here in 2017 and have free oil changes. I used to be able to make an oil change appt on the "Honda link" app but suddenly that's been changed and only provides a number to call to make an appt. Why bother calling the number because nobody answers. Finally I send a chat to the Leith website where someone claims service Department will give me a call. Never got a call. 2 days go by I chat with this number again and says someone else will call me. Never get a call. Finally I come up here, no greetings in the service lane. Come inside and lady says she doesn't know who chats with the people online she's never heard of them. Been waiting over 2+ hours for a simple oil change. Free oil changes IS NOT worth the Hassel. The moonroof on my Honda Civic shattered. I went to this dealership and ordered the new roof and made an appointment to have it installed. When i arrived for my appointment at 3:30 pm they said they had me scheduled to install a moonroof visor. So i thought ok, just install the moonroof. Keep in mind i got to my appointment 30 minutes early because of an oncoming thunderstorm. The mechanic said it would be about a 2 hour job depending on what they find when the remove the moonroof. I said well just replace the moonroof and it the headliner needs to be removed for further installation and clean up i will bring it back. The 2 Leith associates went into the store and about 5 minutes later they came out of the store with a large piece of tape and put it over the hole in my moonroof and sent me on my in the thunderstorm. Our car purchase experience in 2012 concluded with the guy who handled the paperwork treating us like idiots because we wouldn't buy an extended warranty. 2.) We had several years of very good experience with the service department, including when they found ways to save us money. 3.) Over the past couple years, on two occasions, the service folks recommended very expensive maintenance that, upon reviewing our records, recently had been done. I had bad experience with this service before and so did my wife but this is just beyond. I dropped my car there for one very single reason - I had to do two airbag recalls and you have no option but to go with the official service. Leith Honda is the closest one and I didn't have time to drive to a different place. So they did recall work and also did free multipoint inspection. After I left service I noticed visible change in the car behavior. First there was appearance of low level noise at high engine RPM. Second engine RPM were unstable when running idle. This was puzzling until I checked engine compartment on Saturday morning. Turns out during the multipoint inspection they checked engine air filter and didn't put it back properly. Filter cover was not sealed and only two clips out of five were in place! This is a very basic operation for a mechanic. How could they screw it up? On top of that battery cover on "plus" wire was gone. It was broken before but they just took it off and didn't put back. I just have to hope that amount of mess they did with my car is limited to these two things. Bottom line. Even if you are in need of Honda service to the extent of dying of thirst in the middle of a desert - don't go there. read more

At 3:30 I was still waiting for the car I bought to be brought around. The salesman paid no attention to me after the deal was closed. He was too busy helping other people. There was no communication about the Mitsubishi sport Outlander to the other dealership on the front bumper and back bumper. A dealer wants had this car is sold it to me did not put anything on Carfax and did not tell anyone that the front and back bumper was replaced. I recently found out because I cannot drive a stick anymore and my car is not worth anything and it only has 50000 miles on it and it's a 2013. The lack of communication really pissed me off and now I have a I Mitsubishi sport Outlander that I can't drive and I can't do anything about it. read more

Going to post this now and hopefully update after receiving better service. This place is extremely unorganized. I took my Honda here once in 2017 for an oil change. I returned in August 2018 due to my check engine light being on. When I dropped my car off I filled out a form of what was going on with TWO current, updated phone numbers and the note that i needed the car inspected IF / WHEN the check engine light was resolved. My car was here 3 days and I'd received zero updates on it. I called in to check after Day 1 and was told that my car hadn't been serviced yet, mind you- they were informed that this is MY ONLY means of transportation and I have a ONE YEAR OLD, so we were trapped at home / carless at this time. After two more days passed by I called again and was rudely informed that a voicemail had been left for me and that my car was ready. I had zero voicemails. So I inquired what number they had called- not mine! Not either of the TWO numbers I'd left with them. So we get past that & they apologize etc. so we are down to what happened with the car? Well, $480+ spent on "diagnostics" determined that "nothing was wrong, we tightened some wires and reset the code and it stayed off" .... ok. Well that's good, right? At least the engine light is off. So I can pick my car up? Yes sure. But was it inspected? Nope. They'd missed that too. So I've spent almost $500 and essentially nothing was done? Cool. They did inspect the car that evening and I picked up the next day. No service person ever spoke with me, it was only the ladies who answer the phone. And 1 day into having my car back the check engine light came back on. Sweet! read more

I have been working with multiple dealers across several brands over the past few weeks for the purchase of a new car for work. Leith Honda was bar far the worst experience I have ever had with a dealer. I originally started with the Internet Sales Team (Bobby) who was very easy to deal with and provided a quick response to my information and price quote. Unfortunately he was unavailable when I visited the dealer for a test drive. The salesperson I was directed to was not the same experience. He consistently bashed the competition, but never provided very few specific positive traits on his brand, the vehicle or dealership. This salesperson then gave me a price that was significantly higher than the price I received from Bobby and also any price I received from other dealers. When I mentioned that the price was high he said that was impossible because the Internet group cannot go lower than the floor sales team. He then wanted me to sign the Purchase Order but continued to argue with me that I wasn't "buying the car" by signing this. I clearly was committing to the purchase and at the higher price. I hope this was an isolated instance with an overly aggressive salesperson, but I will not consider Leith Honda in the future. read more

I live close and wanted to buy my car here but had the rudest sales person ever that wouldn't deal on a top of the line car and literally said "if you want a cheaper price buy a lesser car". Sorry I drove 3 hours to save $3000. I just brought in my car for service and "ken hunter" was my advisor and told me it was my fault for having an iPhone that my audio system was having trouble. I know for a fact on civicx.com that androids are just as bad with this car because 1000's of people are complaining about the electronics in this car. Also consumer reports for the first time ever is not recommending the civic because of the electronics and I pointed this out to him and he said "I was wrong and he had an android and it was fine". Have to say- there are some snooty people in this branch. Came to ask for help regarding my civic. It was flashing warnings about a problem with the electronic parking brake system and would not start, so I wanted to make sure it was the battery that had the problem and not the actual brake system. Went in, nobody paid us any attention. Eventually, this lady (whose desk was by the entrance/exit door) called us over. Throughout our whole conversation, she had her chin rested on her hand, with such a bored expression on her face. She kept talking over us, and kept making assumptions without even checking our vehicle. She made sure to make us feel that WE were wasting HER time. Got sick of her bitchy attitude and just left. I'd rather drive all the way back to Northern Virginia to get help from the rosenthal honda than tolerate ignorance from dealerships owned by leith. Disgusting. Okay, I'll admit it, we buy a lot of Hondas. I used to work for the company and they are good cars and I know how to find all of the dealer incentives etc. These guys stink. They lie, a lot. I took an employee to buy a car, and they tried to tell her the college grad financing was 4.9% when it was 0.9%. They quoted me one price, and then tried to tell he she didn't qualify for the $500 rebate. Luckily, I had all the information loaded in the Ipad before we got there. Surprise, surprise, the Honda dealer satisfaction survey never came. Today, they did it again. Tried to quote 1.9% for Honda days, when the interest rate is 0.9%...tried to say there was no rebate when there is $1000 rebate. Today, we had enough. They tried to rip me off with my trade in ( I owe 11000 and they wanted to give me 7000) meanwhile they have my exact same car on there web site for 12000.00! Crooks! I'm gets better, when I asked them if they had any cars for 22,000 to cover there bull shut trade in price, this lazy man says " their is nothing I can do" and he answered his phone while he was in the middle of talking to me. We weren't exactly expecting to purchase a car on the day we decided we wanted a new car, it just turned out that way. I had heard good things about Leith Honda, and though it is a bit of a trek for us, we gave it a shot. We were immediately greeted by Glenn Moss and realized we were all from New York, which gave us something to talk about. (i.e. gripe about how NC doesn't have good bagels). Anyway, we told him what we were looking for and he showed us some cars on the lot. We really wanted to know a trade-in value for our current Civic, however, before we went any further. Glenn was happy to accommodate us and he and his manager both took the car for a spin and they offered us what we thought was a very fair price. From there, we decided to pick something out. It wasn't long before we landed in the "blue" section, where the cars are somewhat discounted. We happened upon a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid, and though we weren't looking specifically for a hybrid, we were interested in checking it out. Glenn was equipped to answer the questions we had about hybrids, as well as put any hesitancy we had about owning one to rest. We were able to take it for a nice, long test drive, both my husband and I, and were pleased with it and its features. We went inside and out of the heat to start figuring out pricing. At Leith, they've streamlined the process so that the customer can see everything that is happening on the computer screen between the sales people and the managers. They type in a question we have, and the managers respond. This way you always know what is going on and there isn't any hush-hush going on behind closed doors where you feel left in the dark. After all was said and done, we spent a good 4-5 hours there, which was a long day, especially considering we hadn't eaten lunch (our fault!) But they did have some refreshments, access to computers, and couches with TVs to pass the time. Ed, the financial guy, was also very nice and helpful and answered all the questions we had without getting flustered. I even got to bang their gong when our purchase was final. One more thing to add: when we were driving our new car the next day, we noticed a small cap piece was missing off the windshield wiper blade. We alerted Glenn and he ordered the necessary part for us and it came in quickly. Even though our car was technically "used" they still took care of that issue for us. Buying experience. 2013 Honda Odyssey. I did my homework. I knew what I wanted to pay. I knew what I wanted to get for my trade in. Salesperson Dave Crowell got it executed promptly. They didn't make me wait too long. Dave is knowledgeable about the product. One complaint: I ordered an interior lighting package about $150. When I went to pick up the car, it was installed but didn't work. They could have tested that, frankly. I'm sure they'll fix it for me when I go there next, but who has time. Had that not occurred this would have been a 5/5. I would buy another car from them. And do my homework first. read more

Our salesman Nahru Williams was unbelievably customer first in his approach. I did not feel like I was talking to a salesperson trying to pull the wool over my eyes, which I really appreciate. While Yelp has been used primary for eating establishments, there's no reason it has to be solely for the palate. I was driving an 18 year old Honda with ~ 285,000 miles on it and she was still running great because it had been well maintained. I have been watching the sleek Honda CR-Z since I first read about them in Japan several years ago. When I tested the waters after the CR-Z was released in the US in Aug, 2010 of course all the dealers were (and still are) demanding full sticker price for the new ones and don't feel the need to negotiate, so I passed until the furor died down a bit. In February of 2011 I saw a low-mileage used CR-Z on the Leith's lot, so I called and took it for a nice test drive. The salesmen was knowledgeable about the car's details because I asked some tougher questions to see how well he knew what he was selling and he did have the answers. He was also easy to work with and took a lot of time telling me about the car. He also understood my situation with the manual stick. Long story short, I decided not to buy the car from Leith Honda but only because it was a manual stick shift and my better half convinced me that owning a car one of us was unable to drive was not wise. We had already tried that many years ago with my CRX. It was true, while there are few occasions when we drive the other's car, it does happen and I could not argue the case and win and even if I did, I'd ultimately lose. I really loved the way the manual drove - too bad so many people have forgotten what fun they are to drive. It's just easier to "press the gas" I guess. :( The ONE thing that did bother me is when we started talking price, just to see where they stood on any trade-in, I asked them to price my current ride. The guy came back and wanted to low-ball me on my car which even though had high miles was well maintained. They offered me $300 for it and I already knew it would sell for ~$1800 in this market, even with those miles. I'd certainly consider Leith for a car purchase based on how I was treated, even though I did not buy but I would be cautious on any trade ins.. know what your car is worth before you even venture down that road so you can make a very informed decision. read more

I visited this Honda Dealership for a routine oil and filter change WITH NO OTHER PROBLEMS. After inspection they came back and told me that I needed a brake and coolant flush and spark plugs changed. I told them they could perform that service and was told it was completed and paid almost $600 for the service. After waiting 3 hrs I got in my car and drove out of dealership parking lot. I had driven barely a block when I heard a squeal noise and popping sound and a smoke smell. I immediately turned around and went back to dealership and told them what had occurred and something had to have been done while they were servicing my car . They took the car and 30 min later came back to tell me my air compressor was broke and it would take $1600 to repair it and it was nothing they had done. I tried to get copy of what they were telling me was wrong and was denied when I refused to sign. I reported to the BBB and the States Attorney office regarding this matter and will contact the media as well as to how they are treating their customers. I took the car elsewhere for repair. I had previously done all of my maintenance done at this dealership since my car had been purchased brand new and was a loyal customer for 3 years. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. We arrived at the Leith office about 30 minutes prior to closing, Brett was extremely polite, he offered us a seat right away, offered us refreshments and inquired about the car we were looking for. Brett was very clear in explaining that the model and trim we was looking was not available, but he was happy to let us test drive a trim above the one I was looking to simply get to experience the ride. Brett was very specific as to which features would not be included in the trim I wanted to purchase, which provided great assurance to the information I was aware of. The appraisal of my trade was fast, easy and honest. Unlike on other Honda Dealerships in the are, Brett did not ask any unnecessary questions. He simply appraised my trade and provided the price. While it took about 2 weeks to finally find the 2017 CRV EX AWD, Brett followed up on a daily basis to give me updates about incoming shipment of vehicles and resulted in finding the car we were looking for. After visiting quite a few Honda dealers in the area, I can say without a doubt that Brett made the critical difference in our decision to purchase from Leith Honda for the following simple reasons: -He was extremely friendly, professional and polite from beginning to end. -He showed great respect for our time and took our requests seriously without hesitation. -He was honest and clear in every interaction. My husband and I recently bought my first ever brand new car here and our salesperson, Porter, gave me my first positive buying experience of a Leith car. My only regret is trading my old car in because the next day, friends of ours were rear-ended and we would have gotten our car to them. I have done business the service department at Leith Honda for the past 11 years , but due to an aging car with increasing problems, needed to get a new one and decided to buy from the this dealership as I had not experience any major problems with the Service Department except when it comes to non routine maintenance they need improvement diagnosing issue. I never purchased a vehicle from Leith and though with the not so bad experience with their service department I would purchase from them. Sales process was not a bad a experience, but trying to received a refund from an extended warranty is quickly leaving a sour taste in my mouth. I have personal deliver the refund request to the dealership, to a business manager and after allowing the 30+days for processing contacted the dealership- that request was never received by the cancellation center so needed to start the process over which I personally went to the dealership again and hand deliver the request again to the business manager. I am told to allow 6 weeks (month and half) for the refund. The refund should have been done within 60 days of my purchase now I fear that if it does in fact reach where it needs to and process it will be for a prorated amount. This is a brand new 2018 Accord so the factory's warranty is still in effect but just know something else is going. This dealership seems to be playing games. The business never wants to respond to emails even after a couple of them. I realize dealership make money on this add ons and will be charge back when refunds are issued. I never should have the crappy warranty especially with no information about the terms and coverage at the time of purchase. This was my first purchase and will be my last at Leith and after 11 years dealing with the service department will take it elsewhere to a non-owned Leith dealership. read more

Very very easy to deal with, not pushy, and I really feel like I got the best possible deal on my new car. I really could not have asked for a better salesman. Went in for service waited for 30 mins to get checked in then 3 hours for service the tech supposedly check the air pressure in all 4 tires and adjusted them to the correct pressure a little while later the tire pressure light came on all tires were set to 26 PSI way under what it should be!!! Also one of the valve stem caps was missing! It would be in your best I treat to use Tao auto or auto park Honda both have much better customer service. read more
