We have used Leland plumbing before, so when we wanted to install a new outdoor heater that runs on natural gas- we called for a quote. Jeff came out and ran the gas line from under the house and hooked it into the heater. The gas line was meticulously run- which I appreciated because it is visible. This may sound basic- but he showed up at the time he said he would and knocked out the work in less than a day. Not always the case with other contractors. I have a home in Larkfield and called Jeff Leland to service my heater. Jeff found a break in the heating chamber wall, which would cause Carbon Monoxide and other poisonous gases to emit into the home. My heater was out of service. Jeff gave me an estimate for a new heater and I signed a contract for the install. Jeff Leland installed a new Heater for my home and everything went perfectly. He was on time, removed the old heater and hauled it away, installed the new heater, fully tested it and was finished early. I had appointments away from the home, and when I returned, I had a brand new energy efficient heater installed and up and running. Jeff helped me to install a new Thermostat as well. Jeff Leland is a super Pro and I highly recommend his service. When he was finished, everything was cleaned up perfectly and I am very happy that I found Jeff. $150 per hour??? For a plumber??!?? I could have had my lawyer come fix my pipes for less. These guys came, did the job, left a huge mess, and hit me for $500 for two hours work. Leland explained why he charged me an extra $150 for his assistant's hour. I paid him. Then my wife pointed out that $150 per hour for a plumber is wrong. And they left my tools and my walkway and my front porch covered with mud. This company will not be allowed on my property again. Beware. They charge what they think they can get away with. My heater stopped working on a Friday morning. I was worried because I was planning on babysitting the grandchildren for the night and did not want it to be too cold for them. I called Leland Plumbing heating and cooling in Windsor, CA. They have serviced my heater in years past and always did a great job. They called back and said they would stop by at the end of the day. I was so thankful. I was still worried that it will be a major fix because my house furnace is almost 30 years old but hoping it would be a small fix not a new furnace. I went to home depot and bought a new electric heater just in case and started warming up the house. It turned out to be only the wall temp control unit and also a electrical part in the furnace. It was so kind of them to stop by here and fix my problem at the end of a Friday so I would not be without a heater for the weekend. I will always continue to use this business. $315 to install a Wi-Fi Thermostat. Almost 3 times the cost of the thermostat. That is just crazy. Leland contacted me by letter and after talking to them I did receive a $150 refund. I would also like to add that about 11/2 years ago they did replaced my ducts and installed a new furnace. Most of this work was done by Mark and I was very satisfied with the work and the cost of it. read more

We called Moore heating and air-conditioning to get an estimate on a repair, or replacement of our air-conditioning unit. The gentleman came out seemed thorough, and left us with an estimate of $3500 for repair, and something around $10,000 for a replacement. Not expecting this much money, we called Leland on Monday night. They came out the next day, and repaired my air-conditioner for $299. I am still astonished. It took about 25 minutes, they were in and out, completely professional, and my bank account doesn't hurt. I cannot recommend this company too much. read more

They did work which was not needed (later one of them explained "I wish you had been here before we started." The two who showed up were young and unprofessional.
