Loved this place!!! Came here for dinner Friday night with reservations and seated right away. The restaurant is so cute! Our server Myrna was outstanding--friendly, attentive and offered great food recommendations. Started off with Hawaiian Rolls, Yuzu Yellowtail Crudo, and the Bone Marrow & Shrimp. The bone marrow & shrimp was so flavorful, one of my favorite dishes. Highly recommend the 16oz. Wagyu Picanha--meat was tender and cooked perfectly. The Jerk Duck was good too, however, a bit dry--may have been better if accompanied with a sauce. Creamed Onion and Confit Domino Potato were great sides too! Tried the Frozen Pina Colada--was not a fan of this, tasted extremely sour and texture was too thick (had dragonfruit and mezcal swirl in it), but was able to exchange it for a different cocktail. We were so full at the end so we didn't get to try desserts, next time!

More, please!! Loved it! We were so impressed with how the building has been restored, honored, and, yet, repurposed. Wonderful vibes, as the kids say. Service that's 100% welcoming and attentive from the first steps in the door, it's easy to fall in love by this place. Next time I might just eat off the starter list as there are so many pleasurable treats. You'll call your mama and shame her for ever baking frozen fish sticks after treating LH's version. The mini tacos are fun and full and flavorful. The yellowtail crudo almost had ME having a "I'll have what she's having" moment. The sugar steaks are delightful, and the 10oz filet well prepared (we didn't add any accoutrements) and cutable with a fork. Th halibut was the special fish and was, indeed, special. Buttery for sure, but the vegetables and tomato sauce in which it came (just enough wisps without overwhelming) lifted it to a new level. Then, the desserts. Yowza! The cheesecake and the fudge cake. Those were both When Harry Met Sally moments for her. Gimmie more!!

First time here and it was a good experience. First, the parking is only street parking or you can park in the lot. The place is pretty and spacious. We sat upstairs. We got the scallops which was delicious, the side of onions was okay, not my favorite. The masa and cheese was yummy. Everything there was yummy, nothing to complain about. The drinks were also delicious. Service was good, very nice and good staff. I would come here again.

I've driven past this spot several times without realizing it was actually on my list of places to try. The location is so unique--definite Supperland vibes. We sat upstairs and had a gorgeous view of the entire restaurant. It's truly a beautiful space. Service was outstanding. Our server offered helpful suggestions, knew the menu well, responded quickly, and was incredibly patient. This was a small ladies' outing to celebrate a birthday, and everything flowed perfectly. No disappointments at all. Food & Drinks: * Oysters Delicious * Cocktails Perfectly balanced * Branzino + Chilean sea bass Big hit * My "boring" chicken Not boring at all--amazingly flavorful! Overall, such a great experience. I'd absolutely come back!

This ribeye was amazinggg, loved the crunch on the aged rice, and thought the fish sticks were a fun tasty elevated take on a classic snack. The scallops were def our fave and melt in your mouth. Our server helped us pick out a red wine to accompany our ribeye and she was spot on with her rec! Love the vibe and concept of the restaurant and agree it is a unique floor space.

This place has been living rent free in my head since the rumblings of its opening began. Finally popped in for a birthday dinner last night. It did not disappoint! Have you ever had/heard of creamed onions?! You're welcome. The total revamp is splendid, courtesy of the team who brought us Supperland. We also enjoyed the scallops with trumpet mushrooms and lemon risotto. Delicious. You MUST try the Chilean sea bass wrapped in sweet potato. Loved the Hawaiian rolls to start. Everything we had was wonderful, and Brennan was a terrific server!

Daily special, tamale 5/5

Grabbed an early dinner with friends on a Saturday. Parking was easy, as I found a spot on the street right in front of the building. Our table was ready upon arrival. The first thing I noticed is that the building is beautiful. A former church, it's clear that the owners went to great lengths to achieve the aesthetic here. Service was great from beginning to end. 5/5. Unfortunately the food was so so. Perhaps I should've gotten a steak, but nothing that I tasted was great. I had the sea bass wrapped in sweet potato. We were told that it was a large portion, appropriate for sharing. the portion size was not larger than normal and definitely not big enough for sharing, but sufficient for a single serving. The sea bass was bland. A little salt and pepper or maybe a little lemon squeeze could've gone a long way. The scallops were tasty and the sauce the scallops were in -beurre blanc - was the highlight of the meal. Don't fall for the crispy rice. I'm not sure whether it's undercooked or overcooked rice, but it's just hard rice with a little paprika that's hard to eat. Maybe they left the rice on too long and rather than throwing it away, they called it crispy rice. You can't complain about it being hard because it's called CRISPY RICE. But I was expecting something..... better. Brussels sprouts were fine. Friends ordered Stracciatella. I didn't like it, but that was my first time and I don't think it was cooked wrong. I think I just don't like stracciatella. My friends enjoyed it. Tamales were a daily special and solid. Desert was fine. I will return and try something different. Either steak or something from the raw bar. While the food was meh, the ambiance and service made up for it.

Restaurant in an old Church, serving dinner and now brunch on The Weekend. Great place for our girls Christmas brunch. Service was fabulous, everyone here is trained well and very friendly. The place itself is quite grand. Really nice bar, great old school detail, nice space and design . They have a nice private space on the basement you can rent for private parties. The welcome lobby area is really nice. I loved the seating. We got seated straight away, unfortunately close to the door and it was cold so we kept getting blasts of cold air every time the door opened. This was my only negative. The food and drinks were awesome. They have a nice menu. Lots of unique dishes and some classics. We had a bottle of the Blanc de Blancs. Super bubbly and effervescent. They come round with a water enhancing plate, which is nice, fresh fruits to pick from to flavor your water. We ordered a few different dishes for the table starting with the tiny tacos! 2 per serving, yes tiny but loaded. We tried the lobster, wagyu ribeye tartare and fried avocado . All were awesome, the wagyu being my favorite. The truffle aioli and Serrano in this made it so decadent. The house made masa shells I loved too. Could have eaten more of these! Then we tried the yuzu yellowtail crudo. Delicious. So fresh, great flavors. The fish sticks is a must get and my favorite dish. Cod, lobster and shrimp mousse wrapped in panko served with house made tartar. Not your average fish stick! Not oily at all but light and airy inside. The stracciatella was ok, really well presented but a little bland. I liked the cornmeal flatbread. The cheese itself was very watery the chili oil was good. Crab Louie board was something different. Deconstructed crab salad essentially. Veggies serviced with fresh crab and their own dressings, liked the radish and asparagus. The half moon potato cakes were ok. A little disappointing as they were oily and very flat. Not a redo. The horchata coffee cake was yummy and it disappeared quickly ! The latte and coffee was great too and I loved the cups they come in! Very classy dishes and silverware. Really nice place and we enjoyed our brunch. Couple of the dishes I would not get again but overall everything was great. We were just cold the whole time as well. So try and get seating not by the door! Like to come back and have drinks at the bar which seemed really nicely stocked and maybe more tiny tacos!

I am a huge fan of Supperland and have been waiting to go to Leluia with them having the same owners. So when some friends said let's go to brunch, I said just tell me whet time. The food was great and the ambiance is so nice. A great spot for a bite to eat or to enjoy a sexy cocktail at the bespoke bar. I had the duck Benedict that just melted when you ate it. The cheese appetizer was delightful. The service was great....I didn't want to leave.

We enjoyed our first visit to Leluia Hall! We're big Supperland, Ever Andalo, etc. fans, so we were excited to come in on our anniversary to celebrate. The positives: - The space is absolutely gorgeous - you can tell how much love they put into restoring this old Charlotte gem - The drinks were excellent - fun that they have a bit of a tiki vibe with those! - The food was also excellent. We shared the bone marrow with shrimp and homemade purple masa tortillas (incredibly flavorful and unique), the picanha sugar-rubbed steak (beautifully seasoned and cooked), the potatoes (definitely crispier than we expected but good) and the creamed onions (the star of the show in my book - the sauce they came in was addictive, and the onions were beautiful). - Dessert was stellar - one of the best basque-style cheesecakes I've ever tasted! The critiques; - Our waiter was not very friendly. The hosts downstairs were wonderful and made us feel very welcome (they even let us explore the wine cellar downstairs!), but it felt our waiter was having a bad night or something - he barely engaged with us and wasn't super attentive. - The air conditioning seemed to stop halfway through our meal, which wouldn't have been as noticeable if we had been downstairs, but it got pretty warm up in the mezzanine (granted, we did come on one of the hottest days of the year, but we didn't expect to be warm indoors). - The mezzanine in general - it was a cool space, but the vibe and excitement seemed to be on the main level. All in all, we would definitely come back and give Leluia Hall another shot (I really want to try one of the seafood entrees!). It often takes a few months to work the kinks out, and the food was extremely memorable!

This is a great new spot! We love how this restaurant group takes historical buildings and preserves the foundation of what the building once was. This is no different. A church now a beautiful restaurant with many features of the church still present. Service started off a bit slow but then got into a flow and we enjoyed our server. The meal was also top notch and we think we like the food above Supperland. We were disappointed by the cocktails, most drinks were very sweet forward. Our favorite items of the night (because we couldn't just choose one): tartare mini tacos, sea bass, waygu beef, and vegetable sautè. This is a great spot for any celebration!

Roasted chicken and Brussel sprouts
Amanda ..

I love every other place from this restaurant group so had to give this a try! It didn't disappoint. I only wish I came hungrier so we could've tried something from every part of the menu. We had the stracciatella to start which was unique and delicious! The chicken and brussel sprouts were also great - not a "wow" - but definitely would come back. All the workers were very attentive and helpful.

Chilean Sea Bass

Leluia Hall is a stunning and thoughtful addition to the excellent restaurant group that includes Supperland, Ever Andalo, and Haberdish. Like Supperland, Leluia Hall is housed in a beautifully restored church, and while some of the original décor has been preserved, the updates breathe new life into the space, giving it a fresh and vibrant feel. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. We were promptly seated upon entering the charming lobby area (with a reservation), setting a positive tone for the evening. A nice touch was being offered still or sparkling water, with an optional infusion of lime, cucumber, or mint--a small but memorable detail that elevated the experience. To drink, we ordered a glass of Chardonnay and the Chicha Morada. The Chicha was a non-alcoholic option and absolutely delicious--refreshing and flavorful. Our meal included: Chilean Sea Bass - Expertly cooked and wrapped in sweet potato, this dish was a standout. The chimichurri added a bright, herbaceous note that balanced the sweetness beautifully. Jerk Duck - Incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The portion was generous, and the accompaniments--pickled vegetables, jalapeño, a creamy sauce, and a crisp salad--added layers of texture and taste. Potato & Poe - A savory potato pancake topped with salmon roe. While it was enjoyable, I was hoping to try the other potato option, which was unfortunately sold out. Vegetable Sauté - A medley of perfectly roasted vegetables, with the pickled mushrooms stealing the show--absolutely crave-worthy. Overall, Leluia Hall delivers on both food and service. It's a welcome addition to the Charlotte dining scene, and I'm already planning my return to try the other potato dish, the sea bass ceviche, and more from their tempting menu. Highly recommend! Minus 1 star because they were sold out of a few food items. Also had to pay to make an online reservation. I'd rather have to pay if I didn't show up.

Tucked at 435 S Tryon, this spot feels like stepping back in time while still enjoying modern elegance. The building itself is the star before you even sit down: a beautifully preserved 1929 Mediterranean Revival gem (originally Ratcliffe's Florist Shop) with original floors, red-brick walls and those stunning decorative Tiffany-style stained-glass windows. The arched ceilings and historic details make the whole room glow -- it's romantic, warm, and full of old Charlotte charm without feeling stuffy. You can literally feel the history while you dine. The menu has that perfect "olden take" I was hoping for -- classic fine-dining favorites done with fresh, New American flair. Think herb-crusted rack of lamb with rosemary jus, pan-seared Chilean sea bass, local shrimp & grits, or a perfectly grilled filet mignon; not leave out the duck, elk and emu. Everything is beautifully plated, and the portions are generous for this level. (Pro tip: add the lobster tail upgrade if you're celebrating!) Service was polished and friendly -- our server knew the wine list and the building's backstory, which made the night even more special. The whole experience felt special-occasion worthy but not pretentious. Whether you're coming before a show at the Knight Theatre or just treating yourself Uptown, Bernardin's delivers on atmosphere, history, and food. Easily one of my new favorite spots in Charlotte. The only thing I'll note is that the menu says it comes with fingerling potatoes and I don't think that's what I got. Not a huge issue obviously. I liked that the tables were a good distance from each other and the servers were very kind and knowledgeable. Everything was amazing and if I lived in Charlotte, I would be going here often.

We had reservations but it wasn't overly busy so I don't think they were necessary for that day and time but I would definitely recommend on busier times. I love the fact that this is more of a tapas style restaurant so you can order and taste a ton of options. Plates are generally around $14-22 per plate and they have enough for three or four (tapas style). We started with crab dip and oysters on the half shell (raw). The crab dip was rich and creamy and served with buttered crusty, buttered bread. The oysters were amazing too but a little nuance about these: they are listed by region (e.g. West Coast, Mid-Atlantic, etc.) and not listed as they type of oyster. Oysters vary greatly within a single region so I would encourage you to ask what specific oysters they serve for each region (they will look it up and tell you) to make sure you know what you are getting. We also ordered the calamari, small salad (unlisted option for the salad listed on the menu) and poke bowl to share. We went in hungry and probably ordered too much because this was all to start off. Everything was really good and worth ordering. For my "entree" or ordered the trout which comes with lentils and broccolini. This dish was fantastic and highly recommended. The trout was perfectly cooked and delicious. Our waitress, Tiffany, was amazing and did a great job. Seafood is expensive, I get that. But I don't know that there's much value to be had here. Portion sizes are small relative to what you're paying for. And in my opinion, while the freshness and the quality of the seafood may be there, the flavor is not. I have no doubt that the quality of the seafood here is good. But I did not enjoy anything I ordered. I wasn't put off by the food, but I wish I had wanted to savor each bit. I ordered the cajun grilled oysters and the miso sablefish. I thought both were too salty and despite paying over $40 for the meal, I left still a bit hungry.

No apology from management. No attempt to fix it. Just blame the customer and move on. If your website is showing incorrect pricing, that's a business problem, not something customers should be penalized for. Expecting people to troubleshoot your website before ordering food is honestly ridiculous!! This wasn't just about the money because I've spent hundreds here... it was the complete lack of professionalism and customer service. Do yourself a favor and double-check EVERYTHING before you order here... apparently their online menu can't be trusted and management doesn't care one bit! Also celebrating a birthday and the lack of accountability was DISGUSTING. I'll spend my money at a better establishment in the future

As guests at the hotel--and with a snowstorm swirling outside--we especially appreciated having a restaurant of this caliber right downstairs. This is not a typical hotel coffee-shop setup. Mico delivers a true high-end dining experience that easily stands on its own. I had read that the menu carries an Argentinean influence, though that wasn't immediately obvious on my first pass. The offerings lean heavily into seafood while also featuring several prime beef options, giving the menu a nice range. Because it was the final weekend of Charlotte's Restaurant Week, my wife ordered the hanger steak, paired with lobster bisque and the North Carolina apple bread pudding. The steak had excellent flavor, a perfect char, and was cooked exactly as requested. The bisque was especially welcome on a cold night, though it was a bit heavier on salt than I prefer. The bread pudding, however, was a standout--so much so that we ordered a second. I went with the Pampas seared ahi tuna. The presentation was beautiful, and the sear was spot-on. The South American Parmesan fries were served hot and crisp, making them an easy favorite. Mico is the kind of restaurant that works equally well for locals seeking a polished night out and travelers who want a memorable meal without leaving their hotel. It's a strong dining destination in its own right.

The apple pie pudding was so delicious as well. I loved the atmosphere, the designs inside were beautiful. Service was great.

But this place has it down 100% 6 different choices of oysters to sample. Each one amazing. Don't like oysters? No problem they have any other options, all amazingly prepared and presented. You can go wrong! Had the Guacamole poke. Ask for tortilla chips instead of the wantons. Much better!! The wagyu frites were cooked to perfection! Absolute delight dinner spot when in downtown Charlotte at the JW Marriott! Come get some!

Huge shout out to our server, Nas, who was on the ball all night. Thanks for a great evening! We started with a dozen sweet, plump oysters with very little brine. Exactly our style. Clean, fresh, and delicious. That flavor bomb I mentioned earlier? The pimento cheese fritters. This was seriously a mouth orgasm, yeah I said it. Crispy, spicy crust with warm pimento cheese oozing out of the center. Add the house made buttermilk dip and it's pure heaven. Everything else was top notch as well. Flavorful and tender calamari, freshly made clam chowder, seafood tagliatelle, and a wagyu burger that absolutely melts in your mouth with two smashed patties. One thing was better than the other. This place is definitely a staple anytime we're out in Charlotte.

There are tons of restaurants in the area, highly rated too, but I didn't feel like going into any of them. I kept walking and walking until I saw The Fifth Fork. Unlike every other restaurant in Charlotte, this one was empty and quiet; there were about 2 other guests in the whole restaurant when I walked in. I took a seat, not knowing what I was getting myself into at all. The menu is simple but delicious and seemed very fresh. I got the grouper. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. This restaurant is fancy but the staff is very personable and kind. To start off my meal, they gave me a complimentary bread roll. I will say, the bread wasn't the best because it was kind of stale, even though it was warm. I think it's just the texture of the bread that wasn't soft to begin with. One of the servers told me this restaurant will be changed into something completely different soon. Glad I got to try it when I did.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and once they knew I had a timeline to hit had kept everything on time to ensure I could make my show with plenty of time. The food was a bit of a mixed bag unfortunately. The Caesar salad was delicious and filling. The salmon was the miss. The salmon was overcooked and dry, where the creamed spinach was extremely bitter. I didn't end up finishing my entree which was disappointing. I would return in the future as I've heard other lovely things and would be open to trying other options.
