My friend and I were looking for a quick bite to eat before a long work session and came here. We both got the breakfast wrap. I got mine with turkey sausage and spent about $9. It was really good! The service was good, the girl at the front was really nice and helped my friend make substitutions to her order. My only con is the food isn't really filling so I think the sandwich should be $5-6. I think people with a bigger appetite would need to order more for but that's it. It's a cute and small cafe. You really could sit and enjoy your meal while people watching. Ambiance lovely. Great hole in the wall. If you're in one of the hotels nearby come here. Lovely music and excellent service. I only tried the hummus wrap and awaze tips panini - both were spicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I seriously think this is one of the top 5 restaurants I've been to in the DMV area. One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Meeting Mrs. Beth was like meeting a long lost relative. Nothing but love. She is the nicest owner I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I've never had Ethiopian food so I was a bit anxious with selecting what to eat! Mrs Beth recommended I try the kifto panini and awaze tibs and let me tell you.. after my first bite of each of my sandwiches. I just stood up and gave her a hug. They were both out of this world delicious. I simply couldn't believe what I was missing from my life. Mrs. Beth seemed overjoyed by my reactions and she insisted I try some treats on the house and so I did and everything was just marvelous. I'll sit through 270 traffic any day to come here! After hearing so many great things about this place, I decided to stop by for lunch. When I entered, they had jazz playing, which was very nice. It's a small space, with a few tables available both outside and inside for dining. I ordered a chicken club wrap to go, and it was delicious! I usually worry about ordering chicken because it tends to be dry, but not here. It was flavorful and juicy. There were only three workers, and they moved at a slow pace to get the orders out. However, I'm not mad about the pace; it was clear they were deliberately taking their time to get the orders right. Just don't go if you're in a hurry. :D I will definitely be back again. read more

I decided to try this place after reading all the great reviews. Plus it's in the neighborhood and I felt like taking a little walk. I wanted to try the vegan breakfast wrap that people are raving about and It DID NOT disappoint!! The wrap was sooo good. So much flavor. It has scrambled tofu, mushrooms, tomato, onion and avocado. Even if you are not vegan, you will enjoy it. I also had a side of potatoes that came with a delicious aioli dip. I also dipped the wrap in the sauce too because it was just too good lol. THE BEST PLACE IVE BEEN TO IN A WHILE! First of all as soon as you enter the cafe Mrs. Beth greets you with the sweetest smile ever. she asked if it was the first time and gave us a menu in hand to look at and recommended a few times on the menu. She came over and checked on us a few times and made sure we had everything we needed! The chicken pesto panini was delicious that pesto sauce had so much flavor! I tried some of the kitfo panini and WOW I can't even describe the flavor except explodes in your mouth and wishing this pace was closer to me! I traveled all the way from frederick for this and I promise you it's worth the drive. The Awaze Tibs was out of this world i should've ordered more than one. We dined in so they serve each panini with a side salad with a zesty dressing. This would be the go to place if i had one nearby. She was so generous enough to let us try some of the famous lemon slice cake. She truly was a gentle soul like a friend who truly feels like family. It's a small cafe in downtown Silver Spring with outdoor seating and a few small tables inside. I met a friend for breakfast on a Sunday morning and between the two of us we had the breakfast wrap with bacon, home fries, and two breakfast sandwiches. My greedy friend enjoyed both of his sandwiches while I wasn't too happy with my wrap or the home fries. The bacon in my wrap was flimsy and the lemon slice sauce it comes with was overwhelming and without flavor. The home fries appeared flavorful and the server warned us that they were spicy but I tasted no such thing. Despite my not being happy with my breakfast choices I will absolutely be returning! Such a sweet little cafe. We arrived just after they opened on a Sunday and it was quiet with relaxing, ambient music playing. We ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a veggie breakfast sandwich, both of which were so good. A veggie breakfast sandwich with spinach and mushrooms can easily go south but this was the best I've had in a long time. Whatever the marinade or sauce is is so perfect. We also ordered two coffees and those were great. I was bummed they didn't have an espresso machine but they offer to add cream and sugar to your coffee for you and that hit the spot for my usual vanilla latte. Plenty of indoor or outdoor seating, WiFi, and vegan options, this hidden gem has a bit of everything. The person working was incredibly kind and quick with our orders even though they were the only one working and other patrons were steadily streaming in. This is a breakfast/lunch cafe. This review has readable pictures of their entire menu. The cafe is located on the first floor of an office building. It has entrances from the exterior and interior of the building. There was one table and 7 chairs outside in addition to 6 small tables with chairs inside. Restrooms were down the hallway inside the building. You need a key from the security guard to access them. The restrooms were very clean. There was a toilet, a urinal and 2 sinks in the men's room and one toilet with one sink in the women's room.    My wife and I bought the Vegetable Omelet with bacon added and the Breakfast Tacos. The Vegetables Omelet had good natural flavors from the bacon, cheddar cheese and vegetables (spinach, onion, bell peppers and mushrooms). It was a simple combination of ingredients that tasted very good. Nothing fancy about it. The eggs were not fluffy and there was no seasoning added. It came with a piece of toast sliced in half. The bacon had an extra cost of $1. Get it, if you want savoriness in your food.    The Breakfast tacos had 2 tacos that contained scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, sausage, sour cream and green jalapeño hot sauce. It had a very good combination of flavors. Nicely balanced with no prominent flavor. It was moderately spicy and the sour cream flavor stood out a little.    They have sandwiches, salads, paninis, wraps and breakfast items on their menu. There were desserts, canned drinks and bottled drinks in a display case. Everything was very affordable. The service was friendly but not very quick. We were the ONLY people in there with an order and it took 17 minutes for our food to get to us. The food preparation time was NOT slow by any means, just longer than expected. We would recommend this cafe because of the value. The food was good tasting and the cost was low for this area. read more
