I've been a customer at Lenny's since I moved to the area in 2005 and the service continues to get worse and worse every time I visit. If you go anytime after 1 pm the bagels are most likely going to be hard as a rock. Lenny is always in a bad mood and his two sons that work there are too. I've seen the taller balding son treat customers like complete garbage on multiple occasions, cursing and throwing out customers for no reason whatsoever. It's bad enough Lenny treats the customers like crap, but hes bred his children to follow in his footsteps. I know the food inspectors in the area who have told me their coolers are routinely set to unsafe temperatures with fish and other various meats stored inside. Who knows what kind of bacteria could be growing in there. The last time I was in there I asked them to remake my sandwich since they got my order completely wrong and they made a face and I could hear them cursing at me while they walked back to remake it. Apparently at Lenny's the customer is never right. I used to enjoy this place, but over the years my view has changed significantly. Now I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Been coming to Lenny's my entire life... 25 years ... hoping Lenny sees this and makes some changes. Back home and wanted to go to my favorite bagel shop. Ordered a "Flagel" (flat bagel) and whitefish salad. Guy rings me up and it's $12.99! For a thin spread of whitefish! No toppings or extras! In what universe should this cost $13? I can understand inflation but $8.99 would be more than reasonable even in today's economy. Rethink your pricing please. read more
