I'm leaving this one star review for them catering we received from the Lennys at Appling and 64. We ordered $600 worth of sandwiches for my daughters wedding reception and when my caterer went to pick them up they were soggy and the order was wrong. The lettuce and tomatoes were wilted. We asked them before we ordered them if they would be fresh and they said absolutely. My caterer contacted the owner and he sent us a $50 gift card which was ok because there's nothing we can do about it after the fact. Just thought they would've done more. We eat there every week, sometimes more than once and always have gotten great service and food. I just Don't recommend using them for catering if it's something that matters. read more

I've visited this location a few times in the past since I live in Bartlett; however, was never expecting my sandwich to be more bread then a sandwich. I ordered a Garden Salad Sandwich through the Lennys app and used the curbside pickup. My order pretty much included all the ingredients (lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers, oil, cucumbers, black olives, etc.). Bread was falling apart (see image). Then when I opened my sandwich, literally: - Pinch of lettuce - 1 slice of cucumber - Zero black olives..wait there was a piece that fell out when I opened my bread (I'll give them credit for being aware) - Tomatos (hmmm...theres that half a thin slice on top) - Onions (found it...there was one under the pinch of lettuce) But hey, they got me enough peppers right. My other sandwich was identical; however, my wife's philly cheese was perfectly dressed. Whoever made my sandwich which consisted of bread, cheese, and peppers I think it's time for a career change. Somehow, this sandwich exceeded any expectation I had. I've had Lenny's plenty of times over the years. It was something to eat, it it was never something that impressed me. I forgot the name of what I ordered, but it did impress. And because of covid, I called from the parking lot, and a young man ran out to my car (yes he was running) and collected my payment, and another employee brought me my sandwich within five minutes. Since I can't eat in, I only ordered the sandwich. It hit the spot and service was great! read more

Omgoshhhhh these sandwiches are legit. My hubby and I are visiting from Las Vegas and needed to grab a couple sandwiches to take to the airport. My hubby had an Italian and mine was an American club. The only thing wrong with mine was the missing bacon. Other than that everything about it was fresh and delicious. When we come back to town we'll be back !!! Last night was my first visit to any Lenny's location. My dad had a hankering for a #4 ("mile high" turkey - basically a turkey and provolone sandwich). I picked up 3 of them; I ate my entire sandwich; my folks each had half of theirs so they each have leftovers (these are the 7 and a half inch size subs). I ate my whole sandwich - I eat more than they do. Everything was really good. The ingredients were fresh and the flavor was spot on. The people that work there are very friendly and efficient. The menu is diverse without being overwhelming...very streamlined. There are different categories and choices - hot subs, cold subs, salads, kaiser sandwiches and kids options. There are extra ingredients available to add and the choices range from the very healthy, meatless and cheese-less options to the grease-laden, cheese, gooey-ness of a philly cheesesteak. It's been a while since I have last visited this Lenny's location in Bartlett. I was pleasantly surprised at how spectacular of an experience I had while dining here. Walked in, ordered, & sat down. Our food was out quickly. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. When our sandwiches arrived, I noticed mine was chicken & not steak. I went to the counter, told a staff member about the mix up. My new sandwich was out in record time - it was delicious! What really made this experience stand out, was how the situation was handled. When I originally brought my sandwich to the counter, I was given a sincere apology by the employee who was handling my situation. Not only did he come by to apologize once I sat down (while I waited on my new sandwich), but he came by again, after I received my new sandwich, to make sure everything came out ok and that I was happy. I observed him checking on other guests, interacting with some of his regulars, and keeping the shop clean, organized, & ready to go! I honestly can't believe I received such incredible service at a Lenny's? Austin, thank you so much for your incredible hospitality and customer service. Thoroughly pleased and impressed. Why? Because I spent the moment to find them online and place a catering order from Austin, TX for a memorial service. Without knowing the menu and all the options from the Online resources, I decided to place a direct call. The manager and staff were able to assist me in ordering what I needed and accommodate me with this very SPECIAL delivery request that was out of their normal scope. Not sure how the "locals" feel with their "in-store" reviews, but I can attest that ordering from Austin, TX was a breeze and an amazing relief in an otherwise trying time for friends in the area. read more

Place an online order for the first time in the years I've been going to this lennys. Yes, it is a hit or miss but most takeout places are these days. Got my order and the bread on my 5" mile high turkey sandwich is the crustiest, hardest bread I've ever encountered and my so called 10" philly cheese steak only consisted of meat (the driest crustiest looking steak I've ever seen) and onions despite placing the order online and specifically adding these items. Called lennys while my son drove back to return the sandwich and was immediately placed on hold for 12 minutes while the worker helped customers inside, understandable, some people can't walk and chew gum and I happen to be one of those people. Requested to speak with manager and was told no manager in but she was shift manager. Explained the issue to her and she explained that when ordering online you have to select blah blah blah and I'm explaining to her that I did. She's like what do you want me to do cause this the order we got.... Really?.. She was very off putting about remaking my sandwich but little do they know who I am and just be glad I was mild mannered with her cause it could've been worse. I passed two lennys just to visit this one. What I am sick of is businesses disrespecting the customer, their time and their money. So what you get angry customers, that's the job YOU chose!!! This was the worst sandwich I have EVER tasted and that's saying a lot seeing as I have been on this Earth for 30 years. I ordered the chicken philly and the chicken was so chewy. I have enjoyed eating at this Lenny's for many years. The food is fantastic. The amount of meat on these sandwiches is super - and the taste is superb! I've enjoyed the Sub Club and the Italian many times. I've gotten to meet different folks who work there through the years, even made some friends. I've eaten here numerous times and it's always been just... ok. Today my wife and I ordered take-out on the app. We ordered two chicken phillys. As soon as my wife placed the order, I told her I didn't want onions on the sandwich. She IMMEDIATELY called the store to correct the order. I mean like 30 seconds later. The girl that answered the phone said it was too late, it's already on the grill and she couldn't change . Wait what?!! You mean to tell me that after we pre-pay for the order and you have our money that you can't fix a mistake???? That's bad business! So anyway...we ate our sandwiches which were loaded with half a million caramelized onions. Fast forward five hours later and I cannot get that nasty taste out of my mouth after brushing and gargelling with Listerine five times. What a pleasant surprise! My husband and I were visiting Memphis, and decided to get some subs at Lenny's for lunch. This Lenny's made us the best subs we have ever had! Tons of meat, cheese, and great service! One of the employees opened the door and greeted us upon arrival, and everyone was so friendly. I've always liked Lenny's, but this one is head and shoulders above our ones back home. Wow, I just wish I could've taken a picture of my buffalo chicken philly before I ate it all. Have you ever gone to the same place over and over just to see if they can possible continue the streak of messing up your order? This particular Lenny's and I have that kind of relationship. The stars are for reasoning that most of their hero's are tasty. However, the fact that they seem to always get my order made wrong is comical. I work nearby and have been to this Lenny's @ eight times within one year. For seven straight times, my order has been wrong. Tasty, but wrong. It is almost like the person preparing my hero the way I have asked says to themselves, "Nah, they don't really want it like that!" Then proceeds to make it their way. Great and friendly staff here at this location! I've skipped the online ordering mainly because I don't want to sign up for an account and the people here make my sandwich super fast anyway. I've only ordered the Mile High Turkey, but I pack a lot of veggies into the sandwich. They also give you so much meat slices, which I absolutely love! The 5" sandwich is enough to fill me up for dinner. I have gotten the turkey sandwich as a wrap instead (spinach wrap) and it was okay - I'd rather have the sub - more ingredients are packed in the sandwich. This location is a great quick stop for a super fast healthy meal (if you know how to make it healthy)! read more

Lenny's is great! What you first notice, is when you walk in the door you're greeted. The restaurant was very clean the dining area appeared spotless. Although the line was long, the order taking went very fast. And payment also is fast. The order from start to finish took approximately 3 minutes maybe 2, and that includes waiting in line. The food tastes fantastic fresh and hot. Not knowing that they need cook their food fresh right there and you can actually see and hear the grill person working the grill. This is probably the best Lenny's visited yet. read more

However, the floor was greasy somewhere inside, and I had a hard time getting all the grease off my shoes almost slipping. The bathroom needed paper towels, and I was a tad disappointed they no longer carry canned soft drinks. Overall though, it was a great experience. read more

This rating is not for the food but the sub was not made correctly. The food is customary Lenny's and usually what's to be expected from a deli sandwich. However I ordered online and scheduled my pickup for a particular time. I get to the establishment ten minutes after the pick up time that was scheduled and my order was not ready. It was not even in the process of being made. Again this rating is not for the food. This is purely based off the service. And of course the order has been made wrong since they were rushing. read more

I was able to try the french dip and Philly cheesesteak when I was in town and both are very tasty. Both had generous amounts of meat and the bread was very fresh and soft. The au jus for the dip was really good and wasn't too salty. I'll definitely be back. read more

This Lenny's has some outgoing employees who do their best to get your food to you quickly and correctly. Lenny's subs are amazing: lots of meat on everything. They do not skimp! Their hot pepper relish is a nice touch on many subs, but you have to request it. It's got a salty, peppery flavor that adds a certain zing. Weeknights for dinner I have not found the lines to be long, and even when they are they move quickly. Friday lunchtime was very busy, but still quick. Weekends it all depends on what time of day you go. The Italian, the club, and the turkey are all favorites, and if you become addicted they'll sell you their sliced meats in bulk as well! read more

I just moved from DC Metro and was introduced to Lenny's. My first experience was the location on N. Germantown Pkwy and I loved it. I was training in the area last week and tried the location on Stage Road. The first thing I noticed was the staff is not as personable as the other location. I got the classic the first two days and it was ok. On the third day I decided to try the meatball sub, not good. The sandwich was cold. I found this odd for a meatball sub. I took one bite and decided to throw it out. It had a strange taste. I won't be back to this location. read more
