Still an amazing location. Dr Truong and staff are excellent. We have been going here for years and we won't go anywhere else. The facility is clean and the staff is professional and friendly. Been patronizing this LensCrafters on Rosedale Hwy for a couple of years now. I like to come here because the place is clean and the staff has always been kind and helpful. Doesn't hurt that they have a nice selection of eyeglass frames as well. I've also gotten my eye checkup here the last two years. Oh I forgot to take pictures lol. I really did enjoy this visit though! I had an appointment set up to get an eye exam and to pick out and buy some frames. First off the place is super nice! Very spacious with lots of wonderful selections of frames to choose from. The staff that I encountered that day were all friendly, bubbly and happy people! Lots of laughter throughout the store! Lol Since I showed up a bit early for my appointment, I was able to try on lots of different frames, and ended up going with these super cute cheetah print type frames, priced at $211.00. They have frames in all different price ranges, and in many different high name and low name? brands lol, I saw some as low as 50$ and up to 400$. Having Insurance helps! The eye exam went smoothly, the assistant first takes you to one of the back rooms where they have like 4 different machines set up in a row that they use to test your vision, some tests you do with your glasses off and some you do with your glasses on, very fun tests actually lol. Then after a little bit longer the actual doctor calls you back to a different room and examines your eyes up close, friendly guy and he did a very professional job. Then it's time to get everything fitted and priced up! Lots of different things you can choose to add on to your lenses that will cost more, but is a good idea because these features will come in handy! Brittany was the one who took care of me in the fitting and pricing area, she was just the nicest person ever lol, she even gave me an additional discount of 50$ off! Thanks Brittney!! Frames take 7-14 days to come and you pick them up from the store, waiting on mine now. I didn't feel taken advantage of at all. If anything they made me feel like a long time loyal customer! I had the strangest experience at this location. The staff up front are really nice but the EYE DOCTOR made it so I will never come back. I brought my daughter a few months ago and she mentioned that the doctor (Nelson) was a little rude and kept saying her vision is horrible and she needs to wear glasses 24/7 I got her glasses and that was that. Fast forward I scheduled myself an eye exam with the same doctor. I walk in and he didn't really acknowledge me or say hello so we sat in silence while he finished typing up whatever he was working on. As I was waiting I noticed numbers in front of me in the mirror they use for the exams and I could see them clear as day. Dr Nelson begins his exam and asks me if I wear glasses. I told him rarely. This seemed to bother him and he shook his head and seem annoyed by my answer. He places the eye machine on my face and I could see the letters on the screen fine and then he changes the lens and everything becomes blurry. He then asks me to read the letters and I couldn't. He said, "You need to wear your glasses if you can't see that" I told him I could see it just fine until he switched the lens and he stated "well that was with glasses". At this point I was frustrated because I knew damn well I could see the screen before just fine so I pushed the machine and looked at the letters and THIS MAN LITERALLY JUMPED UP AND TRIED TO BLOCK TGE LETTERS FROM VIEW AND SAID "NO DONT DO THAT" Guess what?! Once I moved the machine away I COULD SEE THE LETTERS JUST FINE! I looked at him and said "no this is bull I can see those letter just fine!" I'm not sure what his angle was and why he would do that honestly, but I was fuming after that appointment. I grabbed my prescription and did not buy anything and will never return. STRANGEST MOST DISHONEST EYE EXAM IVE EVER HAD. read more

Great service and selection! The prices for frames are high but it's because they are brand name. They do offer lens discounts often with frame purchases so be on the look out for those. The staff was professional and courteous. I felt very well taken care of and even though they were busy when I visited, they were attentive to answering questions and helpful. I also had my eye appointment here and had a great experience! Dr. Truong is fantastic, efficient, and thorough. I recommend seeing her for your eye exam. read more

I had a great experience at this location. So much to choose from including a discounted section as well. I usually bring a friend along so I can have some feedback on frames, but this time I went by myself. It took me over 2 hours to decide on a pair of frames along with pricing. Llma took it into her own hands and helped me decide which pair looked the best. She was kind, personable, and overall patient. Llma took her time to explain the pricing and the extra add ons. The staff is great but the optometrist has a terrible attitude I was hoping maybe the first time was a fluke but nope 2nd time was worst. He is rude and just not friendly. However because of other things outside of a crummy attitude I gave this place 3 stars. If I could avoid him it would be higher. This location is clean and usually busy but every now and then you can walk in and get all the time and attention you need to make a great choice. The front office staff, especially Anita and Nicholas (well all of them but I've interacted with them the most) are eager to assist help with choices that fit your face, and made sure I took advantage of all of my benefits. read more

I was seen today as a new patient. The office staff is very nice and welcoming. The two stars are all for them!!!! The lack of 5 stars was due to the doctor. He was dismissive, rude, condescending impatient, among other unprofessional tactics. He insulted me by saying there are not many providers that take my insurance. I was hurt and embarrassed. I would never return to this or any Lens Crafters based on my treatment by the doctor. I will find another doctor for their opinion of my eye issues. read more

I went in today with a prescription I had prior and the girls there were so helpful. They let me try on as many glasses as I wanted and I just had to put them on a tray so they can clean them before putting them back on the shelf. I ended up buying two pairs that I couldn't pass up. Worst customer service I've ever experienced! I've walked out of this place twice. The first time we called to say we were running late for the eye exam and walked in 4 minutes after the appointment. We were treated like children and told they would take the next appointments because they were on time. After over two hours we walked out. While we were waiting my daughter found the glasses she liked. We went to target optical and ordered the glasses online. Three months later the glasses broke and we decided to try this place again.... The problem this time was I had the photo of the prescription on my phone not a hard copy for them in person. When I asked if I could email they said they don't have a corporate email and it could have the doctor fax it over. I said ok would they contact the dr or should I? Another woman stepped in and said there fax machine hasn't been working only sometimes. I said ok so I need a hard copy? They were like yes. So I said maybe it would be easier to do this online and I got a scoff so I told my daughter let's go. When I called to ask who we had just had this ordeal with a woman named Stephanie answered the phone and said it was my problem and she's sad to hear I feel that way but it's the way it is and she started talking over me when I explained the customer service is really unprofessional. I told her I would be including her an email to their corporate and she laughed. I wrote corporate and now I'm on Yelp reviewing terrible experiences I've had with this store. Expect to be treated as an inconvenience and be met with blatant rudeness. read more

I walked in with my elderly mother. It was a little bit of a wait but understandably a busy time of the day. We had to get her a new pair of readers. We are thankful to Nicholas. He is by far the best at humility, empathy, communication, knowledge, and true customer care. He gained our trust to the highest level with Lens Crafters. Although I would love for him to stay at this location forever, he probably will be promoted up to corporate, he's that good. My first time ever going in to any eye dr and my experience there made me not want to go at all ever. I had an appt , not sure if it was too busy or they just didn't want to help me but people who walked in after me were getting seen before me and leaving before I was even getting seen. S.O.P. don't seem to be in play and I do not recommend this place for your first time. read more

Firstly, get to your appointment on time because they could get pretty busy. If you don't, you'll probably have to wait until there's time for you after other people's appointments, which is fair and expected since other people matter too. :) Everything should flow smoothly if you do so! Had an eye exam appt. for my daughter and I and was very pleased that there was no waiting time . Everything went smoothly , we both were seen by Dr Truong and I really appreciate the time she took to explain everything about our vision test . She was awesome I will definitely request her for our next exam . All the employees were very helpful in choosing our frames and had great customer service . The prices are pretty reasonable they had a great promotion , I got forty percent off my frames and lenses so that was a bonus for me . read more

(He had eye surgery that changed his prescription) They helped him pick out two frames (both closeup and far away) that fit his face, did all the measurements and fittings. Forget this place! Working out of town, and still didn't care to try and help. Asked to get prescription in older set of glasses, I was given a BS answer that they can't put prescription in because the side shields of the safety glasses were in the way. They still manufacture these kind of safety glasses, you're telling me your machines can't do it's job because of side shields?! I've had these done before, and didn't have a problem with a lab tech finding it to hard to do. Just your typical lazy half A.. "Lab Tech". One girl was nice enough to try and help, but first condescending woman was terrible. read more
