They were terrible. The girl who seemed to be the manager was very rude and not customer friendly at all. I have eyemed insurance and was supposed to only have a $25 copay on my lenses but ended up spending $65. Apparently you pay $40 for "materials" to make the lenses. That doesn't even make sense to me and when I told her that she didn't make any attempt to explain it or break it down. If I'm paying $40 for the materials, what is the $25 paying for? My boyfriend has received the worst lenses in his life. They fog up so easy and glair horribly. They were not only awful, they were also extremely over priced. Would not recommend coming to any Lens Crafters. Service there was also not that great. Try going to your local eye doctor and not this one. read more

This review is for Fox Run Eye Care P.L.L.C. That is within the Lense Crafters. They had a problem with insurance paying for contacts. Their services were paid for but they made a billing error for the product. Never reached out, I went to get copy of contact RX and they refuse to give copy even though services have been paid. I called insurance and they said it is the practice's mistake and they should have refilled or called. So now a copy of my minor daughter's prescription is being held hostage. read more

This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I was there 1 1/2 hours and sat at the desk while the associate help every person that walked through the door. She answer ever phone call and got every person that walked in the door there orders. She put my name and email into the computer in 1 1/2 hours. Wouldn't it be right to tell customers that came in after me to have a seat till the next available sales associate was free. The other lady working managed to get 2 orders filled while this associate just kept getting up leaving me sitting there with NOTHING!!!!! Took almost a month to get my sunglasses. Wrong lenses were ordered in December, probably an honest mistake, but they were also back ordered. So I waited for the back ordered lenses then found out they weren't even correct. Then had to wait for the right ones. Everytime I went in to pick up the sunglasses I wasted 30-45 minutes. The turn around time was slow, and as other reviewers have mentioned it's constantly busy. Just wasn't a great experience at all. When you spend $500+ for rx sunglasses you'd expect a decent experience. read more

Great service!! My husband and I went to the Fox Run Mall LensCrafters last night and were treated to outstanding customer service from Manager Michael LaFlamme and his team. We were greeted warmly, got great support for picking our glasses and Michael and his team made sure we were in and out as quickly as possible. Nice positive vibe. HORRIBLE!!! The person who was allegedly going to help when she was finished "assisting another customer" walked out of the store with her purse 5 mins later. The "Retail Manager finally started to assist us about 20 mins later. My Rx is less than 18 months old BUT the Rx in their system didn't have an expiration date. She had to double check with my doc in CT and of course the Rx was expired. Which totally feels like a they're getting kickbacks from their on site provider ESPECIALLY when I found out an exam is nearly $200!!! Will never go there again. read more

We had given up on LensCrafters at this location. However, I was desperate for an adjustment to my sunglasses before I went on vacation. (Free adjustments!) Met the new manager, Mike, who was beyond fantastic. The store looks great, people acknowledge you when you walk in, and Mike exemplified professionalism in that he gave me great attention and was able to acknowledge that one of his staff members needed help with another customer and briefly address that. I would love to have a place to buy affordable I wear that is not online. Fingers crossed! read more

Is there a negative one here? My glasses are dropped and lenses are broken. I stopped by yesterday. The lady was mocking at me! She even invited her colleagues over. So in one second, 3 ladies from lensecrafters were staring at my broken glasses and gave this really sarcastic sympathy. When it comes down to pricing, she is such a snob. She gave me the expensive price and the wrong quote about insurance discount. It happens people make mistakes on statement, but she addressed in very sarcastic and unwelcoming way. Choose somewhere else. Customer service is very poor. They were not able to make my glasses for 3 days due to technical problems, which is understandable. But they never gave me updates. I had to call every day to find out when my glasses might be done. Answers ranged from "later' to "2-3 days", every time a different answer. They did not take responsibility, only hid behind "not our fault, we had technical difficulties; ." Real customer service would have said - We are sorry for the problem; what can we do to make this less inconvenient for you. Instead of offering some sort of rebate for a few bucks, they have lost a customer who spends hundreds of dollars on glasses. read more

I would have to agree with the average 1.5 star review here, this place reminds me of buying a car. They will try to sell you every add-on that you don't need and no matter what time you go in they appear to be busy and short-staffed. The people that work there are nice enough, I went in two times and there was 2 people working there both times with a half dozen people waiting, not a good ratio, but it seems the owners of the company are more interested in getting you to buy add-ons that your insurance won't cover then they are in providing you quick, efficient service. Have a seat, bring a book. You'll be waiting for your eye exam, then you'll have to wait for a fitting when you pick out your frames and you'll need to wait again for someone to help you when you go to pick up your glasses. Gigantic selection, they should pay their help more and then they would have more people able to service you for a better experience and maybe get better than a 1.5 star average review. read more

So I visited lens crafters for the first time July 15th inquiring about how to get prescription sunglasses for my boyfriend. The guy there told me that what to do and that there was a section to choose from that would only take about an hour after they were fitted and what not. July 21st I brought my boyfriend in and picked out a pair of glasses from the section I was told would be able to get done that day. After getting fitted (using the glasses from the display which I thought was strange to begin with, they shouldn't be selling the glasses that are on display in my opinion) she tells us that it would be about up to 10 days. That those glasses had to be sent out... That was okay I guess but my boyfriend lives 2 hours away from there and I only see him on the weekends. I didn't want him to wait longer for them if he didn't have to so we asked them to ship them to his house. No problem they say. 10 days or so go past and no glasses, so we call and they are in the store waiting to be picked up. Never mind that they didn't send them but that they wouldn't even call you to tell you that your glasses have arrived. At that point I'm going to be seeing my boyfriend soon so I went to go pick them up. I opened them up to make sure they were correct to spot a couple big scratches on the frame. Seeing as how I just spent a little over 500 dollars on these I didn't think that was acceptable. They apologized in a rude manor and told me to keep those ones for now and that they would order new frames. Okay cool, I asked them to send them to the one in the mall of New Hampshire in Manchester because that's the closet one to him. I asked them to call him when they arrived. Sure thing. Weeks past no phone call. He calls and asks if his frames are in, the lady in Newington said that they were in Manchester. So that weekend we go to the store and Manchester and guess what no frames or any knowledge of any frames. After about 2 almost 3 hours they decided that they were sent to the other Manchester store but that they were sold.... Not buying it. We still had to drive an hour to this store so its not like we could just come back with out any inconvenience. So what they decided to do after a lot of trouble on our end and no help or care from there end was that they would order new frames, we would give them the current pair so that they could size them based off of those and they would send the new ones to his house. Which brings me to today (August 31st) he got his glasses in the mail today and guess what! There scratched in the same exact spot! So after over a month of dealing with these people were in the same exact spot. We will be returning them and getting our money back because they do not deserve our business now or ever.
