Standard pizza oven except has a see-through window, but I'm sure it helps the guys.

Joe's pizza is good, but I'm spoiled by my home wood fired pizza oven. The Palms location has ample parking snd limited seating out front. The guys working there are cool and hard working. They offer a large variety of pizza by the slice. I just think the similar take away NY pizza place in Palms (Coop) is better. I do like they have a fresh mozzarella cheese for a Margherita, I most don't think the sprinkled seasoning adds anything. The crust is thin but has a little too much oil for my taste. It's a nice place, but it just didn't meet my expectations which may have been tonight.

Loooove that this place has come to the Palms/Culver City area! We have done delivery w them and love their pizza. But today we stopped in for a Calzone and WOW was it ever perfect! We went w Pepperoni... great size and shareable....not greasy, light crisp crust, quality ingredients. Will absolutely get it again. The guy that works there is so kind too.

This place is amazing I only had 8 dollars and I wanted 2 pizza and the worker offered to give me 2 dollars from his own pocket. The pizza is also amazing. The wait is really short and I definitely recommend this to pizza lovers. If I can give 10 stars I would.

3.5*s A slice shop that's quick, easy, and is open relatively late for the area. The pizza isn't anything special, but it's reasonably priced and is good enough for the convenience. The slices have solid integrity and doesn't flop, but is still able to fold. Limited seating space, but there is a small table for outdoor seating.

The worst pizza ever!! I ordered on DoorDash for my kids. Look what I get -- burned charcoal!

I ordered on DoorDash . This is what I get. A burned piece of char coal. This is the worst pizza I have ever had! Toxic

Omg! Love Joe's! Just like NY! We had white pizza and pepperoni and sausage. Pizza was piping hot and delicious. We also had garlic knots that were outstanding. Service was super friendly. We sat outside on the mini patio in front. There's not much ambiance inside but who came for that??? We love Joe's!!!

Really good quality pizza at a very fair price for 2026. Don't have much to say, not really a good place to eat at because there's only a few small tables outside adjacent to a parking lot. But the pizza was good and that's all that really matters.

Very reasonably priced, friendly and fast service, and it was nice they had slices available, especially at dinner. Ambiance is a bit ordinary but does the job, the main reason for the lack of being impressed is that, well, the pizza was not impressive. There are many, many excellent pizza places popping up the past few years-- the expansion of Joe's Pizza among them-- and the pizza here was not very memorable.

This pizza is the real deal! Even better than the 3 locations we have been in New York! So fresh! The crust was amazing! Staff was so friendly and patient as we decided what we wanted! Ate the 2 slices fresh there and took a cheese pie home! Absolutely delicious and so glad to have this new spot close to home! Locals please check this gem out! See you guys soon!

Pizza by the slice or whole pie, New York style! Thin crust, greasy goodness of pizza heaven. Friendly service on their first day opening with a free slice of pizza, cheese or pepperoni. Not much seating inside but a table or two outside. Small parking lot available in front.

Crispy cheese slice!! Definitely mimics NY pizza. It wasn't fresh out of the oven so it wasn't sting cheese pull but it was yummy. Service was quick and friendly. Cute seating outside !

My specialty pizza slice was stacked high with toppings, sauce tasted fresh & fantastic!

I took my daughter here based on some of the reviews and I must say we were not disappointed. Pizza by the slice is just what we were looking for but didn't know it. We walked in and were instantly greeted with big smiles which I really appreciate as well as a nice looking assortment of options in the case. We opted also added some garlic knots(nice and garlicky). Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back, we both highly recommend you stop in and try this place! Thank you staff for great service and food, look forward to seeing you again.

Kate and some cheese slices! With a complementary soda!

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part.
