This is the crap they served me

So this place fooled me into thinking it was a spaghetti place called Spaghetti Empire. I ordered the spaghetti with a chance of meatballs .... Worst spaghetti ever! I went to Yelp to share my experience after giving it a poor rating on door dash because I wanted to share my picture of this rotten food. When researching the place I ordered from "Spaghetti Empire" I found out that it's actually a Leo's Coney Island that has a few "virtual restaurants"? It runs out of there. I'm pretty sure what they do is sell their bad food under these other names and charge top dollar for it. I did not finish this disgusting food and the people running this scam need to be arrested. I'm fairly sure the meat I had was rancid and has made me ill. Shame on you!

My husband and I visited Leo's to have breakfast this morning. The food was subpar I know for a neighborhood Diner the food is not always perfect, But it at least tastes great. My steak was overcooked my hashbrowns was undercooked the coffee was water down the omelette which was to be a Western omelette Barely had any meat my husband's breakfast which was a club sandwich and chili cheese fries the only thing that he liked was the chili cheese fries the club sandwich toast was extremely hard. Those knives and forks the cups were dirty. For this new management under Leo's after taking over Ram Horn. Not a good experience and for it to be right across the street from an apartment community and a hospital you would think it would be a bit more active on a Friday morning but now we understand why.

Worst Leo's we ever tried! Terrible service and food! All the other Leo's in the area are light years better! Don't waste your time.

And it was excellent. My husband ordered the classic waffle with the chicken wings and the I had tried to order the salmon and grits but they were out of the salmon so I ordered the Toast Plate which was eggs, side of meat, and toast. And I still ordered some grits as a side. We love soul food so my husband had to order sides of the Mac n Cheese and the Greens. All the food was amazing.

Being that it was snowing, I was tired and had a million other things to do, I decided to stop in and have breakfast here on the fly. Walking in, the place is large, but the tables and chairs are sparse. Not much to see here, but they seem to be holding it together. I was seated immediately and my server was attentive and nice. She snagged me a menu and they have a good selection of food to choose from. I ventured off from my usual eggs and hash browns for once and tried their breakfast sandwich. From experience, not all breakfast sandwiches are created equal! I was skeptical from being disappointed in the past. I also ordered a side of hash browns because I wanted to see what they were like. I got the sandwich on Texas toast and let me tell you, it was fabulous! It was egg and cheese only and so good. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the hash browns were as well. They were cubed style, with some onions and spice to it. I topped it off with a dash of hot sauce and boom, there ya go folks, good stuff it is! My bill was about $8 give or take, I can't remember the exact amount. Overall, a good meal for a decent price. While the place isn't super fancy on the inside, it really made a good impression on me!

I wanted to go some place I haven't been before and this place popped up not to far from where I'm staying. Walking in, the place is clean with plenty of seating. I was greeted immediately and told to sit anywhere I liked. Fortunately, there wasn't a wait since it was still super early. Reviewing the menu, they have a great selection of breakfast and brunch items to choose from. I read online that they have chicken and waffles, but when I asked the waitress where it was at on the menu, she said it's not listed there and is an "off menu" item that could be prepared for me. After thinking about it, I decided that I was going to get an omlet instead. I got the greek omelet instead and let me tell you, the portions are huge! Food was absolutely delicious and I ate as much as I could. Service was fantastic and I didn't feel pressured to order anything that I wasn't comfortable with. Water and coffee were always full and my bill came in a timely manner. I will be returning when I'm on this side of town for a good solid breakfast. This place should be an example of how to do things correctly without over correcting or trying to hard. I love it here!

Oak Diner - Royal Oak (Campbell Rd) Walking into Oak Diner…read morebrought back so many great memories. I used to live nearby about 25 years ago and remember coming to a diner in this area for breakfast back then. Fast forward to today--this isn't the same place, but wow, it's absolutely amazing. Right away I loved the vibe. The chalkboards with handwritten menu items and daily specials on the walls give the place so much character and charm. It feels welcoming, classic, and cool all at the same time. The customer service was excellent from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I ordered the country breakfast, which came with biscuits and gravy, eggs, toast, potatoes, and sausage--everything was spot on. I'm usually not a big hash browns person, so I really appreciated that they offer an alternative to the shredded style. I went with the cubed breakfast potatoes (not sure what they officially call them), and they were so much better--crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Between the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere, this place completely won me over. I already know I'll be back next weekend. Oak Diner has a really, really good vibe, and I'm glad I rediscovered breakfast here. Highly recommend.

I finally got to try Toast in Ferndale for brunch!…read more The parking situation is a small lot behind the back and finding a spot on a weekend morning wasn't easy! We didn't have reservations so we did have to wait a while for a table. But, Toast made it manageable with an outdoor waiting area where you can order drinks from the bar. By the way, the outdoor area is not fully insulated, just sectioned off with clear tarp, so it can still feel a little chilly. However, it was nice having somewhere sit and mingle instead of just standing around by the door. Now to the good part: My table ordered the trashy hashy, toast egg sammy, and a muddled strawberry vanilla iced matcha. I started off with the iced matcha and ended with the egg sammy with a side of parmesan grits. The matcha was a little watery but good. The sandwich was super flavorful but very messy. I had to ask for extra napkins after but the mess was totally worth the flavor! I can't wait to come back! I'll be prepared with reservations next time!

She responded that she already had, but I pointed out that there were still crumbs there. She seemed irritated, so I even offered to wipe it myself if she gave me the towel. She then asked me to show her where the crumbs were and wiped them off. Unfortunately, her attitude throughout the interaction was very rude and unprofessional. My sister then asked to speak with a manager. When the manager came over, the other ladies in our group also mentioned the waitress's attitude. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, the general manager became defensive and stated that the waitress did not have a nasty attitude. He then told us that if we wanted to leave, we could leave because he was not going to be bothered with us. He took our menus and asked us to leave simply because we requested that the table be cleaned properly. I would love to see better service and customers treated with respect! Ms Cheryl W.

It's light and airy and it smells of soap -- not nasty disinfectant, but just pure, clean soap. And it smells of nicely cooked food as well, of course. The waitstaff was very friendly and welcoming, which is always nice. I ordered the senior fish & chips and the server, Jennifer, asked me if I was old enough. I offered to show her my I.D. & she said she believed me, but that I didn't look it. Needless to say, that made me feel good. (Although, not to toot my own horn, but I don't look my age.) The fish was two big, thick pieces. I actually only finished about 3/4 of one piece! It came with fries that were fine but nothing special, and I got cole slaw instead of soup. That was good as well. But, it was also served with canned green beans. Just...no. My sister got a turkey club sandwich which also came with soup or cole slaw. She enjoyed that as well. And I loved that the iced tea was served in mason jars. Such a homey little touch! The prices were very reasonable as well. In fact, I think they were less than those of a fast food place we stopped at later in the day for a carry out! Definitely worth a stop -- nothing fancy, but it's good, solid food.

Ordered veggie skillet, bagel with cream cheese instead of toast, Greek salad, feta on the side and turkey Reuben with onion ring side. $42.75 Food was out almost an hour after we arrived, must be patient for your food to come out. Their cinnamon bread for their French toast comes from MO, why not get it here locally? The first coffee mug had some black stuff on the rim. The onion ring batter looks like, but it's quite heavy and soggy. The rings also smell and taste like fish. Must use the same oil as their fried fish? Not pleasant. I think the batter for the onion rings could be the same used for their fried fish. Their turkey Reuben is so-so, it's sliced deli meat. The cheese seems like cheese sauce. Nothing special. The bread is at least nicely toasted. The Russia dressing is tasteless. The Greek is old work out iceberg lettuce. The onions are big and not good for this salad. Dressing is thick and bland. The pepperoncini don't taste so good.
