I needed work done rewiring outlets in the garage and on the outside of the house. The service person -- Hugo -- was the best. I thought he gave me sound advice on whether to do the rewiring and how it could be done, and did the job very neatly. Other contractors don't seem to care much whether things going on the outside wall are straight or not but Hugo made sure the conduit lined up nice and level. We set an appointment with them for a troubleshooting and to restore power and technicians that came out were great they told me what happened and what needed to be done. He said he would let his estimator know about sending me a quote for new main wire and rewiring a few outlets and switches. After not hearing back from the estimator I try reaching out through calls and emails because the technicians said they only did a temporary fix for the moment but that it needed new wire I didn't get a response until 2 months later Nic the estimator said that I was frustrating him just for trying to get a quote I was told I would get to get the job done, he said he would send me the quote that day that I spoke to him but after not receiving anything a few days I sent him an email and he just responded with "Leone Electric is no longer interested in doing any future rewires at this time. " Their technicians there good they just need to change their estimator. I don't see how I was frustrating him because I wasn't even calling every day. read more

I recently bought a home in Lakewood that was not grounded and Nic helped me get this work scheduled in a timely manner. I had a couple crews working on my home over the course of 3 days, and overall, I am very pleased with the work they did. I had one small communication issue with a crew about some holes in the walls that were left exposed before I could schedule a dry wall contractor to patch them, but Nic was quick to address this issue and even offered some free follow up work that I requested. A lot of businesses blow clients off when minor mistakes occur, but these guys are true professionals and absolutely delivered on their promise. One crew even discovered that my bathroom was wired incorrectly by the former owner (which could have led to us getting electrocuted) and rewired it correctly. EXCELLENT customer service and I am very happy with the quality of work executed. The owner of this company, Vince Leone, yelled at me in front of my husband and his worker. He was so rude I was in tears! I hired them in February to do electrical work which included fixing a pool light. It all appeared fine until months later I had problems with my pool and had two companies come out to bid on the job at which time both companies told the pool light was not to code. The deck box should not be in the deck. I called Leone electric and told them, they sent out a guy to check. I asked the guy to have his boss call me. A week and a half later still no call. I called and asked for the owner, Vince. My husband and I explained the work that was done and the situation and right away Vince basically called us liars! He said "No one cut your deck open" We said yes they did. My husband did the cement work after they were done because they said they don't do that. Vince came to my house looked at the work and agreed the work was not done to code. At which point, he said we would need to buy another light ($188). He sent out his crew, again, who were at my property for over five hours. I work out of home and all this drilling and commotion is a big inconvenience for me. They had to cut the deck open, again, move the deck box to the wall and install the new light which was a big hassle. At the end, my husband ended up installing the light himself! At one point, I came out to the back to check progress and found my husband in the pool with one of the workers, both trying to install the light. I said to my husband "Why are you in the pool? We paid them to do this." OMG!! next thing I know Vince is yelling at me "YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING! RIGHT? and repeated this several times and yelled at me how he has had his workers at my property for over five hours and then he yelled "DON'T EVEN START WITH ME!" it felt like a threat, this is all while my husband is in the pool watching him yell at me! I told him "this is what we paid you for!" He yelled and said the pool light was not his problem! I went in the house and was so upset I was in tears! Who the hell does this guy think he is talking to a customer that way or anybody for that matter. If this is how he talks to a paying customer, I can only imagine how he must treat his employees and/or wife! I am neither! He acted as if he were doing me a favor by having his workers at my house for over five hours. Never mind the inconvenience to us and the fact I had to keep my dogs in the house and/or the dog run all that time and that I had the background noise of drilling while on the phone tying to conduct business. I understand mistakes happen. What I don't accept or understand is the poor/abusive customer service by the OWNER! Maybe working with Eddie Kesky and getting that business got to his head! It comes down to his company taking on a job they were not qualified for. I asked for an estimate to fix the light. among other stuff, they gave it to me. I said okay. Do it. The estimate should of included a new light, and moving the deck box to the wall. The light was fixed but not to code because his workers and his manager, apparently, didn't know any better. What he should of said is in order to fix the light the deck box needs to be brought to code or he could of said we don't work on pool lights! I originally used HomeAdvisor to fix what I thought was a breaker that needed to be replaced. An electrician (from another company) came out and told me I need to upgrade my old breaker box for $3,200. I then decided to contact Leone Electric and they were able to squeeze me into their schedule the next day. I can't say enough about John. He talked me thru everything he was doing and showed me that my breakers were fine. It turns out it was a transformer in my AC unit. I asked if he could help me replace a switch in my ceiling fan and was happy to help. He found out my switch was bad and went back to the shop to get a new one. I cannot thank Leone Electric enough. I was in a desperate situation regarding a partial electrical outage I was having with a older rental property I own. The electrical issue, besides being an inconvenience for very good tenants, became a dangerous situation when it impacted the gas line and created a leak. I called Leone over the weekend and got in contact with Vince Leone at his emergency number. He told me to call first thing Monday morning and they would get someone out even though he knew they were booked. I called, they were booked, but they got a team out to my place by 9 a.m. They were done by 10:30. They totally inspected the location, identified the problem, explained it to me, and said, " Yes, this was a dangerous situation". I received a very professional looking flyer from this company. Needing electrical work, I called them. They came out the next day to assess the work. The gentleman was extremely professional. He looked a the work I needed and promised to provide an estimate in a few days. He did not use the usual scare tactics of other vendors. He just assessed what I needed. They called as promised with very reasonable estimates. When I called to schedule the work, I was given an appointment the next day at 7:30 AM. At 7:30 AM the next day, two gentlemen showed up. They were completed with the work in 3 hours with no extra charges, no mess, but were courteous, neat, and efficient. Having dealt with other contractors and constant disappointments, it was a delight to do business with an honest company that does what they say they are going to do. I made an appointment to have canned lighting installed on July 1 @ 7:30. The two electricians, Al and Josue, showed up on time and got right to work. They consulted me with regard to the location of the lights before installation. I had lights installed in three rooms, one with a cathedral ceiling. They were professional and EFFICIENT.
