Hadn't been here for a while and wasn't disappointed. Fast friendly service, delicious breakfast. Had the $5.99 special; with coffee, tax and tip, $11. Not much more than McDonald's, with much more food and a superior experience. Great place.

No idea why this place has a lower than most rating. I had a good time here! The seating was spaced out between tables, with barriers between tables. Service was fast, and very welcoming! Food came out quick, was what I expected and tasted great, and it was all very affordable! Great time!

Coney's are a staple in this town, and I swear if you've eaten at one, you've eaten at them all. I've been here more than a few times over the years, but it's not really my go-to location. It's located at a really busy intersection, but parking is easy along with getting in and out. I usually come here to either meet up with a friend, or lately, have breakfast. Menu is good along with the prices, and it is a okay. In the summer, this place is toasty, and in the winter it's cold. Why? I don't know. I mean, it's not that they don't have heat or AC, it just seems to not be well controlled with the way the place is set up. Staff is good, and food is consistent. Will return in the future because it's there.

Great coney island with a huge menu, including many greek items. The spinach pie was a good sized portion and just as good as most that I have had. The place gets really busy at lunch, and it's for a reason. Food is reasonalbe, fast and good. There are not many lunch places in this area, and at a reasonable price. Will definitely be coming back.

Always a favorite! I work down the street so Leo's is always a go-to for a quick lunch. This is my favorite meal to get - a grilled chicken greek salad (chopped of course) and a side of grilled whole wheat pita. Their fries are good, they have some of the best ranch dressing in the metro-Detroit area and their lemon rice soup is always the best starter!

I enjoyed eating at this Leo's because the waitress was so engaged.  She took notice of everyone in the party.  She took our orders with kindness and politeness.  One of the plates was a little late in coming out and she informed us immediately and commiserated.  She had a unique conversational skill that was interesting and reassuring. The food was very well made.  I had a mini-Greek salad.  The dressing was not what I was used to.  It was light and flavorful.  The vegetables in the salad were all fresh and crisp.  Following this I enjoyed a Gyro.  It was really good.  Plenty of cucumber sauce and just the right amount of meat and vegetables.  The onions were perfect - not too biting and not too mild.  It was an enjoyable experience. The woman at the checkout counter was bright and positive as well.

    Super Chili with onions!

I was a little disappointed initially to be seated at the short bar as it makes me feel like I'm in elementary school due to the height, but this was a busy Saturday morning so I understood as it seems there are limited 2-tops, etc and this visit was at peak hours. It was nice to see the daylight coming through the windows which also made this a relaxing venue. While I was sitting there I was able to observe a lot as the short bar is next to the case displaying many delicious treats. I really laughed to myself as I noticed a couple of future Yelper's (one was 2-year toddler and his probably 4-5 year old sister (possibly celebrating a birthday) make a prompt trip to checkout the dessert offerings first! They were obviously "regulars". I was greeted by one of the wait staff, Mya, who was friendly, served me a coffee and indicated my server would be with me soon. I appreciated seeing the teamwork among the staff. I was eventually served by Owen who was helpful and I ordered an egg white frittata which came with a side of mixed fresh fruit. While I was waiting on my food, I had a vantage point where I could see several entrees come out. I also witnessed one of the two Chefs smiling as he was looking at and preparing the orders which I found interesting. The frittata included spinach, tomatoes, goat cheese, apple chicken sausage, and was delicious. I was still a little hungry, so I realized the future Yelpers mentioned earlier had it right, and I ordered a carrot cake cupcake which Owen mentioned was a good choice. The frosting was delicious and the moist carrot cake was tasty as well. The overall restaurant was hustling and bustling on this morning, I had my coffee cup refilled multiple times and even noticed additional children observing the case with the desserts. I enjoyed the overall experience and did not feel rushed at all, but more like a customer!

I used to live nearby about 25 years ago and remember coming to a diner in this area for breakfast back then. Fast forward to today--this isn't the same place, but wow, it's absolutely amazing. Right away I loved the vibe. The chalkboards with handwritten menu items and daily specials on the walls give the place so much character and charm. It feels welcoming, classic, and cool all at the same time. The customer service was excellent from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I ordered the country breakfast, which came with biscuits and gravy, eggs, toast, potatoes, and sausage--everything was spot on. I'm usually not a big hash browns person, so I really appreciated that they offer an alternative to the shredded style. I went with the cubed breakfast potatoes (not sure what they officially call them), and they were so much better--crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Between the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere, this place completely won me over. I already know I'll be back next weekend. Oak Diner has a really, really good vibe, and I'm glad I rediscovered breakfast here. Highly recommend.

I tend to eat out quite a bit, so one day I jumped on Google and searched for diners near me. Sunrise Café popped up with tons of great reviews, and many people mentioned how attentive the owner is and how great the food is. After finally stopping in, I can say those reviews were absolutely right. The food here is fantastic. I ordered the Big Sunrise, which comes with three eggs (I got mine over medium), a big slice of ham, two pieces of bacon, and two sausage patties. For my sides I went with white toast and grits. I have to say, grits are definitely an acquired taste, but lately I've been loving them and these were really good. The waitress was also spot on--super attentive and friendly. Overall the service was excellent and the food was even better. My only small "complaint," and it's really no fault of theirs, is that inside the restaurant my cell phone had almost no signal. It was basically a dead zone, so I had to actually sit there and live in the moment instead of scrolling the internet on my phone. Kind of funny because the second I walked outside to my car, I had a full signal again. Not sure what's going on there, but honestly it just gave me more time to enjoy the food.
