Absolutely TERRIBLE. It smells like sewer. They opened at 1 we get here about an hour later with nearly an empty restaurant and still had to wait an hour for food. We were told they were out of broccoli and greens after just an hour of opening. Me and another person got yams. My yams were fresh and brightly colored. The other persons looked old and darker. Our waitress never checked on us in between meal times. Had to ask 3 times for water. We complained about the yams and was told "okay" and our waitress rudely walked off and that was that. No sorry, can we substitute , anything. Unprofessional service and inconsistency in food. And gratuity is included even with terrible service. Have been waiting for bill for about 30 minutes now. We reserved a table inside. First off this is on the south west side of greenfield, not facing greenfield, the backside of the greenfield facing shops. Nicely designed and decorated inside. Nice cozy touch with the screen fireplace. Crystal chandeliers and sconces too. Cool looking metal ceiling. Curtain divider between guests along the perimeter. They have enclosed tents set up outside on their back patio. Josh is waiting on us today. He's nice enough. We ordered the fattoush salad side, blackened salmon with veggies, all side substitutes are $2 charge for sautéed mushrooms and a Moroccan salmon with $2 substitute charge for mushrooms instead of rice. $4 in substitution charges tonight. The fattoush salad isn't bad, mix of ice berg and romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and red onions. Fattoush dressing is good, some sumac would be even better. The blackened salmon is pretty good, although there was a couple of bones in the fillet still. The seasoning is good. The Moroccan salmon is good. The salmons were both cooked nicely. The veggies are good as well. The food was okay. Service was eh. Annoyed they charge $2 for substitutes and minimum gratuity of 20%, included in the bill as well. The menu says $2 for the custom side, but they charged us $3 each. The menu states they charge 20% gratuity for parties of 5 or more. I was incensed at all of these forced costs. Another waitress (she brought our bill, fixed her bill and cashed usexplained they are charging 20% gratuity on all bills, no matter the party size. She did clarify that we should have only been charged $2 per substitute. The bill left me really bothered at how this place runs things here, need more transparency for sure. Took way to long to pay once our bill was straightened out. Josh was MIA after he checked up on our food once, never saw him again. Check your charges from this place. I had paid $77.38 and someone here decided to give themselves and additional $14.60, hoping I would not notice. Poorly done. This place nickels and dimes you for every condiment and every modification and then they think it's cool to add a nearly 20% tip to my charged bill that wasn't authorized by me at all. Argh. Place already left a bad taste in my mouth after the meal oner a month ago and now I realize they have someone doing scamming activities like this. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

Great service with lots of free parking. Prices are very fair for what you get. My favorite items include the ribs and the gourmet burger (a steal at only $11 at a steakhouse). The seasoned fries are yummy too as well as the brisket flatbread (ask fro them to cut it for you before hand). They have many tasty dipping sauces to choose from; my favs include the ranch and southwest sauces. They also hook it up with a free delicious bread with a garlic non-dairy spread. read more

This place gets better every time I go, and they've now got live music nights on the patio. And a liquor license. Tips from a regular: 1) make a reservation if you can. 2) Try the fried pickles, or cauliflower, you won't regret it. Also try the dirty fries... I had the Deli Burger. For a kosher upscale meal this simply could not be beat! The service was great the ambiance was beautiful but the burger cooked medium was just heavenly. No exaggeration it was the best burger I have ever had! 8 oz of perfection with pastrami and slaw with thousand island, wow! I will be back. The menu is HUGE and varied so I won't get bored either. Almost $500.00 bill and we were told to leave after 1.5 hours for a steakhouse dinner? Are you kidding me -- My family had an 8pm reservation (that was all that was available we were told). At 9:30, the server flings open the door, and tells us "I hate to say but we are closed!" What is this place, a bar? We were rushed since sitting down, being told the kitchen stops taking order at 8:30. Then they shouldn't have set our rez for 8pm. Also the door to their outdoor greenhouse kept being left open by the server which I closed each time, causing the temp to drop below 60 degrees. However, the marocco salmon was excellent, but nowhere near the service quality expected of a steakhouse. I think we'll stick with Andiamo's. read more

If you're in Detroit and in need of some good kosher food Prime 10 is your best option and must admit that my steak was spot on perfect! With a great char on the outside and a beautiful medium rare on the inside as requested! However the other aspects need a lot of improvement, first of all the chairs!!! Fabric chairs need to be cleaned and collect much easier dirt then other chairs! (Seriously! If I would of been in New York I would've walked out of the place just from seeing the chairs!) Next is the staff, while our waitress was very nice freindly etc. She was only a week or so in her jobs and had very little knowledge in the menu and most of the items on the menus lacked the umph of flavor that you get in a steak house.... The mushroom barley soup was tasty as were the broccoli florets and mushrooms; however, the main course ie the steak was a disappointment. While the flavoring was up to my standards the meat itself fell flat. It was gristly and chewy. For $75 and considering I have been to many kosher steakhouses, it was a bit pricey. I'm happy I didn't venture on the $115 tomohawk. I will save my money on steaks for my nyc trips where I can find good value. On to the service, I could have done better at a fast food restaurant. While the waitress was ready to go, she had little acumen for how to present a daunting menu to a family of five. It was basically a self guided tour. This is the perfect place for date night or solo time!! It's a true honeycomb hideout (meaning if you haven't seen it online or heard about it you may drive by it without noticing.) I took my husband here for Kings Day (a day a dedicate to doing anything for him that he wants) and he was blown away! The food was delicious, the ambiance was absolutely beautiful! The inside has dim lighting and nice luxurious chairs, some of the larger tables have private partitions, and the tables have candles lit. The food tasting good was a triple bonus! Try it! read more

Deplorable to wait 48 minutes for an appetizer & 50 minutes for a cucumber at a cost of $2.00. It then took over 50 min to get the main course served with my fish taco appetizer. They really cannot get their act together ever with serving dishes timely. It makes no sense as to why the service has to be beyond deplorable & we have to wait every time over 40 minutes - 1 hour for horrible food. Even when friends took out for my birthday last night, the Chinese food was not even edible - sour & tasted like it was drenched in vinegar and the waitress could care less. I never went to a restaurant in my life that had such slow service & food that was truly not even edible. Normally we like the food here. But today (Sunday) we had a terrible experience having nothing to do with the food we were served. We received an email ad this morning saying "This Week's Special" is the Slider Sampler. Sounded great - Cowboy burger, Brisket burger and Deli burger. I said to my wife, let's go tonight. We did, and when we got there we were told, "we don't have that today." Wait, what? "Why not? I got the email this morning! It says it starts this week." I open the email, take a look, show it to the waitress - not a word about "starts Monday" or Monday-Friday. Just, "This Week's Special." I'm told that the manager said, "we have no patties made." No "sorry, we meant Monday," or "Sorry you were disappointed." Nothing. So we left and went to Kravings. Not planning to go back to Prime 10 for quite some time. Not sorry either. This restaurant has a limited captive audience as one of the few kosher restaurants in the area. But for the lack of Kosher choice, this restaurant would not be around I suspect. The food is overpriced ($15.00 for a Caesar salad without protein, for example), charging for hot water refills ($6.00 for two teas), mediocre food and service. I've tried this restaurant on 4 separate occasions and the only consistency has been the excess prices, mediocre food and lackluster service. read more

I have worked in a number of different food service jobs from serving to managing so I understand that due to extenuating circumstances things can sometimes not run so smoothly. I want to first tell you that the food was really good. But the service at Prime 10 was absolutely terrible. Our waiter was very unpleasant and did not take the time to come by our table and ask how our food was. To really start, he brings up the menu and then two minutes he comes back and ask if we were ready. We wanted another minute or two. The waiter didn't come back for another twenty minutes. After we got our food, which took about thirty minutes, nobody came by to see if we wanted more water, if we liked the food, or if we wanted more rolls. After we were done eating, the man came by with one machine to pay and he abruptly left. My family member had a discount card and the waiter didn't show up for fifteen minutes. We had to pull someone else to take care of our bill. My uncle was furious and told the owners that "We are never coming back, you need to learn how to train your employees and to make sure they show some kindness towards their customer". Think about who you are hiring and train them to be People Person. We were just ashamed on a restaurant that runs by Jewish Orthodox people can't get their act straight. read more

When dining at one of metro Detroit's very few kosher dining establishments, I have learned from long experience to keep my expectations low. It was therefore a very pleasant surprise to find a kosher restaurant that offers a wide selection of tasty food, at reasonable prices (realizing that following the dietary laws always entails paying a premium), with service that was very friendly, attentive and efficient. I ordered a ground lamb special, which I recommend if you are there on a day it is offered. It was juicy and flavorful, without breaking the bank. Others in our party got the salmon (very nice), and a chicken dish. Previous incarnations of this restaurant (the kosher ones, starting with Sara's Deli), have disappointed. Prime 10's owners have gone for a makeover - of the decor (much, much nicer), the menu (quality as well as variety of offerings), and the attitude of servers (ours was wonderful - most accommodating). That said, the decor of the restaurant is probably more appropriate for a banquet hall. The food is actually very good. We've had several dishes there. The half pound burger. Steak tips (juicy and tender). Seasoned fries. Pita bread (warm and delicious, with good garlic butter). The food i$ very expen$ive and you $hould ju$t get ready for that. $17 plus tax for a burger and fries later and $14 for the same earlier. $10 for a pecan tart. In a business where customer satisfaction is everything they fail to meet even the most minimal qualifications.
