Leo's was a huge disappointment. The lettuce was rotten, the floors and restrooms were filthy, and the soup was served cold. The server was clearly embarrassed by the experience and actually covered our bill herself, which says a lot. We left her a $20 tip because none of this was her fault. Unfortunately, the food and cleanliness were so bad that we won't be back. There are too many better options to give this place another chance. read more

I ordered one of the specials on the chalk board. A hot turkey sandwich. They fried the turkey meat so it was brown and crispy, toasted the bread ( bottom piece was burnt side down), worse sandwich I ever had. The mashed potatoes were a firm pile of starch that was hard to even get a forkful. Been there 30-40 times over the years and never had an experience like that. read more

Got the chicken finger pita and it is great! Leo's is such a staple in my household. This location is very clean and well kept. The only downside is it being cold in the winter as the location is a bit smaller so getting hit with the cold air from the door was a con. Despite this, service was great and quick and our server was very friendly and attentive. read more

Ordered waffle fries. They were burnt and inedible. Someone didn't change the oil for a week. It was that bad. My wife ordered a chicken pita, and the chicken tasted like it had been in old oil. She had to throw it in the trash I also had to throw my waffle fries in the trash. What a waste of money I'll never go to order from this restaurant again and I recommend that you don't order as well. This place is awful. I'm attaching a picture of the crap that I got. I should've paid attention to the reviews. Two orders of Avagolemono soup which was not as good as homemade, but it was pretty standard for a restaurant. Grilled chicken pita chicken was a little dry.-overcooked. But really what took me off was I clearly asked for an extra thousand hour dressing for the chef salad and instead they gave me half of a dressing -it's a little things that make you either want to go back to a restaurant or not. Restaurant wasn't real busy. It had a few tables but really, there's no excuse for dried out chicken and half of a dressing. read more

I ordered online the shrimp basket and lemon rice soup at work.The shrimp were the tiny salad shrimp dipped in a batter that was just short of being burnt. They were hard and tasted of bad oil. The fries that came with it were tough. How do you get tough fries? The meal seemed like it had been ordered and not picked up and re-perpared. I can always count on the lemon rice soup. Leo's offers good food, prepared well, and good, friendly service with very reasonable prices! So far, we have found breakfast items are good - sausages are excellent, sausage gravy- yum, egss cooked just right. The Greek salad is wonderful, the pita and hummus have great flavor, and the lemon rice soup is another stand-out. I guess we are going through the menu! The servers make you feel at home! We ordered door dash from here at 4:50am...1st mistake I guess. They sent no silverware no condiments for the breakfast food we ordered. We had gotten a Coney Island the chili tasted like it had been out to long one fork of that it went in the trash. I see a lot of people complaining in here , (and truthfully it is not what I would call fine dining) but when it is 1AM and you are starving, it is pretty great to have a clean easy option to get a hot meal. On the way home from a late night wedding yesterday and my boyfriend and I were relieved to discover this Leo's was still open. I got the fish and chips and my boyfriend got the crispy chicken sandwich. It was exactly what we expected, the staff was very nice and the order was correct. Thank you Leo's !! read more

This place is our favorite of all the Leo's. The place is always clean (as most of them are). The bathrooms are spotless. The staff is friendly-and the service is quick. (If I had one comment - they bring the main course too quick after the salad). My wife loves the egg plant, I usually get the chicken kabob. My daughter has yet to not finish her plate- which is a rarity. I did have one issue with a take out. I called, they took my name and number and when I went in 2 weeks later, they made it right. For a nice, quick, inexpensive sit down meal- it's great. read more

For a coney, this is probably one of the better one's I've been to. It's very new to the area, so that's part of the draw for me. I wasn't sure of what another coney would do for the area, but since they've opened, I have to say, I'm impressed. The place is quite spacious when you come in, considering it doesn't appear that way from the road. Clean, new fixtures, plenty of seating amongst other things. I've eaten here both for lunch and breakfast, both of which were good. Last time I was here, I went with a greek omlette, which was delicious! Some of the other dishes I've tried here are the eggs, Gyro dinner and a few others that don't come to mind immediately. The menu is pretty much the same here, so don't expect to much difference there. Daily specials are posted at the front, and it's been seat yourself when I've been here. Service is consistant and steady, with experienced waitresses who know what their doing. I will gladly return in the future for more, as this is one of the nicer locations (relatively speaking in regards to coneys.) read more

I am posting this because I was so impressed with how sanitary this restaurant was. The condiments were all individually given to us including the hot sauce. All of the staff were wearing masks properly. They were very friendly and the seating was spaced out inside the restaurant. Even the coffee refills were given in a new coffee mug. There was an automatic hand sanitizer in the lobby when you walk in. Our waitress' name was Rebecca and she is such a friendly waitress. I would highly recommend this Coney Island. I've been to a handful of coneys throughout the COVID pandemic and have not returned to some due to improper mask wearing, bottles that are kept on the tables and no paper menus. Kudos to this Leo's! This place is having a hard time. We've been going here for many years but lately they are in a decline. There is a constant help wanted sign in the window. It was busy for a change on a Saturday evening. We ordered the #1 Coney combo with a salad and a baby Greek salad. They were great. I ordered a Diet Coke and got a cherry coke. When our server brought our coney dogs they were awful. The buns looked and tasted old. The dog was definitely old with a hard wrinkled skin. Coney sauce was fine but very few onions in place of what we used to get. I hope this place makes it but I think we'll pass trying them again. read more

First time here, always drove past it early mornings as I am usually in a hurry. Today took some extra time in the morning to stop by and try the $3.99 breakfast special (6am to 10am M-F only). Very clean, brightly lit place, spacious and very friendly staff. My breakfast order was scrambled eggs, sausage links (4), rye bread and hash browns. It came very quickly, fresh and hot. Nice view of Livernois Rd, the Rochester High School opposite it, and is next to longish shopping strip (includes a good size Krogers). When ordering a carry out, they will not give you your entire order. They do this purposely to save on food and rob the customer. 2nd time it's happened to me, the 1st time I thought it was a mistake. One week later, they got me for a 2nd time. I also Doordash, they purposely don't give the beverage with the meal even though it's included and the customer specified which pop they would like. read more

Ok..it's a Leo's and the food is typical Leo's. What makes this one special is the amazing staff. My 84 year old father insists on having breakfast here virtually every day...and I usually join him on Sunday s. All of the wait staff..especially Tammy treat him like a king and usually bring whatever he needs without hm needing to ask. They also very graciously tolerate his frequent "grumpy" days with a smile. It seems that there are lots of regulars here, so guessing we aren't alone! read more

Good breakfast. Hours are becoming 24 hour for weekend nights. Tammy, our waitress was so on top of things, my Dad was interested to date her, (she's not available). Old times pics, hang inside. They decorated for Halloween. The hash browns were the best. Omelette was at least 3 eggs, and they didn't skimp on ham either. Booths were new with hangers for coats/purses. They always forget the ranch when ordering through online services and super stingy with the "side of chili" for fries. I have to ALWAYS double check I get the right amount and god forbid I order chili fries with a side of ranch because apparently it's not included and costs extra but there is no way to pay for that ahead of time. It's the bane of my existence. WHY SO STINGY ON THE RANCH. It costs the severs nothing to include it. I ordered a chicken finger pita (with the comments saying side of ranch) and it's NEVER included. I stopped ordering chili fries with a side of ranch because it's NEVER INCLUDED and that lil cup of chili is not enough. So I had order normal fries with a side of ranch (which is never included) and a cup of chili for extra.... This place feels like a rip off every time. My order isn't complicated. Horrible service. A group of nurses ordered a large salad tray for a going away lunch at work. The tray was supposed to serve 12. We got enough lettuce but one tiny container of each topping. We literally each got one olive and one beet. We also were told we were not allowed to pay ahead of time over the phone although we have done this for years. When we called to speak to the manager she told us "whatever comes out of the kitchen is what you get". We told them we feel bad that after many years of our department doing business with their restaurant that we will have to go elsewhere and all the manager had to say is that she's sorry to hear that. No effort on her end to try to make things right or even simply just apologize for the inconvenience. After paying $90 total for a salad some of us only got plain lettuce and dressing. read more

Was craving my favorite Greek salad from Leo's for New Year's Eve. This is the first time I have ordered from this particular Leo's and I was pleased with the food and service. Ordered over the phone. Food came out in a timely manner. The lady checking me out was very friendly. Veggies were super crisp and fresh, and they put on just the right amount of feta cheese. Their Greek dressing is my favorite Greek dressing. The salad also came with pita bread on the side. The food and the service were really good here like other Leo's locations I've been to. I know the standard is low for Leo's, but my carry out was honestly pathetic and I feel robbed. My 'grilled cheese sandwich' was literally not cooked at all; two pieces of uncooked bread with cold cheese in the middle. My 'cheese sticks' had NO CHEESE in them?! Legit broken in half and no cheese. Also ordered a baby Greek salad and they didn't put beets or olives. Don't advertise food on your menu and then give the consumer the opposite of what they asked for, inedible food. read more
