I genuinely don't understand how I keep giving Les Mains another chance. Every visit starts with the same thought: why does this place always look like it's in the middle of being cleaned up after a disaster? The salon consistently feels cluttered, messy, and less than spotless. When you're trusting someone with services that involve being inches from your face, cleanliness shouldn't feel optional. Then there's the eyebrow service. Getting your brows done should be a little self-care moment--not like visiting a dominatrix. The technician is incredibly rough, to the point where I brace myself before every appointment. I leave with great eyebrows, perhaps, but also wondering why I feel like I've just survived a contact sport. I've gone back hoping maybe I caught them on an off day, but the experience has been remarkably consistent. A salon should leave you feeling refreshed, confident, and cared for. Instead, I leave relieved that it's over. Unfortunately, this is one beauty routine I'll be taking elsewhere. read more

I really wanted to love this place. My first visit was great--the woman who did my nails was kind, patient, and did an amazing job. That experience is actually why I came back instead of going to my usual nail shop. But this second visit? Completely different story. The service was honestly disappointing. The energy was off, I didn't feel welcomed, and the overall experience just felt rushed and careless. It's frustrating because I gave them another chance based on how nice they were the first time, and it did not live up to that at all. I went here for the first time last week, I decided I wanted to try the airbrush on my SNS. One of the nail techs told me she wanted to take a picture of my nails when they were done because they were going to look really nice. It took 3 different air brushes because they kept breaking/leaking old polish colors from previous users. The man doing my nails couldn't get the airbrush right so someone else had to keep coming over to take it off to redo it. After several attempts I said we can just take the airbrush off because my nails were getting thick from the constant re-applying and I had already been there for 2 hours and he said "No they're not thick". When I went to pay the manager told me they "would get it right next time". I knew it was bad when the nail tech decided not to take a photo of my nails in the end. read more

I go here consistently. Typically my nails turn out fine, but customer service isn't a priority for them. The techs themselves are all great, but I've had issues the last two visits, including them trying to do builder gel on me despite signing in for SNS, which resulted in 30 wasted minutes. I experienced another issue related to very poor communication between employees, and they didn't apologize until I requested it. It might be time to find a new place. read more

A new favorite place, particularly because I went in with trauma happening with my right, big toe (ingrown nail) and left with complete relief. BIG thanks to Cindy, and then also Lonnie--whom Cindy brought in to help cut out the ingrown portion and offer relief. For real though, seeing two nail technicians working feverishly on one man's toe was comedy gold. Beyond the amazing service, the place is designed beautifully and offers a wonderful environment to relax and recharge. This was my second time at this salon. I really liked the gentleman who did my nails. Unfortunately there was a new hire ( tech) who sat next to us and talked and talked and talked. And she was RUDE. Telling me my bRows looked bad and that " she can do " for me. Then asked if my lashes were " mine" ( which they are"). Then started talking about Religion.THEN , went back to my eyebrows. Telling me they look bad and need fixed. I was so offended. While I know my brows need some touching up it was extremely rude of her to point it out, not once but twice. The salon did not have a manager there. Upon paying for my ridiculously expensive nails, I asked to speak to whomever was in charge. Another ( male) tech, who had good English, stepped outside with me where I fully unloaded about how unprofessional and rude this tech was. She talked about crap the entire time I was getting nails done. I went in there for a quiet experience and to unwind. The music was LOUD and annoying. Techs sleeping in pedicure chairs, and it was very un kept and dirty. BUT, my nails turned out fine. He did not do the " TAP" kind I asked for and basically did what he wanted to do. I was so annoyed with the new tech " observing" that I didn't care. I just wanted to get done and get out. I do not recommend this salon. It's a run of the mill, absolutely nothing special place. 2 stars for my nails only. I asked for Tap and I got " builder gel" , whatever that is. The rest is no stars at all. Vibe was not relaxing, service was poor. The area there aT the Exchange is too busy and chaotic for my tastes. read more

I didn't want to post a review until I saw if my nails lasted and after almost two weeks, they have. I got a gel manicure and aside from nail growth, the polish hasn't chipped. They have O.P.I. nail polish, which I really liked. They have walk in appointments which is very convenient. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of my nail tech but I really liked the work done. The manicure was done in 45-50 minutes, mind you, I didn't need nail polish removal. I asked for three coats of the color and two of the top coat and the nail tech did not complain or anything. Will definitely go back again and hopefully with the same nail tech. read more

I got a manicure with tips & design by Mike and WOW! This is the best manicure I've gotten all year. He did the most amazing job, they're better than the reference photo! Mike was super attentive to detail, making sure all my nails were even, the tips were applied correctly, and the designs were straight. He made sure I liked my nails every step of the way. I left this nail appointment trying to figure out what I had done wrong because I've never had a nail person treat me so badly, but after I read a few of the recent reviews, I realized it wan't me! I won't be going back after this experience. I asked for a recommendation for a color and the manicurist let out a big sigh showing how irritating I was to her. Throughout the manicure she hit my cuticle multiple times with the drill and each time I pulled my hand back and told her it hurt, but she would give me a mean look without apologizing. I asked her to shape my nails in a "squoval" shape and she said he would do oval. When I let the guy at the front know how rude the manicurist had been he said, "oh she might be having a bad day." Service is super inconsistent and when it's bad, it's just terrible. This place isn't cheap either. I got a gel manicure in preparation for a trip and less than a day later, 2 of my nails had chipped and the rest were starting to peel and had texture issues, basically like they were stick on nails. During the manicure I had to ask multiple times to have my nails actually be the same length, many of them were shaped lopsided. They charged 15 dollars to take off SNS that I had gotten from them previously as well. read more

I came here from January 2023 to April 2023. The only reason I stopped is because I didn't want to spend extra on my nails when I can do them myself at home. I probably got about 4 different colors throughout these months. The two pictured below are the two last ones. My first one was an artificial nail and the second one was a Valentine's themed one that was very cute. I always felt welcomed and didn't have to wait too long. Today for the first time I was not happy with the service. I usually go to the same person but she wasn't there. The lack of effort for a simple pedi. Barely took skin off and barely scrub my feet when that was the only thing I came for. A clean up. I know ppl have bad days but as a staff you should ALWAYS be respectful of customers. There are a few techs and front desk workers that are kind but as of late their professionalism and respect has been very minimal and disappointing. I got a fill in done on Monday but had an issue come up on Tuesday that needed me to return to get fixed. My original tech Mike wasn't there (who I enjoy a lot and is very kind and accommodating) so another person quickly repaired my nail. She first off questioned if I got my nails done there and proceeded to LAUGH in my face while holding my nails and showing them to her other co workers. Even goes as far to try and confirm my services in their kiosk thing that you register in. I asked her did she have issue with my nails or did he not do a good job or what & she just said I just doubt that he did them.:.. as if I would lie. Once I confirmed my service and who did them she dismissed my hand and said "you can go".... I have never felt disrespected like that & when I told the front desk I felt uncomfortable they just responded that she was making another joke with co workers. read more

Yesterday was my 3rd visit and I couldn't be more pleased with the services I've gotten. Angie on the nails and Allen on the toes-well, legs and feet are the combo made for meee! Angie's shaping skills are phenomenal and she has a great eye for color. I can't wait until my nail length is design worthy bc I think she'll do a great job. Allen's massage finesse is magical. He seems very meticulous about the paint job and I don't mind the time he takes with it either. I have ONLY one issue. For the second time, my pedi polish got caught on my socks after an entire 36 hrs of dry time with no foot covering. I'm a lil suspicious that the regular nail lacquer isn't cared for so that you'll be forced to upgrade to the indestructible gel polish. I hear that's a thing. ...and these pedi chairs are like none other that I have tried. I typically hate them bc they don't accommodate petites but this one?! I appreciate that (so far) they let me stay 20-30 mins more until my toes semi-dry Parking-is a bit competitive bc of the great stores & restaurants that share the lot. Environment-is calming and minimal, which makes it obvious they are clean and damn near sterile. You actually see the hostess cleaning every station after a client leaves the station. Appointments-the 5 min grace period needs some more grace. Lol Over all...I love it here! So while I hope you readers will patronize this lovely place....if u make it so popular that I have a tough time getting a spot...we gonna have a problem. Ya dig?! read more

I really liked the atmosphere and nail techs, but my nails cracked and chipped (I got SNS) within the first week of while I was on vacation, and when I came in to get them fixed, still within 2 weeks, the manager refused to fix them or give a discount on getting them redone, because it was "outside of 1 week." This was an impromptu visit! I was in the shopping plaza heading to Trader Joes to grocery shop and noticed the nail salon next door. I visited their Chattahoochee Works location and wasn't thrilled with the service but decided to give this one a try. My last pedicure was in December and I was long overdue for one . I decided to get their basic spa pedicure with clear polish. The salon is beautifully decorated and very clean. The young man working the front desk acknowledged me right away and accepted me as a walk-in. They have massage chairs that are super comfortable and really loosened the muscles in my back. The technician that did my pedicure didn't speak English that well so we exchanged polite smiles and a hello. She was fantastic, the massage was SOOO relaxing and deluxe pedicure quality, and she took her time shaping and filing my nails, they looked 10x better than they did when I walked in. I really appreciated the care and quality work. My go to nail salon is in Buckhead and I'm pretty loyal but I must say if I can't get there I'll definitely visit again.   Make sure you don't' park in the Trader Joes designated parking spots, they will boot you. read more

Definitely one of the nicer and chic salons I've been to. Their spa chairs are super fancy but only works when the nail tech turns the jet spa on. I just moved from Alpharetta to downtown so after almost 20 years with my Nail Tech; I had to find someone new. I decided to try Les Mains. Great location and lots of color choices. The salon is set up beautifully and I loved the massage chairs. Here's my issue... 1. I asked the gentleman doing my toes to find me the matching get color for my nails. What he brought wasn't the match. 2. I already have a chip on one of my toes after 2 days ...that hasn't happened in a long time. 3. I have a crooked nail. You know what that means...the technician is new. Only new technicians do crooked nails. 4. I just don't love the look of my nails. They aren't cheap but I'm used to the prices. I think I'll continue to look around for a nail salon. read more

This place is lovely if you don't know what a clean, organic, nail spa experience should be. I was curious to try this place out, since I saw it every time I went to Trader Joe's. When I called, I asked if they do "waterless pedicures," and they enthusiastically confirmed that they do. I was psyched. Walking in, I was simultaneously overwhelmed by how pretty the place is and by the strength of the acrylic odor. Flag one. I checked in and confirmed again that I wanted a waterless pedi and a regular mani with no polish. The female receptionist was a bit confused, but there was a man that came up and clarified it. I believe he was the same man who made the appointment for me. Flag two. I was seated in my pedicure chair and aside from the terrible chemical odors, everything was cool. Then my pedicurist came over. She asked me about a waterless pedicure 4 times. Between her mask and soft voice, I simply couldn't hear her question. I just kept repeating "no soaking." We reached an impasse and just stared blankly at each other. Flag three. I should have left at this point. Finally, in what seemed like a desperate attempt to get it over with, she took out a used nail file to file my toe nails. That's right, a used nail file. The disposable kind. So I paused, and asked her if it was a used nail file. She abruptly shot up, took her bucket of tools, and left the room. I sat in the chair for a few more minutes, sure that someone would address me and make it make sense. Nope. I eventually flagged down the same man from before, and he said she didn't know what a waterless pedicure was. He then asked me if I still wanted the service, but we both knew it was over. I said no thank you. In closing, do not go here if you want an organic spa experience or customer service. They didn't offer the service that was booked and confirmed. The pedicurist attempted to use a disposable nail file. And they didn't apologize for wasting my time. No one cared. read more

My regular manicure lasted for 10 days without chipping and my gel pedicure lasted for one month. My only complaint is that they don't take online RSVPs and they're always crowded. new nail salon in midtown/the highlands! there was a group of 7 of us at 11 am on a wednesday - we made appointments beforehand & they were able to accommodate us easily. my SNS with tips was $60 and my regular pedicure was $34. definitely the priciest manicure i've had, but they did a really great job - usually i can feel the ridge where the tip was glued on, but this time it's super smooth! they also bring the SNS options to you so you can sit while sifting through. the massage chairs are incredibly comfy. really nice staff, i mainly took off one star for the price read more

Let me preface with my nails looked good when I left. They did chip day two. That's not why I'm reviewing. I was completely nickel and dimed. I got a fill in and was able to pick my service AND PRICE at the entry. $35 is what I expected to spend. I get in for the fill in and the tech asked me if I wanted to get them cut down, I said yes please (as I do at every other nail salon I've been to) then I got the bill and got charged $3 for cutting my nails down. $6 for "fixing" a mail they pulled off. Then $16 for polish. With them never telling me as they asked that they would charge me. I told the tech Im sorry but his tip is in not telling me how much each thing would cost. I would have never gone. I love sugar coat who doesn't do that. read more

So I recently reviewed Lea Mains about a month ago and gave them 5 stars. I now have to update my review. Since coming to Atlanta, I've been at Les Mains three times and the quality has not been consistent. The first time I got my dip nails done they lasted about 3 weeks which I was happy with since my salon back in Austin lasted about that long too. However, the last two times have lasted LESS than 2 weeks, and most recently my nail even chipped within 4 days (see pic). I have never had such poor quality SNS powder done and I'm definitely going to look for a new salon. I can even see cracks forming on the color which I have never seen before since getting dip over 20 times now. The people are nice though. After my second manicure one of my nails chipped within an hour but they fixed it for free when I went back. I honestly expected much better quality for their prices and will not be returning to this salon. It's too bad since it's in a great shopping center right next to Trader Joe's and is very convenient for me. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt after the second manicure when it only lasted about 10 days but now that I've had a chip just a few days after getting them done I will definitely be looking for a new salon. read more
