Worst maintenance experience I've had, I work in maintenance made a appointment they take walk in as more of a priority, waited 1:30 hr just to get my car in even though I made it a point that I have work later and can't miss it, had to call out of work so I can wait for my car just to wait another hour to have them say they couldn't work on my car cause a bolt is spinning. after looking at my car they didn't touch shit everything under there is new so what bolt was spinning they never gave any further explanation, and they gave me a quote for two new tires which is over priced just to put a tire I already have on cost 100$, and the customer service didn't seem to care just wanted me out so all in all everything is a zero don't come here for a alignment don't even come to get your car worked on cause you can't trust them they just waste time and scam read more

Terri blue service, Sherry at the front desk is rude. I called to make an appointment for my brakes and they said just to bring my car in today! I told them I had a Range Rover he says no problem.... We show up and they say how backed up they are, then they tell us they don't have the parts. We leave it there for a break inspection and were quoted an hour and a half... 2 hours later they haven't looked at the brakes.. they say oh you are next!!! Sherry was so surprisingly rude to me, and then when I called her back to talk to her about it, she told me it was the system, but I am at this age to where I know how to talk to people, and even if we had to wait longer for the system, I wouldn't have minded if she wasn't so mean to me it was shockingly mean, which is really disappointing because my family goes to Les Schwab because they believe they're reputable and have good service. Super disappointed in the service level with Les Schwab nowadays. In the past, it was always simple to stop and get a little bit of air. Stopped by the Les Schwab on Shaw and I was told I needed to wait in line with all the cars having major work done just to get a little air. My father loves Les Schwab so I've been to many over the past decade or two. Unfortunately this has got to be the worst one I've been to by far. The staff aren't overly rude, but they were giving me the impression that they didn't want to help me. It took them two hours to get out to the parking lot to look at my tires and told me that just by looking at the tires they could tell that they couldn't fix anything. I could also hear one employee taking a phone call and after hanging up telling his fellow worker how crazy the customer was for coming back so many times and how swamped they were that day. I got tires from them a couple years ago come to find out the tires they sold me were around 158 for each tire and I got four and they charged me over 2000 dollars for tires barley over 600 dollars. After spending almost a year and a half in England I returned to Aloha in early July. The first time I drove our Audi Q5 about 10 days ago, the rt rear tire low air pressure light came on. Thinking the tire was just low because it has not been driven in a very long time, I dropped by Les Schwab on Shaw to get the tire inflated to the proper air pressure. I have used this and other Les Schwab for many years. I had complete confidence in them. When I pulled up in front of Les Schwab I was pulled into a stall. The tires were all checked and the rear tire was inflated to the proper pressure. When the Les Schwab employee told me he was finished, he told me that my tires were all need of replacement. I said are you sure, he said yes they all needed to be changed. I was very surprised. These are Michelin Latitude Tour tires and they only have 20,000 on them. I was disgusted with Les Schwab for trying to pull the kind of trick on me. I drove away. My rear tire needed air again a few days later and I went to a different tire shop. They found a nail in my rear tire and repaired it for free. I asked them about my tires and was told they had many more miles on them. Les Schwab you have really lost my confidence in you. I have been a loyal customer of les schwab (Aloha ) for 30 years, not any more! went to have brakes done on my 2019 Toyota Highlander , they had given me a quote back at the end of December for a little over $600 , I went away to Mexico for the winter and got back march 25th , took the vehicle back in on march 29th to have the work done and when I went back to pick it up the total was now $1300 , they gave no explanation other then the cost is the cost, Les schwab is no longer the company they used to be since selling out to a Hedge fund, I will no longer support this company , if you look at the reviews for the Aloha store they are poor. I've never written a review before but thought I should! funny thing I was going to go there on Monday and have my snow tires taken off and purchase a new set of tires , on my Tacoma , since I had them throw my old one's out when I had them put my snow tires on back in November , I will now go to Discount tires they have a better selection with lower prices , but always stuck with Les Schwab. they not to get my loyalt. read more

On the positive side, while I have had mixed experience with their front desk folks, this time they were fine--except when it comes to social distancing and Covid. What is the point of wearing a mask over just your mouth, or even just your chin? Some desk staff did not wear them at all. I don't know how this came about, except evidently the local manager has decided not to instruct his or her staff to be considerate of the health of others. While I fully realize--better than they might imagine--how uncomfortable masks are, I also think they are less uncomfortable than a hose shoved down one's through to enable breathing. This location has disappointed so many times. It took another location in Independance Or (awesome by the way) to tell me the truth! I paid for an alignment several months ago. Kept going back to let m know my car was still pulling to the right. Waited multiple times and even bought tires throughout this process. By the time I gave up on the service in Aloha and took my jeep renegade to another Les Shwab to have we it checked out, I was told no one had aligned it at all and the pulling doesn't have to do w an alignment so much as a rotator cuff or something... in any regard I could not get what I wanted out of the Les Shwab in Aloha and am really bummed to even be posting this BUT in some cases it's the only way a business makes improvements. Whoever is doing your alignments or saying they are being done, probably want to follow up w him and the managers! So much of my time wasted! read more

Went to the Imbrie Les Schwab today in Hillsboro, OR for my tires to be rotated and was provided very poor service. I walked to a location to have lunch and came back to find my truck had not moved which was about 50min. After another 10min I asked about the status and was told I was next. After 40 minutes later with many bays open and seeing many of the employees coming back with lunch and nobody working in the shop I figured they are coming to halt as it comes to working and decided to get my key back and leave. I remember when you could drive up to Les Schwab and they would run out to your vehicle and a tire rotation or flat tire took about 15 min. Not so much anymore. Their service has went down hill. Today marks the second time that Les Schwab has screwed up my car (perhaps the issue is on me for thinking things might have changed after they messed up my Jetta in three separate ways and had it for over a week). I took my Honda Civic in for a trip check, as I was supposed to be leaving for Utah tomorrow. I expected them to say it needed something (no one does anything for free, I get how this works), and indeed, they said I needed a new battery. Simple enough, right? Sure, change the battery. We went up there 20 minutes ago, as they said "it's about done, come on up," and get there only to find out that somehow, now my car won't start and they have no idea why. I am not a mechanic, but I do know how to change a battery, and never in my 24 years of driving a vehicle have I ever screwed up putting in a battery *so much* that the car would then *not start*. We have no ETA on when my vehicle will be fixed. No one has any idea what's wrong with it. At this rate, it appears I will not be leaving tomorrow as planned, and to be quite honest I don't know that I would trust driving it for 10 hours after these people have touched it. I've given it two stars for now. ETA: Now, supposedly it's done (again). I cannot accurately quantify my level of skepticism on this point, but perhaps it is actually done. We'll see how it runs after I get it back (since the first time they gave me my Jetta back my brakes were more screwed up than when I brought it in, I am hesitant to go "okay everything is fine" before I actually drive the car.) This location was always easy and convenient for me since it's near my home. I have come to this location a few times and never had an issue until now. The staff is great and very professional and I really do appreciate their hard work but the mechanics have some room for improvement which is why I've given them 3 stars. I had a ton of work done on my vehicle after a trip check on Friday the 13th. I was grateful because I didn't realize what all needed to be done. Saturday the 14th I was maybe 10 minutes from my home on 185th nearing the freeway when we heard a noise and it almost felt like a flat tire but we also couldn't move the truck. My husband got out of the car and saw the rear passenger caliper had come off. All I knew was that it was something to do with the brakes and it was NOT good. It was pretty scary sitting on the side of the road on 185th with my hazards on when all the passing vehicles did not seem to care enough to leave room and even had the nerve to honk at me as if I chose to break down in that spot. I would've called this store to fix the error but they were not close to my location and I was already upset at how much this whole ordeal delayed my plans with family that live out of state. I lost about 3 hrs because of this and when I should've been arriving for breakfast in Washington, I was just leaving Hillsboro. For as much money as I spent at this location especially on that particular visit, I expect the work to be 100%. This location really let me down. It was difficult to write this review because I really do like the staff here. They've always been professional and treated me well but I don't know if I can return after something like this happening. read more

Last week, I was looking for a Les Schwab to call for a tire replacement. I didn't call this location due to the lower number of stars, and I picked another location. I went to another Les Schwab (not this location) and the level of service I received was 3 stars or so. That disappointed me. Soon after, I had an issue with the new tires, and so I visited this location (this one, the Aloha location) for help. They helped me out pretty quickly and solved the issue within minutes. Although it could've been handled by one person, two technicians handled two tires each, which significantly sped up the process. They even discover another potential issue and immediately rectified it. From my view, I received fast service with great quality at a reasonable price, which is exactly what I expect from Les Schwab. This is why they received 5 stars from me. read more

I'd give 0 stars if I could, the manager I talked to was extremely passive aggressive. When I brought my business van to les Schwab tires to swap for my studded tires they didn't charge me. Well didn't tell me they where charging me, gave me no receipt and 0 communication,I have/had no problem paying it but they didn't tell me so I was under the assumption they swapped the tires I bought at les for free. I understand I was wrong and don't mind paying the original price but now there is late fees and are telling me there is two charges for swapping my tires. I have only had this van for a year and put the tires on in January and they are still on. Manager said well there's nothing where going to do about that, the lady I talked to said well I can't speak for another employee but you should have been told. At least she was kind. read more

When I came out from shopping the tire was completely flat. I had to have AAA tow me to the location on Shaw street. I arrived after closing at 5:05 pm. Of course my truck had tools inside. This is the closest Les Schwab location to my house. About 5:00 on Saturday my husband came in the house to tell me there's a screw in my tire and it's deflating fast, better head to Les Schwab right now as he was thinking they closed at 6. So I immediately got in the car and pulled in around 5:15 to find they had closed at 5. But, one bay was open and several guys were working on the last car of the day. I knew I couldn't drive much more on that tire, so I rolled the window down and got the attention of one man, I believe he was the manager, to ask if they knew of anyone nearby they could recommend for tire service this late in the day, as I had a screw in my tire. He said no, but that they would get me fixed up no problem. I told him it was ok, I'd come back tomorrow and he said no no, we're opening a bay for you right now, it's no trouble. This is the epitome of customer service. I pulled in and a very nice man got right to work fixing my tire. I was out of there in probably 10 minutes and the service was free. They did not have to do this! But they did, kindly and quickly and could not have been more pleasant or helpful. They said just remember us next time you need tires. I definitely will. read more

Honesty and hard work along with the same great service received 5 years ago is exactly what I experienced today walking out of here once again. I went to have an alignment completed roughly 3 weeks ago and shortly after I was driving I heard a crunching noise when I applied my brake. I took my SUV to the Aloha Les Schwab (which my husband and I have been customers going on 6 years). I waited for a while but was then informed that I was metal on metal with my front brakes. I had all four new brakes and rotors replaced in January 2015 ). I was told that I was 1800 miles over the warranty for 3 years or 25,000 miles. I was heart broken. I let Mary Lou (receptionist) know my concern and how if I had only known what I did 3 weeks earlier I would have put money on that I would have been under the 25,000 mile warranty. She empathized with me and promptly said that she would speak to someone about this. She mentioned for me to wait a few minutes longer so someone could follow up with me. Lupe (bay attendant) came back to the lobby moments later and stated to me that he had called the owner to see what could be done. Unfortunately he did not get an immediate response but advised to call back on Monday (it was a Saturday). I did, and was told to bring my vehicle back in. Aloha Les Schwab replaced my rotors as well as new brakes - free of charge. This is not only the right thing to do, but made my perceived impending nightmare a complete turn around with my faith restored to the honest "old timey" automotive repair business. Understandably, not everyone can receive a freebie, but when it is in an effort to do what is right.. please give this establishment your business because their response to me and my concerns were way beyond my expectations. I took my new car here because I was aware Les Schwab stores have "Gorilla" wheel locks they recommend. The person that greeted me first said "people don't steal stock wheels around here," without even looking at my expensive Goodyear Eagle run-flat tires, which I am told sell for around $500 per tire (not including replacement wheels). Then he said "we don't have the locks anyway, they have to be ordered." For factory Chevy wheels? Really? I just listened, did not argue at all, and he concluded with "You know, all wheel locks can be taken off by force anyway." I won't go back to this store. Everyone from the front desk peeks, to the people I spoke to on the phone to the mechanics were friendly, polite and helpful!! They ended up putting in a set of new brake calipers at just over $100 less then what (un-named) place quoted me and proceeded to under-quote pretty much everything else on that list. Took my 2000 Lincoln Town car there for a tire. One minute it's a tire change and the steering linkage is okay as we are looking at it on the rack. The next minute this kid, who doesn't know his head from his backside, is chasing me down in the parking lot telling me they "didn't lift it right" and I need a whole new front end. Quote is more than the car is worth. Knowing an upsell when I hear one I just change the tire and low and behold 18 months later everything is working fine and there is no strange tire wear.
