I needed a trailer tire. They told me it would take one hour. I went back to pick it up in 3 hours and it had not even been started. They overcharged me for a spin balance that they did not even do. I called and have to go back to the store for them to do a refund on my card. Left the tire leaning against the counter and walked away. Did not even offer to put it in my car for me. The equipment they used to dismount my tire from the wheel scratched and took the paint off of the wheel. All in all, not good service. read more

That time of year to get the studded tires put on. So I drop off my car with my 4 studded tires already mounted on wheels. They did that beautifully. No problem with that part! But don't you think it would be nice to check the air pressures?!? They are studded snow tires. They have been sitting in the garage since last winter. But no, don't get out a pressure gauge that you have in your pocket and check. Just send me down the road with 29 lbs of air in 3 tires and one tire so low that it lit up my warning light. My car's tire pressure sender has to run a bit before it would read, and when it did I was on the freeway. That is a very unsafe situation they put me in. Do I ever trust them again? No Way! I would have rated zero stars, but app wouldn't let me. read more

Evidently Les Schwab doesn't know what appointments are or how to use them. The last two times I have arrived early, sat in their waiting room for an hour staring at my vehicle in the parking lot and only after saying something do they take it into a bay. Probably just to avoid an uncomfortable conversation in front of other customers. This time I'm back to have them re-align the vehicle because they didn't do it correctly the first time. Today I brought a vehicle into Les Schwab in Battleground, WA, to have a flat tire fixed and tires rotated. I have always been happy as a Les Schwab customer until today. When I pulled in, there were three empty bays. When I went to give them the vehicle and keys, they said it would be a minimum of two hours before the vehicle would be ready. I just got a flat tire on the freeway. Unable to get one last stubborn lug nut of the flat and after waiting almost an hour in the blazing hot sun for our insurance company to send somebody, Justin from Battle Ground Les Schwab pulled over to help us out. He used his super cool air gun and had the spare tire on in no time. He even kindly lowered the jack which we easily could have done ourselves. This place has progressively gotten worse with service. Their technicians no longer care about providing good service. Bought my tires here and would go in for regular tire rotations. When it began the technicians actually cared about providing service. However, over time those really good technicians vanished and have been replaced with younger kids that just don't care anymore. They rotated my tires and left a screw in the tire and never mentioned anything a about it. They used to balance all wheels without asking now they do not. I would advise going somewhere else for your tire needs. read more

We left our vehicle for over 6 hours to be called at closing time and told there were no parts to complete the services. Why did you keep our vehicle all day knowing you could not complete the repairs? You knew WAY before closing and did not bother to have the decency to let us know! WOW, horrible! read more

This place sold 4 new tires for my work truck. Within 2 months or less 2 out of the 4 started to come apart with tennis sized bulge's on side of the tire. Brought the vehicle back in and wanted to have tires replaced the manager gal immediately said oh yeah we don't have more of the same tires to replace with because we no longer carry them because they were failing almost immediately on the vehicles but instead of sending these back to manufacturer they sold me the last ones knowing that they would blow up. But hey she was more then happy to sell now (4) tires to replace the bad (4) that they knew would fail at full price + labor! At end they installed (4) new ones at 1/2 cost of original sticker price and waisted essentially my day and in beginning sold 4 tires that they knew would fail! I'm just glad the tire did not blow out on the highway causing a nice pile up. Bad location got to the one located in Orchards much better management. read more

Went to take my winter tires off my cube. I live a block away and drove it home with no problems. The next morning, it had the check tire pressure message. Stopped by at Les Schwab and they said to monitor the back left tire. I drive around Portland that day with no problems. Next morning, the message appears again. This time, the back left tire became flat. Like overnight. Come to Les Schwab and they believe it's not the tire so they don't replace the tire and try something else. Next day it becomes flat AGAIN. They finally decide to replace it and charge me as well even though they're Les Schwab tires. What they told me? "As soon as you get the check tire pressure message you should stop driving your car." OK, I just did that??? In fact, 3 times in a row. Thanks for blaming the customer. read more

Service is weak. They always manage to find $1k worth of repairs they can take care of today or I can take care of for about $300 on my own. Their batteries suck and unless you have triplicate proof that you bought the battery in your name they won't exchange. My car was having starting issues thought was a loose connection and called to have service at 9am didn't get to me until 230pm but I have to say the service tech Cameron was absolutely Awesome, I told my issues with the battery cable connection and he looked at got some tools, disconnected the cables, swapped how positive was connected and fixed in less than 5 minutes Very Very happy with his ability and knowledge to fix the cars problem. My 2012 Titan Procomp 6" lift had failed due to 4WD installing incorrectly. When 4WD would not stand by their work, I was left finding another place to take the truck. I took it to other local shops to get it fixed, not one shop would take it on not knowing the can of worms we could be opening. Dick at BG Les Schwab stepped up and was happy to do it without hesitation. I went in this morning to talk to the manager after they fried my battery yesterday and he still made me buy a new battery. This is not a store living to the standard that I see on the wall: "our business is earning your trust." :( I'm sorry to say I won't be returning to this store. The manager informed me it was just coincidence my battery and alternator must have gone bad while in the bay for the inspection. Before I went in, no battery light, after going in, battery light, what did they work on? The battery. I don't think this is coincidence, but I know they messed up, and instead of owning up to their mistakes, they tried to cover up theirs faults. I've gotten a second opinion from an expert and will get my new alternator and may be taking them to court for the damages and for the battery cover incident as it was left on my headers and nearly caught fire to my entire car. read more

So I return to les Schwab and clearly state how upset I was that I had been exposed to potential danger. They apologized and I ordered a new tire. Just got onto yelp but wanted to gripe about about an incident that happened years ago. This store installed a battery in a piece of equipment of mine and in doing so they they shorted the battery across a control cable. This caused the control cable to cease to function and I was unable to use the equipment on the next job. It was like pulling teeth to make them understand what they had done. It took several hours to have the replacement cable made, drive to Portland to pick it up and install it. Anyone can make a mistake, that wasn't a problem, the problem was the crappy attitude I got when they begrudgingly agreed that they caused the issue and paid for the new cable. I quit shopping at Les Schwartz after an employee at the cascade park store tried to sell a part to me that I didn't need during an alignment. Adios Les! read more

I am super disappointed. I have never had a bad experience with Les Schwab anywhere until I walked into this location. I got a flat with my four children in the car, once I got the spare on we went to the closest Les Schwab to purchase a new tire, that being the battle ground location. I was told it would be about an hour. I was completely fine with that as we were walk ins, I took the kids over to the pizza place next door for lunch. We were there for a little over an hour. As we are walking back I notice my van was still not done or even in the bay. I asked how long they anticipate me having to wait. They said "just about 15 more minutes". Again that is totally fine. About an hour later they finally start on the tire only to come out 15 minutes into it and say I would be charged another $32.00 because they had to break a wheel stud to remove the spare. Of course they do not have said wheel stud but "it will be here from the parts store in 15 minutes". Again, fine I just want it done so we can leave because my kids are exhausted and so am I after waiting two hours. Finally a hour later and still not done I ask the women at the counter what is going on. She says "they are still waiting for my part to arrive". She was not apologetic, she was quite rude actually. Another half goes by and still nothing. So I finally said they need to put the spare on I cannot wait any longer. They said you can drive with four wheel studs and make an appointment to come back when the part is in. So that is what I did because I could not wait any longer!! Flash forward to today my husband takes the car in to our scheduled appointment and low and behold he waited 45 minutes and they still do not have the tire done and the car isn't even in the bay yet. I am furious. Whats the point of having an appointment when you wait 45 minutes past it?? The customer service is terrible here. There is zero communication and no respect for others time. I will absolutely never return to this location. Les Schwab has always had our business because they thrive for excellence but after this mess we will be thinking first before we return to any location. read more

I usually love Les Schwab's service, but I won't be returning to this location. I got here and dropped of my car to get a flat fixed. I was told it would be about an hour wait. I waited over an hour and my car never moved from the parking lot. I went up to ask how long it would be and I was then told my car wouldn't be worked on for another two hours. This is the second time I've had this happen here. I'll be taking my car to a different location from now on. read more
