It was Christmas Eve (Day) and a ton of things to still do, plus a holiday road trip planned on Christmas Day, I waited for them to open at 8am in a cold rainy parking lot. At 740am Kevin comes up to my window and asks if he can help me. I said thank you, but you guys aren't open for another 20 minutes. To my surprise, he asked me to pull on in anyway, I know you got lots to do. I got my battery tested, he let me know that it needed to be replaced. He invited me into the front office to wait until they opened at 8 o'clock. I can't help to think that we need more Kevin's in the world! I had an alignment done on a toyota 4X4 and they bolted the steering stabilizer completely off center so that it barely turned one direction. I dropped my car off today at this Les Schwab to get the battery checked and a tire fixed. After drop off I received a call from an employee explaining the battery condition and that I'd need to get a tire replaced. Great. Not long after I received a call saying I could return to the store to pick up my car. When I arrive back, I see my car is just finishing up so I check in with the person at the counter saying they told me to come back in. She says it's not done yet but they'll let me know. A little while later I realize my car has moved to the parking lot, so I go back up to the counter and say "hey just realized my car is sitting in the lot, just wondering if I could pay." The employee seems frustrated that I'm asking them anything and says "nope they'll let you know when it's done." Seems weird to me because the car was clearly finished and sitting in the lot but the counter employee seemed to not want to bother. I continue waiting around the store. I realized it had been an hour and 40 minutes since I got the call saying my car was ready. I go back up to the counter saying "Sorry to bother you again, but should I go home and come back later? It's been more than an hour and a half since I came back and my car is just sitting in the lot." The desk employee does not seem interested in helping. A different employee overhears, looks around the desk and says "oh looks like your paperwork is right here" and grabs the paper and helps me check out. The original desk employee says nothing and walks away. Not even an apology for ignoring that my paperwork was just sitting around for over and hour and a half and multiple attempts from me to politely ask for help. Terrible service from her when clearly I could've been home long ago. No discount for that or anything. To top it off, there wasn't even any popcorn at this location which I didn't know was possible. read more

Took the car in for new tires yesterday. Needed them done same day, and Les Schwab had us covered. Able to get four new tires in less than an hour. At first glance they looked used, after further inspection you could tell the tread was new. However less than an hour after driving my tire pressure light went on. After spending $430 for new tires, you would think checking tire pressure would be basic. Amazing but only once did I choose not to wait for service due to a longer than expected wait. Funny part is the staff was very candid and offered information to allow us to choose what to do. Our tire issue wasn't urgent thankfully but the staff we spoke to made sure to make us feel like we mattered despite the full house of folks waiting ahead of us. An unexpected boom of drop by business, I think a good testament to their staff, they were quick to ask questions and offer solutions for our needs at the time. I JUST WANT MY TIRE BACK! I left a tire there at 10:30am and they told me it would be a couple of hours and that they would call me when it was done. They closed and went home and i never got a call so now i don't have my tire and wheel for my car and have to drive to work tonight on my spare and hopefully when i get off work i can wait around until they open and get my tire back. This is exactly why i stopped buying tires from them years ago, they act like they are all about customer service but if you aren't a big customer they don't care about you. read more

Les Schwab is the most reliable, consistent business when it comes to servicing your automotive needs, tires, brakes, suspension etc,. I have gotten roadside service from them on two occasions, and they were out as quickly as they could be, and got the repair done quickly and accurately, and we were back on the road. I believe that Les Schwab might be a little bit more expensive than some of the other shops, but I have never had to bring any of our vehicles back to have them reserviced for the same service we went in for and they are true to their word. They will fix your tire for free if they sold the tire to you and you get a bolt in it, or something like that, they will fix it at no cost to you. In this day and age I do not know of any other business that is quite this respectful and concerned about building good customer relations and keeping them. Our local Les Schwab is open from 8:30 in the morning until six Monday through Friday and I believe the Saturday hours are a little bit shorter, they're very accommodating. My tire pressure light on my dash came on & so I pulled up to have them checked. Someone came out of one of the bays promptly to greet me, check them, & fill them. He said one was considerably low & I was advised to come in very soon to have it fixed. Dash light went off after they were all filled. 2 days later, dash light back on & so I called to make an appointment. The man I spoke to said I could just stop by & they could do it while I wait. I arrived on a Thursday morning around 9:30am, I was greeted by Katie who promptly took my info & keys & told me it shouldn't be too long. Since these types of things are first come, first served, I was prepared to wait awhile. While I was waiting, there were at least 3 other people that checked out with no fee for the same thing I needed - a flat repair. 3 other people were in the waiting area while I was there also. Soon, I saw my car pull up & the guy who worked on it called my name & let me know there was a nail in it but that it's all fixed up now & free of charge. I had no idea they offered this service, and I was fully expecting to pay. I was in and out in a little less than an hour. Les Schwann gets no more of my money and I'll tell you now it's been thousands. 8/2/2018 I came back here because it was the closest place in an emergency situation. I showed up at 7:30am and waited. At 7:45 the guy opened the door so I went in and sat not to disturb him as he finished opening. He knew I was there and not a hi, or how are you, nothing. I don't like leaving negative reviews.. however, I used to love getting my seasonal changeovers here. This year I made an appointment more than a week in advance and when I showed up TO MY APPOINTMENT.. they told they weren't taking anymore cars for the day. I quickly replied I have an appointment and the guy up front who is extremely rude acted annoyed and said it could be done by 6... which was 7 hours after my scheduled time. We then decided I would come back next day to drop off. I come in next day and am finally greeted by someone who is nice. However, I come pick up my car and it's the rude guy again telling me I'm supposed to pay for my seasonal changeover when the last few times I have got the changeover it's always been free because I purchased the tires at les schwab. The guy basically called me a liar and said that was never the case. At the end of the day I don't mind paying if this is the new way but you can be kind and not basically ridicule someone and call them a liar. I wish I had this guys name because he should not be working with other people. Everyone at this establishment used to be great. This is the worst customer service I have ever had at this place and I grew up coming here for everything car related. Definitely take your business elsewhere if you want kind and reliable service. I would not buy a tire stem cap from this location which translates to Les Schwab will never see a nickel of my business. The reader should go elsewhere for tires, wheels or alignments. I took my Dodge Durango there some 18 months ago for brakes and it resulted in tie rods and some front end work neglected by the previous owner. No worries I agreed to let Les Schwab do the work to the tune of $1300. It was extensive work. Fast forward to a few weeks ago. My standard mechanic I use for most everything uncovers by happenstance that the same tires I purchased from Les Schwab during that same front end work were balding in the inside to the core. He then uncovered the tie rods were 2 different brands (one with a grease fitting the other without) and the passenger side was very defective causing the internal true wear. So I take the work tie rod to this Les Schwab asking goto talk to a manger. Armed with receipts for everything, the first this Brandon does is tell me "Oh no, our mechanics would never use defective parts.". But why are there 2 different brands? "Oh we do that sometimes.". Yea right. Whatever. Here is where Les Schwab screwed me. Brandon agree to my face to save me 15% on 2 new tires (I'm still paying well over $300 for them, AND...he'll do the front end alignment for free. Cool. He checks on if he has the tires but they don't (Its a Saturday). However they can do a tire run and have them in the afternoon. I look at him and go "Tires this afternoon and alignment on you?" Yep" was his answer.. I return at 1PM. At 4 I get the call my rig is ready. i ask the guy new tires and alignment are done already? He's puzzled..alignment? Oh boy here we go. So I get there and ask for Brandon. He denies agreeing to the alignment. I tell him Why would I just have a new tie rod installed by my mechanic and get new tires with no alignment that YOU AGREED TO? Nothing but excuses. Telling me I misread him. BS. So I told him this was the last $ they would ever see from me. I almost told him to take the new tires off and put the bad ones back on. Don't waste your time here. Americans Tire. Coscto, WallMart. HiWay Fuel in Washougal. Go there. Oh and my Durango pulls to the right so I gotto go to one of the above and get it aligned. read more

**Update** Okay, I'm chaning my tune a bit. When I went in and had this wonderful service they did mess one thing up (which lead to another one). They forgot to put one of my wheel covers back on which isn't a huge deal BUT then when I realized it and called they said it was behind the counter. A few days later I went to pick it up and THEY HAD GIVEN IT TO SOMEONE ELSE!!! WTH!? So then they do the nice thing and give me all new ones (happy) but they look like crap (bad) compared to the ones I had before. I will now forever and ever be checking everything when I leave there. Seriously, between speding 1.5 hours @ gaynor's getting and oil change and then this...UGGGG!!!*** There is no better place then Les Schwab to by tires! Always have, always will. My husband bought us all new tiers in April or May for the Camry. On Christmas Eve (of ALL the days...) we got a flat. Turns out it was a nail that actually went all the way through which explained why we couldn't see it. I took it to this Les Schwab this morning and they replaced the whole thing for free. So my parents has always gone here as far back as I can remember. And I know Les Schwab in general is really the best (there has been a few times they have came out & saved me or my parents when we were on road trips) That's how I know their commercials that look fake, probably aren't & are all real stories. So as an adult, I just don't have that kind of money to spend on tires. Their tires are pretty expensive. I'm a girl & can think of a million other things I would rather spend money on. So I went some where else for the 1st time ever to get new tires. What do ya know, a few months later I ended up with a flat. I was in between pay days & didn't have a savings back then, so my parents let me use their account to get a new tired & I was going to pay them back. So I went into here without an appointment. They helped me out right away & fixed my flat! I went to go get a print out of the bill so I could let my parents know how much I owed them. They said "don't worry about it, we just repaired it" I told them I got the tire from another company. They said, "We know, how about from now on you just come to use." I came into Les Schwab because one of my tires was losing air. Apparently, I had picked up a nail but that was the least of my problems. They brought the tire to me and showed me that there was actually a 4 inch split in the tire that was almost down to the core. I was ready to have them replace the tire but unfortunately it was not one of their brands. I have always used Les Schwab but then it occurred to me that this was a newer vehicle and hadn't been serviced by Les Schwab yet. Of course they could have talked me into a completely new set of tires, but the owner told me that these tires still had plenty of tread on them. I just needed to figure out where to find a tire store that carries this off brand. After I got home, I received a call from Les Schwab and the owner told me that he tracked down a few different dealers. But after he did some research, he actually gave me the location that offered the best price. To say that I am impressed is an understatement. Gunderson's Tire Center in Camas has always gone above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Tires YES, YES, and YES. I've always had Great service from the Camas Les Schwab, off HWY 14 & Union. BUT...having had such great service I asked about an alignment issue, and 2 other possible issues. When the mechanic looked over my car he came back with His recommendation of the necessary repairs. OUCH!!!!!! He explained each repair and why they were necessary. I went to an authorized auto shop for my make of car, to get a second opinion. I told them my same concerns; their estimates for the SAME repairs were 1/5th of LS. I was told one of the Problems LS Found was not an issue at all. Sorry LS, I'll only be in for tires! read more

we went into get a tire sensor replaced. My TPMS system indicated that it was the drivers side rear tire and the rear tires are close to needing replaced but barely to the wear bar and no cords showing. Not only did I have to drop my car off but I wasn't gone from the shop more than 15 minutes when they called to say I needed 4 new tires...NO! The rear will need it but the front tires are only 6 months old, we always buy 2 and put the fronts to the rear. In addition to this they said it was the right front tire that needed the sensor, but they didn't want to do it they only wanted to up sell us tires! Well We wanted to shop local and will never go here again. There was no reason the work shouldn't have been done as we took it directly to another shop without saying we had even taken it anywhere else and had it fixed promptly and by the way it was the rear sensor as my TPMS indicated and we were told that those tires would need replacing soon but we're still legal and safe...SO all we can say is what a bunch of liar scam artist...lost our business permanently! read more

She called me when this Les Schwab told her that they would have to replace all four tires to keep the matched set on her AWD car. My wife called me, and I told them to just replace the one. The rep went on to say he couldn't get a single replacement tire for a week. I had them put the temp spare back on and took our business elsewhere. Never doing business with this location again. I have always bought my tires at Les Schwab as my family growing up did as well. We have been long time customers due to their quality service and on-going support of their tires.... However with this said, I have had an experience at this particular LS which concerns me and truthfully angers me a bit. I took my ski truck in before the season started to check over the tires, particularly the rear passenger which took 4 cans of fix a flat to get to LS. They filled it up with air and said everything was good to go. Time passes.. a few weeks... I get in my truck to head up to the Mtn for New Years and after taking the exit for gas at 164th, at the gas station, my rear passenger tire was completely flat. Mistakes happen however this time it was a bit more irratating than maybe just heading up on the weekend. The issue here is when I limped it to Camas stopping at every gas station from 164th to Camas to fill the quickly deflating tire I arrived to drop off my truck. There were 3 employees still on site as they had just closed. When I dropped my keys off in the box, they came out to get my information. I explained what was going on and they could not care less. I know the LS commercial where the girl gets her tire replaced on a holiday after calling in the GM are BS but I still think they could have cared a bit more then, We can't help you until Tuesday line they fed me after opening the door. Anyways. I digress. The real issue is when they were back on Tuesday and called me to work out the fix. They had no concern for missing the problem with my tire in the first place and letting me miss my new years plans. I would have just liked a hey, I apologize we missed fixing your tire in the first place and sorry you missed new years. I work with LS on a professional level in the past and I can assure you being one of their vendors they would not have accepted this and continued to be my customer. I have heard from others they have lost their magic and until now I have dis-agreed. However as of this review I am beginning to see why. read more

I have used this shop for brake and shock work on a couple of vehicles. They get the work done on time, for a fair price. They use average quality components, not high quality components. They are very good about repairing things that go bad under warranty, which is good, because I have had PROBLEMS with both brake components and shocks/struts they have installed. Where I really have a problem with these folks is that they never save the broken parts to show me. I like to see what was wrong, and understand how the part failed. For some reason, this shop is never able to show me the work or broken parts they say they have replaced. read more

Les Schwab is known for great customer service today is no exception. Always willing to do whatever you need. Small changes I noticed after 30 years of doing business with them. No support staff up front. These guys are doing it all. Les Schwab management needs to staff the front desk with customer service people and allow the staff to get the tires on. I am guessing this is but corporate downsizing but in the process you over work your people and frustrate customers who wait longer than normal. Get back to the old days like Les had it. Cliff notes version: The manager, Rich has to be the worst customer service employee I have ever met. In the course of the below explanation he lost the keys to our car. Tried to push the blame on us. Expected us to be ok with all this. Seemed to refuse to do anything for us to fix the situation till I demanded it and another customer chimed in. Gave away another customers work order with all personal information on it. Grabbed paper out of my wife's hand, and in the process got way to close and physical for both of our comfort. This should really be a no star review. I took my car in for a slow leak in the front driver side tire around 130pm on a Monday Rich, who later identified himself as the manager, told me that they would get to it in the next hour as there was only one car in front of us. 4 hours later I called for an update and was put on hold for about 5 minutes before Rich came on the line and told they were having trouble finding my keys and was pretty sure my car hadn't even moved. He told me he would call me back. At this point being already near by I decided to come in as it was 530 and they would be closing soon and I could not be with out my car the next day. Rich called me as I was pulling in so I chose to finish the conversation inside the store. I came in and he repeatedly told me they had no idea where my keys were and therefore didn't know what to do. At this point it seemed to myself and my wife that Rich was attempting to put the blame on us somehow as he had not even apologized at this point. I told him as he continued to look in several other locations that he needed to get someone to get a new key made as that was the only key. He relented as another customer started to add his opinion to the totally inept situation. At this point a few other employees joined the search that probably should have taken place over 3 hours ago! And at the very least maybe a phone call at that point to let us know the situation?! Shortly after starting to look another employee found the keys in the wall file that they use for each work order with my name on the keys attached to a completely different cars work order that had been completed sometime between when I had dropped off the keys and this point. We figured that part out when we demanded our keys and turned to leave. Rich looking dumbfounded asked if we new so and so(name omitted as their privacy has already been breached by Rich's next action) and handed my wife the work order. She turned to leave assuming that was our work order and would at least offer proof of the whole ridiculous situation. I asked Rich at this point who was the manager he stated he was and asked him who was above him I would like to talk to them and he said no one at this store leaving me to believe that he was the general manager which I truly hope is not true but I will find out. He then seemed to notice my wife leaving and chose as action to grab her arm and attempt to yank the paper out of her hand at which time she stated to him to get his hands off her and not to touch her again he has no right to do such a thing. At this point I took a look at the paper as Rich still could not seem to comprehend any of what was going on. I then realized that the half torn paperwork was to a 2010 ford suv (I believe escape). Not even something similar to our Taurus other than brand! Which leaves me to believe that they got all of our private information on their paperwork when they left. All the while through this Rich continued to say I don't know what you expect me to do about this. To wrap up a long story. We will not be back. We are longtime Les Schwab customers at many locations across Oregon and southwest Washington and by far this is the worst run. In the half dozen to a dozen times I have been into this location since moving to Camas, I've never even had anyone run out to great us! That seems extremely minor after this encounter but maybe it was a warning sign of a horribly run store that I ignored because of my previous experiences with this company. read more
