Their brand promise is "Doing the Right Thing Since 1952". I feel like most of the time these brand promises are just corporate feel good, mumbo-jumbo, lip service. Recently though I went into Les Schwab with some tires I had purchased from them several years back. Long story short those tires just weren't performing any longer. Even though they were slightly out of the mileage warranty the manager worked with me and agreed the life I got out of the tires wasn't right and they got some credit approved for replacements. I've gotten tires from other big box tire stores and I'm confident they wouldn't have gone the extra mile to insure their customer's satisfaction. I'm happy to see that a company still values customer service and that their brand promise is just that. A promise. Bravo Les Schwab! read more

I drove in with two tires that were nearly bald, drove out with a new set that I could afford. They had a variety of tires in stock that would fit my car and helped me find the best ones in my price range. Everyone was friendly and professional, and the waiting area was clean and had free wifi. I like that the service also includes free tire rotation in the future. Had an appointment at 4pm at Pep Boys... Waited 20 min. In line to find out that they didn't have what I needed. Went to Les Schwab on the way to the home. Major pissed about Pep Boys... Derek at Les Schwab. Got me in... no appointment!!! They also didn't have the tires I needed but he was still able to give me 3 options that would work for me right now. This place is awesome! They are lighting fast and have friendly staff. I have a very busy weekend planned including a Beeper Egg Hunt (blind babies and children have a chance to do a traditional Easter egg hunt by listening for eggs Vs using their sight). I called them about 10 minutes before they closed. The manager Rob didn't turn me away he said to come on in. I made it in before they closed, checked in, watched how quickly the crew changed my tire. I had my car back in in less than 20 minutes. I highly recommend this place! These guys were on it, from the time I pulled into the parking lot they were outside asking how they could help. Everyone in there helps you. Very friendly and knowledgable. They explained everything to me that needed to be done , and how it all worked. Very profession, and promt. They didn't try and force me into getting more than I wanted done. After Firestone Tire on N. Blackstone told me that the nail was in the "sidewall" part of the tire and couldn't be repaired, although they could sell me a new tire for over $200, I decided to check with Les Schwab in Clovis. They not only fixed the tire but did it a no cost! We've used the same Firestone store for years for more new sets of tires, than I can remember but that's all come to an end. From this point forward we'll send all of our tire related business to Les Schwab. read more

They are amazing! While driving to a Dr. appointment this morning, my low tire pressure sensor came on. I pulled over and low and behold a tire quickly going flat. I limped into my local Les Schwab. Nobody likes waking up to a flat tire! I went into Les Schwab a couple days ago and the young girl who helped me ran out to my car and was very friendly, she assured me that they would take a look at it and gave me a quote (in case I did need a new tire). Later it turns out I ran over a nail and they were able to take care of it for free! At no point did they ever try to upsell me or pressure me to buy any unnecessary anything. About 45 mins. later I drive off and onto my day happy that they were able to fix my problem without any hassle or pressure. read more

I drive quite a bit for my work and when my tire maintenance light came on I called Les Schwab and Rob said 'come right in and we'll get it fixed'. This was not a day where I had any flexibility to be late, but I trusted 'Rob' and went for it. I was greeted in the parking lot and immediately taken care of. They gave me a ride to my work, a couple of miles away, and within 30 minutes, they called to say my car was ready, no charge, and did I need someone to come and pick me up? They went above and beyond and earned my business! And I must add, I wouldn't have minded staying at the tire center as it had free wifi and was clean and comfortable. These guys do a great and honest job. We discovered that my wife's car needed front tires. These guys showed us tires in various prices and quality. We went with a mid level tire, as we intend to keep the car only a few more months. A week later the side wall on one of the new tires developed a hole, may have been a defective tire. I took it back to Les Schwab. They didn't have a replacement tire in stock so they got in their work truck and drove to a nearby sister store. They brought back the tire, replaced the busted one with no questions asked. While I was there I witnessed these guys running to the phone, literally. I also witnessed them answer every question any customer had. They have TVs and cell phone charging stations, toys for kids, tables to eat a meal on. When my truck needs tires or new rims I will be coming here. read more

I dropped off two tires for our work trucks today. They met me at the truck, and grabbed them out of the bed for me. They said I could wait but I had to pick up other things, when I went back I barley had time to get out of the truck. They had them in the back and sent me on my way, never went inside the building. Can I give less than one star? My husband installed new brakes and lift on my FJ. There was a minor squeak coming from the rear tires so my husband just said "take it to Les Schwab, I might have put a clip on backwards". So I did. I explained the issue and ended up being there for over 2 hours for the guys to look... just look at my car and then tell me "well I can't see anything wrong, but that's what happens when you don't use premium parts"... first of all, don't be a jerk. Second of all, I have more confidence in the parts my husband would pick for my car than for anyone else. Luckily, I wasn't charged for just sitting there for 2 hours. Later, I took it to someone else, was in and out, they found the minor problem and fixed it. Oh and this guy said, "your husband did a good job!" So I would not recommend these guys to anyone. We're pretty loyal customers when we find a good place too. We'll NEVER be back. read more

As a mom it can be hard to be taken seriously at car shops, but going to Les Schwab for new tires was a plesant experience. Everyone was very nice and very willing to help me. They were more than willing to answer any questions I had. The warranties they offer for their tires are great! Every single member of their team is genuinely concerned about the wellbeing of my car and my family, and they always tell me specific details that I need to know in order to save the most money on my purchases. They even drove all the way out to my home in Fresno to fix a flat tire within one hour of my phone call so I could get to work on time! They are all great people, from the person who picks up the phone to the person who rotates my tires. The staff are honest, reliable, and friendly. They have popcorn and children's coloring books in their extremely comfortable, well-lit, open lobby, which is a great place to sit down and do work while my car is getting worked on. This place is amazing! I came here after I realized that Costco wouldn't plug the holes in my tire. I randomly passed this store on Clovis Ave and thought I'd stop by. I was pleasantly surprised with the structure and layout of the tire center as well as the customer service I received. I was greeted by Rob who is the manager of the store. He was incredibly friendly and was actually helping someone with directions who was lost and had no cell phone. I was instantly impressed. One he finished, i informed him of my situation and asked him how much it would cost to plug the holes in my tire. Rob let me know that over the holidays they will change flats for feee as long as you donate to the toys drive they have going on in order to help less fortunate families with toys and expenses for the holidays. I was instantly floored. Let me paint a picture - I'm standing in the middle of one off the most luxurious tire shops I've ever been in ( flat screen television, coffee, tea, clean waiting area with chairs and semi-couches), the staff is genuinely friendly, they care about the community, and I'm getting my tire fixed for free? In addition to this, they were able to fix my tire in 30 minutes even though they told me it would be an hour. In the future, no matter where I live - I will always support this business. The care that they display for their customers and the community at large is commendable. I would give them ten stars if I could. read more

Wow, they meet you as soon as you get out of the car, but I think that's just so they can try to see how fat your wallet is. I took my car in for rear brakes because the indicator had started to make a noise. It was a great waiting area, but then the technician came out and said that he had looked at my brakes and the entire brake system was cracked and needed to be replaced, and for my "safety" he could do that for me for $640. Yeah Right, I said, put my car back together and I'll drive it over to my brother who is a auto tech for the Highway Patrol and I'll let him look at it. Long story short, I only needed rear brake pads. Won't ever go there again. read more

I needed two tires for my truck. They quoted my 524.00 which included an alignment. I told them my truck didn't need one so how much without the alignment and they said it would be the same, it's included. I ended up going down the street to Carroll's and only paid 295.00 for a comparable tire. Les Schwab was very nice and professional but in today's economy, Save your money and go somewhere else. read more
