i've had several pairs of jeans altered with original hem here. they do a pretty good job - well i'm satisfied and people can't tell that they've been altered. the price is reasonable and the people are friendly. turnaround time is extremely fast, i've had a pair of jeans hemmed with pickup the next day! i will surely come here again and have recommended this place to friends and coworkers. read more

This place is the BEST! They fixed the zipper in a satin gown in less then 45min. Every other place I called just laughed at me! Not only did they do it BUT it was perfect! and super cheep too. I have been using Le's for all my tailoring and am very happy. I lost a size about a year and a half ago and I had to have all my clothes taken in including some beautiful suits...Loc did it all and everything came out very nice whether it was the suits or the lace dancing skirt or the blue jeans. She had me try on before I took the items and if an adjustment was needed she did it with a smile, right away. Her prices may not be rock bottom, however she's a professional tailor, and does a much better job than the drycleaner. I highly recommend. read more

I live within walking distance of Le's. I chose them because of the close proximity. I tried them on faith. What a great dry cleaners! Le's does an excellent job with both dry cleaning and alterations. The service is consistent. I applaud Le's for being so accommodating and patient, especially with my last order. I took twenty-eight pieces in to be cleaned, a few pieces of which had stains and/or required tailoring. I am very happy with the results. read more

I went to Le's Tailoring last Saturday to bring my wedding dress to be hemmed and bustled. The woman who helped me was incredibly sweet and very, very precise. She was really worried about my hem being crooked (which is my fault because I have one leg longer than the other) and I assured her it would be fine. The prices are incredible ($200 for the above mentioned alterations) -- I can't wait to see how the dress turns out! I also gave her a pair of jeans to replace the zipper. I'm really glad I found a great, inexpensive tailor close to home! read more

This place is great. The owner is nice and knows what she's doing. This shop is the only place I get my tailoring done because I trust her. Most of my clothes are overpriced expensive pieces that I wouldn't want anyone making a mistake over. Plus they are super quick and efficient as well. read more

Le's did a really great job on altering my jeans. Loc is the sweet lady in front that takes your measurements and really listens to exactly what you want done. They pulled my jeans in about 2 sizes and NO ONE can tell that they've been altered. The prices are really reasonable, too. read more

The absolute best alteration shop yet! Staff is great to deal with and the work is the best I've seen yet for my designer jeans. Probably my new go to. Thanks to the yelpers I decided to bring in my newest 4 pairs of jeans and 1 pair of work slacks. The jeans were shortened complete with the original hem. I've tried multiple alteration and tailoring places but Le's was by far the best. Turn around time was quick. Even had the option for next day. Jeans were $15 a pair and slacks w/o lining was $12. Luc does wonderful tailoring and alterations. She's all the way across town, but we love her work. Her prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality. She's even done some unusual items for us, like repairing some drapery tiebacks. And, always has our items available when promised. read more

I checked out most of the reviews and decided to take my gown here to be hemmed up an inch. It was also wrinkled and needed to be steamed. The lady said everything will be ready to wear when I pick it up in a week. It was $75 for the hemming and wrinkled like it came out of a tissue box! I thought the $75 charge was for hemming and straightening out the wrinkles. But no. The hem wasn't all straight either. Definitely not going here again. Do not recommend. They are expensive and do not deliver what they promise. read more

I wish I could have given Le's Tailoring 4.5 stars, but unfortunately Yelp does not allow for that. The quality of the work was very good and the owner is terrific to work with, but I want to give her fitting room a makeover. Just a few key touches would make the experience more enjoyable. She does a great job with jeans and can attach your original hem back on if that's what you're looking for. read more

Happy to be back on the island and happy to have Le's only a couple miles away. She is the best in town and the best prices. I brought a western vintage skirt with all kinds of challenges and she made it fit me like a glove. They work around your schedule and don't over charge. Once you try her you will want to bring all of your clothes in so you can have a custom fit. read more

I took my wedding gown to Le's to have a hook replaced and a bustle sewn to the back of the dress. The turnaround time was less than a week, they did a phenomenal job, and it cost $30. I had a couple of jeans tailored here and I was impressed with the results. My jeans fitted exactly the way I wanted them. The cut and stitching were very detailed, they matched the threading to the original, and the turn around time was quick. Now my jeans doesn't feel as baggy and loose anymore. Always do a great job! Have had jeans hemmed as well as a bridesmaid dress. Also had my bridesmaid dress taken in at the top, and when I first went to pick it up the woman told me to try it on. I tried it and it wasn't as tight as I wanted it to be, so she redid it for me within a week at no additional charge. Fast and accurate service without breaking the bank! I trust Le's will all my alterations. read more

They've done great work hemming jeans and replacing jacket pockets for me. They've done additional work for my wife. Great results. Especially the jeans. They cut off the bottom of the leg and sewed it back on and it looks original. Not like some I got done elsewhere where they just folded the leg under and it clearly looks like a hem job. read more

You simply cant charge double the price of everyone else and then spend three times the turn around time on simple orders...Not good.

It's great that this place received 4-5 stars from other Yelpers, but unfortunately I wasn't able to experience the 4-5 stars. If I can give them 0, I would. I dropped off 3 pair of jeans and 2 trousers on 02/16/08 to be altered with the original hems, and was told that it'll be ready for me on 02/21/08. On that Thursday, I went there around 1-ish excited and missing my new pants, but that excitement got squash. It took them a minute to locate my pants, and when they did, the gal at the front told me that they only finished 2 out of the 5 pants that I'd dropped off and if I can come back tomorrow (Friday) and it'll be ready. I told her that I'm leaving out of town & told them this information the Saturday the pants were dropped off, or else I would have taken them elsewhere. Anyhow, I left the shop, but then decided to pay for the completed pants and take the remainder elsewhere. When I went back to the shop and told the gal that I'll pay for the 2 pants they completed and take the other 3 elsewhere, they then changed their tone, and told me to come back at 5:30 and it'll be done. I told them its okay because I waited almost an entire week, and didn't want to wait anymore. After telling them that and wanting to pay, I came to find out that they haven't started any alteration on any of the pants I gave them almost a week ago. At that very moment, I thank them for their effort, asked for my pants, and will NEVER RETURN! I took my pants to Park Blvd. Cleaners & Alteration and was told it'll be all completed by the next day. Sure enough they kept their word and did a great alteration job with the original hems to my jeans. read more

I love Le's once again. Four years ago, she did a tremendous job on my wedding dress. This time I took in 2 dresses to have them shortened. And one had to have the wide-based pant legs made into a dress. Yay! Success on both, they look fabulous and now I can wear these dresses, instead of giving them to consignment. I am a proud yelper. After a coworker refered me to this place I searched on Yelp and was very impressed by all the great reviews. I took my bridesmaid dress to take it out a little around the hips and take it in a little around the breast area. Instead of making an adjustment on the side to take in on the top, she cut the heart! First fitting to try on the dress, one side was bigger than the other! it looked like I had lop-sided breasts! plus it was a little tight still. The day before the wedding I had a second fitting and the dress was HELLA BIG!!! she also removed the plastic pieces thats in the front of the dress used a garter type. I didnt know she removed it and was tripping out why the dress looked so wrong then I remembered! she didnt even know what she had did. I picked up the day of the wedding, yes, the day of the wedding. Because she removed the garter and put it back in, it totally messed up the dress and looked like I had plastic pieces sticking out from gut when i sat down! my dress was totally lop-sided, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, feeling at the wedding, very self-contiuos of my dress. So funny, I had a lady (guest at the wedding) starring at me, walked up to me and said, "honey, I tailor for a living, I'm sorry but your dress is really messed up"! On the outside of the dress you can see where she took it in, you can see ALL the new stitching in back, it was crooked. Long story short, I HATE THIS PLACE!!!!!! IT REALLY ISN'T WORTH THE 1 STAR I GAVE IT. read more

My boyfriend had to get a suit and have it tailored in 24 hours in order to make it to Grandpa's funeral. As if the loss is not enough to deal with, who wants to worry about finding a suit getting it fitted asap? After scoring a stylin' and rather nicely priced getup at Burlington Coat Factory, I called a bunch of places recommended by fellow yelpers, and all wanted $10-20 more than Loc Le for altering a suit jacket, and could not get it done the same day. Finding Loc Le was such a relief; she quoted a very reasonable price ($12 for the pants hem and $25 for the jacket), and did not have any doubt that she could have it finished that afternoon. So boyfriend went in, got fitted, went back around 3, and was able to respectfully pay his last respects. Honestly, he was probably the best dressed guy at the whole funeral. The alterations were flawless and one friend said it looked like boyfriend spent $600 on a good suit. Now here is a pyeng you leng moment. Thanks Loc Le! read more

They did a beautiful and quick job fixing a couple of tears and shortening the straps of my dress.

I used to come here all the time for alterations (shortening my pants and jeans), but the last few times, the alterations have been done TOO short. At the time the pants were marked for hemming, I wore the shoes that I would ultimately wear...and when I tried them back on at home with the same shoes, the length was at least 1/2" to 1" too short. I don't wear any of my pants above my shoes or even skimming the tops of my shoes-- I like them long, like basically at the floor-- and now they are all unwearable. Am really irritated and disappointed-- I will never bring anything here to be altered again. read more

At Le's, they do a good job altering clothes and the prices are reasonable. I also really like Loc Le. She is a helpful, customer-oriented person. It is a pleasure interacting with her. I took off one star, though, because Loc has been on vacation and her replacement is not very bright. The stand in is not focused on customer service at all. She is so slow! I had to wait 20 minutes to drop off and pick up a few items last time even though there was only one person in front of me. Hope Loc comes back soon. read more

I've just returned from my first experience at Le's. I had heard great things from Yelp reviewers and after California Cleaners folded, I decided to try out Le's. First: The young woman who took my cleaning told me I had to pay BEFORE they cleaned my clothes. I gave her $40 (two 20's) in prior payment mode. She gave me $5 in change. As I was walking out of the store, I realized she had short changed me. She acknowledged what she claimed was a mistake. Now I'm worried if I'll ever see my clothes again. II may give another review when I see my clothes but right now I don't like the service; the payment before cleaning requirement; and the high price for the cleaning. read more
