By prepaying, if he doesn't fulfill the monthly service or he claims no tech will clean on a day because of a pool service course or holiday or when he wants to give his tech a week off, you basically are getting screwed with what you pay. He once sent an invoice of $80 a week after no pool service and doesn't inform ahead of time or approval of any extra cost/service that's not already covered with monthly full pool service. I hired him because of a friend using him before, but because he made excuses for not showing up on their pool service with "I have an appt with my accountant", they dropped using him after too many excuses and had to get their credit card company to reimburse for a month they charged that they no longer were their pool cleaner. The techs he used once just dumped chemicals and didn't clean/sweep the pool. Another incident, the tech sent pics of the pool (before/After) but neglected to show the condition of the jacuzzi which was dirty and uncleaned. Sent pics of the jacuzzi soon after the tech left. In the end, Tomao only pool cleaned 7 months and I'm now with a new pool company.

At that time Edward was highly recommended by Leslie's pool and he was also just starting out . Edward was initially very professional and prompt in coming out the same day I called him. Both he and his dad showed up and after he took care of an issue caused by the previous pool service company and I hired him that day . The first few years he and his dad provided great pool service but once he started to branch out and hire other people to work for him was where the quality and professionalism started to slip . His employees did not want to actually work and stayed less than 15 minutes most service days even though I was paying for full service . Once they left the gate open and my new rescue dog escaped and it took me 30 minutes to catch the dog with the idiot pool guy saying it wasn't his fault . Of course it was his fault- he was told to close the gate immediately after entering because of the dogs . That particular guy was banned by me from ever coming out again . His crew would just pour the chemicals into the pool -not taking any care of how they added the chemicals and they ONLY tested for ph and chlorine. I have a pebble tech pool and you have to also test for acid and phosphate and calcium as well weekly . Recently, Edward sent out a revised pool service agreement to everyone where he has decided to Only use outdated methods to test the pool water and not use the modern digital water testing system that Leslie's pool company recommends especially for pebble tec pool surfaces . On of the last straws for me was all of a sudden his crew started making excuses that they couldn't work the combination lock after years of being able to put the combination in and open the gate . So they started skipping service days . I then tested the water at Leslie's in early November and the report came back very bad . It showed that they were not caring for my pool chemicals the correct way. I sent Edward the results and he did tell his dad to put in some corrective chemicals but NEVER responded to me or called me to discuss what was going on with my pool chemistry . Even after I had the water re-tested 3 weeks later at Leslie's and the results came back worse and I sent him the results, he NEVER called me or texted me back. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. I learned from Leslie's that they stopped recommending him for the same reasons . I have a new pool service company that was recommended by Leslie's and they use the modern digital water testing system and I am very happy.

The first time Chris arrived, the gate was locked, so he had to come back another time. He was incredibly nice and understanding about coming out twice, and throughout the whole process, he communicated with me clearly, professionally, and respectfully. What really stood out was his kindness. Chris didn't charge me because there wasn't much work that needed to be done, and he genuinely wanted to help my elderly dad. That kind of compassion and generosity is hard to find these days. Chris is an extremely nice guy, honest, professional, and truly caring. I really appreciate the way he treated my dad and went out of his way to help. Highly recommend The Pool Guys and especially Chris! Great guy and great company!

He showed me where leaks normally come from, did a sonar leak test on the pool. Found a small leak in the skimmer and for the price of coming out fixed it. We shortly had the Pool replastering done with a new skimmer but the fact he was so honest(previous guy said skimmer was cracked and was going to be $3,500.00 to fix). And he even recommended our plaster contractor who did a great job also! I would recommend Bob Water Wiz to anyone who asked.

It's true that I could probably find a…read morecheap one on Marketplace but I could never be assured of the craftsmanship, and I worry about delivery, repairs and what if I just replace it after everything? So I went shopping for a high quality hot tub at a reasonable price and this was by far the best place I found. They make their own hot tubs to very high standards of quality , and they even resell them to other businesses . Basically a wholesaler. I had the pleasure of meeting with the owner initially, several of the employees, and eventually the delivery guys . Every single person conducted themselves with friendly professionalism. Harley and Manny - these two brave souls got stuck with the seemingly impossible task of delivering the hot tub. And even though we encountered multiple problems with the spacing of my backyard , they were able to figure out and Tackle every single one of them. And now I have an awesome hot tub. We had Harte's do our pool plastering and couldn't be more disheartened. After saving up for the…read morejob, we chose this company upon recommendation of a Turlock friend Who knows the family. The whole process started off with a woman coming out to give an estimate. After that, the company was near impossible to reach, so many of our questions went unanswered. This is where we should have used common sense and shut down the process. Our bad. The rest was a nightmare. Our original tile was to be kept and used, so they decided to clean it with a sandblaster. On that day, the man who did the job made the moment that he should have used their less powerful sandblaster, but it was too late. The tile was heavily pitted and most of the grout gone. To rectify this it was decided they would "seal" the tile and re-grout. I'm no tile expert, but I've done enough to know that the film they painted over the pits (which came peeling right back off within a couple of days) was a shotty coverup. And if that wasn't bad enough, instead of removing the old grout completely before reapplying, they skimmed a new layer over the top, leaving much of it on the face of the tile. Most of that new skimmed-on grout chipped off within a few days as well. Another shotty coverup. As far as the pool plaster, we brought to their attention several cracks, a footprint, and areas near the tile which were missed completely. We were told there was absolutely nothing that could be done. I do suppose that wasn't a terrible thing as by this time we were quite DONE! Never again!
