I do not like swimming pools. I do not care for beaches either. Here because I went to Target, Rite Aid, and Walmart but was unable to find a snorkel set for Gavin. He wanted to use it for bath time. After weeks w/o any luck I decided to call Leslie's to see if they have any. This guy has been using it almost everyday. Small price to pay for fulfilling his quest. Super friendly woman at the store.

Proper products and the pool water went from a greenish cloudy look to a clear clean look in just 4 hours

I am happy I took the chance and time to come in even after seeing bad reviews. I was "that mom" that bought a above ground "pool in a box" thinking it'd be easy plop some chlorine tablets in keep t clean and it'd be easy summer full of fun. Turns out these pools need the same type of care as a in ground pool to keep the water balanced and clear/clean. I was a newbie and knew nothing ...went in thinking I wouldn't get much help or they'd make me fee stupid but that was the opposite. The employee Scott helped me! He tested the water free and told me exactly what I needed. He took the time to explain it to me so I understood why, when and how much of each item to put in. He made it simple and easy to understand. I'm going back next week to test again to see how the new products helped balance the water. I was using chlorine tabs like the pool instructions said turns out those didn't even put a dent in our 6k gallon pool. In just 4-8 hours the water went from a cloudy look to a super clear fresh look. Excited to get the most out of the pool with better and easier care.

The main guy in this place (don't know his name -- bald) is super helpful and knowledgeable. What more could you ask for?

If you're shopping for a hot tub and want a very knowledgeable, no-pressure buying experience, ask…read morefor Liam at Spa & Sauna Company. I've honestly never left a review on Yelp or Google before, but this experience was so good that I felt compelled to share it. I recently purchased a hot tub for my family from Spa & Sauna Company, and Liam made the entire process exceptional from start to finish. Before visiting the store, I had done some research on the type of hot tub we wanted, but once you start looking seriously, the number of options becomes overwhelming--different brands, sizes, salt systems vs. traditional sanitation, lounge seats vs. no lounge, installation considerations, maintenance, and more. When I walked into the store, I appreciated that I could browse for a bit without anyone immediately approaching me with a sales pitch. At just the right moment, Liam came over, introduced himself, and let me know he'd be happy to help if I had any questions. What followed was honestly one of the best sales experiences I've ever had for a major purchase. Liam took the time to really listen to what I was looking for. He walked me through several options and clearly explained the pros and cons of different models--including both less expensive and more premium options. At no point did I feel pressured toward a particular model or add-on. The conversation felt informative, relaxed, and genuinely helpful, and it ultimately helped us find the perfect hot tub for our family. But the support didn't stop after the purchase. Liam helped us think through the best location on our deck for installation, worked through the delivery logistics quickly and smoothly, and has continued to be available afterward to answer questions. As first-time hot tub owners, we had plenty--everything from chemicals and temperature settings to water balance and general maintenance. Liam has been incredibly responsive and helpful through all of it. We've now had the hot tub for about a month and our family absolutely loves it. Like I said, I've literally never written an online review before, but this experience deserved one. If you're looking for a hot tub and aren't sure where to start, Spa & Sauna Company has a great selection--and if you want someone knowledgeable who will guide you through the process without any pressure, ask for Liam.

Great job purging, draining and cleaning our hot tub. Will use them again next year!read more

Our entire experience with Paradise Valley Spas has been awesome! Jonathan is a great, no-pressure…read moresalesman that helped us pick the right spa. He was very patient and answered all of our questions, not to mention offering lots of relevant information that we never would have thought of. We placed our order and the spa was delivered about a week early. The electricians that Jonathan suggested (JMC Electrical) did an amazing job as well. We went back today to buy some additional accessories, and Jonathan was more than happy to take the time to answer all of our noob questions. I highly recommend Paradise Valley Spas, and Sundance-brand hot tubs. We now own a nicer spa than I have ever been in elsewhere!

From initial installation to scheduled care to random maintenance, it's something out of a movie. Tonight put me over the edge. My daughter and her friends wanted to use the hot tub. It's been a 4yr circus with this company. Tonight, I had to disassemble the arm to open it (it was broken at one end and wouldn't open.) Then take the cover off and put it on the ground to let them all fit. Then, ask them to help me put the cover back on, and then reinstall the arm. I travel a lot so my return home and hot tub time is important to me. I also have a very bad lower back, so it is also therapeutic for me. Will post again when I get the timeline, service calls. And everything else listed. This hot tub is relatively new.

Louie Mejia was our project manager, and he did an outstanding job from start to finish. He was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process of selecting finishes and design details, making sure everything came together beautifully. He also recommended essential repairs and updates that needed to be addressed to ensure the final result was not only stunning but built to last. Thanks to his expertise and attention to detail, we now have an amazing new pool that exceeded our expectations. We really appreciated that Coral Pool and Spa is a family-owned company and that they do not subcontract their work. Instead, they have a specialized, in-house team for every aspect of the job. Every employee we interacted with was professional, skilled, and respectful. We also enjoyed working with Louie's dad, the owner, who was always available to answer our questions and make us feel confident in the process. We highly recommend Coral Pool and Spa to anyone looking to remodel their pool or build a new one. Their quality, integrity, and customer care truly set them apart.

Anyway, there are three key things for me when it comes to a gym. First is cleanliness, second is shower facilities, third is equipment. AVAC is a relatively small gym and I tend to go at off hours. This means not many people, so thankfully it's very clean inside. If you think about a 24 Hour Fitness or similar, they have hundreds of people constantly working out, there's no way to uphold hygiene standards. AVAC, despite being small, has frequent cleanings happening, which is nice. The showers at AVAC are... okay. On the plus side, they provide towels, which is a dealbreaker for me. Who wants to bring their own towel to a gym? So that's a big convenience factor. The towels have been bleached and washed to the point they are marginally more absorbent than copy paper and quite rough, but I guess a towel is a towel. The showers themselves are workable but not ideal. Communal in nature, which I personally find awkward, but going at off hours at least allows me to have them to myself or only 1-2 others at most. If it was packed I'd probably wait, it's just too weird. The shampoo and body wash are not very high quality, kind of reminds me of what you'd get at a cheap motel. But again, at least it's there. I also don't want to cart my own soap around. For the gym's size, the equipment variety and quantity is good. I've never not been able to get a treadmill, I've always been able to get the free weights I want, and there are usually benches available. The only thing in short supplies are squat racks, of which there are two, and space for deadlifts, which is basically also two. I would say the gym's clientele leans towards... not people doing those types of exercise. So I haven't typically had to wait, but again I also don't go at peak hours. There are also tons of machines, if you're the type of person who thinks isolation exercises are good. Better than nothing I suppose, but that's just me. AVAC offers a lot of free classes, of which I've taken none. They also have a snack bar, which I've never used. There's also a pool (not the swim school pool which is like 2.5' high) and a kiddie pool outside, neither of which I've been in. And there are tennis courts and pickleball and some outdoor fitness area, which, you guessed it, I have never been to. I wouldn't say AVAC is a destination gym the way Bay Clubs are, but if you're closeby it's probably the best one around. They also have plenty of parking in back in two lots.
