    Service charge for five people?

First visit here. The fried flounder was a little dry and crispy. Boils looked OK. One drawback was a notice of an 18% service charge for a normal family of 5. Lots of seating in a few different sections. Lots of easy parking. Not much for a non meat eater. Bathroom has seen better days and needs a serious painting and repairs.

They could take reservations, who wants to take their date out on valintine's day and not have a reservation. I decided to bring my date to Let's crab. I had snow crabs and .5 shrimp it was really good. Service sucks ! The place would almost empty however they put everyone there in one area. So it was loud. Then they started dragging tables around. Big disappointment.

Better than expected! I went with the shrimp & crawfish, Cajun style with medium spice. It was good for the most part, the crawfish was not that good but the seasoning was on point. I got great service from April, she was real nice. Next time I may sit on the patio!

We had a group of 8 to dine here. They are famous for their boils, but my husband and I had a late lunch and did not want to eat much. Our friends liked their boils. Two folks got the clam chowder and thought it was good. The interior is cutely decorated with nets and wood paneling. Our waitress was good about checking on us. I got a cocktail that had champagne in it and the champagne was flat. Our friends got a peach cocktail and liked it. I got the shrimp fried rice and it was so greasy, I could barely eat it. I took a few bites then asked for a box to take it home so that I could mix it with some white rice at home to diffuse the grease. Hubby got the fried shrimp basket. It was good. I'm graciously giving this place a 3 because I didn't get what they are known for : the boils. I just didn't feel like getting my hands and possibly clothes messy. They provide bibs, but unless you're under 10 years old, it's not a good look for dinner. Lol

Went in a Friday night. We were seated immediately. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was amazing. Gabby was our waitress and was very pleasant seeing as it was our first time. The create your own combo was what we went for. Medium heat is perfect if you don't like it too spicy but still want a kick. We also got a catfish basket and the fish was fried to perfection. We will definitely be returning.

A friend brought me here for chicken wings. I thought it was funny that we were going to a seafood spot for wings. However, I'm glad that I agreed with this decision. They have amazing fried chicken wings and the spicy/hot house sauce was great. I also tried the bowl size shrimp gumbo, which was delicious. I wish I got some to go. My only complaint is that this was not served in an actual bowl, but a soup saucer of some sort. I need that good stuff to come in a Saturday cereal sized bowl. The eggs were just ok. Well boiled, but you can tell the seasoning was just thrown in there. I guess I expected it to be cooked in it somehow. I dunno, lol. The fried shrimp was like any other fried shrimp I've had. Nothing bad about it, but nothing to write home about either. Same with the fries. I did try this drink that they recent came up with names The Mermaid, and it was pretty good. I gotten three of those and was feeling pretty dang good by the end of the meal. I should add that our waitress was awesome. She recommeded the drink to me, and was very familiar with my friend because he was a regular to the point where they know what he wants before he even sits down. He had his own table and control over the remote to the TV that's above it lol. I will be returning when in town and plan to try other items on the menu, but will forever order the gumbo and wings.

Fried fish - horrible, this was what we didn't eat.

But the drink and food preparations were...amateurish. I asked for a smoked old-fashioned (or "Gunslinger", as it's called here), which somehow became a watered-down house bourbon on ice. That was after a lengthy wait in which the server apologized because "the manager is unable to light the smoker". We also ordered the Ahi Tuna Tower. From the menu description we expected a chilled, bright ahi dish akin to poke or ceviche. What we received, though, was cooked, warm, tasteless cut-up fish. We were going to order dinner, but cut our stay short. Disappointing. PS - I kept having a déjà vu feeling while we sat in the bar area. Then, my wife reminded me we'd visited this place several years ago when it was a family-run Irish pub. My Yelp review is still available, we enjoyed it much more back then.

The décor and vibe give the place a lot of personality, and it made for an enjoyable dinner date for me and my wife. Service was excellent during our visit. Our server was incredibly pleasant, attentive, and full of great suggestions. The beer selection was another highlight, with an extensive set of choices. The only small downside was my wife's wings. She wasn't thrilled with the sauce she chose, which was a bit of a letdown, but everything else we tried hit the mark. I had the 18xx Chicken Sandwich (minus the bun). Glad I went without the bun because that thing would have been a bit of a beast to try and eat as a sandwich. Overall, it's a great spot with a cool atmosphere, and an impressive beer lineup. I feel comfortable recommending though I'd likely try a steak or burger option. Update: Two more visits and I've tried two other entrees: the Ooey-Gooey Grilled Cheese Sandwich and the Spinach and Salmon Salad. I had the salad because I wasn't especially hungry on that visit. It was neither bad nor outstanding. The grilled cheese sandwich was, indeed, as advertised, both ooey and gooey and both in a good way. I'm still interested to try a burger on a future visit. On one of our visits, the kitchen team apparently used the tuna that was meant for my wife's Seared Ahi Tuna Salad for another meal which resulted in an additional 15-minute wait time for our food. Though disappointing, a member of the kitchen staff came to our table to explain that situation which was a professional courtesy move that was professional and respectable.

We set up our chairs then went inside to place our order. They have TWO lines. One just for beverages, beer, wine & spirits. Then a food line where you can get both. There was a young lady at the front of the line with a wireless device who took our order and money. Michelle got a Fort Millsner and I got a coke. The lady said: 'they will call your name for the drink order and we'll send you a text when the food comes out' After about 10 minutes, they called my name and ONLY the coke came out. We waited for another 5 minutes waiting for the beer to be called, we never got called. I went back up to the counter and explained what happened and they immediately poured a Fort Millsner. We waited another 20 minutes for our food to come out. I got the 3 salmon tacos and Michelle got the Greenway salad. She said it was 'OK'. The flour tortillas were very dry and there was very little salmon on them. Very little pico de gallo and not much avocado flavor, disappointed. All in all we missed about 40 minutes of the concert performance. VERY disappointed with the lack of service. You're not allowed to bring in outside food or beverage. They can do better. There are SO MANY other things to do in Fort Mill so I hope they can turn it around.

This experience completely changed my perception of Itaewon Bar & Food. After eating 5-6 popcorn chickens, I felt like this was really chewy! I didn't want to look down but I had to. I've tried several vendors by now, and so far, they've been more or less disappointing in taste, presentation and pricing (way overpriced). This place, however, hit all the right spots. We ordered the OG Smash Burger with Fries, and K-Street Egg Toast (w/ Ham), and Ginger Ale. Well, first of all, the pricing seemed fair ( food-court appropriate!)...something I can't say for some of the vendors I've tried so far. The burgers were more expensive than McDonalds, but less than that of a restaurant (as it should be!). Then their K-Street Toast was a STEAL. I say that because their Egg Toast was less than 7 bucks, yet Huge...so buttery, soft and fluffy too! Most importantly, these quality-packed burgers, egg toast AND fries were all absolutely delicious! Surprising...because you don't think Korean when you think of good burgers...but these burgers (and the fries!) were rich, savory and juicy...SO good! In fact, I'd put it right up there with Bang Bang Burgers and Ace #3 (my fave burger joints in town). Again, their K-Street Toast was quite the treat...it was luscious!! I'm already thinking about running back to try more items on their menu...like their Korean Chicken Sandwich and Bulgogi Cheese Fries. I'm not even a big fan of hand-helds, but this was the best meal I've had at this food court...and I didn't feel ripped off at the end of it!

I stopped in here on a Friday afternoon to grab a quick bite. Upon entrance, I really liked the paintings and other decorations spread throughout the dining room. The kitchen is visible as well which makes for a more immersive dining experience. The menu seemed to have plenty of seafood but I figured I'd opt for their special, a Blackened Red Snapper with Bacon Jalapeño Cream Sauce. It came with two sides so I decided to try out their okra and collard greens, after a recommendation from my waiter. I typically don't order collard greens but he said they have pork and are delicious. The place wasn't too busy so food came out quickly, about 10 minutes after I ordered. The food looked decent upon first glance, but I wasn't sold just yet. After my first bite of fish, I was taken aback by the delicious flavor of their cream sauce paired with the blackened fish. It was a solid portion of fish and tasted of good quality, so it didn't stand much a chance. The sides were also just as delicious. It's hard to mess up fried okra so my expectations were met to a tee. The collard greens were actually so incredible as well. I don't really know what they're made of but I definitely will be trying it more in the future, if other places prepare it as good. They also had a house hot sauce with was more flavor than heat, but paired wonderfully with everything. The whole meal was so good so I understand why they seem to a have solid amount of regulars at this place. The staff were very kind and attentive throughout the entire meal. That said, Yard Dog is not a dog at all, but a superb little restaurant with a great menu and mouth-watering foods. Oh boy! Wife and I entered and were surprised at just how small their dining area was. Couple that with a not-so-pleasant noise level, you will have difficulty seating more than four and conversation will be tough, but not impossible. You came to eat. It is a very cozy, busy and fun place. In addition to the super menu there is a chalk board with specials. Check those out first. I spotted catch of the day, which was Red Snapper, a favorite of mine, which came with two sides ($26). When served, it was three fillets, so the whole eatable parts of the fish, topped with a Cajun spice mixture and a horseradish sauce. This is a to-die-for or last meal item. The fish was perfectly cooked and my side of collards were as mammy has done for eons: flavorful with pork and a perfect complement to my catch of the day. And the fried okra was great and I paid the $.50 for ranch dressing, as fried okra SHOULD be so complemented. Wife does not eat sea food, so she was, initially, confronted with the challenge of finding a dish without seafood in it. She did. There were a number of options, like pasta with Andouille sausage ($21) which is listed as with shrimp, but they omitted the shrimp for her. She also spied blackened meatloaf and some other items for the next visit. The place is busy and the wait staff is hustling as fast as the kitchen can get orders out. The kitchen looks so small, but they are a blur of motion cooking and plating. Kudos to the kitchen and servers. Our server was Sophie and she was excellent. There are beverages on a separate menu, mostly wine, beer and hard cider, with some non-alcohol items also available. We both had hard cider at $6 a can. Draft beer was available at $7 a glass. We will definitely return, even give lunch a try. I will most likely answer the siren call for five stars, which is certainly in the cards. See for yourselves.
