Came on a Saturday for lunch. Ate outside because we have an at-risk child. I asked to upgrade a fried shrimp basket combo to have a cup of clam chowder instead of fries even for an extra charge but they wouldn't allow it. Fine.... ordered a bowl of clam chowder. Husband ordered a fried catfish basket. Son ordered a kids shrimp basket. The server decided since the fried stuff took longer, she'd bring out my clam chowder first. Bad call - I had food and my hungry child complained that he didn't have his food and then I was completely finished when they were eating. She never brought out napkins. She never noticed we needed drink refills. We asked for tarter sauce for sons shrimp... waited awhile just for her to come out and remember we asked for it and had to wait awhile again. As for food, hush puppies and shrimp were good. Clam chowder was alright... not like we would have had back in CA but were not at the beach so it's hard to expect fantastic clam chowder. Crab boils were good, but needed a tad more seasoning to take to great. We ate at Let's Crab for the first time last Saturday night, and thoroughly enjoyed it! I had the 1 lb shrimp with no heads. It comes in a large plastic bag with LOTS of delicious juice and corn on the cob and potatoes. I chose the Cajun seasoning and spice level of "hot" which was perfect (not as hot as tongue tiger wings at Zaxby's). I've lived in the Charlotte area due 3 years, and I believe this was the best shrimp dish I've had. I will be back. read more

Seafood was good for 3.5 hours from coast. The best low country boil style (maybe only) in Fort Mill/Charlotte. I did not get it fried because who wants to mess up good seafood by frying it in oil? I went here tonight with my girlfriend. We ordered Calamari as an appetizer, fried oysters basket for her, and fried alligator basket for me. We each got Cajun fries as sides. Starting with the service...it was bad. No one greeted us as we walked in and we had to stand around for a few minutes wondering if anyone was even going to come over to sit us. Our waiter was acting weird. He would stand like 6 feet away from our table to take our order. He took another tables order by writing down the order on the paper table cloth and then ripping that table cloth off. The food...was also bad. The crispiness of the batter was good. However, the food is so bland and greasy. Our stomachs were actually hurting from how greasy it was. The calamari we ordered as an appetizer came out with the main course. It too was bland and mainly batter. The Cajun fries weren't even Cajun fries. They were basically Arby's curly fries but also bland. To top it all off, I had to sign my receipt with a sharpie. I am a resident of Fort Mill and visited most of the bars in the neighborhood and wanted to try something new. Visited a couple of bars which were overcrowded without following any precautions and finally ended up at Lets Crab. It had decent occupancy maintain distance between the tables. I frequented this bar before the pandemic but was owned by a different management. The menu completely changed and looked exciting. Coming from a country of spices, order extra hot 'Make your hands Dirty" Shrimp along with calamari. The presentation was totally different and tasted fantastic. They gave us plastic gloves and apron to avoid make ourselves dirty. The staff was polite and courteous. The place was very hygienic where they are covering the tables with think paper sheets and replacing them for new cutromers every time. It is a huge restaurant with many tables and great place to visit with a family and have different kind of an experience. Highly recommend it. read more

We sat at the bar, and our server (Chastity) was great. We had just left a funeral so we were looking to cheer ourselves up, and she was just the right level of attentive. We had some drinks, and ordered our food to go, getting the Let's Crab mix of spices, mild, with king crab, sausage, shrimp, and crawfish. It was cooked well, but overpoweringly salty. Captain Steve's was packed so my wife and I and two other couples went to Let's Crab. The place was not super crowded, but it took an hour to get our food. The gator bites appetizer was like rubber. When the food finally came, it was bad and things were missing. We all had fried fish and it was overcooked and tasted like it had freezer burn. There is a mandatory 18% tip for parties of 6 or more, which is the only way I'd have ever paid that much. We will never go back. read more

I went last Friday for lunch. I was super excited to go because the restaurant was going to open before COVID, but waited till now. It is close to my house and I like the juicy seafood bags/food of other places and was excited to have one very close to go to. My experience was LESS than great. So, I sat at the bar and the younger guy at the bar seemed nice, but it also seemed like his first job. Not a bad thing, but was not good at his job yet, but I gave him a pass as I felt he was just learning how to take and order, talk with customers, etc. He never asked if I had been there before, if I had questions, etc. While I was there he messed up a drink of a lady that was sitting near me...there was only two of us and a couple sitting at the bar...so not busy. If he is going to be a bartender/server, he will have to get a LOT better and get some people skills if you want to have repeat customers. Next, the food. So I my order was simple: Shrimp, no head and added a 1/2 lb of sausage, full mix of seasoning and medium spicy. I was asked by the bartender/server if that sausage should in the same bag as the rest.....well of course (odd question I thought). Anyway, food comes and here are the issues (no particular order): (1) sausage was in a separate bag heated with NO seasoning (why would you do that?) (2) bag was covered in seasoning/oil so was a mess (3) the rectangle metal plate you can pour the bag on to is too small - if you had crab legs, this really isn't going to work. (4) This may have been the biggest issue : Temperature of the food was only mildly warm...since they pre-cook most everything and just heat it up in the bag with the seasoning, I knew it was okay, but come on! (5) Amount of seasoning: put more seasoning in the bag with the food....seems to me they were trying to save money and just didn't have enough to fully cover everything well. (6) seasoning/medium spicy....certainly not a medium spicy as I asked for, nor was the seasoning/flavor as good as other similar juicy seafood restaurants. I would suggest taking a ride to Columbia and try out the Yummy Crab restaurant and try to mimic their food and preparation/delivery closer. I know this is a formula/delivery that all the juicy seafood places use (I mean the menus are ALL the same) and my hope is that it improves. As this was my first time here and I am hoping they are just working out the kinks, I will try going back one more time in a couple weeks or so. my hope is that their is an improvement as I would like this restaurant to make it! My hope is that this post will be taken as constructive criticism and some improvements made so that I can be a regular customer. Thanks! This is my 4th visit to the restaurant. 1st visit service was very slow but food was great. 2nd visit I was very pleased with the entire experience. 3rd visit service was average but food had been sitting. Last night we decided to bring our son for the first time for his birthday dinner. The service was AWFUL! Multiple times we had to ask for the basics-silverware, crab crackers, drink refills! Ordered door dash. Ordered 3 meals. We got 2 meals but didn't get the appetizer meal that was for my son, popcorn shrimp. I called Let's Crab and talked to someone who then checked with the kitchen to say they put everything in there. But they didn't!! I got the cocktail sauce that should have gone with the popcorn shrimp. But no shrimp. So it really irritates me that they would check to see if I'm lying and then basically then say I'm lying!!! what kind of customer service is that?!?!?!? This will be the last time we come there or order food from there. I see their rating has also gone down since we last came and ate there and I can see why. What mistrust and horrible service that was! Disappointed and angry. Thank goodness for door dash who not only rectified the situation to resend the missing part but gave me a credit for next time I use them (which is weekly). Good evening I stop into one your locations to order a pick up.After getting my order wrong and missing parts of other orders we phoned in to say something.So being on the phone we told them about the incorrect order and the missing parts. We were told to come back so we did, as we go as we are paying for the missing parts of the order I asked about my incorrect order.I was told that I need to bring back the other order in or to get my correct order which was not told me on the phone so that was very frustrating to have that happen. I would have had no problem returning it but the fact that I was not told until after I come back was unacceptable. I will be honest I just wanted my order corrected even if the whole order is not redone at least fix the part that was wrong, having spent $200 dollars.After I get back after the second trip I open my food to see that my whole entire order is wrong not only did it half of Tito's which is not supposed to have all of my shrimps had heads on them And trying my shrimp I discovered that the shrimp is pretty old. After calling for a second time to let them know that this is unacceptable I keep hearing that there is no refund which in itself is unacceptable but the fact that I was offered no solution other than remaking my order I would have to go back again for the third time with my food just to have the order that screwed up by the manager corrected.I just want anyone to know that this is horrible customer service and there's no reason that anyone shouldn't be able to get good customer service even if you don't offer a refund at least show some sympathy to your customer and try to find some other solution other than just remaking their food because for a customer to have to go back to your selfish man three times in one night is highly unacceptable. read more

We were excited to finally have a restaurant at this location and we anticipated the long awaited opening due to the pandemic. During this current environment we only order take out. I called to place the order and the phone line was staticky and the computer wasn't working, she put us on hold to go to another one - okay they have some kinks to work out. I was most disappointed when we arrived as they didn't have any semblance of order, there was one line and when I asked where to go to pick up our order I was told I had to wait in the line of people waiting to be seated, meanwhile my to go order was just sitting there.
